Farmer Wants A Wife’s Miranda Chopping has just gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Joshua Brown — and he proposed in Paris!
The couple has been vacationing in Europe for the past few weeks and the big moment came as a huge surprise to Miranda. Joshua planned the Paris proposal on a rooftop overlooking the Eiffel Tower, but he hoodwinked Miranda by telling her they had to wear blindfolds for an escape room.
“He told me we were going to an escape room at the Eiffel Tower and then getting professional photos afterwards, so I didn’t suspect a thing,” Miranda told Woman’s Day.
“They put masks on us and took us up in a dodgy little elevator… while I still had my blindfold on, our song started playing. That was the moment my stomach just dropped and I thought, ‘Oh my God.’”
Miranda described the proposal as “literally like a dream. Josh was standing there, the Eiffel Tower was right in front of us, and I just couldn’t stop smiling at him. I’d never seen anything like it. It honestly felt like something out of a movie.”
The FWAW star is yet to post the news on Instagram but in one Paris post, Miranda does appear to have a large ring on her left hand. Josh commented on the carousel: “I [heart emoji] Paris now a little bit more too.”
Josh was chuffed that he managed to pull the proposal off. “I had her fooled all day,” he said. “When we finally got up there and everything came together, it was insane. It was pretty much a dream come true.”
The YouTuber picked Paris for obvious reasons. “It just made sense. It is the City of Love after all,” he admitted. Another clear pick was the design of the engagement ring.
“I knew the style because she’d always wanted the Hailey Bieber ring,” Josh said. “I went to five different places, and the last place had the perfect one.”
Spoiler: it ain’t small. “I absolutely love it. I’m never taking it off,” added Miranda.
When did Farmer Wants A Wife’s Miranda start dating Josh?
Miranda admits that the couple has moved quick, but when you know, you know! “It’s pretty quick, but since the day we met, we literally haven’t spent a night apart. I think when you know what you want, you know. We both wanted this, so I felt like there was no reason to wait,” Miranda said.
“We both want to move into the next stage of our lives together, so it seemed like the perfect time.”
In the exclusive, Woman’s Day claimed they met in May 2025, but this timeline would mean they started dating before Farmer Wants A Wife 2026, which was filmed in late 2025.
However, Miranda clarified to Chattr that they “met straight after filming wrapped, which was closer to the end of the year.”
Miranda previously told Chattr in June that she had only met Josh a few months before. “We met and we have been inseparable since. This was a few months ago,” she said, adding that they met through her brother, Brock. “He called me one morning to tell me Josh was coming to my hometown for an event and told me to message him,” she said.
Either way, Miranda wants to leave the past behind her, as she spilled that no FWAW stars will be invited to her wedding. “I personally closed that chapter a long time ago, so I don’t really see why anyone from Farmer would have any relevance to my wedding,” she said to Woman’s Day.
