Fresh off their engagement late last year, Love Island’s Jessie Wynter and Will Young are already dreaming up their wedding and have shared the exciting details with Chattr.
Will proposed to Jessie in her home state of Tasmania on December 9, 2025, in a picturesque location overlooking the ocean.
“I was very much set on the fact that Jessie loved the sea, the mountains, and I was very adamant. She loves the nature side. So I know with the proposal, we wanted that as minimalistic as possible, but with the beauty of the nature behind sort of thing, I think that came out pretty good,” he told Chattr.
The couple said that although they’ve got a lot on their plate at the moment, as they’re launching a new business, they’ve managed to find some time to start planning their wedding. However, Jessie said they were still struggling to decide where to hold it, because she’s from Australia and Will is from the UK.
“We’ve got a lot of brainstorming to do, because obviously we’ve got to weigh up Australia, UK logistics, whether it could even be a destination wedding, as in somewhere kind of in between. These are all options that we are kind of weighing up.”

Regardless of where they decide to hold it, Jessie said she’s thrown herself into the aesthetic side of the wedding.
“I’ve got the wedding mood board, the Pinterest board with my friends and everything. So we’ve started to visualise it, but the exact place where it’s happened hasn’t sparked in our brain yet.”
While the exact location is undetermined, Jessie knows exactly what she’s trying to achieve.
“I always know that I want something quite simple but beautiful, and I’ve always envisioned my wedding to be outdoors instead of in a church. So I’m very much like, I’m a Tazzy girl. We love being outside in nature, and I feel like nature is the most beautiful thing.
“So I think it will definitely be, like, simple outdoors, really soaking up the environment, like the environment will be the feature. However, we don’t know where. And just getting all the family together, I guess that’s going to be the big challenge.”
Jessie and Will are launching a new business
Jessie and Will have plenty to juggle as they plan the wedding and launch a new business. The couple are rolling out a meal kit business that supports local farmers in the UK, and is hoping to bring the initiative to Australia in the future.
“Obviously, Will has a sheep farm. So starting in the UK, we really want to branch out and do the same business in Australia, and it’s roast dinner meal kits. However, with it, we’re going to be backing local farmers as much as possible,” she explained.
Jessie told Chattr that they’re hoping to launch in a few months, if everything goes to plan.
“This is our first time doing business, and we’re trying to break into that food space, which is crazy, by the way, going straight into your first business, and it being a food brand, lots for us to learn.
“So fingers crossed we get it launched by our goal launch date, so we’re going to go back to the UK and be working hard at that.”
And with their latest venture already shaping up, a proper roast dinner could very well make its way onto the wedding menu.
