Paul Antoine was the very first Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 groom to be announced, and we’re unsurprised that he’s a recognisable face.
While ex-The Bachelor contestant Sierah Swepstone was one of the MAFS 2025 brides, she isn’t the only one who’s dipped her toes in a dating reality show before.
Yep, Paul — who was on reality TV just two years ago — is one of MAFS 2025 grooms.
Paul Antoine on Married At First Sight 2025. Image: Nine.
What reality show has Paul Antoine been on before?
Paul starred on The Real Love Boat Australia in 2022. The short-lived show was basically Love Island on a boat.
Paul was one of 21 singles who tried to find love with the help of host Darren McMullen, cruise director Hannah Ferrier, head of entertainment Daniel Doody and captain Paolo Arrigo.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?), Paul’s quest for love was about as successful as the show itself, which has since been axed.
Paul is a fitness coach living in Perth. However, he is originally from France and moved to Australia 11 years ago.
When he was on The Real Love Boat Australia, he was hoping to find someone down-to-earth and was a fan of long chats — so we can only assume that’s what he’s looking for this time around, too.
Who is MAFS’ Paul Antoine?
According to Paul’s Channel 9 bio, he’s a hopeless romantic, who’s gone through the small dating pool in Perth.
He’s had two long-term relationships in the past and is ready to find his forever love. Paul said that person would ideally be a woman with European flair, with a smile that lights up the room.
Who is Paul Antoine matched with on MAFS 2025?
Paul’s MAFS bride is fashion influencer and aspiring actress Carina Mirabile. She’s also no stranger to the silver screen, with an acting career that includes roles in two short films and appearances in several commercials.
When they first got TV hitched, Carina wasn’t exactly over the moon. As luck would have it, the two had already dated before the show but, after a hiking date, Paul ghosted her. So, not exactly the best start.
Despite that little hiccup, it seems like the couple has managed to move on, and their relationship has only gotten stronger since.

When asked about all the MAFS drama unfolding, Carina told us she hasn’t been keeping up because she’s too busy spending time with Paul and the rest of the cast.
“To be fair, my phone is going off, and I’m just enjoying life with Paul and all the rest of the cast that are my friends,” she said.
Life with Paul, you say? Could this be third time lucky for the TV vet? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
If that name doesn’t ring a bell for you, then maybe you’ll remember her as the self-professed “tall, horny bogan” from Jimmy Nicholson‘s season.
Here’s everything to know about Sierah.
An icon. Image: Ten.
Sierah Swepstone is the first ex-Bachelor contestant on MAFS
While there always seems to be reality TV crossovers — like MAFS 2024’s Ben Walters apparently being approached for The Bachelors and Janelle Han choosing MAFS 2023 instead of receiving roses — this will actually be the first time an ex-contestant has appeared on the MAFS social experiment.
And if it was going to be anyone, we’re low-key excited it’s Sierah. Her exit from Jimmy’s 2021 season of The Bachelor was iconic.
Remember when she told all of Australia that she “definitely had chlamydia”? We’re all for a woman of honesty who doesn’t give two shits about the judgement.
Apparently, Sierah was poached by MAFS producers
Bring it on! Image: Ten.
Daily Mail Australia reported that Sierah was poached by MAFS producers. An insider told the publication, “She is a nutter but amazing for television because she just doesn’t care.”
Honestly, it was a shame that she was on Jimmy’s season (because it had one of the worst ratings in television history). However, it’s good she’ll be making her return on a show people actually care to watch.
Sierah will be joining fellow reality TV personality Paul Antoine from The Real Love Boat, who’s already been married off to his ex-fling Carina Mirabile.
Alongside them is a wave of actor hopefuls, including Ryan Donnelly, and former Neighbours actor turned businessman Jeff Gobbels.
We can smell their new followers from here.
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7:30pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Rachel Gunn — AKA Raygun — is reportedly in the sights ofI’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! producers following her viral breakdancing routine at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
According to New Idea magazine, the 36-year-old has been deemed “the ideal campmate” by unnamed producers of the hit TV show. On top of that, two of the I’m a CelebrityAustralia 2025 cast clues strongly suggest that the Olympian will be heading to South Africa.
I’m a Celebrity hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris. Image: Ten.
In the past, the show has had the likes of Bernard Tomic, Abbie Chatfield, Domenica Calarco, Brendan Fevola, Callum Hole and many more in the campsite.
Is Raygun going to be on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here?
Although Raygun hasn’t officially been confirmed to join the I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025 cast yet, there is some compelling evidence supporting the idea.
In December 2025, the first cast clue was posted on the I’m a Celebrity Instagram account, revealing that an Olympian was entering the jungle.
“A headline-grabbing Olympian has a ticket to the African wilds. They love freestyle; will the Jungle break them?” the narrator said in the clip.
Then, in mid-January 2025, a second clue was published, which further indicated that Raygun was the celeb in question.
The bonus clue shared three emojis representing the mystery Olympian: a kangaroo, a croissant, and a cap.
Of course, Raygun famously imitated a Kangaroo during her routine at the Paris Olympics, during which she wore a cap. It doesn’t exactly take a rocket scientist to connect the emojis to the controversial breakdancer.
Furthermore, back in August 2024, New Idea magazine reported that the I’m a Celebrity producers were in talks with Raygun about joining the show.
“The public will want to hear her story in the jungle. Love her or loathe her, she has everyone talking,” the source told the publication.
Raygun made a video cameo at the 2024 Logies in August, where she encouraged the industry to whip out some of her moves to celebrate the night.
Raygun surprised the TV industry with an appearance at the Logies. Image: Seven.
“It’s these viral moments and water-cooler conversations that IAC [I’m a Celebrity] will want to capitalise on,” the source said.
How did Raygun become famous?
Raygun has been the topic of the internet since she performed at the Paris 2024 Olympics, busting out the sprinkler and some kangaroo-esque moves that baffled the audience.
In August, Raygun was referenced on The Jimmy Fallon Show and at an Adele concert that same month, truly proving that she got the world talking (and smiling).
While not everyone was supportive of Raygun making it to the Olympics—where she was awarded zero points—it’s likely that people are keen to hear more about her story.
Perhaps we will in the jungle?
I’m a Celebrity Australia… Get Me Out Of Here Australia 2025 will premiere on January 19 on Channel 10 and 10Play.
The White Lotus Season 3 is taking us to a luxurious trip to Thailand, but like previous seasons, not everything will be sunshine and rainbows.
The new trailer for The White Lotus Season 3 has dropped and it is pure and utter chaos. From scenes of boozy nights out, to a body bag getting wheeled out, the new instalment will be nothing short of dramatic.
Ahead of the drop, let’s dive into everything we know so far about The White Lotus Season 3.
White Lotus Season 3 cast, Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, and Leslie Bibb. Image: HBO.
What is The White LotusSeason 3 release date?
The third season of the enthralling series will be available to stream from February 17 on BINGE.
Is there a White Lotus Season 3 trailer?
There is! The first full-length trailer dropped on January 28. Watch it for yourself below.
Who is in The White Lotus cast for Season 3?
We now have the confirmed cast for The White Lotus season 3, featuring Season 1’s Natasha Rothwell, the spa manager who was taken for a ride by Jennifer Coolidge‘s character, Tanya McQuoid.
The cast for season 3 also includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood.
Additional cast includes Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Dom Hetrakul, Julian Kostov, Charlotte Le Bon, Morgana O’Reilly, and Shalini Peiris.
Walton has gone ahead and done God’s work for White Lotus fans by sharing a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos of the Season 3 cast. The carousels include photos of cast members Michelle, Carrie and Leslie.
In Season 2, fan favourite and the only returning character, Tanya, was seemingly killed off. Will we see her return from the dead, or perhaps a long-lost twin sister will come in to take her place? Fingers crossed for a Coolidge resurrection, but HBO has been keeping mum if she’s returning.
However, with the release of the full trailer and no Tanya in sight, things don’t look promising.
What is The White Lotus Season 3 filmed?
Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Patrick Shwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola. Image: HBO.
After vacationing in Maui in Season 1 and Sicily in Season 2, HBO revealed in a statement that Season 3 will take us to the stunning setting of Thailand. Filming locations include Bangkok, Koh Samui and Phuket.
What hotel is The White Lotus filmed at?
The first two seasons were shot at Four Seasons resorts in Hawaii and Italy, and Season 3 followed the trend.
While there are Four Seasons resorts in both Bangkok and Koh Samui, Bloomberg reported in early 2024 that The White Lotus Season 3 would be filmed at the Koh Samui location.
AFAR has also reported that Phuket’s Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas will feature in Season 3 scenes.
What can we expect from The White LotusSeason 3?
Lalisa Manobal and Tayme Thapthimthong. Image: HBO
In a press release, we got a vague synopsis for this season, “The social satire is set at an exclusive Thai resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.”
If the past two seasons are anything to judge this season off, we know it will be a very dramatic week for the guests.
During an episode of the Unpacking explainer series, White said, “The first season kind of highlighted money, and then the second season is sex.
“I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion – and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”
The show has absolutely cleaned up at awards shows in recent years. In total, the series has been nominated for more than 80 awards, winning 38, including two Golden Globes and 10 Emmy awards.
Is there a Season 4?
Yes, there will be a Season 4 of The White Lotus.
The next season has already been confirmed on the show’s Instagram, but they have kept the details very threadbare.
“Good news travels fast. #TheWhiteLotus is excited to welcome you to a new destination,” the Instagram caption read.
The official Aussie Shore cast, trailer and release date have dropped to get us all very, very excited for this undeniably bonkers show.
Callum Hole was the first announced member of the new Aussie Shore cast (so consider us fans of the show already) and now 10 more names have been added to the mix.
Aussie Shore is basically Geordie Shore down under and it will have the one and only Charlotte Crosby at the helm.
Keep reading for everything we know about the Aussie Shore cast so far.
What has Charlotte Crosby said about Aussie Shore?
Charlotte has teased viewers about the wild shenanigans that will happen on Aussie Shore. The former Geordie Shore star called the show the “ultimate Australian party adventure” and gave viewers a sneak peek into what to expect from the series.
Charlotte gave Kyle and Jackie O a taste of what we can expect from the Aussie Shore cast earlier this year and it all sounds very spicy.
Confirming that none of the Aussie Shore cast knew each other before filming began, Charlotte said this new generation “are pushing boundaries” that we didn’t even know existed.
Meet your Aussie Shore cast! Image: Paramount+
The Aussie shore cast include Callum (more on him below), Kyle, Lexie, Tom, Lily, Cooper, Catia, Con, Jaeda, Manaaki and Nardos.
Earlier this year rumours circled that Callum would be returning for Love Island 2024 off the back of his I’m A Celeb success, put perhaps Paramount beat Nine to the punch?
“A huge addition to an already incredible cast! AUSSIE SHORE IS GUNNA BLOW EVERYONES MINDS,” Charlotte wrote on the Callum announcement post.
What’s Charlotte Crosby’s role on Aussie Shore?
Charlotte’s 12-year run on Geordie Shore makes her perfect for the role of House Boss on Aussie Shore.
Earlier this year, Charlotte confirmed to Kyle and Jackie O that she was filming the upcoming show but that the cast were all around a decade younger than her.
Living rooms around the nation were surprised when The Voice Australia 2024 contestant Mol Turner whipped out powerful vocals that no one was prepared for.
On the August 26 episode of The Voice, 17-year-old Mol chose Britney Spears‘ iconic track Toxic — but with one very big death metal twist.
Sporting a shaggy blonde mullet, heavy eye makeup and chained jeans, Mol slowly built up to the chorus with an eerier and edgier take on the early noughties tune.
As she hit the chorus, well, The Voice coach LeAnn Rimes‘ reaction says it all:
The Voice coach Kate Miller-Heidke turned around for Mol, who is from the South Coast in New South Wales, meaning the teenager will now be on the Australian musician’s team.
What is Australia saying about Mol Turner’s audition?
With the show primarily showcasing mainstream genres and producing pop artists, Mol’s performance was surprising in a way that Australian audiences are loving.
While some viewers didn’t love the performance and are entitled to that opinion, the response is overwhelmingly positive.
“So good to finally see someone singing screamo,” someone commented on The Voice Instagram, noting that her “growl” was fire.
“An impressive death metal take on ‘Toxic’ that was so entertaining, she has quite an impressive vocal range — I think she will surprise us with what else she is capable of doing,” someone wrote to The Voice Australia Facebook.
Mol’s take on this song is definitely a welcome change. Even people who don’t neccesarily like death metal or screamo as a genre could still appreciate that she nailed it.
“Couldn’t think of anything more painful than listening to Death Metal but that was a fantastic performance and you can only appreciate the talent behind it,” one person wrote.
“Love it or hate it but that was amazing well done Mol !!!!. I loved every second!” wrote another.
“Not my cup of tea, but the girl has raw power. Glad she has the chance to perform on stage. All talents should be showcased,” an Instagram commenter added.
We can’t wait to see what Mol performs next!
The Voice Australia airs on Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Tuesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
It Ends With Us just hit cinemas but there’s one sequel-shaped question on everyone’s lips: will we get a movie adaptation for It Starts With Us — Colleen Hoover‘s follow up novel to It Ends With Us?
Mentions of It Starts With Us have definitely been happening on the red carpets for the It Ends With Us movie but, as of right now, it hasn’t officially been green lit. In fact, it’s looking murkier than ever considering all the supposed beef between leads Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
So what is Colleen and the It Ends With Us crew saying about the sequel? Here’s what you missed while trying to dissect the rumoured It Ends With Us drama.
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni in It Ends With Us. Image: Sony
Does It Ends With Us have a sequel?
Colleen’s It Ends With Us book has a sequel called It Starts With Us.
While It Ends With Us follows the story of Lily Bloom trying to navigate a relationship that becomes abusive, It Starts With Us picks up where the last novel ended and focuses on Lily’s relationship with Atlas. (I’d go into further detail, but I don’t want to invite any spoiler backlash!)
The It Ends With Us book was released in 2016 and It Starts With Us came out in 2022.
It Starts With Us was released in 2022. Image: Simon & Schuster.
Justin, It Ends With Us director and lead actor, optioned the first novel back in 2019 — before It Starts With Us was even published.
Will there be an It Starts With Us movie?
A sequel is an obvious decision based on the huge box office success of It Ends With Us.
While in early August it appeared that no one had secured the rights for the It Starts With Us movie, The Hollywood Reporter is now reporting that Justin and Wayfarer Studios do have the rights for the sequel film.
If there was to be an It Ends With Us sequel off the back of the film’s success, it would be an obvious decision to keep the original cast including Blake as Lily, Justin as Ryle Kincaid, Brandon Sklenaras Atlas Corrigan and Jenny Slate as Alyssa Kincaid.
That being said, there have definitely been sequels that have deviated from the original casting (albeit usually awful).
But even if Justin was no longer in the role of Ryle or as the film director, a sequel involving Blake would mean the pair would still need to work together in some capacity. Because of this, there have been doubts over whether or not the film will go ahead.
What has Justin Baldoni said about an It Ends With Us Sequel?
Justin told Entertainment Tonight that he believes someone else should direct the sequel.
“I think that there are better people for that one,” he said. “I think Blake Lively’s ready to direct, that’s what I think.”
When asked whether or not he’d spoken to Colleen or Blake about a sequel, Justin admitted that he hadn’t.
“I haven’t. I have no idea what that story would be,” Baldoni told TV Insider at a press junket, noting that he’s trying to stay in the present.
“I’m just kind of doing my best to take this all in because it’s been five years to even get us here. So I can’t even fathom another story yet, but I’m so happy that fans love it and that she did it.”
What has Colleen Hover said about an It Starts With Us movie?
Author Colleen has definitely entertained the idea of a movie sequel.
“I think whoever decides to take charge of the next one would do it justice,” she told ET.
“I think they’re all in it for the right reasons, so I think that will be exciting. But it’s a lot of people to get the same schedules together again, so we’ll see.”
In regards to Blake coming on as director, the author said she’d “absolutely” be into that.
Considering It Ends With Us is all anyone’s talking about right now — and considering a lot of people want to see more of Atlas — we think a sequel could definitely be on the cards.
The It Ends With Us drama has been dominating our algorithms for the past fortnight, moving from a rumoured rift between Blake Livelyand Justin Baldoni to an all-out public scrutiny of Blake’s promotional run. Now, costar Brandon Sklenar has addressed the criticism.
Taking to Instagram this week, Brandon released an online statement to discuss for “vilifying the women of this cast” is “counterproductive” to the film’s message.
Why are people criticising Blake Lively?
This month, Blake has been gradually dragged online for interviews, including one where she tells the audience to “wear their florals” for a film about domestic violence.
Old interviews have also been surfacing including one where she is rude to an interviewer and one where she makes a transphobic slur.
In one interview, the interviewer asks how those who personally resonate with It Ends With Us‘ themes can go about discussing it with Blake, to which she jokes about sharing her location or address alongside Brandon, who plays love interest Atlas Corrigan in It Ends With Us.
What did Brandon Sklenar’s statement say?
“I wanted to take a minute and address all this stuff swirling online,” 34-year-old Brandon wrote in an image uploaded to his Instagram account.
“The women of this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and for women choosing a better life for themselves,” he continued.
“Vilifying the women who put so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and detracts from what this film is about.”
For weeks, rumours have been circling of creative differences between Blake, who plays lead actress Lily Bloom in It Ends With Us, and Justin, the director and also the lead actor playing the role of Ryle Kincaid.
When he was asked about an It Starts With Us movie — the It Ends With Us sequel — Justin suggested Blake as director.
“What may or may not have happened behind the scenes does not and hopefully should not detract from what our intentions were in making this film,” Brandon said.

“It’s been disheartening to see the amount of negativity being projected online.”
He called for people to stop spreading hate online and to remind themselves of the core message of the film.
“This movie is a harsh reality check for the men who need to get their shit together and take responsibility for themselves and their actions,” he wrote.

“Ultimately it’s meant to spread love and awareness. It is not meant to once again, make the women the ‘bad guy,’ let’s move beyond that together.”
Home and Away fans are praising the soap for the “powerful” portrayal of grief by actor Ethan Browne (Tane) on the show’s August 19 episode.
In the emotional scene, Tane mourns the loss of Felicity (played by Jaqui Purvis) following her shock death while performing the Haka.
Perri, played by Cantona Stewart, watches on in concern and heartbreak as Tane grieves Felicity.
Home and Away fans have been quick to share their thoughts on the episode, praising the scene along with Ethan’s acting and the inclusion of Maori culture.
Home and Away hair and makeup designer Laura Vazquez wrote, “So powerful, so beautiful. Felt every emotion in this scene,” on an Instagram post sharing the scene.
“Absolutely love that the Maori culture and traditions has been brought into the show. Such a beautiful culture,” another comment read.
“Finishing with the Haka was a perfect ending to the episode. And done with such pure emotion,” said another.
“Couldn’t stop crying watching this,” a commenter added.
Tane and Felicity on Home and Away. Image: Seven.
Felicity collapsed at Cash and Eden’s engagement party during the August 12 episode. Felicity and Tane split late last year after Tane discovered she had been taking birth control pills behind his back.
At the engagement party, Felicity and Tane danced, flirted and instilled hope in viewers at home who have been rooting for their relationship. She then got blurred vision and collapsed before being taken to hospital.
The doctor declared she had suffered a brain aneurysm and she was eventually taken off life support on the August 19 episode.
When Home and Away producerLucy Addario said we’d need tissues for this unexpected death, she wasn’t messing about.
Home and Away airs Monday – Thursday at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

The Voice 2024 is set to premiere this August with Guy Sebastian, Kate Miller-Heidke, Adam Lambert and LeAnn Rimes leading the charge as coaches for the new season.
Apparently there’s one celebrity coach that got a little overexcited this season though, with fellow The Voice judge Kate labelling them as “trigger happy” with that big red button.
Adam Lambert was “trigger happy” on The Voice 2024
“Adam was super trigger happy,” Kate revealed in an exclusive interview with Chattr, explaining that he chewed up most of his singer positions within the first half of the blind auditions.

“He turned around for for so many people very early on in the filming and then he found himself with one spot left for, like the second half of the blinds,” Kate explained.
“He got a bit overexcited.”
On The Voice, four judges have traditionally gotten to choose 12 singers each. If they turn around for a contestant who chooses to be on their team in return, it means that one of their 12 positions have been filled.
What type of artists did Kate Miller-Heidke press the buzzer for?
Kate explained to Chattr that she turned around for moments that really struck her.
“You’re just listening to hear that one magic moment,” Kate explained to Chattr. “It’s such a cliche, but that magic moment in a song that gives you goosebumps or surprises you in some way.”

“Sometimes it’s really it can be hard to tell because a lot of people are struggling with nerves. It’s a deeply nerve-wracking experience to get up on that stage and you’re just waiting to hear that that kernel of something amazing.”
Kate met Adam and LeAnn for the first time on The Voice 2024
Kate revealed to Chattr that it was her first time meeting both LeAnn and Adam, the latter of which became one of her “favourite” people.
“They were both so lovely,” Kate explained of meeting Adam and LeAnn for the first time on The Voice.
“Leanne shot to superstardom when she was only 12 years old,” Kate recalled.
Image: Supplied.
“She’s lived her entire life as a very famous person, but she’s still an artist to her core. She still takes the art and craft of singing really seriously and she’s so good at what she does.”
“And Adam, he’s lightning in a bottle. He’s just brilliant. He and I were sitting next to each other for the whole season, so we got to hang out and chat a lot.
“He is just one of my favourite people. He’s so funny and irreverent and kooky. He’s brilliant.”
Why did this just become the friendship we never knew we needed? Cute as hell.
The Voice airs on 7 and 7Plus from Monday, August 19.
FBoy Island 2024 has landed and no one’s happier than me to see a big burning dick on the sand to kick off the Season 2 recaps.
burn motherfucker
This season we have three new leading ladies tasked with figuring out if the men vying for their love are FBoys or Nice Guys.
Choose wrong and they’ll be rorted out of the prize money.
this is fine
First we have Nicole, a model who is asking the bare minimum from a man: to be heard and not just seen.
see me hear me love me!
Krystal (who you remember from The Bachelors) is on the hunt for a “mid” — AKA a six of out 10 — because they’re fabulous at licking pussy.
where is the lie
Ally, our final leading lady, has dated “devil dick” — AKA Vernon Lyon from FBoy Island Season 1. She doesn’t even need to say his name.
I was younger then
Our host and saviour Abbie Chatfield is ready to introduce the ladies to the men of FBoy Island, but first they must finish the last leg of the 14-km City2Surf.
see you in 25 hours
First the boys are introduced to Nicole and it is immediately obvious that they have smelt model (and perfect underboob) because they cannot control their dick energy of varying sizes.
arooga
Next up is Krystal. She has placed second in City2Surf at two hours and 12 minutes, only to see a familiar face from the Gold Coast.
omg is that the rando from Sin City
However, the guy she may or may not have rooted at Toolies isn’t the one she’s got her eyes set on. While she’s adamant about a mid who bothers to find the clit, she has instead chosen “the hot one”.
It is I, ‘The Hot One’
No, she literally called him that, in order to clarify that she’s not talking about this guy.
I lick pussy better than The Hot One tho
Ally places third for City2Surf, finishing at two hours and 19 minutes. She also has her eyes on The Hot One.
this should end well
The ladies and the men then head back to their respective villas where it becomes apparent that Frank has been declared as an FBoy by literally everyone.
Why? He was handsy with Krystal and… as for the guys? I think they just reckon he’s a toss.
Meanwhile, The Hot One has decided he likes Nicole the best.
The Hot Ones must stick together
Back at the women’s HQ, Abbie is getting to know the ladies better.
Ally confirms dirty dog Vernon dropped the L-word on her before going on a bender and blocking her.
that second bag will do it
Ally’s revenge? Implying to all of Australia he has a small dick.
that checks out
Krystal opens up about being the child of an FBoy. Her father cheated on her mum while she was pregnant with Krystal and now she feels like she has a responsibility to stop the chain.
We love Krystal and this is a powerful story. FBoys think their behaviour is funny but it actually can be really fucking traumatic. OK?
“My Fboy radar? Unmatched,” Krystal says.
not counting Felix Van Hofe
The bonfire
Once Jerome (the one who wears Crocs) shares that likes “licking ass” and “eating ass” (just like Flume), the FBoy Island crew head to a bonfire.
Cue Love Island montage
Krystal confirms she may have “sucked” off that guy from the Gold Coast but does not confirm if it was on Cavill Ave. Her memory is really failing her for someone who writes FBoy reminders in her notebook.
So far we know that the guy who wore a leather jacket on an island called her the wrong name and the guy who was on The Amazing Race isn’t sure if he wants to give up the single life.
We also know that everyone’s obsessed with Nicole, even though we all know she is going to choose The Hot One.
as per my last email, I would like to be heard
Sadly The Hot One is also The Dense One because he tells a woman wearing a full face of makeup that she’s a “natural beauty”.
lol this is makeup
Nicole reminds him of the makeup she is wearing, while looking at him with the same eyes lined with eyeliner and shaded with glitter.
“Doesn’t look like it,” he responds. Does this man think we came out of the womb looking like Mila Kunis in her Black Swan era?
you’re telling me those diamantes under your eyes aren’t permanent?
Someone open their TikTok and show this man a GRWM.
Thankfully another man named Nick takes over and he knows the word “intrinsic” so please, do not be fooled by his earlier peck pumping.
I brought my thesaurus
Krystal, who was once on The Bachelors, has taken a liking to Paddy, who was once on The Bachelorette.
“Paddy, he isn’t the hottest,” Krystal says and my heart breaks from him watching this back right now.
which means you’ll be fab at going down
Krystal can sense an anaconda in those pants so she gives him a pash with so much tongue it requires a KFC wet clean up towel.
slurp
“I love how you played with my tongue,” he tells her and I may just vomit on my television screen.
da fuq u just say
In other areas of the party, a man with tatoos decides to dry-root Nicole’s foot and Frank is trying to convince Krystal he’s a nice guy because his ex slept with his mate behind his back.
That doesn’t make you a nice guy, it just means you have fucked friends.
nice try
It’s time to choose who the ladies will be taking on their first dates.
Nicole chooses Jack (the man who can both use big words and pop his pecks), Krystal chooses Frank (to try and determine his FBoy status once and for all) and Ally goes for The Hot One (The Christian Who Has Sex Before Marriage AKA The Man Who Thinks Women Were Born With Eyeliner).
you lack common sense but as long as you fuck before nuptials we’re good
The first dates
Ally is wet. She’s dickmatised by The Hot One’s past four-year relationship and ability to talk nicely about his ex.
a man who doesn’t talk shit about his ex? Rare find!!!
Then he slips his tongue in like the good Christian boy he is.
forgive me father for I have sinned
Meanwhile, Krystal is embracing her inner Cavill Ave by sharing a vodka cruiser with Frank after making him run around a sunflower garden naked.
we love preemptive revenge
Nicole and Jack jetski, talk about how much they like each other and then slip their tongues in both on dry land and in the sea.
we are so intrinsic rn bby
We finish off our dates portion of the episode by Ally finding out that The Hot One liked Nicole first and would like to still get to know her considering he’s known Ally a full three minutes.
But she was born with eye glitter!
Ally cries.
The elimination
The girls have taken to their directors chairs for their first FBoy Island elimination.
A bunch of people we hardly know are up for elimination, plus Frank, that foot fucker, The Hot One (!!!) and that Jake dude who you recognise from The Amazing Race. Sadly The Amazing Race dude already left (probably to go on another reality TV show).
enjoy Love Is Blind
Only the foot fucker and Jin leave. Jin is the one who told Nicole she was stunning. Sorry, that didn’t narrow it down, did it?
This is Jin
Jin and his slutty ankles are an Fboy but the dry foot fucker is a Nice Guy!
I’ll never dry root a foot again
One down, many to go. I’ll be writing FBoy Island Season 2 recaps the entire season so I’ll see you here next Monday but until then, you can follow me on Instagram.
FBoy IslandAustralia is coming back for Season Two and finally we’ve got the deets we’ve been waiting for — a trailer, release date and even our leading ladies.
Keep reading for everything we know so far about FBOY Island Season Two, including a familiar face as part of the leading ladies, one hell of a packed trailer, where the show’s filmed and more.
Here’s everything we know about FBoy Island Australia 2024.
Is there an FBoy Island Season Two trailer?
Sure is! And let me tell you, FBoy Island Season Two looks like it will D-E-L-I-V-E-R. Do I spy Abbie Chatfieldtelling someone off? Do I spy a Bachie contestant (more on that below)? Keen!!!
The official trailer follows a few teases we’ve copped this month, including one where Abbie asks why Limbro is open.
(For the uninitiated, Limbro is where naughty FBOYs are sent to repent after they’re eliminated.)
Could Abbie asking “Who left it open?” mean that some of the FBoysfrom Season One are returning in Season Two? Could VernonLyon be back for another round?
The FBoys and Nice Guys for Season Two have just been announced and they include some reality TV alumni! See the FBoy Island men, including one block from Bachelor In Paradise and one from Amazing Race Australia.
will be made up of just yet. There’s a decent taste of what we’re in for thanks to the trailer above, though. I don’t think they’re going to disappoint.
Who are FBoy Island Australia’s leading ladies?
Australia, meet Krystal Thomas, Ally Woodfall and Nicole Mitrov.
From left to right: Ally Woodfall, Krystal Thomas, Nicole Mitrov. Image: BINGE.
Krystal has experience navigating FBoys — you might remember her as a The Bachelors contestant where she dated Felix Van Hofe.
Nicole is a model and Ally is Vernon‘s ex.
Who will host FBOY Island Season Two?
Abbie will return as host of FBoy Island Australia after nailing the job for Season One.
Literally the best host choice for this show. Image: BINGE.
Not only has she been on a reality dating show before as runner-up for Matt Agnew‘s The Bachelor season, but she also knows when to call out people for being shitty.
In Abbie we trust.
What can we expect from FBOY Island Season Two?
Host Abbie explained that while fans can expect drama again this season, the sophomore season will be different from the first.
FBOY Island Season Two’s leading ladies with host Abbie. Image: BINGE.
“This season is as drama-filled but in really different ways,” Chatfield told Daily Telegraph earlier this year.
“The stories along the way are way more complex and I think the three leading women did such an amazing job at supporting each other, really doing detective work and being steadfast.
“They had some hard conversations with each other along the way as well, which I think is what real friendship is all about.”
The official FBOY Island Season Two release date is August 5, 2024. Pencil it in! It will air every Monday for nine weeks.
Which FBOY Island Season One couples are still together?
In Season One, Molly O’Halloran, Ziara Rae and Sophie Blackley attempted to navigate their way through the FBOYs and find true love.
FBOY Island leads and their final picks. Image: BINGE.
Molly and Ziara both snagged “nice guys” in Nick Brownand Izaya Leotarespectively. And they’re still with their chosen picks!
Meanwhile, Sophie chose Joshy Allen, even though he was revealed to be an FBoy. They split up shortly after.
How to watch FBoy Island Australia
FBOY Island Australia streams exclusively on streaming service BINGE from August 5. You can watch everyone episode of Season One now.
Where is FBoy Island Australia filmed?
Sadly (or gladly?) there is no actual FBoy Island on Google Maps. FBoy Island Australia is filmed in a place called Casaurina which is 150km south to south east of Brisbane.
Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys is getting a prequel spinoff called Vought Rising which is great news for fans who were bummed about Season 5 ending.
The Boys spinoff was announced during a panel presentation at San Diego Comic-Con. Supernatural‘s Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy) and Aya Cash (Stormfront) will feature in the new prequel series.
Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming The Boys spinoff, Vought Rising.
What is The Boys spinoff Vought Rising about?
Vought Rising is “a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s”, according to the official The Boys Instagram page.
“Vought Rising may or may not feature the very first Herogasm, founded in 1952,” the post added about The Boys spinoff.
For the uninitiated, Herogasm is a yearly festival where superheroes engage in a bunch of sexual activity. A selling point for the new spinoff if I ever did hear one!
Vought Rising will also follow “the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical manoeuvres of a ‘Supe’ known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought”, according to executive producers Eric Kripke and Paul Grellong‘s statement (shared by news.com.au).
“We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.”
This will be the third The Boys spinoff.
The Boys Season 5 will be the last
During the San Diego Comic-Con panel, it was also revealed that Jensen will play a major role in The Boys Season 5 and that a relationship between Soldier Boy and Homelander will be further explored.
The Boys Season 4 premiered in June 2024 and it was recently confirmed that Season 5 would be its last.
Just before the highly anticipated premiere of Season 4 in June, Eric Kripke (the mastermind behind the show), announced that Season 5 would be the final season.
“SEE YOU FOR OUR FINAL SEASON, MOTHERF***ERS!” the tweet read.
“From the very beginning, I wanted to wrap it out around season five,” Kripke told The Hollywood Reporter.
“And then I would say plans really solidified that we were going to actually do it years ago.
“It might have been because I was trained as a TV writer and there were five acts,” he added.
“It gives you enough time to get to know the characters… It’s about the characters and then you kick off into a climax.”
End of an era! At least now we have The Boys spinoff to look forward to, huh?
Harry Garside has shared a heartfelt message on social media after missing out on the gold medal he was gunning for at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Overnight Australian time, Harry was eliminated in the first round of the men’s 63.5kg class. He won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games and had been hoping to score a gold in Paris.
In a post-match interview that personally broke my heart watching at home, Harry apologised to his home country and revealed that times ahead will be tough for him.
Harry Garside’s disappointment over his Paris 2024 Olympics outcome
“It is crazy… two decades dedicated to one dream and it is over just like that,” Harry told Nine.
“Australia is such a sporting nation and I’m so sorry. Honestly, I feel like a failure right now … I don’t even know what to say,” he added.
“Deep down inside I fear for what the next couple of months look like for myself. I’m sure there’ll be some dark times. I’ve just got to prepare for that now.”
Harry’s heartfelt realisation
Harry has taken to social media following his Olympics outcome to share how he’s feeling after some time to process and we’re glad to see him looking a bit more optimistic.
Sharing that he’s been “beating himself up for a couple of hours” over the events before coming to a “realisation”.
“I had this realisation that I wanted a two-decade journey to try and get that gold medal. And yes, I didn’t get that gold medal but I became my own friend in that journey,” Harry reflected.
Harry continued to explain that his self-worth was low at the beginning of the journey and now he feels like he has the relationship with himself to manage his inner-critic.
“Over the last three years, I really worked hard and trying to build my self-worth and trying to grow and evolve and be kind to myself more often. In that, I don’t get success, but I’d rather be my friend and have no success.”
Harry then got emotional as he went on to share his hopes of becoming a dad one day.
“Being a dad and not passing on negative things to my kids is really important to me. So I’m really happy that the two-decade journey wasn’t for nothing,” Harry finished.
Absolutely sensational human that the whole of Australia is cheering on right now, gold medal or not.
You can watch the Paris 2024 Olympics on 9 and 9Now. Harry Garside also appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2023 which you can watch on 10Play.
According to Herald Sun, Janet died peacefully on Friday with her daughters, Sarah and Eloise, by her side.
Janet also played Reb Keane in Prisoner: Cell Block H, and more recently appeared in Safe Home on SBS and the Logie-nominated Paramount+ drama Fake starring Asher Keddie.
Neighbours costars share tributes for Janet Andrewartha
In the social media post announcing Janet’s passing, Neighbours cast memberJackie Woodburne (who plays Susan Kennedy) remembered Janet as “an extraordinary woman” who she will miss.
“Janet was one of the finest actors of her generation, but more than that, she was an extraordinary woman,” Jackie said in the Neighbours post.
“Passionate, political, curious, delightfully eccentric, generous and fun. To me she was a steadfast friend for over 45 years. I will miss her every day.”
Stefan Dennis (who plays Paul Robinson) commented on the post to echo Jackie’s words.
“So very upset to lose the lovely Janet,” Stefan wrote. “As Jackie said, she truly was an exceptional actress who was a pleasure work with and to be around. We will all miss you dear girl.”
Lyn Scully once married Paul Robinson on the beloved soap. Image: Channel Ten.
Lucinda Cowden (who plays Melanie Pearson), remembered Janet’s impact in her role as Reb Keane in Prisoner: Cell Block H.
“I remember when I first saw her on Prisoner … she lit up the screen, and continued to grace us with her exceptional talent in so many interesting and unique characters,” Lucinda wrote. “Vale Janet.”
Holly Vallance (who played Felicity Scully, the daughter of Lyn) shared her heartbreak on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Deeply sad losing Janet Andrewartha. She was a superb human being who taught me so much from the age of 15. I'll treasure her last trip to the UK forever. Precious memories I'm so grateful for. “Precious memories I’m so grateful for. A beautiful, talented, hilarious & kind woman.
“I’m so glad it was you who played my Mum. You were the real deal. Made us feel safe. And looked after us when we were all so young in the industry. It was an honour to work beside you and call you a friend.”
Carla Bonner (who played Steph Scully, Lyn’s daughter) shared an image of a candle overnight to her Instagram Stories saying, “I will miss you forever.”

Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by Janet’s passing.
“It’s very recent and very unexpected. I’m super happy. It’s really lovely.”
This is huge news for Home and Away fans as the rumours of the pair’s romance first started swirling in May after photos of Ada and James kissing emerged.
It was following the April announcement of Ada’s split from Adam Rigby. Ada and Adam were together for eight years.
James, 48, finalised his divorce from former Home And Away star Sarah Roberts in March. The pair were together for five years.
Were Ada and James together while shooting their wedding scene?
Ada and James play husband and wife on Home and Away as their characters Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan. In fact, the pair filmed wedding scenes for the soap last year and the episode itself aired in April.
Prior to Ada’s confirmation of their relationship, The Sunday Telegraph reported that she was spotted kissing James at a Seven Network Christmas party last year.
That being said, Ada shut down any rumours that she was involved with James during shooting.
“There weren’t genuine feelings then,” Ada explained.
The couple’s characters got married earlier this year. Image: Seven.
“It was shot last year. But I think whenever you’re watching any TV couple, you’re always wondering if they really do have feelings.
“We’ve always respected each other. We’ve known each other since [1998 soap opera] Breakers. Jimmy is an amazing actor,” she added.
“I’ve loved working with him for five years and I think our scenes are great. I always like going to work — we push ourselves, and push each other, in a really good way.”
As someone who’s watched Ada’s character, Leah, lose Vinnie (Ryan Kwanten) all those years ago, I’m happy for her. And for Ada too!
Remember when Jayden Eynaud told Eden Harperduring Married At First Sight’s confessions week that he slept with his ex’s best friend while she watched? It was truly shocking television in every sense of the word.
The shock quickly turned to confusion when a woman claiming to be Jayden’s ex-girlfriend told PEDESTRIAN.TV that his confession was a lie, though. Why — WHY — would you lie about something like… that?
It’s something that still baffles Jayden’s TV bride Eden, who admitted to Chattr that she found out it was a lie “during MAFS airing” like everyone else.
That’s a lot of months to be kept in the dark. Keep reading to see what Eden had to say about Jayden’s confession lie.
Jayden told Eden he slept with his ex’s best friend after finding out she cheated on him. Image: Nine.
How did Eden feel when Jayden told her that confession?
Even though it seemed like Jayden’s confession was quickly forgotten about by viewers, Eden revealed that the whole thing really changed things for the relationship.
“When I first experienced the confession letter in real life, I had only known Jayden a few weeks,” Eden told Chattr.
“It was hard at the time as I really liked him. Prior to finding out I trusted him 100 per cent and but that trust was completely shattered,” she continued.
“It made me question and overthink everything he ever said from that day on.
“So as much as I did make the choice to forgive him, the trust was subconsciously broken and I wouldn’t have been the best version of myself in the relationship from then on.”
How did Eden feel watching Australia’s reaction to Jayden’s confession?
Eden says that having to watch the confession on television was difficult, especially because of how much their relationship had grown outside the experiment in that time.
“Reliving the story all over again when it aired was really hard for me as by that point I’d been with the guy for seven-to-eight months and was completely in love.
“It was tough seeing everyone’s opinions and they way people spoke about him online.”
Eden was upset when she found out Jayden’s MAFS confession. Image: Nine.
How did Eden find out Jayden’s confession was a lie?
While Australia found out about the lie within 24 hours of the episode airing, Eden thought it was true for months — up until Jayden himself admitted it was false.
“The day after it aired, his ex-girlfriend had come out and claimed the story was false,” Eden recalled.
“After that, he did admit to me that it didn’t happen.
“It made me really angry to be honest — angry at him for putting me through that and putting his ex through that and for sharing it on national television.
“It honestly made me so angry that if I wanted to be with him, I really had to choose to forgive him for it and never bring it up again, which is the choice I made.”
Eden and Jayden announced their breakup in April 2024. Image: Nine.
She’s a stronger woman than me! Jayden and Eden announced their break up just after MAFS 2024 stopped airing.
As for why Jayden would make up a story that doesn’t necessarily make him look great of national (and later international) television, Eden hinted she’d probably never know.
“It baffles me to this day why anyone would make that up,” she explained to Chattr.
“I couldn’t get a straight answer from him as to why, just lots of different reasons and blaming other people which didn’t make any sense.”
House of the Dragon has once again shocked its viewers with confronting footage and this time it’s kept it in the family with an incest scene. Yes, you read that right.
Although it’s a storyline we’ve seen before in the Game of Thrones universe and George R.R Martin‘s work in general, viewers of the hit show have some thoughts about the latest House of the Dragon incest scene where a character imagined having sex with his mother.
— edgar allan’s hoe 🐦⬛🔮 (@NightOwlNikk) July 15, 2024
While it’s almost expected from the same show that shocked viewers with a confronting blowjob scene earlier this month, I can understand the confused reaction from the general public when it comes to the House of the Dragon incest scene in question.
Whether you’re a regular viewer of House of the Dragon or not, one thing’s for sure: this scene is so uncomfortable to watch (which you can do below at your own risk):
I just watch finished watching house of the dragon episode 5 and this scene of Daemon having sexs with his mother is so cringe, disgusting and absolutely unnecessary. These shows are taking this incest thing to another level like what was even the aim?? 🤮🤬 pic.twitter.com/fnGxk8U1Ft
What happens in the incest scene with Daemon’s mother?
The footage shows Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) having a very sensual dream about his mother, Alyssa Targaryen (Emeline Lambert).
“Daemon, you were always the strong one. The finest swordsman. The fearless dragon rider,” Alyssa tells her son as he… goes down on her.
Keep your head where I can see it! Image: House of the Dragon.
At one point, she says, “If only you’d been born first, my favourite son.”
This was the first appearance viewers have seen of Daemon’s mother as she passed away during childbirth complications.
For the uninitiated, Daemon is also married to his own niece Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy). In this House of the Dragon episode, the visions he has of his mother are sent by witch Alys Rivers (Gayle Rankin) to wig him out.
One person questioned the point of the scene including Daemon’s mother, labelling it as “so cringe, disgusting and absolutely unnecessary” on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Shannen Doherty has sadly died after a long battle with cancer. She was just 53 years old.
Shannen was well known for her roles in Charmed, Beverly Hills, 90210, Heathers, Mallrats and more.
Shannen’s publicist confirmed the tragic news to PEOPLE overnight.

Shannen Doherty’s publicist confirmed the news
“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty,” Shannen’s longtime publicist, Leslie Sloane, confirmed in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE.
“On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease.
“The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie.
“The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace,” the statement continued.
Costars mourn Shannen Doherty’s death
Shannen’s costars and friends have been taking to social media to grieve following the news of her death.
Rose McGowan, who starred in Charmed following Shannen’s departure from the hit show, remembered her friend as a “soft-hearted badass” with the “heart of a lion”.
Jennie Garth starred in Beverly Hills, 90210 with Shannen, both in the original version of the series and the 90210 reboot which started airing in 2008.
“I am still processing my tremendous grief over the loss of my long-time friend Shannen, the woman I have often described as one of the strongest people I have ever known,” Jennie wrote alongside photos of the pair from their early Beverly Hills, 90210 days.
Shenae Grimes-Beech, who played Annie Wilson in the 90210 reboot alongside Shannen, shared her tribute on Instagram Reels.
“To the icon, the legend, the take-no-sh!t WARRIOR of a woman, Shannen Doherty… thank you for inspiring me in more ways than I can bring myself to put into words right now,” Shenae wrote alongside a video she posted to Instagram.
“You paved the way and it was an absolute privilege and honour to follow in your footsteps.”
Watch her full video and read what she had to say about Shannen’s inspiration in the post below.
Tori Spelling wrote “I don’t have outward words yet… but we KNEW and that’s what matters” to her Instagram Stories alongside a selfie of her and Shannen.

Shannen Doherty cause of death
Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer almost a decade ago. She confirmed the news in August 2015 when she was aged 44.
“Yes, I have breast cancer, and I am currently undergoing treatment,” the actress said in a statement to PEOPLE at the time.
Two years later Shannen went into remission but announced in 2020 that the cancer had returned as Stage 4. It was made public in court documents that her cancer was terminal, as reported by TODAY.
Shannen underwent brain surgery in 2023 following the cancer metastasising to her bones and brain.
Shannen had been open and honest about her condition in her ‘Let’s Be Clear’ podcast, sharing that earlier treatment protocols were no longer working.
Our thoughts are with Shannen’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
The Married At First Sight 2024 drama is still in full force with Sara Mesa and Lauren Dunn calling out MAFS groom Tim Calwell for his latest Instagram Reel.
But now the rest of the MAFS cast have gotten involved, as they do, and the word ‘drama’ just doesn’t cut it.
Keep reading to catch up on everything from start to finish.
What did Tim post on Instagram?
Tim shared a video to his 111,000 Instagram followers which featured Tim doing activities with his new girlfriend, Barbara Griebeler, attending a few appointments and showing a car with a sign reading, “WARNING! 100% BITCH”.
“This car reminds me of someone,” Tim’s voiceover said.
Sara, who was fake-married to Tim during the experiment, took to Instagram Stories to express her frustration.
What Sara said about Tim’s reel
“If my partner put a video of us doing cute things together on the internet for the world to see and then subliminally took a dig at his ex-girlfriend, I would be livid. Livid,” Sara said in her Instagram Stories.
Sara took to Instagram Stories to air her thoughts about Tim’s reel. Image: @saramessy
“I hope that she’s still okay that you mentioned me in there, regardless of whether it’s calling me ‘100% Bitch’. Don’t you think that it’s time to move on and give her that respect as well?” Sara asked.
Sara also suggested that there was a side of Tim not shown on MAFS Season 11.
“That reel that you made including me is giving insecure and that is the man that you showed to me the whole time on the show. And I really wish that people could have seen that side.”
What Lauren had to say about Tim’s reel
Sara’s MAFS bestie, Lauren, also entered the chat in her own Q&A on Instagram Stories.
Lauren entered the chat to call Tim out for using the word “Bitch”. Source: @lauren_funn_
“Do these men not get it? We just don’t call women bitches in 2024,” Lauren said.
“The men in our season, they just weren’t it. They just don’t understand society and what’s acceptable and what’s not acceptable,” she continued.
“Just a lack of intelligence and I can’t argue with stupid people.”
Lauren also noted that she was sent the video because she doesn’t follow Tim.
What Tim had to say about his reel
Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle!, Tim said that he didn’t mention anyone specifically.
“I didn’t actually mention anyone at all! It seems like everyone is projecting their own thoughts onto my reel,” he told Yahoo Lifestyle!
“I like talking about my life experiences, regardless of if that chapter in my life is closed. MAFS is certainly a unique experience and I’ll likely keep sharing mine.”
What the MAFS cast are saying about the post
When the account @sodramaticpodcast_ posted Sara’s Instagram Story on their own page, fellow MAFS 2024 cast member Eden Harper entered the chat.
The video moment the cast are talking about. Image: @timcalwell
“So Sara can call Cass [Allen] a c****, Lauren call Jono [McCullough] a snake, dog, c*** (to name a few),” Eden wrote in the comments section.
“But that’s funny and lighthearted… It’s only unacceptable and wrong when Tim does it? The double standards are laughable.”
MAFS intruder Michael Felix added, “Louder for the people in the back” and Jono wrote, “Double standard queens.”
When asked by Chattr what her thoughts are about Sara and Lauren calling out Tim’s behaviour, she made it clear that what Tim said was “inappropriate”.
“I don’t think there was any malicious intent from Tim, but it’s definitely important for him to understand that using that kind of language is inappropriate and can be really damaging,” Eden told Chattr.
“However, I also believe that Lauren and Sara need to take some accountability for the name calling, insults, and bullying behaviour that they constantly demonstrate themselves.”
What do Lauren and Sara think about their cast’s comments?
In response to the “double standards” claims of her cast mates, Sara argued that “two wrongs don’t make a right”.
“Just because I did wrong doesn’t mean that Tim gets a hall pass for alluding to calling me a bitch,” Sara told Chattr.
“I apologised to Cassandra,” Sara added, in response to calling her the C word.
“That is the only time I use vulgar language to someone. And I would never do that publicly on the internet for the world to see.”
Lauren responded to the comments from her MAFS cast mates in a follow-up video on Instagram.
“I was the queen of the insult. I understand that. The purpose of what we’re talking about is men with a platform perpetuating language that is violent to women.”
MAFS continue to deliver lessons in what’s acceptable even without them all on our screens, no John Aiken required.
As with many celebrities you see and hear about, Will Ferrell is not actually the Stepbrothers actor’s real name.
In fact, Ferrell rarely gets addressed by his real name and would get “so embarrassed” if it was ever brought up.
In celebration of Anchorman‘s 20th anniversary, Ferrel joined his costar Christina Applegate and Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Big Sky) on their MeSsy podcast, where he discussed his legal name.
“It wasn’t my choice,” Will said on his legal name. Image: FOX Searchlight
What is Will Ferrell’s real name?
Ferrell’s legal name is John William Ferrell.
Discussing his youth with Applegate, Ferrell mentioned that he was able to make friends easily thanks to “being funny”.
However, he mentioned that the start of every school year could be quite embarrassing for him thanks to his real name rearing its head.
“This is a minor thing in terms of — it’s not really even trauma — but I remember feeling so embarrassed because my real name is John, John William Ferrell, so first day of school, I’d be John,” Ferrel recalled on the podcast.
“The teacher would be like ‘John Ferrell?’ and it was so embarrassing to me to have to say ‘Here, but I go by Will, I don’t go by John.’ “
Does Ferrell ever use his real first name?
Ferrell noted it took a while for his teachers to remember that he actually went by Will and not John, which was “excruciating”.
He also explained that kids at school would ask about his name after hearing him correct the teachers.
“I don’t know why that was so embarrassing to me to have to explain ‘I’m actually Will’,” he said.
“My parents named [me] John but they called me Will. I grew up as Will, but on a rule sheet, my legal name is John Ferrell.”
Ferrell told Applegate that he doesn’t like his legal name because it wasn’t his “choice”.
To be fair, I know a few people who’ve gone by their middle name their whole lives.
If you’re keen to love some lamp after reading this, you can watch Anchorman on Stan.
If you think that Cam from Modern Family — Eric Stonestreet — is likely the loveliest person in the world, podcast host Taylor Strecker‘s firsthand opinion of the actor is here to shake things up.
During an episode of Amazon Live’s In Bed With Paige DeSorbo (if you don’t listen to her Giggly Squad podcast with Hannah Berner, you should), Strecker did not hold back on her experience with the Modern Family star.
Well, this should be interesting! Image: Modern Family
“Who’s the worst guest you’ve ever had on your podcast?” DeSorbo asked Strecker, who is the host of the Taste of Taylor podcast.
Unfazed, Strecker dropped Stonestreet’s name like the hot tea it is.
“He’s [Cameron Tucker] from Modern Family, and he’s like the chubby, jolly, sweet, funny one,” Strecker clarified when DeSorbo didn’t recognise the name.
“Could he be anything but… nasty!”
Strecker explained she quickly learned he was on her podcast to promote none other than Pepto-Bismol.
For the uninitiated, Pepto-Bismol is an anti-diarrhoea medication that’s a staple in American households but not available in Australia.
“So we’re chatting away, and I’m being my adorable self, and then he hits me with, ‘So when are we gonna talk about Pepto-Bismol?’”
Trying to roll with it, Strecker joked, “I have hemorrhoids. I’m the queen of diarrhea. I love Pepto-Bismol! We can talk about whatever you want.”
That was when she explained that things got a little sassy, if you will.
“And he said to me — and I quote — ‘Somebody didn’t do their homework.,” Strecker recalled.
As someone who interviews people in media regularly, that’s a pretty rough thing to hear.
“I said, ‘I’m sorry. Am I getting paid by Pepto-Bismol? No. So that’s your job to figure out, not mine.”
You know when people are relaying a story and it’s unclear if they actually said that thing or just thought it in response? I really hope she said that to him for the popcorn value alone.
It’s understood that the podcast appearance was likely around the time of his 2011 partnership with Pepto-Bismol for a Feeding America campaign.
I’d love to know the thoughts of whoever was the Pepto-Bismol publicist at the time. You know what they say? There are 17 sides to every story.
Esteemed US comedian Chelsea Handler told The Project host Sam Taunton exactly how she felt about the Margot Robbie pregnancy joke he made and it wasn’t pretty.
Rumours quickly spread yesterday that Robbie and her partner, Tom Ackerley, were expecting their first child after paparazzi shots of the actress sporting an exposed stomach surfaced.
As Australia’s golden girl, it’s no surprise that Robbie’s reported pregnancy with Ackerley was a topic of conversation on the entertainment news program, The Project.
What was the Margot Robbie pregnancy joke?
“I’ve seen the Barbie movie by the way,” Taunton said. “It’s going to have to be a C-section.”
The joke didn’t immediately land with his cohosts, who started asking what he meant.
Later in The Project episode, which aired Monday, June 8, Handler joined the desk to promote her upcoming comedy tour titled ‘Little Big Bitch’.
“Before you get started, I want to touch on your Barbie joke,” Handler told Taunton.
“How can you even make a joke like that when you know a comedian is coming on the show? That’s humiliating for both of us,” she roasted him.
“It was a really bad joke. I felt so bad for you.”
Obviously aware of the cringe-worthy joke, Taunton told Handler that he was hoping it would never be brought up again.
“I had to,” Handler replied.
Sarah Harris and Tunny looked visibly uncomfortable as the exchange was happening, but also like they were low-key loving it. Who doesn’t love a good roast of their mate?
While it was definitely a case of two comedians joking with one another, it’s got to hurt to be schooled by someone so iconic on national television!
Handler’s tour kicks off in Melbourne Tuesday, July 9, and will also stop in Brisbane and Sydney. Buy tickets here.
If you’re looking for a chance at love with your very own farmer than we have some good news for you — Farmer Wants A Wife 2025 is taking applications. Right now! Keep reading for how to apply.

Farmer Want A Wife 2025: How to apply
Farmer Wants A Wife applications have officially opened via the show’s official website.
“Many Aussie farmers have found love through Farmer Wants a Wife Australia,” reads the application page via casting company MyCastingNet.

What does the Farmer Wants A Wife Application involve?
Farmer Wants A Wife applications require three photographs, including a headshot, a full-length shot and a photo where you’re holding the day’s date. I guess that last one helps rule out catfishing?

MasterChef Australia 2024 has been a j-o-u-r-n-e-y, and now that we’re finally at the tail end of the season, we can confirm when the finale will air.
Throughout the season we’ve had impressive celebrity appearances, like Jamie Oliver and Curtis Stone, as well as some seriously drool-worthy dishes.
While this season’s been nothing short of spectacular, like all good things, it must come to an end.
When is the MasterChef Australia 2024 finale on?
With just five contestants remaining, next week will see the competition enter Finals Week.
As per usual, the remaining Home Cooks will be whittled down until just three two are left to battle it out in the season’s final episode.
Channel 10 has confirmed to Chattr that this season’s MasterChef Australia finale will air on Tuesday, 16 July.
Who’s still in the competition?
At the time of writing, five contestants are still in the running for the MasterChef Australia 2024 finale.
Nat, Mimi, Josh ‘Pezza’ Perry, Harry and Sav will all take part in Finals Week in the hope of taking out the competition.
What is the MasterChef Australia 2024 prize?
The last standing contestant will, of course, receive bragging rights, as well as a whopping $250,000 cash prize. They’ll also (probably) gain a blue tick on Instagram. Winning!
What will happen during the MasterChef Australia Finals Week?
The episode that airs on Sunday July 7, will see one of the remaining five contestants eliminated. They will face off with some of the world’s most extreme ingredients and must select one ingredient to tame.
On Monday, the top four will tackle their final mystery box of the season. Under each mystery box is a golden ticket, and the winner of the challenge will be the first home cook to secure their place in the MasterChef Australia semi-final.
In the final challenge of the week on Tuesday, fish king Josh Niland will set a three-hour pressure test that will push everyone to their limits. Which seafood aficionado Harry will probably be excited about (if he makes it past Sunday’s elim ep).
The MasterChef Australia 2024 Finale will air on Tuesday, 16 July on Channel 10 and 10Play at 7:30pm.

Jessica Gunning wowed audiences around the world with her groundbreaking portrayal of Martha in the Netflix sensation Baby Reindeer.
However, news has just surfaced that there was another name in the mix for the role and I’m not sure how to feel about it.
According to a report by Variety, a source has claimed that agents for creator Richard Gadd (who also wrote and starred in Baby Reindeer as himself) “pushed aggressively” for Melissa McCarthy to play the leading role of Martha.
While McCarthy is known for her comedic roles such as her ones in Bridesmaids, The Heat and more, she has also shown her depth and more serious side in other roles such as Can You Ever Forgive Me? in 2018.
“A knowledgeable source says McCarthy met Gadd about the role but ultimately wasn’t interested,” the Variety report said.
“Those familiar with the production say Gadd micromanaged casting and fired his CAA agents after they and Netflix pushed aggressively for Melissa McCarthy to be cast as Martha.”
I don’t doubt that McCarthy would’ve been phenomenal in the role of Martha just like she nails every other character she’s portrayed, but Gunning’s casting was so perfect it’s hard to imagine the shoes being filled by anyone else.
Honestly, the way she brought so many layers to such a complex character was incredible.
About Baby Reindeer
Baby Reindeer has been met with high acclaim since the seven-episode series premiered on Netflix in April 2024.
Fiona Harvey (the woman claiming to be the real-life Martha) has since accused Gadd of lying in a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan.
Harvey has filed a $255 million lawsuit against Netflix, suing for defamation, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and more.
You can stream every episode of Baby Reindeer on Netflix (if you haven’t already).
You know what they say: oral sex sells. OK, maybe that’s not quite it, but the gobby scene in the latest episode of House of the Dragon sure is getting people talking about the hit show.
The Game of Thrones spinoff has shocked viewers of Season 2, Episode 3 thanks to a massive penis (or schlong, wang, meat slapper for the more fun among you) alongside a spot of confronting blowjob activity.
It happened around halfway through the episode, which I know not from watching (it’s on my list) but because of how wild the internet’s going over it.
So how does a bit of head happen mid-episode, you ask? Well, King Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) treated his soldiers to a cheeky night out at a brothel — as you do — following many drinks.
When they rock up to said brothel, King Aegon opens a set of curtains to reveal a bunch of people getting jiggy with it.
The first curtain? A rather large penis. In a mouth. In front of all of our salads.
In case you were wondering: it’s been widely reported that the penis in question was a prosthetic one.
More explicit sex acts were revealed as he continued pulling back curtains, but nothing quite slapped viewers in the face like that first scenario.
The Game of Thrones universe is not a stranger to nudity and sex scenes. In the same episode, there is a full-frontal nude scene of Prince Aemond Targaryen (played by Ewan Mitchell).
Regardless, nothing prepared The House of the Dragon community for what they saw in Season 2, Episode 3.
“Was not expecting an explicit blowjob then Aemond full frontal in the span of 2 minutes,” a Redditor wrote.
If you want to see what went down for yourself (no judgement), then you can stream The House of Dragon on BINGE.
There’s some strong intel that Home and Away‘s golden girl — none other than OG Kate Ritchie — could be returning to Summer Bay. And you know what? I think it’s what the show needs.
Kate Richie played Sally Fletcher on the Australian soap from 1988 until 2008 and her character absolutely went through it throughout her 20-year stint.
Her storylines included (but were not limited to) a dead husband, a long-lost brother and an imaginary friend. What a trooper!
Sally was an icon in Summer Bay and our television screens alike. There’s no doubt about it. And in my humble opinion, Home and Away has lost the plot in the years since she left the show.
That’s why I’m absolutely rooting for all these rumours about her returning to be true. But will it be enough, or is the show too far gone?
Will Kate Richie return to Home and Away?
Last year, Richie told her radio co-hosts on the Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael “Wippa” Wipfli that she’d definitely be back for a final episode of the show — not unlike Kylie Minogue returning from the final episode of Neighbours (or what we thought was the final episode).
“If Ray Meagher (Alf Stewart) asked me to come back, to change the sheets in the Caravan Park, I’d be there,” Richie told her cohosts in 2023.
“I know you’re going back to the bay,” Wippa pushed. “I’ve seen your emails as I sit next to you in the office.”
“No you don’t, you have bad eyes,” Richie laughed back.
Wippa went on to say that he wanted to get “Home & Away fans warmed up” by “rolling out a couple of scenes here at Nova”. As he delved further into his plans, Kate asked:
“What is the point of this? Why are you trying to make me look silly, and you’re actually trying to blow an exclusive.”
The rumours of Ritchie’s Home and Away return come after Meagher told TV Tonight that the longtime soap has lost its way.
When Ritchie started on the show, Home and Away was about a seaside community with the Fletcher family taking in foster children.
In recent times, however, the show became more focused on harder-hitting storylines, like crime, since the infamous “River Boys” (Lincoln Younes, Steve Peacocke and Dan Ewing) of 2011.
“I mean, that was just a great period. But was it Summer Bay? Hmmm …. in my humble opinion, not to that extent.”
But can any one person actually save Summer Bay?
While it seems like a return from Richie could help to get Home and Away bring back some lost viewers, there’d need to be more than just her reprised character to save the soap.
We’ve seen the return of other Home and Away OGs before like Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) and Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons), however, the show’s storylines and character mix were still different to its heyday.
Take Summer Bay High, for example. Not having the high school (we haven’t seen it since 2019) gaping hole in the current Home and Away format.
When a photo of ex-Summer Bay High students Casey Braxton (Younes), Sasha Bezmel (Demi Harman), Spencer Harrington (Andrew Morley) and Maddy Osborne (Kassandra Clementi) was posted to a popular Facebook group, fans were quick to get nostalgic.
“I wish they would use the school scenes again,” one fan wrote.
“I loved that it USED [to] encompass most age groups, if I am entirely honest I no longer get sad if I miss a[n] episode or two, or seven,” wrote another.
“Bring back those days. The present storylines are ridiculous.”
Perhaps if Sally comes back and resumes her role as a teacher, and they bring back a whole bunch of teenagers that Australia’s youth can relate to, then Home and Away might be in with a fighting chance?
If they could bring back Kim Hyde (Chris Hemsworth) while they’re at it, that’d be great.
Last night, fan favourite Lachlan “Lochy” Whittle‘s time in the MasterChef kitchen came to a devastating end after he lost the time auction elimination challenge to fellow contestant (and bestie), Harry Butterfield.
“I’m just really proud of the food that I was able to put up,” Whittle reflects, speaking with Chattr.
“To not have the apparatus of what I’m so used to and what I’m actually really good at, to be able to get as deep in the competition as I did. I am extremely proud of that moment.”
Whittle describes the solace he finds in cooking and the release it gives him; something he looks forward to after work, even on the “bad days.”
“[You] just put on an album and cook something delicious and just groove to some music, and everything’s going to be all right again,” he says.
Whittle’s story has touched the hearts of many a MasterChef viewer after the heartbreaking reveal that his mother, Jan, passed away from Huntington’s Disease just days before filming.
The news came out during the Mum Cook challenge episode, along with another poignant revelation: that Whittle has since discovered he has inherited the degenerative brain condition.
Despite not having a conventional upbringing, he recalls, one where disease was an uncannily familiar character, but “always a difficult thing,” Whittle thanks his mum for giving him the power in that cook “to be able to push through, and realise that no matter what there is, I can overcome obstacles and keep pushing forward.”
He remembers that challenging day on the Masterchef floor, “the crew and the other contestants and even the judges knew what I was going through, and the support that I had on that day was phenomenal.”
Thinking about some of his favourite moments from the show, Whittle is grateful for the close friendship he struck up with kitchen mate, Harry Butterfield.
“It means the world to be able to be able to come into the competition and be able to click with somebody like Harry from day one,” he says.
“To have that kind of support system, that we would do so much together on our mornings to help get into the zone. Going into the kitchen and cooking every day, and then being able to come back and debrief with each other, cook for each other, and just talk about food and support each other’s ideas… it just made it so, so great.”
The ultimate Masterchef ‘bromance’ – can we please make ‘Hochy’ a thing?
He also fondly calls to mind “a really cool moment” that happened with esteemed Vietnamese-Australian chef and restaurateur, Luke Nguyen. It was particularly significant to him, given it was Nguyen who first made Whittle “fall in love” with Vietnamese cuisine.
“I actually travelled to Vietnam because of falling in love with him and his show and how he talks about food,” says Whitall.
“In my first cook in that elimination, I tried to really ‘MasterChef’ something on a traditional Vietnamese dish, and just didn’t pull it off.”
Despite the dish, short rib Bo La Lot, being what he estimates to be around 15 minutes away from what he envisioned, Whittle describes “the little message that Luke wrote to me in my Luke Nguyen Vietnam cookbook, which was absolutely beautiful, that made me feel so good about where my head was at.”
Lochy in the kitchen with Luke Nguyen – Instagram @lochycooks
“Don’t be surprised if you see that coming up in one of my restaurants, because I thought that was a fabulous idea,” wrote Nguyen.
The chef also gave a cheeky “Ps.” that he would be nabbing the wing bean and green mango pickle recipe Whittle used in his subsequent ghee-seared kingfish cook.
“I pride myself on Vietnamese cooking, and I tried to do a lot in that cook to really impress him. I may have bitten off more than I could chew, especially for a dish I hadn’t tested or done before,” Whittle admits.
“But to have that message after not being eliminated come down right in front of me really made me feel special about that.”

If Harry Jowsey‘s actions on the latest season of Netflix’s Perfect Match didn’t shock you then the serious coin he can make on Instagram sure will.
The 27-year-old Australian reality TV star — who shot to fame on Netflix’s Too Hot Too Handle debut season in 2020 — has an impressive 4.4 million followers on Instagram alone.
Jowsey shot to fame in 2020 on the debut season of Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle. (Image: @harryjowsey.)
That’s a lot of potential influence and reach, something that is reflected in his estimated earnings on the platform.
As reported by PEDESTRIAN.TV, talent agency Hunter Talent has shared that Jowsey could charge just over $20,000 per post on the platform. Meanwhile, all a selfie costs me is my dignity.
Hear me out but I reckon I could also make $20K a post if I looked like this. And went on reality TV. Four times. (Image: @harryjowsey.)
In addition to his Instagram followers, Jowsey also has a podcast and YouTube channel to further attract brands into working with him.
He is also consistently re-entering the spotlight, following his reality TV debut in the midst of a global lockdown with stints on Dancing With The Stars, The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition and most recently the second season of Perfect Match.
Considering the cheeky possum knows how to cause a stir on screen, it’s safe to assume that each stint brings some increased engagement to Jowsey’s platforms.
In the latest season of Perfect Match, Jowsey was caught lying to his match on the show about kissing another contestant.
Is the pope catholic? (Image: Netflix.)
In the past, he was televised proposing to Francesca Farago following their rollercoaster romance on Too Hot To Handle.
The bloke does some questionable shit but boy does he know how to make good television. And with an estimated $20,000 price tag, I’m assuming he can do the same thing for Instagram ads.
There are a lot of things I’m still forgiving Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes for (like that musical episode — why?) but the departure of Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) from the Seattle Grace roster is pretty high on that list.
Today Dane — the man who played McStreamy before he rudely McLeft us — has helped us inch closer to closure by clarifying why he was savagely booted from the wildly successful television drama.
Not mad, just disappointed. (Image: Grey’s Anatomy.)
(Side note: I’m going to assume if you’re here you know what happened to Dane’s character in Grey’s Anatomy Season 9 but, on the off chance you don’t, I should let you know that this article will include spoilers.)
In a new podcast episode of Dax Shepard‘s Armchair Expert, Dane opened up about his struggles with drugs and alcohol, however, clarified that it wasn’t the reason he left Grey’s Anatomy.
In fact, he basically says he didn’t leave at all — at least not on his own accord.
“I didn’t leave so much as I think I was let go,” Dane explained.
“I was struggling. They didn’t let me go because of that, although it definitely didn’t help”.
The 51-year-old went on to say that he was let go after his six-year stint on the medical drama due to his pay-check.
“I was starting to become – as most of these actors who have spent significant time on the show – you start to become very expensive for the network,” Dane told Shepard.
“And the network knows that the show is going to do what it’s going to do irrespective of who they keep on it – as long as they have their [Meredith] Grey they were fine.”
Mark Sloan left our television screens in 2012, returning once as a special guest in 2021. (Image: Grey’s Anatomy.)
To refresh your memory, Dane was killed off following a fatal plane accident.
It was extra hard pill to swallow considering we had lost Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh) — another main character and McSteamy’s longtime love interest — just a few episodes prior.
It’s still one of the most talked about storylines of the show’s 20-season strong run on air.
Me every time I watch the Season 8 finale. (Image: Grey’s Anatomy.)
The deaths of the pair were so impactful that Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital was renamed the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in tribute.
Dane joined Grey’s Anatomy in Season Two which aired back in 2006.
“I wasn’t the same guy they had hired. So I had understood when I was let go,” Dane explained on the podcast.
“And Shonda was really great,” Dane clarified of the mastermind behind the show.
“She protected us fiercely. She protected us publicly. She protected us privately…,” he continued.
“But I was probably fired. It wasn’t ceremoniously like, ‘You’re fired,’ it was just like, ‘You’re not coming back.’”
They say reasons can provide understanding and closure, but I’m not sure these ones are going to help me sleep any better at night. Especially when my dreams involve an alternate universe where Mark and Lexie have several babies.
But at least Dane can get decent shut-eye knowing that the show peaked while he was on it?

Former MAFS stars Brett and Angel Renall and Benjamin Blackwell shared the news of Andrew’s death to Instagram, as reported by NZ Herald.
“It’s with the heaviest hearts we’ve come together to acknowledge the passing of Andrew Jury,” the statement read.
“We had the absolute pleasure of filming and participating in a show which leaves us intricately linked for a lifetime.”

Andrew’s time on MAFS NZ
Andrew appeared in MAFS NZ Season 1 back in 2017 when he was aged 26. He was matched with bride Vicky Gleeson-Stokes but the pair were not able to make the relationship work beyond the reality TV show.
A year after his time on MAFS, Andrew publicly questioned the show’s ethics, saying he and his match, Vicky, were complete opposites.

Andrew also made accusations about the filming conditions while on the show, as reported by NZ Herald.
Warner Bros Discovery — the company that brings MAFS NZ to screens — has said that they take their duty of care “extremely seriously”.
“Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) expresses our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Andrew Jury,” a WBD spokesperson told NZ Herald.
“WBD takes duty of care extremely seriously and has protocols in place regarding the wellbeing of cast and crew.
“All MAFS NZ contributors have access to mental health professionals throughout the process, including pre-screening, during production and after broadcast.”
Tributes flow from MAFS cast-mates
Andrew was described by his fellow MAFS cast-mates as “the life of the party”.

This gave their first meeting an unfinished business energy, with Jason seeming pleased and surprised to see someone he already had a spark with. Kimberley also made it clear she could picture herself fitting into Jason’s country lifestyle, which showed that she could be real competition against his top two, Logan and Poppy.
After their date, Jason decided to bring Kimberley back to the farm, where things became instantly awkward with Logan and Poppy. The original women were less-than-impressed by a newcomer arriving so late, and this is before they’ve found out she already has a connection with Jason.
Logan was particularly unimpressed by Kimberley’s cowboy-style outfit, saying she “wouldn’t wear the hat or the boots,” while the atmosphere between the women felt frosty from the start.
Kimberley’s awkward arrival turned Jason’s farm into a much more uneven competition, which got us wondering: how exactly do Jason and Kimberley know each other? Read on for their full history and spoiler: it’s probably not what you expect.
What has Kimberley said about her past with Jason from Farmer Wants A Wife?
Back in 2022, Jason and Kimberley connected in a Facebook group for, umm… Farmer Wants A Wife fans. Weird, right?
After Kimberley reached out to Jason in the FWAW Facebook group, they started speaking over messages. “We chatted occasionally over the years, but it was never a relationship,” Kimberley told WHO. “We were simply two people who had connected online and stayed in touch from time to time.”
However, they never met in person and their relationship only existed online. “We never met in person before the show. We discussed the possibility of meeting at one stage in Queensland, but it never eventuated as I wasn’t comfortable travelling interstate to meet someone I’d only spoken to online,” she said.
Jason and Kimberley’s first date. Image: Channel 7.
In an interview with Pedestrian, Kimberley addressed whether she thought she had an unfair advantage over Logan and Poppy by already knowing Jason. “I didn’t apply to come in late or ask for any special treatment. Being chosen as the family pick wasn’t something I had any control over,” she said.
“Regardless of how I entered the experience, Jason and I still had to spend time together and work out whether there was a genuine connection and potential for a relationship.”
What has Jason said about his history with Kimberley from Farmer Wants A Wife?
In an interview with 2DayFM Breakfast with Nath and Emma, Jason spilled some real tea about Kimberley. He revealed that he actually requested Kimberley when he applied. “I did mention that I knew Kimberley and we had only spoken on Messenger. We hadn’t really met, but I did go to Melbourne for a dairy trip to meet up but she had other things on,” he said.
This was two years ago and the farmer was left scratching his head when she decided to come on the show, even though she had rejected him in the past. “I’m not sure why [she applied],” he admitted.
Jason went on to suggest that it was producers who encouraged his sister to pick a blast from his past. “I’m not sure how that worked, but maybe they did drop that [idea] to my sister.”
And the tea kept on flowing, as Jason went on to admit that he had regrets about sending one girl home. “I probably would have brought back Bene,” instead of Jessie, he said. In fact, he revealed that he and Bene have stayed in contact. “She has mentioned she wants to come to the farm, she brought some bright pink gumboots, apparently.”
Love that for her but umm, maybe not for Farmer Jason’s chosen winner!
Farmer Wants A Wife airs Sunday and Monday on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
MasterChef Australia 2026 is back on our screens for another year, and as new contestants battle it out for the ultimate cooking title, the heat in the kitchen is already warming up.
With a brand new season comes 24 of Australia’s most talented home cooks are being thrown into high-stakes challenges, including Pressure Tests, Mystery Box challenges, Service Challenges and, of course, those dreaded elimination challenges, all led by this year’s MasterChef Australia judging panel — Andy Allen, Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
Of course, MasterChef has made global headlines with a very royal announcement: Meghan Markle is appearing as a guest judge. Not only will Meghan’s arrival keep these cooks under pressure, but Robert Irwin, Jimmy and Jane Barnes, Jimmy Wong and Maggie Beer are slated to throw some local star power into the mix.
While MasterChef is set to follow the format that audiences know and love, this season is all about the contestants’ personal journeys, as many of this year’s contestants draw from crossroads in their lives — whether that be career changes, family influences, migration and loss — as critical to their cooking identity.
As we know, there can be only one winner of MasterChef, which means two contestants will pip their fellow contestants at the post and face off at the grand finale. There, one of them will be crowned the winner of MasterChef and walk away with $250,000, the title, and more culinary opportunities than you can shake a stick at.
So, the countdown is on: let’s see who can handle the heat in the MasterChef kitchen as it’s turned up to fever pitch, and who is sent home packing. If the latest instalment is anything like previous seasons, there’s likely going to be some shocking and heartbreaking eliminations along the way.
Read on to find out who left MasterChef so far.
Who has been eliminated from the MasterChef kitchen so far?
Grace King
Grace narrowly missed out on being a part of MasterChef Australia 2026’s Top 10, when she was eliminated at the last hurdle during a Pressure Test set by dessert queen Kirsten Tibballs.
Emily, Grace, Luke and Aaron landed at the bottom and faced off in a Black Apron challenge, where they had to recreate Kirsten Tibballs’ intricate Chocolate Iris dessert, which featured more than 100 steps.
The judges deemed that Grace’s interior elements weren’t properly formed and she was sent home from the competition.
“I’m obviously crushed to be leaving this close to top 10, but I think I’m leaving on a really incredible note. I’ve leaving this competition with so much knowledge, and so much love,” Grace said after learning that she was eliminated.
Bella Di Conzi

Bella was eliminated from MasterChef Australia for the second time when Curtis Stone returned to the MasterChef kitchen for a high-stakes 60-minute elimination cook.
There was a few big mistakes made by contestants, including Grace, who put her steak in the fridge which resulted in an uneven cook, and Alyona who served an overcooked piece of meat to the judges.
However, it was Bella whose dish the judges deemed the weakest. She served up Thai beef noodles with a chilled broth and they thought her choice of noodle didn’t work, and the meat was undercooked, leading to her elimination.
Jackie Yu
Jackie was eliminated from MasterChef after her dessert went wrong. She made a brown butter financier and while the judges agreed that they liked the orange and cinnamon ice cream she served up, they said her mint and lime granita shouldn’t have been included in the dish. But, the biggest flaw was that her dessert was raw in the middle, ultimately leading to her elimination.
“I’ve absolutely loved it,” Jackie said of her time in the MasterChef kitchen. “This is literally like the best thing I’ve ever done and being around these people is just so inspiring.”
“When I saw the line up i was like I don’t have a chance these guys are amazing and I just feel very lucky and very grateful so yeah thank you all for having me.”
Dot McHugh
Dot McHugh on MasterChef Australia. Image: Ten.
Dot McHugh was the latest fave eliminated from MasterChef Australia 2026 in episode 31, which wrapped up Aussie Classics Week with a native ingredients challenge set by guest judge Robert Irwin.
Robert brought in some of his favourite Australian native ingredients and warned the contestants to use them carefully, given how powerful they can be. Dot chose river mint and made river mint doughnuts — a dish Robert was particularly excited to try.
Sadly, the risk didn’t pay off. The river mint overpowered the entire dish, leaving it unbalanced and sending Dot home in a shock elimination. Her exit hit hard because Dot had been considered one of the season’s strongest home cooks, with many fans tipping her as a potential finalist.
Jack Hosking
Jack Hosking on MasterChef Australia. Image: Ten.
Jock Hosking shocked fans when he was eliminated during Episode 29 after being a front runner all season. His MasterChef demise began when the contestants were asked to make a dish that featured pork as the star.
Jack opted for an air fryer pork belly with pickled salad and roasted apple purée dish, and while he was happy with what he served up, the judges didn’t share the same opinion. They said the pork itself wasn’t cooked consistently and that the dish lacked a clear direction.
“It’s been so surreal to cook for all you beautiful people,” Jack said after his elimination was announced. “I’ve met some lifelong friends… I just want to keep learning… I’m really proud of myself.”
Lydia Kamperos
Lydia Kamperos on MasterChef Australia. Image: Ten.
Lydia was up against Hannah, Annabel and Alyona after scoring low in the Perfect Pairs Challenge, as well as Vinnie, who was automatically in the elimination round after missing the challenge due to illness. However, he opted to use his immunity pin, meaning it was just the women facing off to see who would be sent home.
The contestants were presented with four covered ingredient tables and told that one would be revealed every 15 minutes. However, each reveal would cut into their preparation and cooking time.
Lydia chose the first ingredient table, which featured herbs, spices and alliums, giving her the longest cooking time of 75 minutes. However, her tart still fell short and she was eliminated from the competition.
“This experience has been the most incredible thing I’ve ever experienced. The environment is so nurturing. I’ve enjoyed meeting all of you, the level of sophistication around food is so inspiring,” Lydia told the group upon learning she had been eliminated.
Olaolu Olorunnimbe
Olaolu Olorunnimbe on MasterChef Australia. Image: Ten.
Olaolu Olorunnimbe struggled in the perfect pairing challenge, which required contestants to choose one of five flavour combinations to work with during a 60-second cook.
Ultimately, Olaolu’s dish of Breakfast trifle with whipped yogurt, macerated pineapple and coconut crumb was deemed one of the weakest along with Luke’s En Papillote.
Poh said that Olaolu’s coconut and pineapple ingredients weren’t the start of his dish, like the brief asked, and called the creation “incredibly basic”. All four judges deemed his dish the weakest and he was sent home.
“I’ve got some real mixed feelings right now, it’s never nice hearing your food didn’t hit the mark, but at the same time, I’m super proud of how long I’ve been here and I’m so excited I’ve learned so much,” he said after his elimination was announced.
“It’s been cool to share some Nigerian flavours with all of Australia, I really want to continue to showcase Nigerian food and whatever allows me to do that, I’ll be chasing it down.”
Miin Wei Looi
Miin on MasterChef. Image: Ten.
Miin Wei Looi unofficially became a fan fave after the May 20 Pressure Test, which saw him doubt himself after recreating Chef Rosheen Kaul’s Chou Farci. But while it wasn’t his time to leave the competition then, a heritage challenge aired on May 26 saw him eliminated from the competition.
Miin showcased his Malaysian heritage with a dish which was his mum’s family recipe, called Kiam Chye Ark, which is a salted vegetable duck soup. To fit the dish within the time constraints, Miin opted to use a pressure cooker, which ultimately led to his noodles falling apart and causing his elimination.
“Obviously I’m very sad. I tried my best, and obviously today, my best wasn’t good enough,” Miin said upon finding out he was eliminated. “It’s probably one of the best experiences of my life, I’ve met so many amazing people here, I think I’ve made lifelong friends here. It makes my life richer.”
Lucy Mansfield
Lucy Mansfield. Image: Ten.
Lucy Mansfield found herself in a black apron for a Pressure Test alongside Vinnie, Jackie and Miin, and when Jackie decided to play her Immunity Pins, Lucy’s odds of leaving went from one in four to one in three.
The three contestants were given three hours to recreate Rosheen Kaul’s Chou Farci and — between Lucy’s impressive presentation and Miin’s errors along the way — when the time ran out it looked like Lucy had done enough to stay in the competition.
However, things fell apart for her during the judge’s tasting, with them noting that some of her elements were undercooked, leading to textural issues. Her dish was deemed the weakest, and she was eliminated from the competition.
“This has just been the best experience ever and every time I step into this kitchen I feel so lucky to be here and to be cooking for you guys,” Lucy said to the judges before addressing the contestants. “I feel so lucky and grateful to have met all of you, and I’ll miss you guys so much.”
Kanika Gadyok
Kanika on MasterChef. Image: Ten.
Around the World week saw the top 20 MasterChef contestants tackle a mystery ingredient challenge. They were all asked to select a cuisine between Lebanese, Japanese, Italian, Mexican and Vietnamese and they’d picked a secret ingredient was revealed that they were required to champion in the dish.
The bottom three was made up of Jackie who picked Japanese, and Kanika and Olaolu who opted for Mexican. But, it was Kanika’s dish of prawns with chipotle corn and corn salsa that the judges were least impressed with, and she was eliminated from the competition.
“Kanika, eliminations are hard, please promise us that you will continue your journey after you leave,” Jean Christophe told her.
The amateur chef reassured viewers that she won’t be giving up on cooking any time soon.
“It just been an incredible journey, so much exposure to the world of food,” she said. “This is not the last time you’re seeing me, I’m not going to stop here.”
Alita Harvey-Rodriguez
Alita on MasterChef. Image: Ten.
The Black apron challenge on the May 11 episode saw Vinnie and Alita be picked for the bottom two.
“Each of you put something on the plate that had potential, but each of you had critical flaws. Unfortunately, there were too many in yours, Alita,” Poh told the two contestants.
Alita whipped up a dumpling lasagne with buratta. Andy said that while the dumplings were great, they were too hot when the burrata was placed on them, causing it to melt into the lasagna and turned the meat into a “wet meatloaf”.
Meanwhile, Vinnie opted for a pork and gochujang sandwich used pre-made break from the pantry, because the home made focaccia he was working on didn’t cook in time. Andy told him the store-bought bread was a let down, and Sofia said the end result looked like a “sloppy-joe”.
Ultimately, it was Alita’s dish that pleased the judges the least, and she was eliminated from the competition.
“I loved the opportunity to push myself, and to see how good of a cook I can be,” she said when asked her favourite thing about the competition.
Bella Di Conza

The first MasterChef blindside came in the form of Bella Di Conza’s elimination; the 20-year-old recieved a lot of screentime in the first season and her cooking skills were repeatedly praised by the judges.
It all started to go wrong for Bella in the first team challenge, in which she was paired up with Hannah Johnson and Alyona Iljuhhina. The trio’s family feast landed them in the bottom two, meaning they’d compete individually against the three cooks from the other team with the least impressive dish.
In the elimination round, the six contestants were tasked with creating a dish close to their families’ hearts. Bella chose an Apple and Cinnamon Entremet, but the tight 75-minute time limit made it difficult for her to fully perfect the intricate dessert.
She landed in the bottom two aside Hannah, and Sofia delivered the sad news that Bella was eliminated.
“While we really admire your ambition, time got the better of you. There were flaws in most of you elements. I’m so sorry, but we had to say goodbye, Bella.”
Bella took to Instagram after the episode to aired to share that while she was sad about the outcome, she left with her head held high.
“Though every fibre in me aches with disappointment, I couldn’t be more proud of myself for putting up a fight today,” she began.
“Albeit short, my time in the competition has shaped me in many ways. Meeting so many likeminded people on this journey is undoubtedly the biggest win of all. This awesome group care so deeply about food, but moreover about each other. The support I felt from all of them made a world of difference.”
Belinda Gosden
Bella Gosden. Image: Ten.
The third elimination challenge saw the judges create a form of “quick carbs” each — Poh made noodles, Andy made flat bread, Jean Christophe went with pilaf rice and Sofia opted for potato latkes. They asked the contestants to make to choose one of the sides, and make a main meal to accompany it. However, they were only given 36 minutes to complete the two dishes.
Alalou, Belinda and Vinnie were in the bottom three, and Andy said it come down to the quick carb they chose and how well it went with their dish.
“Unfortunately, that means you’re going home, Belinda,” he told the three contestants.
Belinda took the bad news within her stride.
“It’s been fantastic,” Belinda said of her time. “I’ve been watching MasterChef since series one, and now I’m on the show, so you know, dream accomplished. I’ve learned that I would like to now take my cooking to another level. I don’t think you’re ever too old to start again. I’ve had eight career paths, so let’s make number nine.”
Jeff Lam
Jeff Lam on MasterChef. Image: Ten.
The second Elimination Challenge of the season saw Pat, Jackie, Jeff, Luke and Vinnie all tasked with cooking a pie using Maggie Beer’s pastry recipe in the MasterChef Australia kitchen, and the contestant behind the pie that impressed the judges the least would be sent home.
The stakes were risen by the fact that Maggie was on the judging panel, along with the regular crew; Andy, Poh, Sofia and Jean-Christophe.
While every dish had elements that the judges loved, despite his best efforts it was ultimately Jeff’s undercooked pastry that let him down and let to his elimination.
“There was one pie that really suffered, the pastry was undercooked, and the filling lacked balance, which means your time in the MasterChef kitchen has come to an end, Jeff,” Poh told the group.
Jean-Christophe then created Jeff’s iconic new nickname MasterJeff before the group chanted it at him for his exit.
Jeff took the bad news well, saying in a post-elimination interview that he’s leaving the competition with his head held high.
“I came with a dream of the last 11 years to come to MasterChef, and I got that dream, I got the white apron, and nothing could take that away from me. I’m proud of what I achieved, a great experience overall,” he said.
Megs Steel

Megs Steel is a 40-year-old HR consultant from Queensland. Unfortunately, she became the first contestant to be eliminated during the first round of the competition.
For Megs, securing a white apron on MasterChef was the realisation of a long-held dream. With a deep passion for catering, she had always had a dream to open her own restaurant called Megs Place.
Unfortunately, Megs Steel’s journey in the competition was cut short, making her the first contestant to be eliminated this season. During a challenge that asked the contestants to create a dish to represent them as home cooks, Megs served undercooked prawns, which the judges thought was clearly unsatisfactory and she was swiftly sent packing.
“I’m absolutely gutted, but I’ve taken so much, I’ve learned from everyone here, so I just really wanted to thank you all, it was everything I hoped and a million times more,” Megs said upon her elimination.
While the MasterChef judges were clearly disappointed to see her depart, Poh Ling Yeow noted that they looked forward to seeing her restaurant dreams come to fruition.
Reflecting on her exit in a confessional, Megs admitted, “I’m definitely heartbroken that I didn’t get to stay longer,” adding that she was “sad” that she had not had the opportunity to fully showcase her skills.
“I’m extremely grateful. This is a place where dreams are made of, and I had that for a short time.”
MasterChef Australia airs Sunday 7pm and Monday and Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

The full list of nominees for the glitzy awards show was revealed this week, with neither Home and Away nor any of its stars landing a nod ahead of the ceremony airing in August.
Home and Away returned for its 39th season in January. Image: Channel 7
Naturally, the seeming snub from Aussie TV’s biggest night prompted diehard Home and Away fans to share their frustrations, with many taking to the show’s official Facebook gossip page to slam the “sad” and “very disappointing” lack of nominations from the awards body.
Fans say Home and Away’s Logies snub is “ridiculous”
“Maybe they grew tired of Home and Away’s continual success,” one fan wrote, while others quipped they “won’t be voting if Home and Away isn’t there” or said they were “very disappointed that Home and Away isn’t nominated this year or any of the actors.”
“How come Home and Away or its cast aren’t anywhere in the Logies categories?” another user wrote.
“Very disappointed.” Images: Facebook
A bunch of fans thought the snub in the Best Drama Program category was particularly glaring, since the most recent season of Home and Away featured a bunch of explosive storylines including staple character Irene Roberts’ (played by Lynne McGranger) exit from the show after a whopping 33 years in Summer Bay.
In lieu of Home and Away, the Best Drama category nominees included Heartbreak High, RFDS, Dear Life and Watching You, among others.
Elsewhere, fans assumed that Home and Away would at least get a shoutout in the Most Popular New Talent category given that a bunch of newcomers joined the soap’s cast including Sophea Pennington, Tristan Gorey and Ryan Brown.
“The Logies used to be about celebrating Australian actors but it’s mostly all presenters, reality TV or TV personalities now,” one fan wrote.
Fans rallied around the show’s new castmates. Images: Facebook
Others chalked the Home and Away snub up to the recent overhaul in the Logie nominations process, which in recent years has minimised the input of the public to balance it out with an independent judging panel.
“It needs to go back to the viewers’ choices of who we would like to see nominated,” one Facebook user wrote. “After all, it’s us that make the shows and actors popular.”
Thankfully, those invested in Home and Away can still find some wins in the list of 2026 Logies nominees, since castmates Philippa Northeast and Stephen Peacocke are nominated… albeit for different shows.
Philippa scored a nomination for The Family Next Door, while Stephen is in the running for his role in RFDS.
Stephen and Philippa play Braxton and Evelyn on Home and Away, respectively. Images: Channel 7
The ceremony’s biggest category, the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality, includes nominees Ally Langdon, Julia Morris, Lisa Millar, Poh Ling Yeow, Sam Pang, Todd Woodbridge and Robert Irwin, the last of whom is also hosting this year’s event.
The 2026 Logie Awards will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and streamed on 7plus on August 16.

The split rumours kicked off this week, when eagle-eyed fans noted how the couple — who were initially paired with other participants in MAFS’ tenth season — have seemingly led different lives over the past few months… at least according to their social media activity.
MAFS’ Evelyn and Duncan seemingly go silent on social media
Evelyn and Duncan have not appeared together on Instagram since April, with the MAFS bride currently sharing her European travels on social media while Duncan remains in Sydney posting about work, fitness and his cyber security business.
The months-long absence from each other’s profiles has sparked split rumours online, with some Instagram users asking on Evelyn’s recent posts, “where is Duncan?” or “you broke up with your boyfriend?” A third fan wrote, “Obviously having a break from Duncan.”
The pair are absent from each other’s recent social media posts. Images: Instagram
Only adding fuel to the rumour mill is the fact that Evelyn and Duncan have neither liked nor commented on each other’s more recent Instagram posts, which signals a slight change given their otherwise-gushing interactions on older posts.
A source claimed MAFS’ Evelyn and Duncan are “living different lives”
The split rumours reached fever pitch when a source claimed Evelyn and Duncan are in “very different places in their lives.”
“They’re definitely living very different lives at the moment. Evelyn is embracing the international party scene, travelling from event to event across Europe, while Duncan is back in Sydney focused on work and routine,” an insider told the Daily Mailearlier this week.
“They’re in completely different places in life. Evelyn is chasing opportunities overseas and loving every minute of it. Duncan is much more settled and career-focused back home,” the insider added.
The source went on to claim that Evelyn and Duncan’s supposed split wasn’t the result of anything dramatic or scandalous, but was just a natural conclusion for the pair. “No one is saying there’s been a dramatic breakup or cheating scandal,” the insider claimed.
“It’s more that they’ve naturally drifted apart as their priorities have changed.”
Despite all the claims and social media speculation, the MAFS couple’s rumoured split remains unconfirmed. Chattr has reached out to Evelyn and Duncan for comment.
The most recent time the pair interacted on social media was earlier this month, when Evelyn called Duncan “one handsome man” on an Instagram carousel he shared of himself — prompting a love heart emoji reply from the MAFS groom.
Evelyn and Duncan are one of the very few MAFS success stories
If the split rumours are true, Evelyn and Duncan would join the very long list of MAFS participants who failed to find love on the dating show. Across MAFS’ entire run, only nine couples (including Evelyn and Duncan) have remained together off the air, with the most recent success story coming in this year’s season with Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov.
Interestingly, Evelyn and Duncan’s romance came despite the original plans of the MAFS experts, since they were initially paired with separate participants Rupert Bugden and Alyssa Barmonde during their stint on the show in 2023.
Evelyn and Duncan weren’t initially matched with each other on MAFS. Image: Instagram
Evelyn and Duncan didn’t confirm their relationship until after their MAFS season had finished airing, telling 9News that “we are in a relationship” and that “this is our hard launch”.
The couple then revealed in 2023 that they’d moved in together in Sydney.
With all that, it’d sure be a shame if the break up rumours come to fruition, but given recent news of fellow MAFS couple Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels’ split, we know that unfortunately no one is safe from the MAFS curse.

In an Instagram post for MAFS Funny, Bec spoke about delaying a divisive planned procedure she was set to do in Bali. “I walked in and I thought ‘I’m not ready yet’, I don’t know if I will be ready or if I’m going to get it done,” Bec admitted in the video.
The comments were mostly people praising Bec for taking her time and not rushing the decision. However, a fellow divisive MAFS bride has accused Bec of staging the whole trip as a PR stunt.
Domenica Calarco, a standout bride from the 2022 season of MAFS, took aim at Bec. “Ohh, I get it now,” the mum-of-one wrote. “Just another PR ploy to fix her public perception.”
Image: Instagram.
Fans accuse Domenica of having ‘double standards’
Fans have called Dom out for ‘double standards’ over her criticism of Bec’s decisions, as she famously released t-shirts with the slogan ‘My body, my choice’ during her season of MAFS after Olivia Frazer shamed her for having an OnlyFans account.
“You cant have ‘my body, my choice, but…’, it’s either ‘my body, my choice’ or its ‘I don’t think we should be able to do what we wish to our bodies’. You can’t be in both camps. Love you usually Dom, but this one is a miss,” one person wrote on a MAFS Funny Facebook post.
Another fan argued that Dom’s comments were at odds with her own past stance on cosmetic procedures, referencing Instagram posts she shared while pregnant about being unable to get Botox.
“Interesting take coming from someone that was complaining she could have local anaesthetic for dental procedures but couldn’t have Botox while breast feeding and literally had a tantrum about it!” They wrote. “A number of times too and a number of insta stories, so it wasn’t a joking manner. Sad she has to interject about someone else’s choices in life.”
Bec responds to Domenica calling her rib surgery a ‘PR ploy’
Dom’s comment about her rib surgery being a ‘PR Ploy’ was seen by Bec, who spoke to Chattr about her reaction to Dom’s harsh words about her, claiming that their friendship has turned sour recently.
“Dominica has made a habit of commenting negatively on almost everything I do. The funny thing is, there was a time when we were actually friends and voice-noting each other regularly,” Bec said.
“Unfortunately, that seemed to change the moment it became more beneficial to publicly criticise me.”
In an Instagram post shared in March, Dom accused Bec of ‘copying’ her idea for making MAFS-slogan t-shirts.
Bec declared she has since ‘blocked’ Dom on social media. “I’ve blocked her because I don’t have room in my life for toxic people who seem determined to stay involved in my story and keep themselves relevant by way of me.”
Bec denies that her Bali procedure was a PR trick. “Delaying a medical procedure was a personal choice, not a PR strategy. Some people move on with their lives, whilst others seem determined to stay relevant by attaching themselves to someone else’s,” Bec said.
Dom on MAFS in 2022. Image: Nine.
“I sincerely hope she gets to feel the validation she’s seeking by consistently inserting herself into my story.”
Dom has clapped back at Bec’s claims that the pair were once friends, saying that she told Bec she wasn’t a fan of her.
“We weren’t friends. We sent a few voice notes over TikTok. I also told her straight to her face I didn’t ike her, we bitched about Danny. There’s your story,” Dom wrote in the Chattr comments section.
As it stands, Bec is potentially still going ahead with the divisive procedure in Bali.

Now, Stella Mickunaite has just revealed she was also offered a spot on the trip. In a lengthy TikTok, she discussed elective surgery, whether she considered getting her ribs contoured, and self-esteem.
“I personally, myself, was also invited to go on that journey with Snatched Waist,” she told her followers. “I didn’t say straight away no, because curiosity got the better of me… [but] at the end of the day, I was like, nah, that would be just not something I would want to do, right? And just because something is given [to] you for free, doesn’t mean you have to take [it].”
Stella isn’t against plastic surgery, having recently had a breast augmentation, but wanted to tell followers that it’s not a way to magically change your life.
“Surgery won’t solve the problems if you’re not trying to solve them,” the MAFS bride warns. “At the end of the day, six months in, the shine of this ‘something new’ is going to wear off, and you’re going to be left with the same thoughts about yourself.”
Stella believes that no cosmetic surgery will change the way you feel internally, unless you do the work. “Whatever you put outside is going to be a temporary solution to relieve the pain,” she added. “No surgery will change the feeling of insecurity [or] confidence.”
1- yes my body my choice 2- what values do I want to embody ? 3- free doenst mean it costs nothing. 4- start from within 5- most immaculate people most of the time has the biggest hurdles internally and that’s their way to express control in their life. 6- sexy is the not the body type or looks – it’s the energy ! 7- The most powerful glow-up is when the thing you started fixing out of insecurity becomes something you nurture out of self-respect 8- there is nothing wrong with surgery – you just need to know your clear why ?? 9- insecurity can be the biggest catalyst for growth 10 – if we fix outside – let’s work on the Inside too. As the shine wears off ! And lastly – let’s keep internet educational, inspiring and transparent.
In the video, Stella also confirmed she had a boob job after MAFS. After going through a breakup, she went to the gym regularly and lost a lot of weight. As a result of the weight loss, she went from a C cup bra size to an A cup bra size, causing her to book the surgery.
While she is content with her choices, she doesn’t think having her breast augmentation surgery made a difference mentally. “I can’t say I regret it, but I can’t say that it fixed my problems,” she said. “Your body, your choice… [but] try to do [surgery] only as your last resort.”
Image: InstagramImage: Instagram
Stella added that she thinks people being obsessed with their looks is “red flag” behaviour, because it exposes lots of insecurities. “Insecurity brings a lot of turmoil inside,” she explained. “Learn to love and accept yourself, all the imperfections, all the impurities [first].”

The speculation emerged on the official MasterChef Australia subreddit during Tuesday’s episode, with one user saying Tyra, who recently launched an ice cream shop in Sydney, could join season 18 as “a guest judge for an ice cream challenge”.
“Tyra Banks has an ice cream shop in Darling Harbour …. the concept of Tyra Banks being a guest judge for an ice cream challenge,” the Reddit user wrote.
Dubbed SMiZE & DREAM, Tyra cut the ribbon on her Sydney ice cream store in July of last year, so the fan’s suggestion of having her as a MasterChef Australia guest judge wouldn’t totally stretch the realm of possibility.
The current season of MasterChef has already welcomed guest judges who aren’t immediately associated with kitchen wizardry — like Meghan Markle, Jimmy Barnes and Robert Irwin — so adding Tyra to that roster of cooking-adjacent celebs could be a savvy move on producers’ part.
Why Tyra Banks could tank as a MasterChef judge
Tyra also has loads of experience in the reality TV game, having served as an executive producer and judge on the hugely popular competition series America’s Next Top Model, which is essentially MasterChef if the contestants served looks instead of dishes.
Tyra was a judge on America’s Next Top Model for 23 seasons. Image: UPN
Despite all that, the idea of Tyra serving as MasterChef Australia guest judge — and indeed an actual ice cream challenge — has not been officially confirmed, and remains a pure fan theory at this point.
Plus, as one Redditor pointed out, Tyra might not be the best choice for judging food, given SMiZE & DREAM’s run-in with the NSW Food Authority earlier this year.
The food body investigated the shop over one of the menu items, advertised as ‘hot ice cream’, being labelled as ice cream despite Australia’s food standards stipulating the dessert must be frozen and meet strict requirements for milk fat and solids.
The ice cream queen! Image: SMiZE & DREAM/Instagram
‘Hot ice cream’ is one of many, shall we say, unconventional recipes Tyra has shared with fans over the years, including the maple syrup bacon jerky dish she perfected while attending the Culinary Institute of America back in 2016.
She also went viral for a segment on the Tyra Banks Show in which she cooked vegetarian fried chicken that was essentially just toasted bread, which is the kind of dish that would have MasterChef contestants laughed out of the kitchen.
So while it’s fun to speculate, we wouldn’t hold our breath about Tyra making a guest judge appearance on MasterChef Australia anytime soon. She’s got an ice cream shop to run!
MasterChef Australia airs on Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
Jules, who has been open about wanting a girl as her third baby, has defended her decision to enlist the help of a gender expert, who works with parents hoping to influence the sex of their baby before conception or during fertility treatment.
“I’m just saying the quiet part out loud, women have these conversations with their friends all the time,” Jules told Nine.com.au.
“If the information’s there, why not be open to receiving it — which is what I’ve been doing,” she explained.
In Australia, gender-selection for non-medical reasons is generally not allowed — unlike certain countries overseas, like America and Thailand — Australian IVF clinics generally cannot offer a choice of embryo sex. However, because Jules and Cam’s method involves natural sex-selection methods like diet and timing intercourse, it’s allowed but doesn’t guarantee results. The MAFS star said that the process has been “intense”.
“I meet with her every single month and then on the 10th day of my cycle, I go and have a blood test done, which reads my hormone levels,” she explained.
“Then you try to conceive before ovulation, because female sperm live a lot longer than male. So the idea is that the female sperm will still be there and you conceive.”
Would MAFS’ Jules be disappointed if she has another son?
Jules made it clear that both her and Cam desperately want to add a daughter to their family.
“Cam and I have had our little girl name ever since we were in the Married At First Sight experiment together. I know Cam would absolutely love a daughter,” she said.
She added that while she feels that a daughter would complete their family, she wouldn’t be totally disappointed to have another son.
“If I hold that child and it’s a little boy. Oh my god, I’m going to love him more than anything; of course, I will. I’m just saying that if there’s any power that Cam and I have, naturally, to sway the baby to be a girl, then we’re going to try that.”
Jules explained that she’s been undertaking methods and advice from the expert for months.
“It has been a process… to be honest, I’m six months in now, and I’m like ‘I don’t care, just give me another baby’.”

By now, you’ve probably heard about the influencer trip with Snatched Waist. Multiple Aussie reality TV stars and content creators have been flown to Bali for a controversial ‘rib contouring’ surgery. Married At First Sight (MAFS) brides Bec Zacharia and Awhina Rutene are among the group, but Bec has since delayed her procedure. She hasn’t decided whether to go through with it yet, and Domenica Calarco previously called it a PR stunt.
She’s not the only one, either. Gia Fleur tells Chattr she agrees, calling her former co-star out in a biting comment.
“[It’s] yet another PR stunt for Bec who thinks she’s God’s gift, to be able to waste people’s time and money bringing her there only to back out because she’s so confused about how she wants to look is ridiculous,” Gia says.
“Work on your insides.”
Bec says Gia’s involvement is “fascinating”, as the pair haven’t spoken for a long time.
“It’s always fascinating when someone with absolutely no insight into my world suddenly becomes an expert on my motives,” Bec tells us. “Gia doesn’t speak to me, isn’t part of my life, and has no connection to anyone involved in this situation, yet somehow feels qualified to make sweeping judgements.”
As for Gia’s PR stunt claim, Bec hints that Gia could be using her fame to “stay relevant”.
“This feels like yet another attempt to attach herself to a storyline that has nothing to do with her. If commenting on me is how she chooses to stay relevant, that’s entirely her choice, and I wish her well.”
Image: InstagramImage: Instagram
Insider defends Bec’s decision to delay rib procedure
Bec has been documenting her trip to Bali and recently decided not to go through with the rib contouring procedure, for now. This controversial surgery is a cosmetic procedure that helps define the waist by reshaping the lower ribs. It’s not approved in Australia, which is why the group have flown to Bali to get it done instead.
The MAFS bride is still in Bali and may go through with the procedure after giving it more thought.
A source close to the bride says it’s definitely not a PR stunt, and describes torment behind the scenes. “I’ve watched Bec agonise over this decision for weeks. Anyone suggesting she’s doing it for attention clearly doesn’t know her or what’s been happening behind the scenes. She’s still weighing up whether the procedure aligns with her values and whether it’s something she genuinely wants to do,” the insider spills.
“Bec has been honest from day one about being invited on the trip, about the procedure itself, and about the fact that she’s still deciding. That’s the opposite of a PR stunt, that’s full transparency.”
The source tells Chattr the bride decided to share her journey because it was real, not because it was perfect.
“The criticism is coming from people who have seen a few headlines and think they know the full story, when the reality is they don’t have a clue.”

Home and Away is saying goodbye to at least two main cast members, with a third rumoured to be next. Sisters Harper Matheson (Jessica Redmayne) and Dana Matheson (Ally Harris) haven’t been seen filming lately, and Jessica has moved onto another project.
Main cast members are often offered initial three-year contracts. The two sisters were introduced in August 2023. Seeing as the show often films five to six months in advance, their contracts would have likely finished in March 2026.
Jessica is currently starring in the touring play Steel Magnolias, which finishes in August. She wouldn’t have been able to take such a large chunk of time off Home and Away, so this seems to be proof she has officially left the show.
Fans are devastated, with many sad to see Ally’s character Dana depart.
“I will be sad to see Dana go. She is one of my favourites. A breath of fresh air,” one fan wrote.
“I love Dana. I wonder why she leaves and didn’t sign a new contract,” another added.
“Don’t want her to leave! She brings so much life to Summer Bay,” a third chimed in.

However, when it comes to Jessica’s character Harper, fans were much less forgiving.
“I would miss Dana but not Harper. Would be great if Harper does something wrong and Tane gets custody of Archie and she leaves without him,” one commented.
“Yes, it’s time for Harper to go as that’s what happens when babies are born [on Home and Away],” another added.
“I wouldn’t miss Harper,” a third remarked.
“Never liked Harper, [I’ll be] glad when she’s gone,” added a fourth.
Will Tane (Ethan Browne) also leave Home and Away?
With Tane Parata’s (Ethan Browne) baby Archie likely leaving Summer Bay with Harper, fans have started to theorise that his character is on the chopping block.
“No more Archie if Harper [leaves]. Tane? What will happen [to him],” one person asked.
“What’s the deal with Archie and Tane [now]? Can’t see Tane happy with his son gone,” another pointed out.
“Harper and Dana leav[ing], soul destroying for Tane with not seeing Archie,” a third chimed in.
It’s possible that Ethan will stay on Home and Away and writers have his character visit his son elsewhere, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Home and Away airs Mondays – Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) has become Australia’s most successful reality TV matchmaking machine, producing a remarkable number of lasting relationships and helping Farmers find their future wives.
The show’s success rate speaks for itself. Since the series began, it’s led to 13 marriages and 28 children, with plenty more weddings and babies likely on the horizon.
If you’re curious to know which couples are still riding the love train, we’ve taken a trip down memory lane and popped together a guide on which FWAW couples are still together.
Chris Newsome and Kim Tierney
Season 1 (2007)

Chris andKim are the OG couple from FWAW. These two lovebirds met in the first season which was filmed in 2006 and tied the knot the following year. Their wedding was telecast on the second season. Fast forward to now, and they’re parents to two adorable kids and are still living the idyllic country life on their farm in Tamworth.
Rob Hodges and Jo Fincham
Season 2 (2008)
Image: Instagram.
Rob and Jo’s story is a classic case of opposites attract: a Mount Gambier cattle farmer and a city girl. The pair clicked instantly and went on to marry and have three beautiful children. Jo moved from the city to the farm, before the family moved away from country life and started their new chapter in Noosa.
Damian Atkins and Rachael Peynenborg

Damian and Rachael’s journey began in 2009, before tying the knot on the banks of the Mersey River in 2016, at their property at Mole Creek, and they’ve been inseparable since. The Tasmanian farmer and his wife are now busy juggling their farm business and raising three kids.
Scott Warby and Clare Spark
Season 4 (2009)

Now married with two kids, Clare gushed to TV Week in 2020 about Scott’s enduring romantic gestures and their fulfilling life on the farm, saying he was still “very romantic”.
Brad Crane and Stacie Marmion
Season 4 (2009)
Image: Nine.
Brad and Stacie are another success story from season four. Brad was clearly smitten with Stacie from day one and proposed just six months after they started dating.
A year after filming the show, they bought a 485-hectare property in Iona Downs near Gunnedah and now share three daughters, Darcie, now aged 13, Bobbie, 11, and Frankie, 9.
Nathan McClymont and Amanda Ecker
Season 5 (2010)
Image: Nine.
Nathan and Amanda hold the original record for one of the fastest proposals in the show’s history. Nathan popped the question during the season finale, and Amanda said yes! They’re now the proud parents of three boys and still as in love as ever.
Frank Atherton and Tenille Jolly
Season 7 (2011)
Image: Nine.
Frank and Tenille’s connection was instant. Two years after their first speed date on the show, Frank proposed on Valentine’s Day. Now married and raising their son, Oliver, on Frank’s Queensland property, their love story is just another piece of proof that FWAW works.
Sam Alford and Jodie Byrne
Season 8 (2012)
Image: Nine.
Sam and Jodie’s love story saw Jodie moving from Sydney to WA to be with her farmer. Sam proposed over Christmas 2012, and they married in 2015. Their son, River, was born in 2018, and they continue to enjoy their rural life together.
Jess Nathan and Andrew Guthrie
Season 11 (2021)
Image: Instagram.
Farmer Andrew and Jess have welcomed the most recent
baby into the crew. Jess gave birth to their daughter Gracie on May 21, 2026 and told Woman’s Day that she had fertility struggles prior to conceiving.
“Everything we’ve been through, I would do it a thousand times over in a heartbeat,” Jess told the publication. “It’s been awesome to be able to talk to different people about what’s worked for them, what they’ve struggled with and offering some support where we can.”
Jess and Andrew got engaged in August 2023 and married in March 2024. Their gorgeous nuptials aired during the 2024 FWAW finale.
Harry Lloyd and Tess Brookman
Season 12 (2022)
Image: Instagram.
Harry and Tess’s love story involved a significant move for Harry, who left his rural life for the Gold Coast to be with Tess as she finished her studies before they both headed to Far North Queensland where she nabbed a job as a psychologist.
Their relationship has recently taken a giant leap forward — they got engaged earlier this year.
“I organised a cover story to go out for lunch with one of my friends from uni then I had her call and cancel last-minute. I’d organised everything with the staff,” Harry told Woman’s Day of the proposal.
“I took Tess down to the river and I proposed to her there.”
Benjamin Jackson and Hannah Jackson
Season 12 (2022)
Image: ContentcreativebyClaire.
Benjamin and Hannah met on the 2022 season of FWAW, and are another couple who’ve taken the next step in 2026. The adorable pair got married earlier this year and Hannah is pregnant with their first child.
Will Simpson and Jess Cova
Season 12 (2022)
Image: Seven.
Jess and Will met on FWAW 2022 and she moved to his farm in Berriwillock, Victoria shortly after. In April 2025 Will popped the question to Jess, and she accepted. The couple shared the exciting news on Instagram.
“Jess said yes! From farmer to fiancé! Our most special moment yet,” they wrote in a joint post.
Matt Young and Olivia Benic
Season 13 (2023)
Image: Seven.
FWAW 2023’s Matt and Olivia welcomed their first baby together, Henry, on August 15, 2024.
“286 days of carrying you, 8 hours of labour without pain relief, and what has felt like a lifetime of waiting…our little bubba entered our little family happy and healthy,” Olivia captioned the baby announcement.
The pair live on their farm in Bookham, New South Wales, and regularly post country content featuring the adorable Henry on their Instagram accounts.
Brad Jones and Clare Hockings
Season 13 (2023)
Image: Instagram.
Brad and Clare’s relationship moved quickly; the couple announced they were having a baby in June 2023 just one month after the season finale aired on TV. They welcomed their son, Roy, in December 2023, and are loving life as parents.
David McMahon and Emily Gordon
Season 13 (2023)
Image: Instagram.
David and Emily met on the 2023 season of FWAW, which was filmed in 2022 and announced their engagement in October 2023 and had their engagement party in March 2024.

Dustin Manwaring and Sophie Trethowan
Season 14 (2024)
Image: Instagram.
Dustin and Sophie met on FWAW 2024, and the couple’s relationship has thrived ever since. Shortly after filming wrapped, Sophie moved to Dustin’s farm in Condobolin, New South Wales and they’ve been there ever since.
Todd Melbourne and Daisy Lamb
Season 14 (2024)
Image: Instagram.
Farmer Todd was an intruder on FWAW 2024, and picked Daisy despite his friends warning that she was too similar to his exes. The pair’s relationship seemed to thrive post-show, however, they haven’t posted any content together on Instagram in recent months, and fans have been questioning in the comments section whether the couple are still together.
Corey Manwaring and Keeley Rankin
Season 15 (2025)
Image: Instagram.
Corey and Keeley confirmed to Chattr in May 2026 that they’re still going strong. “We’re still very much together, stronger than ever, and we’ve been going great,” Corey said.
Keeley has since adapted to farm life. “I think it’s just over the year-and-a-half mark since we actually ended filming. So I moved up to the farm actually about a year ago…it’s been, yeah, really good,” Keeley said.
The couple have big plans for their future together. “Hopefully in five years, we’ll be married and have a kid or two running around,” Corey said.
Tom Molineaux and Georgie Lavery
Season 15 (2025)
Image: Seven.
Tom and Georgie spoke to Chattr in April 2026 about their relationship status. “We’re going great and very appreciative of the opportunity to go on FWAW,” Georgie told us.
“The outcome was amazing!”
On Instagram, the cute couple post snippets from their life on his farm in Borambola, including a trip to Hobart in April, 2026.
Jack Lonie and Sarah Linklater
Season 15 (2025)
Image: Seven.
Sarah confirmed to Chattr that the couple are better than ever. “Jack and I are incredibly happy and really settled into life together. We work every day together at the farm and we’re looking forward to our future together.”
They have since moved in together on Jack’s farm. “We moved in together about three months after we finished filming and it’s been great building a home together,” she continued.
The bubbly 23-year-old chocolate shop assistant instantly won Dylan over, starting with a blindfolded taste test on their first speed date, which secured her the coveted 24-hour overnight date, and she even got the rodeo star’s first kiss. In the world of FWAW, this is peak frontrunner status and fans were enthusiastically cheering on the adorable young, blonde couple.
But more recently, Ally has been at the centre of rising suspicions. Dylan has cast doubt over whether she was as invested in him as he was in her, admitting she wasn’t offering him the ‘reassurance’ he needed.
Then, on Sunday night’s Farmer Wants A Wife, further tension boiled over after Dylan took Lily and Ally on a double date. The date involved horse-riding before Dylan had private dates with both women. During Ally’s alone time with Dylan, the pair kissed, Lily later found out… and she wasn’t happy!
At dinner, Lily confronted Ally, saying she had “crossed a line” by kissing Dylan “behind her back”, which she found “disrespectful”. Lily decided this was enough of a reason to call things quits with Dylan, but didn’t waste any time on the way out. As she said her farewells, Lily told Dylan that Ally was “sneaky” and suggested he should be careful when dating her. Mysterious!
In light of Lily’s claims, Chattr spoke to Ally to share her side. Ahead of Sunday night’s episode, Ally shared that Lily did give her a heads-up about the scene with Dylan. “Post-show, we had a call, and we had a debrief, and she kind of let me know that in the moment, she did feel very upset about the kiss and everything she spoke was how she genuinely felt at that time,” Ally admitted.
FWAW’s Ally calls out Lily’s post-show interviews about her relationship with Dylan
Ally has made it clear that she’s not happy with the way that Lily has been dragging her name through the mud in post-show interviews.
After being eliminated from FWAW, Lily told New Idea that she believes the other women on Dylan’s farm were playing “games” and doubled down that she thought Ally’s kiss with Dylan on the two-on-one date was “sneaky” before adding that the whole show is “fake”. In a follow up interview since Lily’s comments were published, Ally told Chattr that she doesn’t understand why Lily is making such a concerted effort to tear her down.
“With Lily and I, I think viewers can make up their own minds. The episode [on Sunday] night shows exactly how each of us chose to speak about the other,” she began.
“Lily has chosen to speak about me quite extensively, both in Sunday’s episode and interviews since. Lily is entitled to her opinion, but I have noticed she’s spoken about me a lot more than I’ve spoken about her. I feel like that says enough on its own.”
Ally added that she thinks Lily’s reaction to the kiss is unfair, and doesn’t think she approached the situation in the right way.
“I made a conscious decision not to spend my time talking about her. Not because I don’t have my own opinions or feelings, it’s because I don’t believe in tearing other women down.”
“I’d rather put my energy into kindness and believing the best in people, even when that’s not always extended to me.”
Ally responds to Lily’s warning to Farmer Dylan in Sunday’s episode
In response to Lily’s warning about Ally, the young chocolate worker said she was stunned. “It was hard to hear those things said about me, because it’s genuinely not how I see myself or how I approached the experience,” Ally admitted.
“I can understand that she was hurt and emotional in the moment, and I respect that those were her feelings, but from my perspective, I wasn’t trying to be sneaky or play a game.”
Ally was especially upset by the word ‘sneaky’ being used to describe her. “I think it was difficult for me to hear the word ‘sneaky’ and even ‘disrespectful’ being used about me, because I feel like they just don’t reflect how I approached the experience,” she said.
“I believe the way we speak about people when they’re not in the room says a lot because when I was watching the episode, I looked at my voxxies and I didn’t see myself tearing Lily down or questioning her character. I made a conscious effort to focus on my relationship with Dylan, and my own experience rather than speaking badly about another woman.”
Lily called out Ally at a FWAW dinner. Image: Seven.
Ally acknowledged that Lily was speaking from ‘a place of hurt’, but that didn’t excuse her warning to Dylan. “You can be disappointed or frustrated without resorting to personal attacks and even sabotaging another individual, because I think I’d rather be remembered for how I treated people than for what I said about them when they weren’t in the room,” Ally shared.
“In saying this, in this episode, I’m far from perfect, but I feel like I have led with kindness rather than criticism.”
When asked whether the competition brought out the worst in people, Ally didn’t think this was true. “I feel like this experience doesn’t make anyone do anything. It definitely puts people under pressure, but I think we all choose how we respond,” she said. “I know I never viewed the girls as my competition. I saw them as people sharing the same experience as me.”
Ally addresses whether she regrets kissing Dylan on the double date
Despite all the drama it caused, Ally has no regrets about kissing Dylan on the double date. “I stand by kissing Dylan. The kiss was a shared moment, and he leaned into it,” Ally said.
“It felt right, and it was a genuine moment between us. I think when Dylan and I are together, everything else kind of falls away, and it feels really simple, and like it’s just us.”
Ally has no regrets about kissing Dylan. Image: Seven.
Ally added that she was unaware whether Dylan had kissed Lily on that same day. “When I spoke with Lily about the fact that I had kissed Dylan, I was going into that conversation aware of the fact that she may have possibly kissed Dylan. Her date was before mine, and there’s always that possibility.”
Overall, Ally plans to stay focused on staying in her lane on FWAW. “I was always staying focused on my own relationship with Dylan, rather than tearing down someone else’s [relationship].”
With hindsight, Ally can see Lily’s side. “I believe that [she] really was speaking from a place of hurt, and she was definitely emotional in the moment, and I respect that. Those were her feelings,” she said, adding that the two are on better terms now.
“Lily and I are still friendly,” Ally said.
Farmer Wants A Wife airs Sunday and Monday on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
The Second Chance cook is a regular addition to MasterChef Australia, and sees eliminated contestants return for a challenge, with the winner earning a white apron once again and rejoining the competition.
This year, it took place in Episode 30 and eliminated contestants Lydia, Miin, Jack, Bella, Alita, Megs, Belinda, and Lucy all returned to try and earn a spot back in the competition. The dish that won redemption for Bella was called ‘Nonna’s garden’, a dessert with capsicum sorbet, chocolate and vergeoise cremeux, a chocolate soil and a fennel jelly.
However, while Bella rejoined the competition as a fully-fledged contestant, she was eliminated just six episodes later, during Curtis Stone‘s Meat Masterclass challenge because her steak was undercooked.
Given the track record of no contestants who have ever returned in the redemption round going on to win the show, fans are calling for a change by either moving the second-chance cook to later in the season, giving the cooks who excelled a chance to return, or scrapping it altogether.
“They did the second chance episode a bit too early,” one person wrote on Reddit. “Just scrap the whole thing, historically none of the comeback cooks ever won the show even when they returned for back to win as well,” another added.
A third agreed that while none of the returnee cooks have won MasterChef, some have gone far in the competition.
“I think historically it can [go] one of two ways, you can absolutely prove it was just a one-off and demolish the comp but miss the finale (Tamara, Sav, Courtney to an extent, Samira to an extent) or end up going home relatively quickly after (Bella, Brendan, Sarah).”
Another viewer questioned the round, and whether it was worth bringing Bella back.
“Bella must have the shortest total time in MasterChef kitchen, for someone who got to be in top 12? They really need to rethink the whole Second Chance,” they wrote.

Why some fans think Bella wasn’t worth of returning to the MasterChef competition
In light of Bella’s elimination during the June 22 episode, some fans have pointed out that they don’t believe she’s worthy of getting the returnee ticket because she’s a bit of a one-trick pony.
“I am most okay [with] Bella leaving, she literally cannot cook anything else except desserts. MasterChef is not her place to thrive, talented young lady though,” one Redditor wrote. Another said: “She is more suited for Dessert Masters given her skills but she needs to have her own pastry shop.”
Some other viewers thought Bella’s returnee’s position should have been given to another contestant.
“Lydia was robbed. She would have been heaps better,” they wrote. “Every time that she stuffs up I’m immediately thinking about how Lydia and Miin would do it justice. And it’s almost every challenge,” another said.
MasterChef Australia airs on Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
Host Natalie Gruzlewski revealed that there was another twist — the new Ladies wouldn’t be going back to the farms unless the Farmers invited them. So, if the Farmers believed that their future wives were already at their farms and they didn’t need to pursue anyone new, they could send home the intruder.
Read on to find out more about the intruders who dated the Farmers, and whether they were invited back to the farms.
Farmer Zac’s intruder Asha
Farmer Zac and Asha. Image: Seven.
Farmer Zac’s mother picked Asha from Mount Gambier, and his mum made it clear that she thinks she’d be a great match for him.
And, after a romantic boat ride in the lake together with Asha, it seemed as though Farmer Zac agreed with his mum and invited her back to his farm.
Farmer Zac’s Ladies took Asha’s addition to the farm surprisingly well, but admitted that they were nervous about her joining the group.
“I’m definitely a little bit frustrated, I will admit, I’m smiling through the pain, yeah I definitely am worried,” Grace said.
Verdict: Farmer Zac did invite Asha back to his farm.
Farmer Jarrad’s intruder Christina
Christina and Jarrad on their first date. Image: Seven.
Jarrad was sent on a date with 36-year-old writer Christina, who was picked by his close friend Rachel. The pair appeared to share an instant physical attraction, and it quickly became clear there was an emotional connection as well, with the two hitting it off during their boat date.
Jarrad was extremely awkward when he brought Christina back and told the other Ladies that she’d be joining the farm, and Brodie didn’t hold back about his disappointment.
“I think I had a lot more faith in Jarrad, my gut told me he wasn’t bringing someone home, it kind of proved me wrong today so that’s really disappointing,” she said.
Verdict: Farmer Jarrad did invite Christina back to his farm.
Farmer Alex’s intruder Madison
Farmer Alex was the only Farmer who didn’t bring his intruder back to his farm, which was a welcome decision from his final three, Eddy, Suzannah and Rachel. Despite having a great date with his mum and step-dad’s pick Madison, Farmer Alex decided he didn’t want to risk his relationship with his remaining Ladies by bringing her back.
“I don’t think there’s any space for it here, I thought sure, I could bring her back and we could give it a go but I feel like, we’ve already got enough going here,” he told the Ladies upon his return.
“I’m stoked that he didn’t bring anyone home, cos holy, that would have sucked so much,” she said.
Verdict: Farmer Alex didn’t invite Madison back to his farm.
Farmer Dylan’s intruder Keeley
Farmer Dylan’s Nanna and Pop made the decision for Farmer Dylan, and they picked Keeley, who is also a horse lover. Much to the dismay of his remaining Ladies, Dylan was instantly smitten with Keeley.
“Keeley is everything that I asked for, she’s a horse girl, she’s gorgeous, she’s ambitious, she’s got everything that I was looking for,” he gushed in a producer-led interview.
Keeley was invited to join Dylan on the farm, and Scarlett was particularly unhappy with his decision to bring her back.
“I feel really shell-shocked about tonight. I feel like if our connection was so strong, he wouldn’t have to bring someone back,” she said.
Verdict: Farmer Dylan did invite Keeley back to his farm.
Farmer Jason’s intruder Kimberly
Farmer Jason was matched with Kimberly by his sister Ashley, and the pair had actually been in contact before the show.
“I’m not sure if you’re aware but we actually did communicate over Facebook about three or four years ago. We met on a Farmer Wants a Wife Facebook group, and just nothing eventuated from there. At the time, I wasn’t quite ready to settle down, move away from home but I think now is a good time,” she told Ashley.
Jason appeared delighted to see Kimberly and the two headed off on a romantic dinner date where they hit it off.
Unsurprisingly, Jason decided to bring Kimberly back to his farm, and the decision didn’t go down well with his remaining Ladies, Poppy and Logan.
Verdict: Farmer Jason did invite Kimberly back to his farm.
Farmer Wants A Wife airs Sunday and Monday on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
A new crop of Farmers are on the search for love on Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW), and with the show’s impressive track record, there’s a good chance some of them might find the one!
In fact, eliminations began right from the first episode, when the Farmers narrowed their groups down and selected the five women they wanted to take back to their farms. Before making their decisions, the men spent time speed dating their matches to get a sense of who they connected with most.
Unfortunately for some of the Ladies, the Farmers’ Choice Ceremony, hosted by Natalie Gruzlewski, marked the end of their FWAW journey. And it wasn’t without drama, with one hopeful fainting after learning she hadn’t been selected to continue on the farm.
With the stakes only getting higher, there’s sure to be more drama, heartbreak and tears ahead as the Farmers narrow their choices to just one Lady.
Read on to find out everyone who’s left Farmer Wants a Wife 2026 so far.
Who’s been eliminated from Farmer Wants a Wife so far?
Farmer Jarrad’s Ladies

Kyiah, Kristy and Hannah
Farmer Jarrad chose Carly, Yvonne, Georgia, Brodie and Cara were asked to come back to Farmer Jarrad’s farm and Kyiah, Kristy and Hannah were all eliminated.
Georgia

Jarrad sent Georgia home during the first Farm Farewell because, while he clearly liked and respected her, his stronger romantic connections were sitting elsewhere.
The elimination came after his 24-hour date with Carly, where he admitted their conversation flowed easily and there was an instant connection he wanted to explore. Georgia handled it gracefully, hugging the other women, while Jarrad apologised and acknowledged how hard the decision was for him.
Cara
Image: Seven.
Jarrad’s biggest concern about Cara was that, of his remaining Ladies, she seemed the most likely to struggle with leaving city life behind. He pulled her aside to discuss it during the two-on-one date, and while the conversation appeared to ease his worries, it wasn’t enough to save her from elimination.
“That’s okay. These girls are gorgeous and you’re very lucky to have anyone of these girls, and I’ve really enjoyed my time here,” Cara told Farmer Jarrad upon learning that she’d be going home.
Farmer Zac’s Ladies
Chelsea, Holly and Jess

Grace, Jessica, Maya, Miranda and Mieke were selected by Farmer Zac to go back to his farm, and Chelsea, Holly and Jess were sent packing after the speed dates.
Jessica
Just days after a one-on-one date with Farmer Zac, which went well despite them ending up at the hospital, Jessica decided to self eliminate. She broke down in tears at the Country Ball before telling Zac that she was going to head home and leave the farm.
“It sucks seeing Jessica so upset and so emotional. It’s horrible, I hate to see people upset, and I did obviously put Jessica back to the farm for a reason, but maybe we’re not quite right for each other,” Zac said of her decision.
“I think that the environment that we’re in, you are competing I guess, for the same man, and you can’t help but judge yourself and compare yourself,” she explained.
Miranda
Image: Seven.
After a controversial ride on FWAW 2026, Miranda was asked to leave the show by Farmer Zac. While Miranda had beef with most of the women on her farm throughout the season, it seemed that it was her meeting with Farmer Zac’s twin sister Isobel that really sealed her fate.
In episode five, Isobel went to the pub with Farmer Zac’s remaining Ladies, and Maya told her that Miranda had been mean to her, and didn’t believe her intentions for being on the farm were genuine. Isobel confronted Miranda about Maya’s claims and told Farmer Zac. Then, in the next episode, Zac decided to send her home.
“I’ll be booking a flight to Europe, and going straight to the Greek islands, and getting a cocktail,” she said in a post-elimination interview when asked what’s next for her.

Bene and Britt

Farmer Jason decided to take Beth, Jessica, Jessie, Logan and Poppy back to his farm, meaning that Bene and Britt were eliminated in the very first episode. What appeared to be a split second later, Bene turned red and collapsed to the ground, with Natalie announcing that she’d fainted.
Medics rushed in and Bene recovered quickly, telling the rest of the group “I’m so sorry everybody, that was very dramatic of me.”
“Well good news, the most embarrassing moment of my life happened on the tele,” she added.
In a producer-led interview, Bene explained that she’d fainted as a result of feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of the day.
“Unfortunately, I think I did get a little bit overwhelmed, a combination of the nerves, the heat, the whole massive day and the experience got a little bit to the better of me and I did have a bit of a dizzy spell,” she said.
After the health episode, Farmer Jason walked out Bene and Britt, and Bene apologised to him once again.
“Got a bit hot there… I’ve never been rejected on tele before, oh my gosh, Jason you made a girl faint!” she joked.
Jessie
Jessie didn’t make it to Jason’s farm. Image: Seven.
Even though she made it to Farmer Jason’s farm, Jessie chose to exit the competition. In the episode, Jason was rattled. When he realised Jessie hadn’t arrived, he asked, “I’m pretty shocked … is it something I’ve done?”
The clearest reason given was that the filming environment wasn’t right for her: she told Jason, “under different circumstances I would have loved to get to know you… but it’s just not the right environment for me.” Jason followed Jessie to check on her, where she admitted she was struggling with the cameras and being filmed, with Jason sharing that “I don’t think it was for her.”
Beth

After two self-eliminations, Farmer Jason was down to just three women when Beth decided to leave the show as well.
Beth told him that her decision wasn’t personal, and that she was leaving because her daughter wasn’t coping well without her at home.
However, Jason struggled not to take the decision to heart. “It’s just sory of like what’s wrong with Jason?” He told his remaining Ladies, Poppy and Logan, before elaborating a bit more in a producer-led interview.
“With these three leaving, it hurts my confidence a bit, and it’s hard to talk about but I know I’ve just got to get to know the other two,” he said.
Farmer Alex’s Ladies

Ebony, Alicia and Samara

Alex chose to take Eddy, Delia, Suzannah, Gabbie and Rachel back to his farm, and Ebony, Alicia and Samara were sent home.
The decision left Ebony in tears, as Farmer Alex told the eliminated women, “I would have taken you all back if I could. Sorry, but I’m sure — you all look great — and if it’s not here, you’re going to find it somewhere else.”
Ebony broke down crying once again in a post-elimination interview. “I am disappointed because I am genuine and I wanted to find a partner. You know, I’m a beautiful person and I’ve got a lot of love to give to someone and…” she said, unable to finish.
Delia
Delia quit the show. Image: Seven.
Delia chose to leave Farmer Wants A Wife after realising her connection with Farmer Alex didn’t feel easy or natural. She said that if she had to force something that felt uncomfortable, then it wasn’t meant for her. “If I have to fight too hard for this… then it’s not meant for me.”
Alex was shocked and disappointed by her self-elimination, admitting afterwards that it left him feeling “a little bit less clear than usual.”
In an interview with Chattr, Farmer Alex said the filming environment wasn’t a good fit for Delia. “Delia walking out, I think, was the only way that that was going to end for her. She wasn’t able to keep it together on the show,” he said.
“I think it became all a bit too much for her. She even said to me, she’s like, ‘I can’t be myself, so I’m not going to be able to date you honestly, because I’m not giving you my real self.'”
Gabbie

During a group activity with the other Ladies, Gabbie told Farmer Alex that she has seen the strong connections he has grown with the other Ladies, and doesn’t believe they have the same spark. She pulled him aside and said she was self-eliminating.
“For me, kind of hearing the dates you’ve had with the other girls, and hearing them come home, and how you guys have connected, like I just don’t know if I can connect with you in that same way in the short amount of time,” she told Farmer Alex. “I just think it’s better for me to go home.”
Farmer Dylan’s Ladies

Rhianna, Kiara and Jamie

“I care deeply about making the decision right, because they’re all very special. I think if I just go with my gut feeling, my heart knows what’s right,” Dylan said in a producer-led interview before revealing that he’d chosen Renee, Ally, Lily, Tennille and Scarlett.
That meant that Rhianna, Kiara and Jamie were all sent packing before they’d even set foot on the farm.
“I’d like to thank you for coming out and taking the time to meet me, I truly did enjoy spending my time with you three and I’m thankful that you came out to meet me,” Farmer Dylan told them.
Tenille

Dylan sent Tennille home on Farmer Wants A Wife after realising there wasn’t enough romantic spark between them. As the group sat around the dinner table, Dylan made the difficult call, explaining that he hadn’t felt the connection he needed to keep exploring things with her. Tennille took the decision gracefully, telling him, “You gotta do what you gotta do,” before wishing him all the best.
Lily

After finding out that Farmer Dylan and Ally kissed on the two and one day, Lily blew up at Ally and said the move was disrespectful. She told Farmer Dylan that she’d be self-eliminating, and on her way out, she warned him about Ally.
“I also feel like you need to be careful with Ally, I found her to be very sneaky, and I’m trying not to be mean, but be careful, that’s all I’m going to say and I don’t want to say that to her at the table. I feel like that’s something you need to be aware of,” she told him.

The Instagram model’s run ended after Farmer Zac chose to send her off into the sunset. The 21-year-old had been one of Zac’s most talked-about contestants, with viewers questioning whether she was there for love or fame, an accusation she denied to Chattr.
On last week’s episodes, tension kicked off after Maya told Zac’s sister Isobel that Miranda had spoken poorly about her, including calling her ‘desperate’. On a double date with Zac, Maya and Miranda, things got extra awkward, and Miranda later confronted Maya at dinner.
In light of this confrontation, Zac said directly to Miranda: “I can’t see us going any further from here. I’m really sorry.”
Zac explained his decision to eliminate Miranda in a confessional. “Seeing Miranda say that at the table, it was sort of the nail in the coffin, Miranda was passive-aggressive against Maya and I just don’t agree with how things were gone about,” the apple farmer said.
In an interview with Chattr at the start of the season, Miranda spoke about feeling ‘frustrated’ over all the drama. “I did get so frustrated at times on the show,” she said.
“I just thought it was really hard hearing that I’m not there for genuine reasons when I completely was there for the right reasons.”
Miranda said her experience on FWAW mirrored some of her relationships on the outside. “Girls still talk about me behind my back… so that kind of follows me onto the show and it was hurtful. I just tried to stay strong and explain to Zac why I was there.”
Farmer Wants A Wife’s Miranda addresses the girl drama that led to her elimination
Miranda has no regrets about what unfolded between her and Maya on Farmer Wants A Wife. “When it did come up, I kind of just stood my ground,” she said. “Everyone will see that, but I think I just stayed confident in who I am, and I stood up for myself, and I will continue to do that.”
Ultimately, Miranda believes the other women were simply ‘jealous’ of her. “I’ve kind of learned at the end of the day, it comes down to being jealous, and that’s okay. If someone feels the need to speak about me behind my back to make themselves feel better, I just need to be strong and not let it get to me.”
Image: Channel 7.
That said, Miranda was affected by the girl drama at the farm. “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t care at all, like I am only human,” she said.
“I can’t control how anyone perceives me, but I can control how I conduct myself. If people want to have an opinion, that’s okay. I am pretty strong, and I’ve grown up with always having people having something to say.”
The response from Farmer Wants A Wife fans to Miranda’s elimination
Despite the drama she brought, FWAW viewers were largely happy to see Miranda exit the show. On a Farmer Wants A Wife Instagram video of Miranda’s abrupt exit, fans flooded the comments to say they thought Zac made the right choice.
“Thank goodness. Common sense has prevailed,” wrote one commenter.
“For Miranda, this seemed more like a ‘competition to win’ rather than falling in love with a soulmate,” added another. “She is young, hopefully she learns from this experience.”
As others joked about Miranda’s next big move. “What is next for Miranda?” pondered one user. “Love Island.“
Miranda reveals who she’s still friends with from Farmer Wants A Wife
Miranda does not speak to anyone from Zac’s farm — bar one girl. “Mieke and I were inseparable from the first day we got to the farm, and I’m still very close with Mieke. We speak every day, she’s obviously from Adelaide, but we still do spend time together,” Miranda said at the start of the season.
“We got very close on the show, we were living together the whole time we were there, and I was sad to leave before her, but we still maintained a very good friendship.”
She’s not friends with anyone else from Zac’s farm, but did forge some genuine friendships with some of the other women. “From the other farm, I’m friends with most of the girls. I’m very close with Lily from Dylan’s farm. She lives only five hours away, so we spend a lot of time together,” she said.
“I do talk to a lot of the girls most days, and it is nice to have gained some really genuine friendships out of this.”
Farmer Wants A Wife airs Sunday and Monday on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
Although the rules have been a little more relaxed this year, most MasterChef Australia challenges have ingredients that must be used, and sometimes these ingredients conflict with what a contestant can and can’t eat.
For example, there was a Butchery Elimination Challenge in 2018 where contestants had to identify cuts of beef and then butcher and cook beef — which wouldn’t be ideal for a vegetarian.
More recently, there was a challenge set by Curtis Stone which required contestants to choose from different cuts of pork to hero in their dish. While all of the 2026 contestants seemed comfortable taking on the challenge, it raises an interesting question: what happens if a contestant’s dietary requirements or religious beliefs prevent them from cooking a particular ingredient? For example, pork may be off-limits for Muslim contestants, while beef may be unsuitable for Hindu contestants.
According to Rhiannon Anderson, who came runner-up on MasterChef Australia 2023, and competed in 2025’s MasterChef Australia: Back to Win, the producers do their due diligence and check for any dietary or cultural restrictions before setting challenges that may conflict with them.
“MasterChef are really inclusive and make sure they know if a contestant has any cultural or dietary requirements. MasterChef also makes sure all the contestants know so everyone can be respectful and supportive,” Rhiannon told Chattr.

MasterChef contestants will generally cook with food they can’t eat if the challenge requires it
She explained what happens if a challenge did arise that required a contestant to cook an ingredient they couldn’t eat.
“The contestant will generally still cook with the product but they won’t taste it. Most challenges have a range of options and it’s rare that that situation comes up.”
MasterChef 2024’s Juan De La Cruz told Chattr that while there weren’t any vegetarians on his season, in the cooking industry he’s found that chefs will generally still cook with ingredients that they wouldn’t be willing to eat.
“I had to deal with this situation in commercial kitchens where the cooks don’t eat beef or are vegetarians, they don’t try the food, and it’s a risk as you cannot control 100% the outcome but the more they prepare it the better understanding they get.”
He added that generally the MasterChef contestants already know their restrictions prior to going on to the show.
“[With something like being a vegetarian], when you sign up to be part of the MasterChef kitchen you have to know and accept that you ll have to cook with everything and anything that comes your way in each challenge,” he said.
MasterChef Australia airs on Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
While the Ladies are often captured on camera complimenting the Farmers on their extravagant dates, 2025 Farmer Corey Manwaring has shared that the Farmers actually don’t have much to do with it, and said it’s mainly left in the producers’ hands.
“I think the most I did was actually put the hay bales in the shed for Keeley‘s and my date on the first 24 hour [date]. I think that’s about it. So like all the lighting, all the smorgasbord, all that sort of stuff… All that sort of stuff’s all done by production.”
Corey said that producers would ask them ideas for the dates, but most of the effort came from the producers.
“They’ll ask you ideas, like, I’d give them a list of things to do, like, you know, a date in the shed, or, like, we had the dated at Lachey’s sort of thing. I’d give them that idea, and take them and show them the spots, and then they bring it all to light.”
Corey’s winner, and now girlfriend, Keeley Rankin, told Chattr that she watched producers set up an entire date for her.
“I think like a way to show how much or how little they do is I was sitting in the car waiting for that first 24 hour date, and I sat in the car for a long time while they set that up, and I saw Corey moving a few hay bales around.”
“Then I watched our producers put together the entire like setting, put all the lights up, the cheese platter [out]. And then I had to walk in and be really excited that Corey had set it all up for me. And I think they made me re-film it because I wasn’t excited,” she laughed.
How long do the Farmer Wants a Wife dates take to film?
While Keeley’s recount of waiting around for producers to set up her date sounds unromantic, she said there’s even more happening behind the scenes than makes it to air.
“The dates, they take a long time to film, and they show maybe two minutes of it on TV…. They’ll film you doing your date authentically, and they’ll kind of give you some prompts every now and then. It might take an hour to film you sitting down with, like a cheese board or something, yeah, maybe a bit under 40 minutes to an hour,” she began.
“Then after you’ve done that, the date where it’s supposed to be more natural, then you have to basically repeat the dates, try and say the same kind of things as what you’ve said, to get different camera angles. You end up filming the same date up to three times.”
Keeley said it can get monotonous reenacting the date so many times, adding that sometimes she’d start to get bored and zone out.
“That’s where they start to, I think, get these funny facial expressions and like, these phrases that aren’t quite what you meant to say because you’re trying to remember what you said. So [the dates] take hours. And, if it’s a full day date, it takes the full day even though it looks like it’s quite short.”
Farmer Wants a Wife airs Sunday – Tuesday on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

Miranda Chopping has been at the centre of the drama this season, with Farmer Wants a Wife fans questioning whether she’s genuinely interested in Farmer Zac or if she’s just on the show for fame.
The 21-year-old real estate agent has already admitted that she’d be interested in going on MAFS, which only fuelled speculation about her motivations for signing up to FWAW. However, Miranda’s on-screen nemesis Maya told Chattr that she believes Miranda had genuine feelings for Farmer Zac.
“Everyone [has their] reasons for being on the show, and there’s not a doubt in my mind to this day that she liked Farmer Zac. I think that she loves the drama, and the drama tends to follow her a little bit, but I do think that she had feelings for Zac.”
“I think that she did like Zac,” Maya continued. “I think that she also you know, engaged a lot with the drama throughout the season, which doesn’t really align with me… We’re two different people.”
Maya went on to say that she believes Miranda’s feelings for Zac were reciprocated, and that she thinks he got a bit swept away with the exciting energy she has.
“I think Zach… he’s a shy boy around pretty girls. I think that Miranda is very confident and sure of herself, and I think that that’s a quality that Zach’s attracted to,” she explained.

Maya reveals if Miranda got a bad edit on Farmer Wants a Wife
Miranda has unofficially been dubbed the villain of FWAW 2026, with one fan claiming “she’s not a nice person at all”. And, Maya has revealed what Miranda was like in person, and whether she copped a bad edit on the show.
“I think that an edit can definitely exaggerate a personality,” Maya pointed out diplomatically, adding: “Did she say all of these things in the first place? I guess so, but I do think that a bad edit, can make everything look 10 times worse.”
Maya admitted that she didn’t know half the mean things Miranda said about her behind her back until she watched it back on TV.
“I didn’t realise that what she had said about me to that extent, I’m still watching it, and it’s not nice, it’s not something that I align with, but it’s who she is.”

Miranda responds to getting the ‘villain edit’ on Farmer Wants a Wife 2026
In an interview with Chattr, Miranda acknowledged that she’s been knows she’s been presented as a ‘villain’ this season and said she wasn’t surprised that her confidence to be perceived that way.
“I was definitely aware that confidence can sometimes be misunderstood, especially when condensed into a TV show where people only see small parts of who you are… I’d rather be confident in who I am than pretend to be someone else,” Miranda continued.
“I think I’m just straight up and direct, and there’s nothing wrong with that… but anyone who knows me, knows what I’m actually like.”
Miranda added that she just tells it like it is, which is a trait that isn’t always received well.
“I just completely agree with being straight up. I think it’s better to be saying how it is completely rather than beating around the bush, or talking about something behind someone else’s back. If you have an issue, say it to that person’s face directly and get it sorted out, what’s the point of being fake?”

MasterChef Australia 2026 marks the franchise’s 18th season, and its enduring success speaks for itself; fans can’t get enough of the nail-biting challenges and endearing cast.
But, while the audience is shown a carefully curated episode which condenses hours of filming into a tightly edited hour of television, there’s a whole lot more that goes on behind the scenes.
To find out some more juicy info about what happens when the cameras aren’t rolling and to answer your BTS burning questions, we went straight to some of the former contestants, including Andre Ursini, who starred on Season 1 and Season 17, and Juan De La Cruz from Season 16. They’ve dished on some MasterChef Australia behind-the-scenes secrets.
Here are all the MasterChef Australia secrets the cast spilled.

How do the MasterChef cast choose their benches?
The placement of MasterChefAustralia contestants in the kitchen isn’t as strategic as it appears, with Hannah Johnson revealing that contestants pick their own benches. However, she admitted she tried to choose benches that would make her cooks run more efficiently.
“When they say your time starts now, you run and find your bench, you either run to the pantry or you run to the equipment and it’s sort of like where you land, you land,” she told Chattr.
“I’m gonna be honest, I wasn’t a front bencher. I did tend to go in the back three benches, only because I found that I could get my pantry ingredients and only do one, maximum two runs in a cook. But, when it came to pots and pans and all of that, I needed to go back to that section like 20 times a cook, so I ended up heading more towards the back, so that I could have easier access to the back bit.”
How long are MasterChef Australia filming days?
According to Andre, filming days can vary, with some stretching up to 12 hours, but there’s a lot of downtime where contestants are required to wait in the green room.
“They were long days, but it wasn’t like they were heavily active. So you’d get off the couch in the green room, so you’re doing nothing, you’re lying around, and then you have to get up and you’re in the most intense environment for 75 minutes [during a cook],” he explains. “You go from zero to a million miles an hour, and then the adrenaline dump after is just nuts. It’s so unusual, and it’s so hard.
“It’s really, really challenging. It’s such a strange environment, and each person who goes through that deserves a clap.”
What happens to the leftover food?
Each MasterChef challenge sees contestants opening up new food items — like bags of flour and sugar or a bottle of oil— which won’t be fully used on the day. Juan told Chattr that production actively works to ensure there’s no food wastage, and that everything that’s opened from the MasterChef pantry is used.
“Sometimes lots of food is donated to a charity called Second Chance and also the staff behind the cameras takes some [home],” Juan reveals. “I also remember sometimes by the end of the week, all the fresh food from the pantry such as veggies, fruits and even some meat was up for grabs. So we would take ingredients to practice ideas during the weekend.”
The production company behind the show, Endemol Shine, confirmed MasterChef’s partnership with Second Chance.
“MasterChef’s donations provide the equivalent of over tens of thousands of meals each season for people doing it tough,” they told New Idea.
Do the MasterChef judges interact with the contestants outside of filming?
The MasterChef judges don’t spend time with the contestants outside of filming, with Andre saying the show is “very professional” and there are “significant boundaries”.
However, Andre is close with Poh Ling Yeow from when they competed together, and he told Chattr a sweet story about how she checks in on all eliminated contestants. “One thing which I love, which demonstrates how genuine she is, Poh really invests in time with each contestant that leaves to ensure that she contacts them, makes sure that they’re okay, how they felt and so forth,” he says. “She’s a gem.”

Do the contestants practice cooking outside of hours?
Many MasterChef Australia contestants practice cooking outside of filming so they can be on their A-game for the competition, but Andre didn’t touch his tools for the entire time he was there.
“I was a weird one because I actually didn’t cook. I cooked one dish in my apartment over three months and it wasn’t cooking… it was a salad,” he jokes. “I had takeaway, I had Uber [Eats] a lot, and I didn’t have any cookbooks in my apartment either,” Andre says. “I did have a different take on the competition. I didn’t train for it, so to speak, like a lot of the others did, and they’re getting rewarded for it.”
Do the MasterChef Australia contestants get together socially outside of filming hours?
Yes! The bonds formed between the MasterChef Australia contestants are genuine. “We’re with each other from say 6am to maybe 7 or 8 o’clock at night, Monday to Friday, give or take. We’re with each other a lot, and even your best friends become a bit annoying. Like I don’t even hang out that much with my wife or my best mates at home,” he jokes. “It’s a strange environment, but often you would have drinks after just to decompress and discuss what the hell just happened, because you’re going through sort of this weird adrenaline dump daily, and you do rely on that sort of feedback from each other.
“We generally did hang out and created this really unique bond with people.”
The MasterChef Australia cast become really close. Image: 10
Do the contestants cook for each other?
Andre never cooked for his fellow contestants, but he did receive a bunch of meals from Jamie Fleming. “Jamie actually cooked a lot for me. I felt like his faux-child because he was cooking me dinner with his Asian techniques and ingredients. That was nice, that was lovely, that was bonding,” Andre spills.
“One of the best dinners we had… we all met, and everyone brought a dish, and it was an incredible dining experience in the hotel. Audra [Morrice] did a dish, Depinder [Chhibber], I bought Uber [Eats] for them, but that was probably one of the most memorable, everyone had their expertise and skill sets in their dish and it was just a really special moment.”
Do the MasterChef judges taste the food while it’s still hot?
With so many dishes for the judges to taste — especially at the start of the season — it can be hard for the judges to taste the food piping hot.
In 2021, contestant Jess Hodge told Now to Lovethat immediately after the clock stops, the judges start trying dishes.
“They do most of the time [eat the food cold], but after everyone’s finished cooking and time is called, the judges come around to the benches and try everything,” she shared.
“So they know what they’re expecting, and they know what the dishes taste like, so if something does change too much while they are waiting to eat it, at least they have an idea of what the intention was.”
MasterChef Australia airs on Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
