Five new Farmers have saddled up for the ride of their lives in Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) 2026, and love is already in the air. This season, Farmers Dylan, Jason, Alex, Zac and Jarrad are looking to ditch the solo life, each welcoming a group of gorgeous Ladies to their farms in the hopes of finding “the one.”
And honestly, it’s not hard to see why the Ladies are keen to give country life a go. With sweeping pastures, golden paddocks, and storybook homesteads, Farmer Wants a Wife might just be the dreamiest dating show on TV.
So, where exactly does all this rural romance take place? Here’s what to know about where Farmer Wants a Wife 2026 is filmed.
The luxury estate where FWAW is filmed
While each Farmer’s property plays a role, seasoned FWAW fans know the real heart of the action lies at The Convent — a luxury boutique hotel nestled in the wine-lovers paradise of Pokolbin, located in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales.
The Convent is a luxury boutique hotel that’s nestled within the wine region of Polkobin. As well as a hotel, the property also offers Pepper Tree Winery and a hatted restaurant called Circa 1876.

And, if you’re hoping to stay at the beautiful location where Farmer Wants a Wife is filmed, then you’re in luck. The Convent has a range of rooms, including a deluxe room, a superior room, a garden suite and a premier room. Rooms start from around $250 a night.

The Deluxe Rooms are described as “the perfect place to watch the sunset and sample a fine Hunter Valley wine.
The picturesque property features a gorgeous outdoor pool and a large tennis court. There are also bikes available for guests who want to explore the grounds. Of course, one of The Convent’s most in-demand features is its hatted restaurant, Circa 1876.

It’s located in a historic cottage on the picturesque grounds of Roscrea Estate, surrounded by rich, produce-filled kitchen gardens and a chicken coop. The menu includes gourmet fare, including scallop ceviche, charred pork belly and seared lamb fillet.
Does the Farmer Wants a Wife 2026 cast stay at The Convenant?
No, The Convenant isn’t the only filming location used on Farmer Wants a Wife. While the cast members are initially located at The Convenant, fans of the show will know that once the Farmer picks his Ladies, he takes them home to his own farm, which is where the real charm of Farmer Wants a Wife happens.
While we’re yet to meet the Ladies, we do know that Dylan’s group will be headed to his farm located in Cherry Gardens, South Australia. Farmer Jason’s group will stay at his Coolabunia, Queensland dairy farm, where they may have the opportunity to meet his 11-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter.
Farmer Alex’s group will go to KinKin in Queensland and Farmer Jarrad’s are headed to Taylorville in South Australia. If there are any city lovers among Farmer Zac’s group of Ladies, then they’re in luck, because his farm is in Forest Range, which is only about 40 minutes from Adelaide CBD.

Last year’s Farmer included Farmer Corey, a fourth-generation farmer running a mixed-crop operation of beans, hay, and cotton, who took his Ladies to his Biloela, Queensland. Farmer Tom’s Ladies went to his sheep farm in Borambola, New South Wales.
Over in Kimba, South Australia, Farmer Thomas bought his group of women back to his broad-acre farm where he grows wheat, barley, and lentils. And in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Farmer Jarrad’s group of potential loves headed to his 5,500-acre farm with sheep and hemp.
Honestly, it’s enough to make us want to pack up and escape to the country ourselves. We can’t wait to see how the love stories unfold this season!
