Ally and Lily from Farmer Wants A Wife Australia 2026

On this year’s Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW), Ally quickly set herself apart as being the one to beat in the race for Farmer Dylan’s heart.

The bubbly 23-year-old chocolate shop assistant instantly won Dylan over, starting with a blindfolded taste test on their first speed date, which secured her the coveted 24-hour overnight date, and she even got the rodeo star’s first kiss. In the world of FWAW, this is peak frontrunner status and fans were enthusiastically cheering on the adorable young, blonde couple.

But more recently, Ally has been at the centre of rising suspicions. Dylan has cast doubt over whether she was as invested in him as he was in her, admitting she wasn’t offering him the ‘reassurance’ he needed.

Then, on Sunday night’s Farmer Wants A Wife, further tension boiled over after Dylan took Lily and Ally on a double date. The date involved horse-riding before Dylan had private dates with both women. During Ally’s alone time with Dylan, the pair kissed, Lily later found out… and she wasn’t happy!

At dinner, Lily confronted Ally, saying she had “crossed a line” by kissing Dylan “behind her back”, which she found “disrespectful”. Lily decided this was enough of a reason to call things quits with Dylan, but didn’t waste any time on the way out. As she said her farewells, Lily told Dylan that Ally was “sneaky” and suggested he should be careful when dating her. Mysterious!

In light of Lily’s claims, Chattr spoke to Ally to share her side. Ahead of Sunday night’s episode, Ally shared that Lily did give her a heads-up about the scene with Dylan. “Post-show, we had a call, and we had a debrief, and she kind of let me know that in the moment, she did feel very upset about the kiss and everything she spoke was how she genuinely felt at that time,” Ally admitted.

Ally responds to Lily’s warning to Farmer Dylan

In response to Lily’s warning about Ally, the young chocolate worker said she was stunned. “It was hard to hear those things said about me, because it’s genuinely not how I see myself or how I approached the experience,” Ally admitted.

“I can understand that she was hurt and emotional in the moment, and I respect that those were her feelings, but from my perspective, I wasn’t trying to be sneaky or play a game.”

Ally was especially upset by the word ‘sneaky’ being used to describe her. “I think it was difficult for me to hear the word ‘sneaky’ and even ‘disrespectful’ being used about me, because I feel like they just don’t reflect how I approached the experience,” she said.

“I believe the way we speak about people when they’re not in the room says a lot because when I was watching the episode, I looked at my voxxies and I didn’t see myself tearing Lily down or questioning her character. I made a conscious effort to focus on my relationship with Dylan, and my own experience rather than speaking badly about another woman.”

Ally acknowledged that Lily was speaking from ‘a place of hurt’, but that didn’t excuse her warning to Dylan. “You can be disappointed or frustrated without resorting to personal attacks and even sabotaging another individual, because I think I’d rather be remembered for how I treated people than for what I said about them when they weren’t in the room,” Ally shared.

“In saying this, in this episode, I’m far from perfect, but I feel like I have led with kindness rather than criticism.”

When asked whether the competition brought out the worst in people, Ally didn’t think this was true. “I feel like this experience doesn’t make anyone do anything. It definitely puts people under pressure, but I think we all choose how we respond,” she said. “I know I never viewed the girls as my competition. I saw them as people sharing the same experience as me.”

Ally addresses whether she regrets kissing Dylan on the double date

Despite all the drama it caused, Ally has no regrets about kissing Dylan on the double date. “I stand by kissing Dylan. The kiss was a shared moment, and he leaned into it,” Ally said.

“It felt right, and it was a genuine moment between us. I think when Dylan and I are together, everything else kind of falls away, and it feels really simple, and like it’s just us.”

Ally added that she was unaware whether Dylan had kissed Lily on that same day. “When I spoke with Lily about the fact that I had kissed Dylan, I was going into that conversation aware of the fact that she may have possibly kissed Dylan. Her date was before mine, and there’s always that possibility.”

Overall, Ally plans to stay focused on staying in her lane on FWAW. “I was always staying focused on my own relationship with Dylan, rather than tearing down someone else’s [relationship].”

With hindsight, Ally can see Lily’s side. “I believe that [she] really was speaking from a place of hurt, and she was definitely emotional in the moment, and I respect that. Those were her feelings,” she said, adding that the two are on better terms now.

“Lily and I are still friendly,” Ally said.
