It’s the day after an explosive second Dinner Party on Married At First Sight (MAFS) and fans are still recovering from what went down.
While the Dinner Party didn’t begin too dramatically — apart from Rebecca and Steve clashing at drinks — it quickly went downhill when Brook made a surprise appearance, which was quickly followed by her shooting barbs at the brides around her, with Stella and Alissa copping most of the flak.
Speaking to Stella this morning, the bride seemed blindsided as to why Brook had singled her out. “To be honest, to this day, I can’t figure out if she had — almost like — a personal vendetta on me since the red and green flag event on Tuesday,” Stella told Chattr.
“I know people around me saying, obviously, you know, she expected to be in the best possible position, being the best, the prettiest, the smartest… and she probably felt challenged in a way. That’s what people say around me,” she notes.
But Stella says Brook’s outburst probably wasn’t about her. “I can only speculate that she was probably just not happy within herself, and needed an outlet. You know, I feel like sometimes when people are so full of negativity inside, they need to put that negativity somewhere outside… so I feel like I was a target to alleviate her own [problems].”

Looking back at the Dinner Party, Stella added she really couldn’t think of anything she had done to make Brook say what she did, stressing that her conscience was clear. “I do feel proud of myself,” she revealed, adding that she’s glad she didn’t lower herself other brides’ behaviour.
Where do Stella and Brook stand now?
After the Dinner Party, Stella says that Brook reached out to her and sent her an apology. “At the time, I sent her a beautiful message back, and I said look, I don’t hold grudges. I wish you nothing but the best… but you know, it was just that one interaction.” Stella said that Brook also messaged her after the final vows, but she never responded.
“I think what I saw yesterday at the table, you know, she was challenged in a way. She was challenged. She was challenged and she exposed herself. And I don’t know how she’s gonna deal with that. I think at the time, she was probably riding on her high horse, you know, like, I’m, ‘the it girl. I’m the hot girl’. And it’s probably the universe giving her a bit of a reality check.”
However, another source tells Chattr that Stella and Brook’s feud was encouraged for ratings and the women are on good terms now.
“Stella and Brook made up after the show and don’t harbour any hard feelings for each other, so don’t always believe what you see on TV!” The insider said.
Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 airs Sunday – Wednesday on Channel 9 and 9Now.
