FWAW's Zac reveals full extent of his injury: 'Still not good'

Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) was hit with its second medical emergency after Farmer Zac injured himself on a one on one slip and slide date with Jessica.

Farmer Zac’s other Ladies — Grace, Maya, Miranda and Mieke — watched on as Zac and Jessica set up some plastic on a hill for their date, and witnessed Zac hurt his arm on the way down.

“Zac has seriously injured his wrist,” the narrator said, and Zac added in a producer-led interview: “The blind date went off the rails a little bit, my wrist blew up when I did it.”

Farmer Zac was checked out by the medics, before Jessica drove him to the local hospital to be looked at further.

“We had a really, really fun time while we were sliding, but it obviously didn’t end the way that I would have wanted, so I’ve had no one on one time with Jessica yet, so I might have to go get some now, I think she’s going to drive me to the hospital,” he said in a producer-led interview.

When he arrived back to the farm later in the night, he told the Ladies that the wait to be seen at the hospital was “four to six hours”, so he decided to give up and come home and said he’d come back in the morning.

Zac sheds light on how his injury happened, and how bad it was

While the episode showed Zac talking about being injured, it didn’t go into detail about what actually happened to cause his sore wrist.

“I got my hand caught up under the tarp, sort of rolled over on it, and then just went boing! And I sort of gave myself a little bit ouchy on my head and my wrist, and yeah, it’s still sore, still not good.”

Zac shared that his wrist continued to hurt and said he did go to the hospital again to get it checked when the wait time had died down a little.

“I was quite uncomfortable. It blew up straight away, and yeah, I was obviously in front of all the ladies as well, so I had to act tough. But yeah, I went to the hospital just to get it checked out, just make sure nothing was broken or anything.”
