Following her eviction from Big Brother Australia 2025, Holly Young has opened up on her apparent feud with Married at First Sight’s (MAFS) Carina Mirabile.
While Holly was in the house, reports surfaced online that she and Carina had been close friends, but had a falling out while living together, prompting Holly to suddenly move out of the apartment they shared.
In a post-elimination interview, Holly confirmed to Chattr that she and Carina aren’t on speaking terms, but made it clear she holds no hard feelings toward her former friend.
“I’ve just left the show, so Carina and I haven’t spoken since leaving, and I think I’ve got nothing but well wishes towards Carina,” she said.
“We grew up in Perth together. Perth girls stick together. There’s something about West Australian women that, you know, we just have a sense of loyalty, regardless of whether the friendship has drifted. And 15 years is a very good innings. And I’m proud of that. I’m proud of Carina.
“And I think sometimes, you know, people do drift apart, and that’s a part of life. And you so many people can relate to that, because that is life. And you know, some people go on different journeys at different times.”
Holly added that she’s open to talking things through with Carina and making amends.
“I’m sure Carina and I will sit down and have a conversation and probably have a laugh at a few things. Her and I have travelled the world together. We’ve seen so much together. And you know, we’re both adults, so I don’t really see any need to be catty towards each other. If Carina reads this, just Casbah, I’m thinking of you.”

What happened between Holly and Carina?
A source told Daily Mail Australia that Holly moved out of their shared apartment after a fight, and the move left Carina “blindsided”.
“It’s not a little tiff. Holly f**ked Carina over hard,” an insider told the publication.
“What happened between them is something Carina will never forgive.”
The source said that “Holly walked out and didn’t look back” following the disagreement. “After everything they shared, it felt like a betrayal.”
“She was rushing to find another roommate after it all went down, and now I think she’s living somewhere else.”
Big Brother Australia 2025 airs Monday to Friday at 7.30pm, and Sundays at 7pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
