MAFS 2026 Alissa David Conor Grass is greener instagram

Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 viewers were shocked when Alissa Fay admitted to husband David Momoh she had exchanged Instagram details with her backup match Conor Loughman. Sparks were flying between Alissa and the Ultimate Tag star during the Grass is Greener task, which hurt David deeply.

By the end of their fight, David and Alissa stormed out and removed their wedding rings, saying they were “done”. However, an insider close to production tells us there was some producer involvement in this storyline.

“I know that the producers gave all of the alternate matches the Instagram handles of the brides, and all of them were asked to add them,” the source tells Chattr.

“So every single alternate match followed the brides on Instagram as soon as the Grass is Greener challenge was over.”

While it seemed that Alissa overstepped during the task with her flirtatious nature, the insider confirms the bride didn’t pursue a relationship with Conor.

“Alissa and Conor never spoke again after the experiment,” they claim.

David thinks Alissa was ’emotionally cheating’

During an interview with Chattr, David reflected on Alissa’s actions and agreed that exchanging socials with another potential partner was akin to emotional cheating.

“There’s some things I’ll never speak on to the public and vice versa for her, but yeah, there’s more context,” he admitted.

“[But] for me, that was wrong. Like the fact that she did that,” David added.

David also said he was unhappy with the way Alissa tried to “lie” to him about the task, consistently describing the task as “networking”, even though she knew exactly what the Grass is Greener challenge represented.

“I wish she was just up front and said, this was a task, and I wanted to explore my option[s],” the groom explained. “If you’re gonna lie to my face… it wasn’t networking and friends, and you knew it was the grass is greener.”

The groom hated the part where Alissa jokingly told Conor to drop his trousers, and was shocked when watching the video footage.

“It’s the excuses for me. She was networking, apparently. I mean, when I watched it back, telling someone to drop their dacks, that didn’t seem like networking for me,” he said.

These two are no longer together on screen, but an insider told Chattr they make it to Final Vows. If you want to know what happens between the two, we have all the MAFS Final Vows spoilers here.
