Now that Dave Hand has a dating Reality TV show win under his belt, after taking out Perfect Match Season 4 with Sophie Willet, he’s open to doing a more physical show, and Prime TV’s Beast Games actually came knocking at his door.

Beast Games is a large-scale reality competition show created by YouTube star Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson that sees contestants compete in gruelling, physical and mental challenges in the hope of winning the show, and taking home the multi-million dollar prize.

In an interview with Chattr, Dave said that he was excited when a casting producer from Beast Games approached him, but, unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.

“One of the producers from the show hit me up for Beast Games, and he’s like, I put you forward, and I had an interview with the EP’s and stuff, but I didn’t, I didn’t obviously get the call up, but that was exciting, like Beast Games would have been cool. You know, to even be put forward for it,” he said. “It blows my mind, the opportunities that are already coming my way, as the show’s finished.”

Dave added that he’s done with dating shows, but definitely isn’t closing the door to other reality TV show opportunities.

“There’s a few TV stuff, I’d love to do Survivor, or something more competitive, I think. I have to hang up the lip gloss on the dating shows, but I’m open to whatever. I’m still out here working [in my caulking business]. I’m not relying on anything. It’s just I get to do cool, cool stuff. And what a blessing it was to be able to do Perfect Match,” he said.

Dave said that once his reality TV days are behind him, he’d be interested in exploring a career in the media space.

“I’d love to get into radio or something like that. I’m a morning person, I can talk. I think that that’s something that I would like to eventually get into.”

Dave reveals what happened with Sophie after Perfect Match

Dave and Sophie won Perfect Match and scored a dream holiday to anywhere in the world, but by the time they jetted off to the Maldives a few months later, their relationship was already over.

Dave told Chattr that after filming wrapped, he and Sophie spent a day together in Mexico and ultimately decided not to put a label on their relationship because of the distance — Dave lives in Melbourne, and Sophie in the UK.

Then, when they arrived to the Maldives trip two months later, he and Sophie had a chat to officially define their relationship.

“We ended up obviously catching a flight together to the Maldives on a seaplane, and we sort of sat down the first day, and I just voiced how I felt. I’m like, ‘Look, I don’t want to lead you on — not lead you on, but like, be intimate this trip, and then we’re just going to separate, and go our separate ways again after it. I feel like that we’re in a good position, I respect you as a, as a friend and I’d love to keep that relationship as a friend and enjoy this trip together as friends’,” he shared.

“And she said, ‘I agree’, she goes, ‘I wasn’t sure what to say to have this conversation. I’m glad you brought it up on the first day.’” He added. “She agreed with everything I said. She thanked me for bringing it up.”

Out of the other five couples that made the finale, only one couple — Jimmy S and Alison — are loosely still connected romantically.
