While Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW)‘s Logan was a front-runner for Farmer Jason‘s heart right up until the finale, viewers watched him wrestle with doubts about their relationship because of their age gap.
While it seemed to be the main obstacle in their relationship, Logan has revealed to Chattr that she had no idea that Farmer Jason had any issue with their nine-year age difference.
“It was a surprise. We never had that conversation. I thought it wasn’t an issue, he never said it to me. I didn’t even actually think of it as an issue. So I was unaware, completely,” she told Chattr.
One of the turning points in their relationship, from a viewer’s perspective, was when Logan, 28, was shocked that Farmer Jason, 37, didn’t know what the karaoke video game Singstar was. Jason then shared his concerns in a producer led interview.
“Sometimes in our conversations, you can sort of tell that she’s yeah, obviously younger and different generation,” he said.
However, Logan told Chattr that even at that point, Farmer Jason didn’t give her any hints that he was worried.
“I didn’t think that was because of the age difference. I thought it was more so that he just didn’t have SingStar,” she laughed.
Reflecting on their relationship, Logan, who’s a mum of two, said she doesn’t think the difference in their ages would have affected their relationship negatively.
“I don’t think [it would have been a problem] at all,” she said. “I think I am very mature, but also, I don’t think that would have been an issue, even if we weren’t [of similar maturity].”
“I’m completely different to how I am when I have my kids and when I’m like without them. I think he just didn’t really give me a chance to show him that side of me,” she added.
Logan reveals why she never felt like a front-runner on FWAW
While many viewers believed Logan had the strongest connection with Farmer Jason out of all the Ladies, the FWAW contestant told Chattr it was obvious to her that his strongest connection was actually with Poppy.
“I never thought I was the front-runner,” she told Chattr. “I, for sure, could tell that he was more into Poppy just like the whole time. It’s pretty much a gut feeling after seeing, like, little things that you just notice.”
Logan explained that throughout the season, Farmer Jason made subtle gestures that led her to believe he was more interested in Poppy.
“He would just gravitate to her around the farm. Like if we were both sitting there, he would just gravitate more to Poppy, or he seemed to care a lot more about what Poppy thought.”
Logan told Chattr that she thinks Farmer Jason and Poppy make a “great couple”.
“They got on great from what I saw, and she’s amazing. So even though she didn’t want children, she’s amazing, and she’s way more than that, so, I understand why he’d pick her,” she said.
