MAFS 2026 groom Chris Robinson

Married At First Sight Australia (MAFS) 2026 has welcomed a same-sex couple. Intruder groom, Chris Robinson, is one of the latest participants to join the cast.

Chris is a self-confessed neat freak and farmer, and is looking for a masculine man who isn’t afraid to get muddy on the farm. So MAFS experts, please, for the love of god, find Chris his perfect match!

Keep reading to find out everything else we know about Chris.

Who is Chris Robinson, and what does he do?

Chris is 38 years old, originally from Queensland, and was raised on a cattle farm by his mum. After losing his dad, he had to learn resilience young. Chris also admits in his Channel 9 bio that coming “out” as a gay man in the country wasn’t easy, so he packed his life up and headed to Sydney.

Chris is an entrepreneur who owns his own personal training business, Body Skin Soul, in Redfern, and manages a farm in New South Wales. Talk about dreamy!

Not only is Chris kind and generous, but he is also a self-confessed neat freak. He also admits he tends to avoid tough conversations and knows he’s not perfect. Some people could learn a thing or two from Chris, that’s for sure. We love a man who takes accountability!

Naturally, we had to scroll through his Instagram, and with almost 10,000 followers, he seems to love the slow life on the farm, adventure, and animals.

Chris admits that in the past, he attracted men he had to ‘fix’

Chris admits that he has attracted the wrong type of men in the past, and that men only want him for his success. Not only that, but he’s also been known to be “Mr Fix it.” Now, he’s putting an end to being the fixer, and looking for his life partner.

What is Chris looking for in a partner?

After three long-term relationships, Chris knows exactly what he’s looking for. Chris wants a kind and generous masculine man, and he wants the best of both worlds. Someone to not only join him in getting muddy on the farm, but someone who loves getting dressed up for a night out.

Who is Chris’ husband-to-be?

Well, we are hoping that the MAFS experts have created a match in heaven, as he is matched with a Colin Firth look-alike, Sam Stanton, a 34-year-old spin studio owner from Adelaide.

The two seemed to have hit it off straight away at the wedding ceremony. In a recent interview with Chattr, Sam said he was instantly attracted to Chris’s blue eyes once he turned around at the alter.

“I turned around, stranger, blue eyes — great,” he said.

We are so excited to see their relationship unfold throughout the experiment; we surely do have high hopes!

Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 airs Sunday – Wednesday on Channel 9 and 9Now.
