Jimmy Sotos made history as the first Perfect Match contestant who hasn’t previously been on a reality show, and it’s safe to say that his match Alison Ogden was happy about his inclusion in the series.
Jimmy, who was a successful influencer prior to heading into the Perfect Match villa, hit it off with Build the Band star Alison pretty quickly after entering in Episode 2.
The couple have been through some tests during their time in Mexico, but made it to the end as one of the strongest couples in the house.
Considering that Perfect Match Season 4 was filmed back in November 2025, some time has passed since the cast packed up and left Tulum. So, are Jimmy S and Alison still together? Read on to find out everything we know about their relationship status.
Are Jimmy Sotos and Alison still together outside of the villa?
Jimmy S and Alison are the only pair who may have survived Perfect Match as a couple. While all the other couples have gone their separate ways since filming wrapped, Jimmy and Alison told Netflix publication Tudum that they’re “figuring things out”. The couple told the publication that Jimmy visited Alison in Los Angeles and met her friends and family but after that, they decided to take some time out.
“We ended up pausing things for a bit with on-and-off communication, because he had a difficult time adjusting back to real life post-filming,” Alison said. Jimmy agreed, “I think the ‘post-villa depression’ was getting to me a little, so I went back to Chicago to be around family. That led to a little hiatus for us.”
When asked about their current status, they were a bit ambiguous, but confirmed that they weren’t officially together.
“We’re good now and still exploring our connection without any pressure, labels, or expectations,” Jimmy shared.
Alison added: “We do care about each other a lot,… We are figuring things out while not wanting to rush anything too fast. We fell hard pretty fast on the show and want to move forward at our pace now.”
Prior to the finale airing, the couple had been going absolutely nuts on social media, posting photos of them together outside the house. Most recently, they posted a photo of them walking around an outdoor mall together in Los Angeles, and captioned the carousel ‘La la land’. The mall is clearly not in Mexico, suggesting that they met up after filming wrapped.
On May 20, Jimmy and Alison shared a carousel of photos from their time on the show, and threw in some couple pics. However, it was the last photo that was the most intriguing — it showed Alison playing basketball in a residential setting, and it’s plainly clear that it wasn’t taken at the Perfect Match villa.
When one of Jimmy’s followers asked if his inclusion of the pic — which suggests they hung out after the show finished filming — was a spoiler, Alison replied by saying that her sister sent it to Jimmy before filming. Which still seems suss, because if Jimmy and Alison didn’t have anything going on, why would her sister be sending him a picture of her?
On top of that, some of the cast went live on TikTok on May 18 to chat about their time on the show, and, yep, you guessed it, Jimmy and Alison were both in the chat.
To add even more fuel to the fire, Jimmy used one of Alison’s songs as the audio for an Instagram story and grid post.

Alison originally had a spark with Million Dollar Secret‘s Nick Pellecchia and Love Island’s Yamen Sanders. However, it became clear that Jimmy was the man for her when he entered during Episode 2.
The couple had a relatively smooth ride until three new additions were let loose on the villa: Katherine Laprell, Kassy Castillo and Sophie Willett. All of the Perfect Match men said that Katherine was their number one choice and she chose Jimmy to take on her one on one date.
But Jimmy’s physical attraction to Katherine wasn’t enough to pull him away from Alison. In the end, he told Alison he wanted to follow his heart and chose to match with her.
