The Perfect Match finale was a whirlwind, with Dave Hand and Sophie Willett walking away as the winners for Season 4. While people are dying to know which couples are still together, Dave tells Chattr he didn’t consider faking his relationship on social media like some other contestants are for fame.
“When shows come out, people pretend to be together, or this and that. I’m not doing that,” Dave says.
“It’s hard for people, you know. You get emotionally involved with people, and it’s hard. You’re in the spotlight.”
Yikes. With so many of the cast posting content together, pretending their relationship is still the Perfect Match… was this a bit of shade thrown by Dave?
However, Dave also adds that all the cast members on Perfect Match were chasing clout, including him.
“I think we all are [clout chasers], we’ve all done other shows,” he says. The MAFS star says the cast knew there was a chance to get other benefits and opportunities by appearing on Perfect Match, along with a chance to find love.
“People [say] oh you want fame, or this or that. Who cares? This is the path that we’re on and it’s fun, we get to cool stuff with a chance of finding love. You never know where that’s gonna happen,” he explains.
“It’s just a fun life and it’s cool, so I’m enjoying it.”
Are any of the Perfect Match couples still together in real life?
It sounds like no Perfect Match couples stayed together after the show.
“There was one or two couples that tried to make it work, but… I think obviously distance is a key to everyone’s relationship,” Dave reveals.
“Even [if they’re both] in America, you know. So that definitely plays a part. Not only for me and Sophie, for everyone who even lives closer [together].”
Dave teases ‘juicy’ details about Chris and Natalie’s surprise relationship after Perfect Match
During the end credits of the Perfect Match finale, Natalie Cruz and Chris Dahlan revealed they were in a relationship after the show. The other cast members were a bit shocked, and Dave says there’s more juicy information to come out about their new coupling.
“Apparently they dated for a bit over Christmas and stuff [and they] spent Christmas together,” Dave spills.
“[There] are some juicy details that are about to come out… there’s definitely some stuff that’s going to go down after the show.”
According to Dave, there’s something about Natalie and Chris’ relationship that is “very, very, interesting”. Consider us intrigued!
