Love Triangle Season 3 has provided all sorts of drama, from a former MAFS groom’s redemption arc not quite going to plan, to a love triangle that saw all three people trying to date each other.
One woman looking for love is Chloe Hannigan, who was putting herself out there again after her ex-fiancée abruptly broke up with her months before their wedding, leaving her heartbroken.
But what Chloe wasn’t expecting was to be thrown into a chaotic triangle that saw all participants trying to date each other, before having another co-star express his interest in her.
But first, let’s get to know the girl behind Love Triangle’s most chaotic… love square.
Who is Love Triangle’s Chloe?
Chloe is a 27-year-old nurse manager from Sydney with multiple degrees under her belt and an impressive healthcare resume. Chloe describes herself as ambitious and is looking for a partner who can match her energy and appreciate her drive.
Chloe appears to have a love of travelling and music, with her Instagram documenting her globetrotting over the years, as well as some cover songs.
Chloe is bisexual and asked her Love Triangle matches not to identify their gender when she was texting them so she could be surprised when meeting them IRL. “I am smack bang 50-50,” she said in her confessional. “I could go either way.”
Chloe’s ‘unexpected’ Love Triangle dilemma: What happens when the whole triangle wants to date?
Chatting with ‘E’ and ‘B’, Chloe ended up choosing ‘B’ initially, otherwise known as Beck, with the two cementing a solid friendship in the hopes it’d turn romantic. Beck initially said Chloe wasn’t her usual type and that she usually dates women who are more masculine, which left Chloe initially hurt. Over the first two weeks together however, they grew closer and worked on their ‘slow burn’ connection but then ‘E’ aka Emma entered the picture and things got, well, messy.
With both Chloe and Beck interested in Emma, and Emma interested in them both, Love Triangle had its first situation where all sides of the triangle were actively trying to date each other.
Speaking with Chattr, Chloe said that she felt blindsided by the whole situation.
“[It was] completely unexpected. It was not even something I had considered going into the show, so when it happened, I was very blindsided, and initially, I just didn’t know how to process it,” she shared. “I was like, this is weird, because I felt almost like a hypocrite by being like, ‘I can get to know you both’, but then I felt a certain way about them getting to know each other. And then I was like, ‘Hang on. That’s not really very fair.’
“Three women living under one roof with feelings, emotions, and big hearts, it was extremely challenging to navigate in a way that kept everyone happy,” Chloe continued. “And we weren’t all happy, we were struggling, but overall we navigated it as well as we could have.”

Another surprising shock of the season was when Chloe’s co-star Bernie admitted to cameras he wasn’t interested in anyone in his Triangle… in fact, he only had eyes for Chloe.
As things continued to go pear-shaped with Emma and Beck, Bernie managed to slip Chloe a secret letter confessing his feelings before the two shared a secret kiss in the most recent episode of the show.
“When I first got that letter, that was the first time I knew he had any feelings towards me. So it left me very confused, and I think that’s why I wanted to have a chat with him at that final party… to look him in the eyes and ask him what his intentions are, and to ascertain if he actually meant what he wrote on that letter,” Chloe told Chattr. “I think that Bernie coming in was just another facet to this ‘Love Square’ I had to consider in a very short period of time.”

What is Love Triangle about?
Created by the same team behind the smash hit, MAFS, Love Triangle follows five singles who are set up with two online dating matches. Similar to Love Is Blind, the show is meant to foster a connection first before the singles set eyes on each other.
After a period of online talking, they choose one match to move in with to see if they can make the romantic connection work IRL. However, the relationship will be challenged when the other match is brought into the living situation, with the main single then having to decide which suitor they want to pursue.
