MAFS' Jamie spills details about Cara Delevingne sliding into her DMs: 'A real girls' girl'

Contestants are required to hand over control of their social media accounts to Channel Nine while the show is airing, and Jamie tells Chattr her inbox was inundated with messages.

“When you get your account back, you don’t really know who’s followed you that’s famous, unless someone tells you, because you miss all these notifications when people first follow you,” Jamie explains.

“I always make an effort to go through my message requests, and it’s a f**king impossible task sometimes. But I happened to see Cara’s message, like maybe over a month after having my account, and I remember being like, ‘How did I miss that she’s following me?'”

Jamie couldn’t believe Cara had taken the time to message her, but was grateful for the star’s support after what she had gone through with Dave Hand on MAFS.

“It was so lovely of her to message, obviously she was being like a real girls’ girl there, just to send a supporting message and make me feel great in that moment. I really respect Cara for reaching out, even though she’s obviously someone who is so huge, and she reached out to little old me, who went and married a stranger.”

Has anyone else slid into Jamie’s DMs after MAFS?

Just like Jacob Elordi complimenting Carina Mirabile on her outfit at a Sydney premiere, it seems Jamie is on the celebrity radar as well! She tells Chattr that no other celebrity on Cara’s level has reached out, but there are influencers she has followed for a while who have now followed her back.

“I love my girls, I’m just patiently waiting for Indy Clinton to notice me,” she says.

Her DMs can get pretty clogged up at times, so fingers crossed Jamie hasn’t missed any other important messages. “It’s so wild, it depends on how active I am on stories, because then it can be 100s [of messages]. I’ve had stories where I had over 1000 replies to a singular story,” she spills.

Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan recently visited the MAFS apartments in Sydney and called them a “cultural monument”, so perhaps she’ll be linking up with Jamie next.
