Wyatt has truly had enough on Wednesday night’s The Block as he’s stormed off over an argument with his partner Chantel over *checks notes* an unpackaged bed head.
The saga began when Chantel sent Wyatt to pick up a bed head, but he was left annoyed when it wasn’t inside packaging, which meant if he took it back to site in his truck’s ‘dirty tray’ in the rain, it would be destroyed.
“I’m not f**king in the mood for this today,” he ranted at Chantel on the phone. “If someone wastes my time, it really pi**es me off,” he said in confessional.
After returning in a huff, Wyatt was soon given his marching orders to leave again. “Chantel said I was being rude to her because she couldn’t organise the bed to be covered,” he vented. “I’m not in the mood to f**king be here and I’m leaving.”
Despite his tradies trying to convince him to stay to work, Wyatt decided to go to the gym for the day instead of helping Chantel build their room. “She can build the house herself!” he said in an expletive-filled rant.
Chantel was a bit vague about the moment. “It makes me a bit upset, so it wasn’t the greatest conversation,” she said in confessional. Wyatt’s temporary absence meant that Chantel had to do the walk-through with Shelley Craft and Scott Cam on her own. “Where is he?” Scott asked. “He needed a timeout,” Chantel replied.
The Cursio brothers continued to ask “Where is Wyatt?” as a car montage played of the PT blasting pop divas in the car as he drove to the gym.
This isn’t the first time Wyatt has fled the work site for the gym. The same thing happened when he had a toothache and decided to ditch his house for the gym. This is one of a handful of moments that have made Wyatt one of this year’s most divisive contestants among fans. But what is Wyatt really like?

When Rick and Tayla were asked if Chantel and Wyatt regularly fought away from the cameras, they agreed this wasn’t a common occurrence. “No, they didn’t [fight] at home, and if they did fight on the set, we didn’t see any of that because we’re too busy doing our own stuff,” Rick said.
Rick did have an issue with Wyatt making a jab at his daughter this week, saying Spence would be ‘doing most of the work’ on site. “For Wyatt to say that, he doesn’t do any of the work anyway. The Cursios do all the work for him,” he said, as Tayla joked about his tantrum on Wednesday.
“He probably kicked his little pinky toe on the table and then cracked the shits and left,” Tayla said.
The team addressed Wyatt’s overall portrayal on The Block. “He’s dug a big hole for himself, Wyatt. The big young kid trapped in a 30-year-old’s body,” Rick said. “I think from the way he carried on about his sore tooth… smelling wet farts and stuff. They edit it to whatever they edit it to, but he’s not coming across…” Rick trailed off, as Tayla added “too strong.”
Rick clarified that his edit doesn’t fully reflect Wyatt as a person. “He’s a nice bloke. But so far, he’s getting some criticism. I mean, we’re all getting smashed on socials. Tayla, in particular, but social media is social media.”
In an interview with Chattr, Lisa said that Chantel and Wyatt were gym-obsessed away from cameras. “House Two, their priority is going to the gym,” said Lisa. “I think it’s safe to say if House Two didn’t have the Cursios, they probably wouldn’t have finished a room.”
Chantel has referred to this claim as ‘bulls**t’ and in an interview with Chattr, she spoke warmly about Wyatt and their relationship away from the reality show.
“We have such a beautiful relationship. Wyatt is an amazing stepdad to my little kiddies and they’re so obsessed with him just like I am. We really encourage each other to grow and lift each other up, which I haven’t experienced in previous relationships,” she said.
“We have big plans for our future; we really would love to win The Block, buy a house close to the beach and travel with the kiddies.”
