Another Farmer Wants a Wife couple has called it quits, with Maya and Zac confirming they have gone their separate ways after finding love on the reality dating show.
Maya and Zac shared the news in an emotional video posted to their socials, looking back on some of the couple’s sweetest moments throughout their Farmer Wants a Wife journey.
Alongside the montage of memories, the couple explained that their connection had been strong from the very beginning.
“From the beginning, our connection was strong. We then became each other’s best friends, which led us into an amazing relationship,” they wrote.
However, the couple ultimately found that making their long-distance relationship work proved more difficult than they had hoped.
“Navigating our relationship while being long-distance proved to be no easy journey,” they continued. “The timing for us to make that next move wasn’t right, and unfortunately, this shifted the relationship. We have therefore decided to go our separate ways.”
Despite their split, they made it clear there is no animosity between the former couple, with both looking back fondly on the relationship they shared.
“We are so incredibly grateful to Farmer Wants a Wife for bringing us together. We will both cherish the memories and experiences we shared forever,” they said.
“We still have an immense amount of love and respect for each other, and definitely zero bad blood.”
“Forever grateful for all the laughs and smiles, what an incredible experience,” Zac commented on the post.
The split comes after fans watched Maya and Zac’s relationship develop on Farmer Wants a Wife, where their connection ultimately blossomed into a romance.
In August of last year, the pair shut down pregnancy rumours while on the Logies red carpet.
“I am not pregnant,” Maya told New Idea. “I made a silly joke, I quoted Kylie Jenner and I was like, ‘19 weeks today’, and people took it quite literally. Fair enough. But we are not with child.”
While their relationship may not have gone the distance, it seems the pair are leaving things on good terms and with plenty of happy memories from their time together.
