Scott reveals he'd do MAFS again for a 'woman like Stella'

In a new interview, Scott McCristal has spilled that he would do Married at First Sight (MAFS) all over again if he was guaranteed to meet “a woman like Stella”.

The 33-year-old groom parted ways with his bride, Gia Fleur, after viewing footage of her flirting with her back-up match and later, lying about returning to Melbourne.

When asked if he would ever do MAFS again, Scott responded: “If I knew I’d have a woman like Stella and I knew I was going to have a forever partner, I’d think about it. But I really can’t say I’d do it again considering what I experienced.”

Scott’s soft spot for Stella probably won’t come as a big surprise to fans who saw the two hit it off during feedback week, after which Gia became very defensive.

Gia previously accused Stella of flirting with Scott

In previously unseen footage shown on MAFS: After The Dinner Party, Gia seemed to display some jealousy after Scott’s pub session with Stella.

“How was it with the girl that flirts with my man? How was it?” she asked Scott, to which he responded, “She wasn’t flirting.”

In response to a producer asking Gia if she was upset with Stella, she said: “I don’t have beef with Stella, but I’ve never addressed that she has flirted with Scott here and there, and she did call me a ‘dog’ a few times.”

During Feedback Week, Scott memorably opened up to Stella about the pressure to say to Gia that he loved her. “I feel like I can be honest with Scott,” Stella said to producers. “I think that she needs that external drama. The fact that she’s almost forcing him to say ‘I love you’ while in the experiment. All she’s doing is deflecting.”

Several fans clocked the pair’s chemistry, with one popular comment in response to their interaction reading, “He appears so much calmer around Stella, not tip towing around his words waiting to get in trouble, like he normally does,” and another, “Why do these two make a good couple?”
