Home and Away viewers are in for a treat, as the storyline involving fan-favourites Darryl ‘Brax’ Braxton (Stephen Peacocke) and Ricky Sharpe (Bonnie Sveen) appears to include a visit to Summer Bay. The pair’s return was announced by Channel Seven, with the network noting their storyline would take place in Western Australia as part of their partnership with Tourism Western Australia.
Scenes involving Brax and Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) were filmed back in mid-October, with one fan sharing photos of the pair by the Elizabeth Key Bell Tower and another claiming the crew also filmed in Eagle Bay.
However, it looks like Brax, Ricky, and their son Casey will be making a quick visit to Summer Bay. A fan shared a video of the trio filming a scene out at Palm Beach on November 6 to Instagram. In the scene, Brax and Ricky look extremely happy as they chat with the young boy and also share a kiss.
Naturally, this sparked discussion in a popular Home and Away Facebook group, with one fan writing: “Someone saw Stephen Peacocke, Bonnie Sveen and a child actor that I assume is playing Casey Jr. filming at Palm Beach this week. I thought they were only back for the WA storyline but obviously not. What do you think they are back in Summer Bay for?”
A fan replied and said it was “awesome” to see Brax and Ricky back, theorising the pair “filmed a few extra scenes”.
“Maybe it’s like a memory scene or something showing their journey away from the bay as Casey Jr. grows,” another guessed.
“Maybe a character witness for Tane, or there to run his business to help him out for a while,” a third said.
“Brax does have a connection to the Bay still, his brother Casey is buried there. Maybe they are back in the Bay to show young Casey his uncle’s grave?” another pointed out.
However, a sceptical fan noted that Brax and Ricky could be filming something else rather than scenes for Home and Away.
“It could be a promo for the WA stuff. It’s funny, everyone was very clear that they would NOT be in Summer Bay, but there they are. Perhaps the police car gives a clue? Brought there by them for some reason?”

Stephen and Bonnie were also seen filming on Palm Beach on November 11. A CelebTime video of Stephen waving and saying hello to fans racked up over 368,000 views, with hundreds of excited comments.
One viewer elaborated on his surprise appearance, saying: “[Bonnie] was also there, just didn’t get to see her filming ’cause we were watching other stuff at the time. [They were filming the] promo for the special event in WA with them.”.
The show usually films about five to six months in advance, so all will be revealed in April 2026.
