Fans believe this Farmer Wants A Wife contestant is a paid actor

Remember Emma from Farmer Wants A Wife 2020, who was in the running for Farmer Nick’s heart? According to one fan, she may have made an appearance on First Dates Australia years prior to the show. 

“One week ago Season 3 Episode 2 of First Dates Australia was available to watch on 7Plus. Emma was on this episode, plus another and her persona and behaviour was entirely different to what we have seen on Farmer Wants A Wife,” a fan theorised in a Facebook fan group.

“I just wonder, was she acting then or now or both? I’m thinking a planted actor in both.”

Are Farmer Wants A Wife contestants paid actors?

Some people were sceptical, saying it didn’t look anything like FWAW’s Emma — but it wasn’t long before others started sharing some very juicy secrets about the casting process.

And folks, buckle up, because these secrets are wild!

“I had a friend go on FWAW in one [of the] first few seasons. Back then the girls were actually genuine applicants… the ‘Farmers’ [were a] different story. Her ‘Farmer’ wasn’t actually a farmer; he was scouted and had no interest in being on FWAW,” one person claimed. “Think both the men and women of the show now are scouted and the whole thing is scripted.”

Another said she had a friend whose son had been contacted by producers. 

“I have a friend whose young son has been approached the last three years to see if he wants to go on the show,” she spilled. 

Is Farmer Wants A Wife’s Clarette an actor?

One viewer floated the theory that current ‘villain’ Clarette may also be planted to cause some drama. 

“Same with Clarette, I bet my bottom dollar that she is also an actor,” the fan guessed.

“Yep, just put in there to spice things up,” another agreed.

However, since Chattr uncovered a massive spoiler (look away if you don’t want to ruin the show), it’s unlikely Clarette is an actor… seeing as she ends up with Farmer Thomas!!! The pair are said to be living together on Thomas’ farm, much to the disappointment of fans.
