MAFS 2026 real reason danny move in bec

The Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 cast have started to go rogue on TikTok while the show is still airing, so viewers are able to get their hands on some juicy secrets that didn’t make it into the final cut. Danny Hewitt made a big splash at the most recent Dinner Party by saying he would be “demasculinated” if he moved into a woman’s house, but there might have been more to the story.

In a TikTok filmed during Homestays, Danny revealed what Bec Zacharia’s house was actually like. Although it’s a multi-million-dollar house with just a $97K mortgage in an affluent city in Adelaide (as the bride repeatedly said), it also happens to be under a very busy flight path.

While the couple were enjoying a charcuterie board in the backyard, the groom couldn’t help but make some jokes. “Nice and peaceful there, isn’t it?” he asked, before delving into laughter and pointing out all the planes flying ahead.

“It’s a flight path,” Bec replied, seriously.

“Get a good night sleep at least though, wouldn’t you? You wouldn’t wanna be a night shift worker living here, would ya? F**k me! F**king hell!”

The Brit then cut to a video that showed a plane landing on a runway, calling it Bec’s “back garden”.

MAFS fans go wild over Danny’s video

It seems as though Danny’s banter and sense of humour has won over even the most discerning MAFS fans. His comment section was filled with people who loved his plane joke, including one fan who changed her tune.

“I don’t like you but this is pretty funny,” she admitted.

“Danny, I hope you know that the only reason why millions of us are watching this show is because of how f**king hilarious you and Bec are,” another added.

“To be fair, I would have said the same thing. It would be like living in an airport terminal. I’d probably be walking around the house, ‘Flight QA112 clear for boarding’,” a third chimed in.

“The whole of Adelaide is a flight path,” another remarked.

“I would be fuming. But this is so funny lol,” a fan added.

Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 airs Sunday – Wednesday on Channel 9 and 9Now.
