Yana and Kye have made it clear that their recent break-up was messy, and the Sydney tradie has now revealed whether he actually physically cheated on her before coming on Love Island Australia 2025.
The exes are giving their relationship another go after Kye was flung into the Love Island Australia villa during episode 5, catching an unsuspecting Yana off guard. While Kye initially hooked up with Yana’s friend Lacey, they’ve since rekindled their spark. But things have taken a turn with Kye being chosen to go to Hotel Amor with the new bombshell, Emma.
When Yana found out that Kye had left for Hotel Amor with Emma, she broke down in tears, telling the girls that “he’s going to mess up again”.
Now, Yana has revealed whether emotional or physical cheating was involved in their last breakup.
Did Kye cheat on Yana before Love Island Australia 2025?
In an interview on the Love Island Australia podcast, Officially Unpacked, Yana explained that Kye didn’t physically cheat on her, but she caught him messaging other girls behind her back.
“He didn’t physically cheat that I know of, but it was a messaging thing, but it had happened quite a few times,” she said.
“The time that I broke up with him, I pretty much said to him, ‘If this happens again, I’m walking away, which is exactly what I did.”
“And I think me saying that the last time he did it is really what got me to put my foot down and be like, I’m actually done, like I’m walking away from this because I’m not copping it anymore.”
However, Yana added that if she hadn’t ended the relationship over the texting incident, there was a strong chance it would have eventually led to physical cheating.
“But our relationship was so toxic by the end of it that it was just falling apart. And it was a matter of time before something like that happened.”
