Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) has one of the most impressive success rates of any dating show when it comes to finding lasting love, and this year, five Farmers are hoping to meet their soulmate.
Farmer Jarrad, Farmer Dylan, Farmer Alex, Farmer Jason and Farmer Zac are all opening their hearts and their farms in the hopes of finding a love story like, uh, Thomas and Clarette. Or maybeCorey and Keeley.

Meet the 2026 Farmer Wants A Wife Farmers
This season promises a mix of ages and locations for our Farmer Wants a Wife Farmers, with the eldest Farmer being 41 and the youngest, 24.

Farmer Jarrad, 41, Taylorville, South Australia

Jarradis an almond farmer who describes himself as a “caring and thoughtful” man. He is the proud dad of two young children, aged 12 and 9, and says he’s open to having more children in the future.
Farmer Dylan, 24, Cherry Gardens, South Australia

Dylan is a sheep farmer who describes himself as a “pretty cruisy fella” and is also a competitive rodeo cowboy who enjoys riding horses and chasing calves in his spare time. He’s looking for an assertive partner who knows what they want. Early prediction: Dylan will be one of the heartthrobs of the season, given the slow-mo motorbike rides his promo is showing.
Farmer Alex, 28, Kin Kin, Queensland

Another heartthrob, beef and mushroom farmer Alex, describes himself as a “nerd at heart” and is looking for someone artistic, fun, and a bit cheeky. While he wants kids one day, he’s warned future Ladies that he’s not going to be ready for them for a few more years.
Farmer Jason, 37, Coolabunia, Queensland

A dairy farmer from Queensland, Farmer Jason is a rodeo-loving, reformer pilates-going, netballer, who’s known as a gentle giant and is looking for someone fun, bubbly, and kind-hearted. He has two kids and would ideally have “maybe two or three more”, saying he doesn’t mind if his future partner already has kids.

Farmer Zac is an apple farmer who describes himself as a “big foodie” who loves to bake and cook. He describes himself as loyal and reliable and says he will bend over backwards for his future partner, saying he values important conversations, honest communication, and physical touch.
Who is Farmer John?
Each year, the Farmers for the following season are announced once the current season ends. From there, interested applicants apply for the Farmer they’re most keen on, and the pool is gradually whittled down until only those who make the cut remain.
Cattle Farmer John was originally shortlisted for the season, but he was the only one cut from being an original suitor on FWAW 2025. Will he show up later as an intruder? We’ll have to wait and see!

FWAW 2026 premieres on Channel 7 and 7Plus on Monday, June 8 at 7:30pm.
Who are the Farmer Wants a Wife 2026 Ladies?
There are 39 Ladies hoping to find true love on FWAW 2026. All the Farmers have a pool of eight Ladies to pick from, aside from Farmer Jason who has seven.
The Ladies ages range from 21 to 40 years old and among them are real estate agent, environmental scientist, and yoga teacher. You can find out more about the Ladies looking for love this season here.
