Farmer Wants a Wife is gearing up to (hopefully) bring us a well-deserved love story for 2025. The four Farmers who will be leading that charge have been confirmed, and it’s time for us to meet them!
Eight farmers were shortlisted in July 2024 to be the leads for the upcoming season, and applicants were encouraged to apply for the one they liked the look of.
Now, the final lineup of 2025 Farmers has been announced—and Corey, Tom, Thomas, and Jarrad will search for a farm wife on the wholesome reality show.

Farmer Jarrad is 21 years old and describes himself as a “goofy creative”. He lives on a sheep farm outside of Stanthorpe, Queensland.
“I’ll also send you crazy from singing too much,” he says. (I’ve watched his intro reel and can confirm he has a fantastic voice!)

Farmer Thomas is a 35-year-old “hardworking and driven farmer” living on a wheat, lentil and barley farm in Kimba, South Australia. He is the oldest of the Farmer Wants A Wife farmers in our 2025 crop.
He’s a whopping 6’4 in height and is looking for someone who is “kind, caring and honest” with their own passions.

Farmer Corey is a 24-year-old working on a beans, hay and cotton farm in Biloela, Queensland. What’s he looking for?

Paul Antoine was the very first Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 groom to be announced, and we’re unsurprised that he’s a recognisable face.
While ex-The Bachelor contestant Sierah Swepstone was one of the MAFS 2025 brides, she isn’t the only one who’s dipped her toes in a dating reality show before.
Yep, Paul — who was on reality TV just two years ago — is one of MAFS 2025 grooms.

What reality show has Paul Antoine been on before?
Paul starred on The Real Love Boat Australia in 2022. The short-lived show was basically Love Island on a boat.
Paul was one of 21 singles who tried to find love with the help of host Darren McMullen, cruise director Hannah Ferrier, head of entertainment Daniel Doody and captain Paolo Arrigo.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?), Paul’s quest for love was about as successful as the show itself, which has since been axed.
Paul is a fitness coach living in Perth. However, he is originally from France and moved to Australia 11 years ago.
When he was on The Real Love Boat Australia, he was hoping to find someone down-to-earth and was a fan of long chats — so we can only assume that’s what he’s looking for this time around, too.
Who is MAFS’ Paul Antoine?
According to Paul’s Channel 9 bio, he’s a hopeless romantic, who’s gone through the small dating pool in Perth.
He’s had two long-term relationships in the past and is ready to find his forever love. Paul said that person would ideally be a woman with European flair, with a smile that lights up the room.
Who is Paul Antoine matched with on MAFS 2025?
Paul’s MAFS bride is fashion influencer and aspiring actress Carina Mirabile. She’s also no stranger to the silver screen, with an acting career that includes roles in two short films and appearances in several commercials.
When they first got TV hitched, Carina wasn’t exactly over the moon. As luck would have it, the two had already dated before the show but, after a hiking date, Paul ghosted her. So, not exactly the best start.
Despite that little hiccup, it seems like the couple has managed to move on, and their relationship has only gotten stronger since.

When asked about all the MAFS drama unfolding, Carina told us she hasn’t been keeping up because she’s too busy spending time with Paul and the rest of the cast.
“To be fair, my phone is going off, and I’m just enjoying life with Paul and all the rest of the cast that are my friends,” she said.
Life with Paul, you say? Could this be third time lucky for the TV vet? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Sierah Swepstone is the first ex-Bachelor contestant on MAFS
While there always seems to be reality TV crossovers — like MAFS 2024’s Ben Walters apparently being approached for The Bachelors and Janelle Han choosing MAFS 2023 instead of receiving roses — this will actually be the first time an ex-contestant has appeared on the MAFS social experiment.
And if it was going to be anyone, we’re low-key excited it’s Sierah. Her exit from Jimmy’s 2021 season of The Bachelor was iconic.
Remember when she told all of Australia that she “definitely had chlamydia”? We’re all for a woman of honesty who doesn’t give two shits about the judgement.

Daily Mail Australia reported that Sierah was poached by MAFS producers. An insider told the publication, “She is a nutter but amazing for television because she just doesn’t care.”
Honestly, it was a shame that she was on Jimmy’s season (because it had one of the worst ratings in television history). However, it’s good she’ll be making her return on a show people actually care to watch.
Sierah will be joining fellow reality TV personality Paul Antoine from The Real Love Boat, who’s already been married off to his ex-fling Carina Mirabile.
Alongside them is a wave of actor hopefuls, including Ryan Donnelly, and former Neighbours actor turned businessman Jeff Gobbels.

Rachel Gunn — AKA Raygun — is reportedly in the sights ofI’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! producers following her viral breakdancing routine at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
According to New Idea magazine, the 36-year-old has been deemed “the ideal campmate” by unnamed producers of the hit TV show. On top of that, two of the I’m a CelebrityAustralia 2025 cast clues strongly suggest that the Olympian will be heading to South Africa.

In the past, the show has had the likes of Bernard Tomic, Abbie Chatfield, Domenica Calarco, Brendan Fevola, Callum Hole and many more in the campsite.
Is Raygun going to be on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here?
Although Raygun hasn’t officially been confirmed to join the I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025 cast yet, there is some compelling evidence supporting the idea.
In December 2025, the first cast clue was posted on the I’m a Celebrity Instagram account, revealing that an Olympian was entering the jungle.
“A headline-grabbing Olympian has a ticket to the African wilds. They love freestyle; will the Jungle break them?” the narrator said in the clip.
Then, in mid-January 2025, a second clue was published, which further indicated that Raygun was the celeb in question.
The bonus clue shared three emojis representing the mystery Olympian: a kangaroo, a croissant, and a cap.
Of course, Raygun famously imitated a Kangaroo during her routine at the Paris Olympics, during which she wore a cap. It doesn’t exactly take a rocket scientist to connect the emojis to the controversial breakdancer.
Furthermore, back in August 2024, New Idea magazine reported that the I’m a Celebrity producers were in talks with Raygun about joining the show.
“The public will want to hear her story in the jungle. Love her or loathe her, she has everyone talking,” the source told the publication.
Raygun made a video cameo at the 2024 Logies in August, where she encouraged the industry to whip out some of her moves to celebrate the night.

How did Raygun become famous?
Raygun has been the topic of the internet since she performed at the Paris 2024 Olympics, busting out the sprinkler and some kangaroo-esque moves that baffled the audience.
In August, Raygun was referenced on The Jimmy Fallon Show and at an Adele concert that same month, truly proving that she got the world talking (and smiling).
While not everyone was supportive of Raygun making it to the Olympics—where she was awarded zero points—it’s likely that people are keen to hear more about her story.

We now have the confirmed cast for The White Lotus season 3, featuring Season 1’s Natasha Rothwell, the spa manager who was taken for a ride by Jennifer Coolidge‘s character, Tanya McQuoid.
The cast for season 3 also includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood.

Walton has gone ahead and done God’s work for White Lotus fans by sharing a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos of the Season 3 cast. The carousels include photos of cast members Michelle, Carrie and Leslie.
In Season 2, fan favourite and the only returning character, Tanya, was seemingly killed off. Will we see her return from the dead, or perhaps a long-lost twin sister will come in to take her place? Fingers crossed for a Coolidge resurrection, but HBO has been keeping mum if she’s returning.
However, with the release of the full trailer and no Tanya in sight, things don’t look promising.

After vacationing in Maui in Season 1 and Sicily in Season 2, HBO revealed in a statement that Season 3 will take us to the stunning setting of Thailand. Filming locations include Bangkok, Koh Samui and Phuket.
What hotel is The White Lotus filmed at?
The first two seasons were shot at Four Seasons resorts in Hawaii and Italy, and Season 3 followed the trend.
While there are Four Seasons resorts in both Bangkok and Koh Samui, Bloomberg reported in early 2024 that The White Lotus Season 3 would be filmed at the Koh Samui location.
AFAR has also reported that Phuket’s Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas will feature in Season 3 scenes.
What can we expect from The White LotusSeason 3?

In a press release, we got a vague synopsis for this season, “The social satire is set at an exclusive Thai resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.”
If the past two seasons are anything to judge this season off, we know it will be a very dramatic week for the guests.
During an episode of the Unpacking explainer series, White said, “The first season kind of highlighted money, and then the second season is sex.
“I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion – and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”
The show has absolutely cleaned up at awards shows in recent years. In total, the series has been nominated for more than 80 awards, winning 38, including two Golden Globes and 10 Emmy awards.
Is there a Season 4?
Yes, there will be a Season 4 of The White Lotus.
The next season has already been confirmed on the show’s Instagram, but they have kept the details very threadbare.

Sporting a shaggy blonde mullet, heavy eye makeup and chained jeans, Mol slowly built up to the chorus with an eerier and edgier take on the early noughties tune.

With the show primarily showcasing mainstream genres and producing pop artists, Mol’s performance was surprising in a way that Australian audiences are loving.
While some viewers didn’t love the performance and are entitled to that opinion, the response is overwhelmingly positive.
“So good to finally see someone singing screamo,” someone commented on The Voice Instagram, noting that her “growl” was fire.
“An impressive death metal take on ‘Toxic’ that was so entertaining, she has quite an impressive vocal range — I think she will surprise us with what else she is capable of doing,” someone wrote to The Voice Australia Facebook.
Mol’s take on this song is definitely a welcome change. Even people who don’t neccesarily like death metal or screamo as a genre could still appreciate that she nailed it.

It Ends With Us just hit cinemas but there’s one sequel-shaped question on everyone’s lips: will we get a movie adaptation for It Starts With Us — Colleen Hoover‘s follow up novel to It Ends With Us?
Mentions of It Starts With Us have definitely been happening on the red carpets for the It Ends With Us movie but, as of right now, it hasn’t officially been green lit. In fact, it’s looking murkier than ever considering all the supposed beef between leads Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
So what is Colleen and the It Ends With Us crew saying about the sequel? Here’s what you missed while trying to dissect the rumoured It Ends With Us drama.

Does It Ends With Us have a sequel?
Colleen’s It Ends With Us book has a sequel called It Starts With Us.
While It Ends With Us follows the story of Lily Bloom trying to navigate a relationship that becomes abusive, It Starts With Us picks up where the last novel ended and focuses on Lily’s relationship with Atlas. (I’d go into further detail, but I don’t want to invite any spoiler backlash!)

Will there be an It Starts With Us movie?
A sequel is an obvious decision based on the huge box office success of It Ends With Us.
While in early August it appeared that no one had secured the rights for the It Starts With Us movie, The Hollywood Reporter is now reporting that Justin and Wayfarer Studios do have the rights for the sequel film.
If there was to be an It Ends With Us sequel off the back of the film’s success, it would be an obvious decision to keep the original cast including Blake as Lily, Justin as Ryle Kincaid, Brandon Sklenaras Atlas Corrigan and Jenny Slate as Alyssa Kincaid.
That being said, there have definitely been sequels that have deviated from the original casting (albeit usually awful).
But even if Justin was no longer in the role of Ryle or as the film director, a sequel involving Blake would mean the pair would still need to work together in some capacity. Because of this, there have been doubts over whether or not the film will go ahead.
What has Justin Baldoni said about an It Ends With Us Sequel?
Justin told Entertainment Tonight that he believes someone else should direct the sequel.
“I think that there are better people for that one,” he said. “I think Blake Lively’s ready to direct, that’s what I think.”
When asked whether or not he’d spoken to Colleen or Blake about a sequel, Justin admitted that he hadn’t.
“I haven’t. I have no idea what that story would be,” Baldoni told TV Insider at a press junket, noting that he’s trying to stay in the present.
“I’m just kind of doing my best to take this all in because it’s been five years to even get us here. So I can’t even fathom another story yet, but I’m so happy that fans love it and that she did it.”
What has Colleen Hover said about an It Starts With Us movie?
Author Colleen has definitely entertained the idea of a movie sequel.
“I think whoever decides to take charge of the next one would do it justice,” she told ET.
“I think they’re all in it for the right reasons, so I think that will be exciting. But it’s a lot of people to get the same schedules together again, so we’ll see.”
In regards to Blake coming on as director, the author said she’d “absolutely” be into that.
Considering It Ends With Us is all anyone’s talking about right now — and considering a lot of people want to see more of Atlas — we think a sequel could definitely be on the cards.
The It Ends With Us drama has been dominating our algorithms for the past fortnight, moving from a rumoured rift between Blake Livelyand Justin Baldoni to an all-out public scrutiny of Blake’s promotional run. Now, costar Brandon Sklenar has addressed the criticism.
Taking to Instagram this week, Brandon released an online statement to discuss for “vilifying the women of this cast” is “counterproductive” to the film’s message.
Why are people criticising Blake Lively?
This month, Blake has been gradually dragged online for interviews, including one where she tells the audience to “wear their florals” for a film about domestic violence.
Old interviews have also been surfacing including one where she is rude to an interviewer and one where she makes a transphobic slur.
In one interview, the interviewer asks how those who personally resonate with It Ends With Us‘ themes can go about discussing it with Blake, to which she jokes about sharing her location or address alongside Brandon, who plays love interest Atlas Corrigan in It Ends With Us.
What did Brandon Sklenar’s statement say?
“I wanted to take a minute and address all this stuff swirling online,” 34-year-old Brandon wrote in an image uploaded to his Instagram account.
“The women of this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and for women choosing a better life for themselves,” he continued.
“Vilifying the women who put so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and detracts from what this film is about.”
For weeks, rumours have been circling of creative differences between Blake, who plays lead actress Lily Bloom in It Ends With Us, and Justin, the director and also the lead actor playing the role of Ryle Kincaid.
When he was asked about an It Starts With Us movie — the It Ends With Us sequel — Justin suggested Blake as director.
“What may or may not have happened behind the scenes does not and hopefully should not detract from what our intentions were in making this film,” Brandon said.

“It’s been disheartening to see the amount of negativity being projected online.”
He called for people to stop spreading hate online and to remind themselves of the core message of the film.
“This movie is a harsh reality check for the men who need to get their shit together and take responsibility for themselves and their actions,” he wrote.

Home and Away fans are praising the soap for the “powerful” portrayal of grief by actor Ethan Browne (Tane) on the show’s August 19 episode.
In the emotional scene, Tane mourns the loss of Felicity (played by Jaqui Purvis) following her shock death while performing the Haka.
Perri, played by Cantona Stewart, watches on in concern and heartbreak as Tane grieves Felicity.
Home and Away fans have been quick to share their thoughts on the episode, praising the scene along with Ethan’s acting and the inclusion of Maori culture.
Home and Away hair and makeup designer Laura Vazquez wrote, “So powerful, so beautiful. Felt every emotion in this scene,” on an Instagram post sharing the scene.
“Absolutely love that the Maori culture and traditions has been brought into the show. Such a beautiful culture,” another comment read.
“Finishing with the Haka was a perfect ending to the episode. And done with such pure emotion,” said another.

Felicity collapsed at Cash and Eden’s engagement party during the August 12 episode. Felicity and Tane split late last year after Tane discovered she had been taking birth control pills behind his back.

The 2024 Logies awards will kick off any minute now (here’s your guide on how to watch), but, until then, here’s all the amazing red carpet fashion to prepare us for TV’s night of nights.

The Voice 2024 is set to premiere this August with Guy Sebastian, Kate Miller-Heidke, Adam Lambert and LeAnn Rimes leading the charge as coaches for the new season.
Apparently there’s one celebrity coach that got a little overexcited this season though, with fellow The Voice judge Kate labelling them as “trigger happy” with that big red button.

“Adam was super trigger happy,” Kate revealed in an exclusive interview with Chattr, explaining that he chewed up most of his singer positions within the first half of the blind auditions.

“He turned around for for so many people very early on in the filming and then he found himself with one spot left for, like the second half of the blinds,” Kate explained.
“He got a bit overexcited.”
On The Voice, four judges have traditionally gotten to choose 12 singers each. If they turn around for a contestant who chooses to be on their team in return, it means that one of their 12 positions have been filled.

Kate explained to Chattr that she turned around for moments that really struck her.
“You’re just listening to hear that one magic moment,” Kate explained to Chattr. “It’s such a cliche, but that magic moment in a song that gives you goosebumps or surprises you in some way.”

“Sometimes it’s really it can be hard to tell because a lot of people are struggling with nerves. It’s a deeply nerve-wracking experience to get up on that stage and you’re just waiting to hear that that kernel of something amazing.”
Kate met Adam and LeAnn for the first time on The Voice 2024
Kate revealed to Chattr that it was her first time meeting both LeAnn and Adam, the latter of which became one of her “favourite” people.
“They were both so lovely,” Kate explained of meeting Adam and LeAnn for the first time on The Voice.
“Leanne shot to superstardom when she was only 12 years old,” Kate recalled.

What can we expect from FBOY Island Season Two?
Host Abbie explained that while fans can expect drama again this season, the sophomore season will be different from the first.

“This season is as drama-filled but in really different ways,” Chatfield told Daily Telegraph earlier this year.
“The stories along the way are way more complex and I think the three leading women did such an amazing job at supporting each other, really doing detective work and being steadfast.
“They had some hard conversations with each other along the way as well, which I think is what real friendship is all about.”
The official FBOY Island Season Two release date is August 5, 2024. Pencil it in! It will air every Monday for nine weeks.

Where is FBoy Island Australia filmed?
Sadly (or gladly?) there is no actual FBoy Island on Google Maps. FBoy Island Australia is filmed in a place called Casaurina which is 150km south to south east of Brisbane.
Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys is getting a prequel spinoff called Vought Rising which is great news for fans who were bummed about Season 5 ending.
The Boys spinoff was announced during a panel presentation at San Diego Comic-Con. Supernatural‘s Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy) and Aya Cash (Stormfront) will feature in the new prequel series.
Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming The Boys spinoff, Vought Rising.
What is The Boys spinoff Vought Rising about?
Vought Rising is “a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s”, according to the official The Boys Instagram page.
“Vought Rising may or may not feature the very first Herogasm, founded in 1952,” the post added about The Boys spinoff.
For the uninitiated, Herogasm is a yearly festival where superheroes engage in a bunch of sexual activity. A selling point for the new spinoff if I ever did hear one!
Vought Rising will also follow “the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical manoeuvres of a ‘Supe’ known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought”, according to executive producers Eric Kripke and Paul Grellong‘s statement (shared by news.com.au).
“We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.”
This will be the third The Boys spinoff.
The Boys Season 5 will be the last
During the San Diego Comic-Con panel, it was also revealed that Jensen will play a major role in The Boys Season 5 and that a relationship between Soldier Boy and Homelander will be further explored.
The Boys Season 4 premiered in June 2024 and it was recently confirmed that Season 5 would be its last.
Just before the highly anticipated premiere of Season 4 in June, Eric Kripke (the mastermind behind the show), announced that Season 5 would be the final season.
“SEE YOU FOR OUR FINAL SEASON, MOTHERF***ERS!” the tweet read.
“From the very beginning, I wanted to wrap it out around season five,” Kripke told The Hollywood Reporter.
“And then I would say plans really solidified that we were going to actually do it years ago.
“It might have been because I was trained as a TV writer and there were five acts,” he added.
“It gives you enough time to get to know the characters… It’s about the characters and then you kick off into a climax.”
End of an era! At least now we have The Boys spinoff to look forward to, huh?
Harry Garside has shared a heartfelt message on social media after missing out on the gold medal he was gunning for at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Overnight Australian time, Harry was eliminated in the first round of the men’s 63.5kg class. He won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games and had been hoping to score a gold in Paris.
In a post-match interview that personally broke my heart watching at home, Harry apologised to his home country and revealed that times ahead will be tough for him.

“It is crazy… two decades dedicated to one dream and it is over just like that,” Harry told Nine.
“Australia is such a sporting nation and I’m so sorry. Honestly, I feel like a failure right now … I don’t even know what to say,” he added.
“Deep down inside I fear for what the next couple of months look like for myself. I’m sure there’ll be some dark times. I’ve just got to prepare for that now.”
Harry’s heartfelt realisation
Harry has taken to social media following his Olympics outcome to share how he’s feeling after some time to process and we’re glad to see him looking a bit more optimistic.
Sharing that he’s been “beating himself up for a couple of hours” over the events before coming to a “realisation”.
“I had this realisation that I wanted a two-decade journey to try and get that gold medal. And yes, I didn’t get that gold medal but I became my own friend in that journey,” Harry reflected.
Harry continued to explain that his self-worth was low at the beginning of the journey and now he feels like he has the relationship with himself to manage his inner-critic.
“Over the last three years, I really worked hard and trying to build my self-worth and trying to grow and evolve and be kind to myself more often. In that, I don’t get success, but I’d rather be my friend and have no success.”
Harry then got emotional as he went on to share his hopes of becoming a dad one day.
“Being a dad and not passing on negative things to my kids is really important to me. So I’m really happy that the two-decade journey wasn’t for nothing,” Harry finished.

In the social media post announcing Janet’s passing, Neighbours cast memberJackie Woodburne (who plays Susan Kennedy) remembered Janet as “an extraordinary woman” who she will miss.
“Janet was one of the finest actors of her generation, but more than that, she was an extraordinary woman,” Jackie said in the Neighbours post.
“Passionate, political, curious, delightfully eccentric, generous and fun. To me she was a steadfast friend for over 45 years. I will miss her every day.”
Stefan Dennis (who plays Paul Robinson) commented on the post to echo Jackie’s words.
“So very upset to lose the lovely Janet,” Stefan wrote. “As Jackie said, she truly was an exceptional actress who was a pleasure work with and to be around. We will all miss you dear girl.”

This is huge news for Home and Away fans as the rumours of the pair’s romance first started swirling in May after photos of Ada and James kissing emerged.

How did Eden feel when Jayden told her that confession?
Even though it seemed like Jayden’s confession was quickly forgotten about by viewers, Eden revealed that the whole thing really changed things for the relationship.
“When I first experienced the confession letter in real life, I had only known Jayden a few weeks,” Eden told Chattr.
“It was hard at the time as I really liked him. Prior to finding out I trusted him 100 per cent and but that trust was completely shattered,” she continued.
“It made me question and overthink everything he ever said from that day on.
“So as much as I did make the choice to forgive him, the trust was subconsciously broken and I wouldn’t have been the best version of myself in the relationship from then on.”
How did Eden feel watching Australia’s reaction to Jayden’s confession?
Eden says that having to watch the confession on television was difficult, especially because of how much their relationship had grown outside the experiment in that time.
“Reliving the story all over again when it aired was really hard for me as by that point I’d been with the guy for seven-to-eight months and was completely in love.
“It was tough seeing everyone’s opinions and they way people spoke about him online.”

How did Eden find out Jayden’s confession was a lie?
While Australia found out about the lie within 24 hours of the episode airing, Eden thought it was true for months — up until Jayden himself admitted it was false.
“The day after it aired, his ex-girlfriend had come out and claimed the story was false,” Eden recalled.
“After that, he did admit to me that it didn’t happen.
“It made me really angry to be honest — angry at him for putting me through that and putting his ex through that and for sharing it on national television.
“It honestly made me so angry that if I wanted to be with him, I really had to choose to forgive him for it and never bring it up again, which is the choice I made.”

As for why Jayden would make up a story that doesn’t necessarily make him look great of national (and later international) television, Eden hinted she’d probably never know.
“It baffles me to this day why anyone would make that up,” she explained to Chattr.
“I couldn’t get a straight answer from him as to why, just lots of different reasons and blaming other people which didn’t make any sense.”

“On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease.
“The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie.
“The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace,” the statement continued.
Costars mourn Shannen Doherty’s death
Shannen’s costars and friends have been taking to social media to grieve following the news of her death.
Rose McGowan, who starred in Charmed following Shannen’s departure from the hit show, remembered her friend as a “soft-hearted badass” with the “heart of a lion”.
Jennie Garth starred in Beverly Hills, 90210 with Shannen, both in the original version of the series and the 90210 reboot which started airing in 2008.
“I am still processing my tremendous grief over the loss of my long-time friend Shannen, the woman I have often described as one of the strongest people I have ever known,” Jennie wrote alongside photos of the pair from their early Beverly Hills, 90210 days.
Shenae Grimes-Beech, who played Annie Wilson in the 90210 reboot alongside Shannen, shared her tribute on Instagram Reels.
“To the icon, the legend, the take-no-sh!t WARRIOR of a woman, Shannen Doherty… thank you for inspiring me in more ways than I can bring myself to put into words right now,” Shenae wrote alongside a video she posted to Instagram.
“You paved the way and it was an absolute privilege and honour to follow in your footsteps.”

Shannen Doherty cause of death
Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer almost a decade ago. She confirmed the news in August 2015 when she was aged 44.
“Yes, I have breast cancer, and I am currently undergoing treatment,” the actress said in a statement to PEOPLE at the time.
Two years later Shannen went into remission but announced in 2020 that the cancer had returned as Stage 4. It was made public in court documents that her cancer was terminal, as reported by TODAY.
Shannen underwent brain surgery in 2023 following the cancer metastasising to her bones and brain.
Shannen had been open and honest about her condition in her ‘Let’s Be Clear’ podcast, sharing that earlier treatment protocols were no longer working.
Our thoughts are with Shannen’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

When asked by Chattr what her thoughts are about Sara and Lauren calling out Tim’s behaviour, she made it clear that what Tim said was “inappropriate”.
“I don’t think there was any malicious intent from Tim, but it’s definitely important for him to understand that using that kind of language is inappropriate and can be really damaging,” Eden told Chattr.
“However, I also believe that Lauren and Sara need to take some accountability for the name calling, insults, and bullying behaviour that they constantly demonstrate themselves.”
What do Lauren and Sara think about their cast’s comments?
In response to the “double standards” claims of her cast mates, Sara argued that “two wrongs don’t make a right”.
“Just because I did wrong doesn’t mean that Tim gets a hall pass for alluding to calling me a bitch,” Sara told Chattr.
“I apologised to Cassandra,” Sara added, in response to calling her the C word.
“That is the only time I use vulgar language to someone. And I would never do that publicly on the internet for the world to see.”
Lauren responded to the comments from her MAFS cast mates in a follow-up video on Instagram.
“I was the queen of the insult. I understand that. The purpose of what we’re talking about is men with a platform perpetuating language that is violent to women.”

Ferrell’s legal name is John William Ferrell.
Discussing his youth with Applegate, Ferrell mentioned that he was able to make friends easily thanks to “being funny”.
However, he mentioned that the start of every school year could be quite embarrassing for him thanks to his real name rearing its head.
“This is a minor thing in terms of — it’s not really even trauma — but I remember feeling so embarrassed because my real name is John, John William Ferrell, so first day of school, I’d be John,” Ferrel recalled on the podcast.
“The teacher would be like ‘John Ferrell?’ and it was so embarrassing to me to have to say ‘Here, but I go by Will, I don’t go by John.’ “

Rumours quickly spread yesterday that Robbie and her partner, Tom Ackerley, were expecting their first child after paparazzi shots of the actress sporting an exposed stomach surfaced.
As Australia’s golden girl, it’s no surprise that Robbie’s reported pregnancy with Ackerley was a topic of conversation on the entertainment news program, The Project.

Most of the Love Island UK usually manage to gain a huge chunk of followers along the way as the show airs. However, the winning couple — as voted by the public — will receive a £50,000 (approx. 95,000 Australian dollars!) cash prize which they must split.

Fan favourite Jess Harding and her then-boyfriend Sammy Root took out the win. However, the couple broke up just two months after the finale aired.

Jessica Gunning wowed audiences around the world with her groundbreaking portrayal of Martha in the Netflix sensation Baby Reindeer.
However, news has just surfaced that there was another name in the mix for the role and I’m not sure how to feel about it.
According to a report by Variety, a source has claimed that agents for creator Richard Gadd (who also wrote and starred in Baby Reindeer as himself) “pushed aggressively” for Melissa McCarthy to play the leading role of Martha.
While McCarthy is known for her comedic roles such as her ones in Bridesmaids, The Heat and more, she has also shown her depth and more serious side in other roles such as Can You Ever Forgive Me? in 2018.
“A knowledgeable source says McCarthy met Gadd about the role but ultimately wasn’t interested,” the Variety report said.
“Those familiar with the production say Gadd micromanaged casting and fired his CAA agents after they and Netflix pushed aggressively for Melissa McCarthy to be cast as Martha.”
I don’t doubt that McCarthy would’ve been phenomenal in the role of Martha just like she nails every other character she’s portrayed, but Gunning’s casting was so perfect it’s hard to imagine the shoes being filled by anyone else.
Honestly, the way she brought so many layers to such a complex character was incredible.

Baby Reindeer has been met with high acclaim since the seven-episode series premiered on Netflix in April 2024.
Fiona Harvey (the woman claiming to be the real-life Martha) has since accused Gadd of lying in a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan.
Harvey has filed a $255 million lawsuit against Netflix, suing for defamation, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and more.

The Game of Thrones spinoff has shocked viewers of Season 2, Episode 3 thanks to a massive penis (or schlong, wang, meat slapper for the more fun among you) alongside a spot of confronting blowjob activity.
It happened around halfway through the episode, which I know not from watching (it’s on my list) but because of how wild the internet’s going over it.
So how does a bit of head happen mid-episode, you ask? Well, King Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) treated his soldiers to a cheeky night out at a brothel — as you do — following many drinks.
When they rock up to said brothel, King Aegon opens a set of curtains to reveal a bunch of people getting jiggy with it.
The first curtain? A rather large penis. In a mouth. In front of all of our salads.
In case you were wondering: it’s been widely reported that the penis in question was a prosthetic one.
More explicit sex acts were revealed as he continued pulling back curtains, but nothing quite slapped viewers in the face like that first scenario.
The Game of Thrones universe is not a stranger to nudity and sex scenes. In the same episode, there is a full-frontal nude scene of Prince Aemond Targaryen (played by Ewan Mitchell).
Regardless, nothing prepared The House of the Dragon community for what they saw in Season 2, Episode 3.
“Was not expecting an explicit blowjob then Aemond full frontal in the span of 2 minutes,” a Redditor wrote.

There’s some strong intel that Home and Away‘s golden girl — none other than OG Kate Ritchie — could be returning to Summer Bay. And you know what? I think it’s what the show needs.
Kate Richie played Sally Fletcher on the Australian soap from 1988 until 2008 and her character absolutely went through it throughout her 20-year stint.
Her storylines included (but were not limited to) a dead husband, a long-lost brother and an imaginary friend. What a trooper!
Sally was an icon in Summer Bay and our television screens alike. There’s no doubt about it. And in my humble opinion, Home and Away has lost the plot in the years since she left the show.
That’s why I’m absolutely rooting for all these rumours about her returning to be true. But will it be enough, or is the show too far gone?
Will Kate Richie return to Home and Away?
Last year, Richie told her radio co-hosts on the Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael “Wippa” Wipfli that she’d definitely be back for a final episode of the show — not unlike Kylie Minogue returning from the final episode of Neighbours (or what we thought was the final episode).
“If Ray Meagher (Alf Stewart) asked me to come back, to change the sheets in the Caravan Park, I’d be there,” Richie told her cohosts in 2023.
“I know you’re going back to the bay,” Wippa pushed. “I’ve seen your emails as I sit next to you in the office.”
“No you don’t, you have bad eyes,” Richie laughed back.
Wippa went on to say that he wanted to get “Home & Away fans warmed up” by “rolling out a couple of scenes here at Nova”. As he delved further into his plans, Kate asked:
“What is the point of this? Why are you trying to make me look silly, and you’re actually trying to blow an exclusive.”
The rumours of Ritchie’s Home and Away return come after Meagher told TV Tonight that the longtime soap has lost its way.
When Ritchie started on the show, Home and Away was about a seaside community with the Fletcher family taking in foster children.
In recent times, however, the show became more focused on harder-hitting storylines, like crime, since the infamous “River Boys” (Lincoln Younes, Steve Peacocke and Dan Ewing) of 2011.
“I mean, that was just a great period. But was it Summer Bay? Hmmm …. in my humble opinion, not to that extent.”
But can any one person actually save Summer Bay?
While it seems like a return from Richie could help to get Home and Away bring back some lost viewers, there’d need to be more than just her reprised character to save the soap.
We’ve seen the return of other Home and Away OGs before like Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) and Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons), however, the show’s storylines and character mix were still different to its heyday.
Take Summer Bay High, for example. Not having the high school (we haven’t seen it since 2019) gaping hole in the current Home and Away format.
When a photo of ex-Summer Bay High students Casey Braxton (Younes), Sasha Bezmel (Demi Harman), Spencer Harrington (Andrew Morley) and Maddy Osborne (Kassandra Clementi) was posted to a popular Facebook group, fans were quick to get nostalgic.
“I wish they would use the school scenes again,” one fan wrote.
“I loved that it USED [to] encompass most age groups, if I am entirely honest I no longer get sad if I miss a[n] episode or two, or seven,” wrote another.
“Bring back those days. The present storylines are ridiculous.”
Perhaps if Sally comes back and resumes her role as a teacher, and they bring back a whole bunch of teenagers that Australia’s youth can relate to, then Home and Away might be in with a fighting chance?
If they could bring back Kim Hyde (Chris Hemsworth) while they’re at it, that’d be great.
Last night, fan favourite Lachlan “Lochy” Whittle‘s time in the MasterChef kitchen came to a devastating end after he lost the time auction elimination challenge to fellow contestant (and bestie), Harry Butterfield.
“I’m just really proud of the food that I was able to put up,” Whittle reflects, speaking with Chattr.
“To not have the apparatus of what I’m so used to and what I’m actually really good at, to be able to get as deep in the competition as I did. I am extremely proud of that moment.”
Whittle describes the solace he finds in cooking and the release it gives him; something he looks forward to after work, even on the “bad days.”
“[You] just put on an album and cook something delicious and just groove to some music, and everything’s going to be all right again,” he says.
Whittle’s story has touched the hearts of many a MasterChef viewer after the heartbreaking reveal that his mother, Jan, passed away from Huntington’s Disease just days before filming.
The news came out during the Mum Cook challenge episode, along with another poignant revelation: that Whittle has since discovered he has inherited the degenerative brain condition.
Despite not having a conventional upbringing, he recalls, one where disease was an uncannily familiar character, but “always a difficult thing,” Whittle thanks his mum for giving him the power in that cook “to be able to push through, and realise that no matter what there is, I can overcome obstacles and keep pushing forward.”
He remembers that challenging day on the Masterchef floor, “the crew and the other contestants and even the judges knew what I was going through, and the support that I had on that day was phenomenal.”
Thinking about some of his favourite moments from the show, Whittle is grateful for the close friendship he struck up with kitchen mate, Harry Butterfield.
“It means the world to be able to be able to come into the competition and be able to click with somebody like Harry from day one,” he says.
“To have that kind of support system, that we would do so much together on our mornings to help get into the zone. Going into the kitchen and cooking every day, and then being able to come back and debrief with each other, cook for each other, and just talk about food and support each other’s ideas… it just made it so, so great.”

He also fondly calls to mind “a really cool moment” that happened with esteemed Vietnamese-Australian chef and restaurateur, Luke Nguyen. It was particularly significant to him, given it was Nguyen who first made Whittle “fall in love” with Vietnamese cuisine.
“I actually travelled to Vietnam because of falling in love with him and his show and how he talks about food,” says Whitall.
“In my first cook in that elimination, I tried to really ‘MasterChef’ something on a traditional Vietnamese dish, and just didn’t pull it off.”
Despite the dish, short rib Bo La Lot, being what he estimates to be around 15 minutes away from what he envisioned, Whittle describes “the little message that Luke wrote to me in my Luke Nguyen Vietnam cookbook, which was absolutely beautiful, that made me feel so good about where my head was at.”

“Don’t be surprised if you see that coming up in one of my restaurants, because I thought that was a fabulous idea,” wrote Nguyen.
The chef also gave a cheeky “Ps.” that he would be nabbing the wing bean and green mango pickle recipe Whittle used in his subsequent ghee-seared kingfish cook.
“I pride myself on Vietnamese cooking, and I tried to do a lot in that cook to really impress him. I may have bitten off more than I could chew, especially for a dish I hadn’t tested or done before,” Whittle admits.
“But to have that message after not being eliminated come down right in front of me really made me feel special about that.”

The 27-year-old Australian reality TV star — who shot to fame on Netflix’s Too Hot Too Handle debut season in 2020 — has an impressive 4.4 million followers on Instagram alone.

That’s a lot of potential influence and reach, something that is reflected in his estimated earnings on the platform.
As reported by PEDESTRIAN.TV, talent agency Hunter Talent has shared that Jowsey could charge just over $20,000 per post on the platform. Meanwhile, all a selfie costs me is my dignity.

The bloke does some questionable shit but boy does he know how to make good television. And with an estimated $20,000 price tag, I’m assuming he can do the same thing for Instagram ads.
There are a lot of things I’m still forgiving Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes for (like that musical episode — why?) but the departure of Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) from the Seattle Grace roster is pretty high on that list.
Today Dane — the man who played McStreamy before he rudely McLeft us — has helped us inch closer to closure by clarifying why he was savagely booted from the wildly successful television drama.

(Side note: I’m going to assume if you’re here you know what happened to Dane’s character in Grey’s Anatomy Season 9 but, on the off chance you don’t, I should let you know that this article will include spoilers.)
In a new podcast episode of Dax Shepard‘s Armchair Expert, Dane opened up about his struggles with drugs and alcohol, however, clarified that it wasn’t the reason he left Grey’s Anatomy.
In fact, he basically says he didn’t leave at all — at least not on his own accord.
“I didn’t leave so much as I think I was let go,” Dane explained.
“I was struggling. They didn’t let me go because of that, although it definitely didn’t help”.
The 51-year-old went on to say that he was let go after his six-year stint on the medical drama due to his pay-check.
“I was starting to become – as most of these actors who have spent significant time on the show – you start to become very expensive for the network,” Dane told Shepard.
“And the network knows that the show is going to do what it’s going to do irrespective of who they keep on it – as long as they have their [Meredith] Grey they were fine.”

To refresh your memory, Dane was killed off following a fatal plane accident.
It was extra hard pill to swallow considering we had lost Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh) — another main character and McSteamy’s longtime love interest — just a few episodes prior.
It’s still one of the most talked about storylines of the show’s 20-season strong run on air.

The deaths of the pair were so impactful that Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital was renamed the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in tribute.
Dane joined Grey’s Anatomy in Season Two which aired back in 2006.
“I wasn’t the same guy they had hired. So I had understood when I was let go,” Dane explained on the podcast.
“And Shonda was really great,” Dane clarified of the mastermind behind the show.
“She protected us fiercely. She protected us publicly. She protected us privately…,” he continued.
“But I was probably fired. It wasn’t ceremoniously like, ‘You’re fired,’ it was just like, ‘You’re not coming back.’”
They say reasons can provide understanding and closure, but I’m not sure these ones are going to help me sleep any better at night. Especially when my dreams involve an alternate universe where Mark and Lexie have several babies.
But at least Dane can get decent shut-eye knowing that the show peaked while he was on it?

Former MAFS stars Brett and Angel Renall and Benjamin Blackwell shared the news of Andrew’s death to Instagram, as reported by NZ Herald.
“It’s with the heaviest hearts we’ve come together to acknowledge the passing of Andrew Jury,” the statement read.
“We had the absolute pleasure of filming and participating in a show which leaves us intricately linked for a lifetime.”

Andrew appeared in MAFS NZ Season 1 back in 2017 when he was aged 26. He was matched with bride Vicky Gleeson-Stokes but the pair were not able to make the relationship work beyond the reality TV show.
A year after his time on MAFS, Andrew publicly questioned the show’s ethics, saying he and his match, Vicky, were complete opposites.

“Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) expresses our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Andrew Jury,” a WBD spokesperson told NZ Herald.
“WBD takes duty of care extremely seriously and has protocols in place regarding the wellbeing of cast and crew.
“All MAFS NZ contributors have access to mental health professionals throughout the process, including pre-screening, during production and after broadcast.”

After a turbulent time on Married At First Sight (MAFS), Season 9 contestant Olivia Frazer has finally found her happily ever after. The reality TV star just shared news of her engagement to Greg Rutherford on social media, and she tells Chattr their “spark was instantaneous”.
The couple initially met on Hinge when Olivia changed her location to Scotland in preparation for her trip there. Greg lives in Newcastle, which was outside her radius, so it sounds like fate intervened. “We later figured out Hinge had glitched because we shouldn’t have been within each other’s radius — Greg being in Newcastle and mine being set to Edinburgh,” she recalls.
“The spark was instantaneous. Within a week, I’d changed my flights so I could spend some time with him before my trip with my mum. When it’s so easy, you know it’s right.”
Fast forward three months, and the pair got engaged at a private garden in Newton Hall in England. “We’re both just so in love and so happy about our engagement,” Olivia gushes. “He took me to a private garden in Newton Hall here in the North East of England. Wrapped it up with a lovely pub dinner. Very us coded.”
The couple shared a snap on Instagram, with Olivia showing off her new bling. “You could say we are excited,” the caption read.
Olivia’s comment section was flooded by well-wishes from ex-MAFS contestants, including close friend Alyssa Barmonde, who wrote: “I AM CRYING!!!!! I love you both so much.”
“Congrats girl this is amazing, I’m happy for you,” added Hayley Vernon.

In a sweet video shared on TikTok, MAFS star Olivia Frazer took fans through every step of her relationship with Greg Rutherford, right from when they first matched on Hinge.
“I’ve met someone… it’s only been two days but I thought I’d better document it in case it goes well,” she said, before it cut to a video taken after their first FaceTime date. “We were on FaceTime for like six and a bit hours just… it sounds like the bar is in hell, but he didn’t try and make it a sexy call or anything, he’s such a gentleman,” she said.
Olivia then explained she moved her flight forward so she could meet Greg in person sooner, before cutting to a video revealing that the pair had made their relationship official. “We are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend, and I know that sounds nuts,” she said.
After a clip of Olivia on the train saying she was about to meet Greg in 20 minutes, the final clip included her fiancé. “Update, it’s been three months, and tonight we got engaged! Yay!” she said excitedly.
After all the lemons this MAFS star has had to deal with (we’re looking at you, Jackson Lonie), this story is almost enough to make us believe in love again.

I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025 contestant Harrison Reid previously told Chattr he had a suspicion the dishes were faked before he went on the show, but was quickly humbled. “That was horrible. It is real,” he declared. “If you think it looks bad, the smell was 1000 times worse. You cannot even comprehend how bad it was.”
With that in mind, why don’t we take a walk down memory lane and revisit some of the most memorable (and disgusting) Tucker Trials from I’m A Celeb Australia history?
Oozing Bull Testicle

Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby was the definition of entertainment during I’m A Celeb Australia 2020, and her raw bull testicle challenge will go down in history.
During a brutal Tucker Trial, Charlotte had to down two raw bull testicles that were oozing blood. “I’ve got a ball in one hand and vomit in the other,” she exclaimed while gagging. The star wasn’t able to complete the challenge, but some fans applauded her for giving it a go.
MAFS’ Domenica struggled to eat a Cricket Ball, made from crickets and worms. “It’s not the worst thing I’ve had in my mouth,” she joked at the start, before starting to cry. “This is my worst nightmare on earth, honestly. I can’t. I hate it so much. It tastes so bad,” she cried.
BLT – Bum, Lips and Tongue sandwich

I’m A Celeb Australia winner Abbie Chatfield was forced to eat a BLT sandwich, made from bum, lips and tongue. While she managed to get the dish down, she didn’t last long before vomiting it back up into a bucket.
Former Big Brother Australia winner Reggie Bird, TikToker Max Balegde and The Bachelor’s Matty J gagged throughout the Jungle Bed and Breakfast Tucker Trial. Reggie was forced to drink a green spew-thie and chow down on cow’s penis, while Max looked like he was going to faint.
In a Tucker Trial some fans branded as “cruel”, Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes broke his 15-year vegan streak when he had to chow down on boar penis and lamb tongue. “It’s my first taste of meat in 15 years… we’re on like Donkey Kong,” Hughesy declared. “This is gonna make me a man.”
Grotty Lottery

Remember when former model Tziporah Malkah required medical attention straight after her first Tucker Trial called Grotty Lottery?
Along with Kris Smith, the star was placed in a moving tank which held around 10,000 insects such as worms, termites, crickets, ants… and cockroaches. One pesky cockroach decided to nest in Tziporah’s ear, so a medic had to step in and remove it. “I wasn’t making it up. I wasn’t a sook, there was a cockroach in my ear,” she said on the show.
Hole In One Mouthful
I’m A Celebrity’s Callum Hole had a near-breakdown when he was presented with a whole raw pig’s snout during the Hole In One Tucker Trial. “What is that! What is it? It looks like a fish!” he yelled. “How is that a pig’s nose? That’s a pig’s nose! I can see it’s teeth. I’m not overreacting am I?”
His dish was only worth one star, but Callum sucked it up (literally) and took one for the team.
Bottoms Up!

Comedian Peter Helliar had to tuck into a dish of hot wings made from pigs’ anuses in a spicy chilli sauce. “It’s very nice, I recommend it,” Peter joked. His eyes watered, and he struggled to get the anus rings down.

During a challenge on I’m A Celeb Australia 2017, some campmates were covered in truly awful substances. Tziporah Malkah was drenched in chicken intestines, Nazeem Hussain was drowned in blended fish guts, an octopus and cow’s blood, and Tom Arnold was covered with offal and ostrich eggs.

The very first winner of I’m A Celeb Australia in 2015 was Freddie Flintoff, and his Safari Spa Tucker Trial was one to remember. The spa included being sprayed with yellow slime, covered in manure, and having a ‘facial’ consisting of elephant poo, maggots and water.
“I used to captain England in the cricket, I’ve met the Queen three times, now look at me. I’ve got dung on my head,” he exclaimed.
Brooke McClymont had to down a number of questionable birthday party items during a particularly gross Tucker Trial, but who on earth came up with Urinade? The cute glass bottle contained a potent carbonated cow’s urine that you could almost smell through the screen.

Married At First Sight 2026 is just around the corner, and the rumoured cast is already making headlines before they even become household names.
From a couple already being kicked off the show, to one of the “wildest brides ever”, the 2026 season of MAFS looks like it’s going to bring explosive drama our way.
Described as the “wildest bride in MAFS history”, Gia is set to bring the entertainment and shock value to Season 13. She was spotted marrying Scott McCristal on Maroubra Beach in July 2025. Who got kicked off MAFS 2026?
Micah Lomu and Cricket Australia presenter Ankita Karungalekar were removed from the show following multiple women coming forward about Micah’s past behaviour. Some women took to TikTok to share their experiences, urging producers to take action, which led to the two’s storyline being cut from filming post-wedding.

Personal trainer Chris Robinson from Sydney and fitness model and trainer Sam Staunton from Adelaide, sound like they could be a match made in fitness heaven! The pair married late-August in an intruder wedding, but according to sources, the pair have been asked to “ride it out until the end”.
“They were told from the get-go that they need to create drama and keep it flowing,” one source told the Daily Mail. “Even if they don’t hit it off romantically, they’ve been asked to ride it out until the end of filming.”

And Mick came to me probably about six months later and he said, ‘You know what… I actually respect the fact that you’ve not tried to lie or back out, or try to sugarcoat things. You just owned it.’ So you just own your shit really, and don’t have any skeletons in your closet, because I guarantee they’ll get dug up.”

Now with the seventh season wrapped, fans are wondering if Love Island Australia will be returning in 2026, and narrator Eoghan McDermott has confirmed the show will be returning during the final podcast, Officially Unpacked.
“Thank you to our live audience for being with us, thank you to all of our finalists, minus Jotham, our special guest Bailey and particularly our winners of Love Island Australia 2025, Kye and Yana, for being with us. We will see you next year, vamos, goodbye, and here’s to us,” he said at the end of the episode.
So, with Eoghan’s pointed reference to returning next year, it’s safe to say that we’ll have a whole batch of new Islanders in the Spanish villa in 2026.
However, Channel 9 hasn’t officially confirmed that Love Island Australia has been renewed, but this normally happens in the first half of the year before filming kicks off, so stay tuned!

How to apply for Love Island Australia 2026
Casting isn’t open for Love Island Australia 2026 on the show’s official website, but based on this year’s timing, that will likely kick off in March.
However, the show’s executive producer, Caroline Johnson, told the official podcast that applications are always open, and hopefuls can apply “right now”.
Love Island Australia uses a combination of scouting and applications to make up the cast; however, Caroline revealed that the majority of Islanders are usually singles who have actually applied for the show.
“I would say probably 85 to 90% of people actually apply,” she revealed.
“We do scout people, [too]. So we do a lot of like, target casting, so that’s online, usually on Instagram, TikTok, whatever platform that we find you on. And we do actually still do face-to-face in the street. I have been known to run down the street after people, going, ‘Are you single?'” She laughed.
The production company behindBig Brother Australia, Endemol Shine, has refuted claims by TV Blackbox that the show’s finale result was manipulated by producers.
The publication claimed that producers from Endemol Shine specifically instructed Allana and Bruce to say “yes” to any challenge that arose during the live finale. It also alleged that Coco was told to say no to the car challenge, as she already had enough votes to win and taking part could have forced her to leave immediately, a move that would have handed the win to Emily.
However, in a statement to Chattr, an Endemol Shine spokesperson has refuted the above claims.
“The claims made regarding the production of Big Brother Australia are false. Interactions in the diary room are limited to standard production, safety, and housemate welfare. The integrity of Big Brother and its results were never compromised,” they said.
What happened in the Big Brother Australia 2025 finale?
The Big Brother finale saw Emily, Bruce, Alanna, Coco and Colin all make it to the final day.
Those five contestants were presented with the option to compete in a challenge, which would see one of them win a car, but that person would be immediately eliminated. Alanna and Bruce took their chances and Alanna walked away with a new Suzuki Jimny XL, valued at over $40,000.
After Alanna left the house, it was announced that Bruce was in fourth place and Colin in third. Emily came runner-up, and Coco was announced the winner of Big Brother Australia 2025 and received $135,000 prize money.
“My immediate plans right now is to give my kids a really beautiful Christmas. I didn’t get to spend Christmas with them last year, so that’s my immediate plan. And then everything else is towards their future,” Coco told Chattr of how she plans to spend her winnings.
Holly Young and Colin Ridley developed an instant connection in the Big Brother Australia house, with the aspiring MMA fighter letting Holly wear his t-shirt during the first night. Their relationship continued to blossom, with the couple being told off for their increasing PDA during an overblown intervention.
Now that the dust has settled and the pair are back in the real world, are Holly and Colin still together after Big Brother Australia? According to some social media snaps, the pair seem smitten, and they’re definitely acting like a couple.

“I think if people see Colin and I walking down the street, no one would bat an eyelid,” she added. “I don’t think people would be judging us if we weren’t under the microscope, that we were in Big Brother’s house, and I think that’s something to be actually proud of, the fact that we were able to get through the obstacles and still be proud of each other and have such kind words to say.”

When Holly left the house, she said the pair had a “plan” for how to make their relationship work on the outside. “I think we just want to see each other. Just recap everything. We’re going to binge-watch the entire season together,” she spilled.

When will the Love Island Australia 2025 cast regain access to their social media accounts?
During an appearance on the show’s official podcast Love Island Australia Officially Unpacked, Yana spilt the beans on when the cast will be able to access their social media again, confirming it’s today, December 18th!
When asked by host Eoghan McDermott how life’s been without access to social media, Jaide said that she welcomed the break.
“I personally loved it. I think it’s a good escape from all of the noise. We see everything online, and I feel like having our Instagrams on top of that as well, while the show is airing, I feel like it just would have been a lot. So, I’ve enjoyed this little break, but I’m excited to get it back for sure.”

Did any of the Islanders get their social media accounts back earlier?
While the Love Island Australia finalists are yet to post anything online post-finale, it appears some of the cast who were eliminated earlier have already regained access.
On Tuesday, December 16th, Lacey went on an IG posting spree and spilled some tea about her time on the show.
During an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Instagram, she confirmed that the phones the Islanders used in the villa were offline, and that the cast had their social media accounts taken over by production.
“We didn’t have our phones in the villa. We only had the villa phones to receive texts and take pics. And yes, during the airing of the show is when we had our socials taken over,” she wrote.
Sharn and Ross were a day-one couple on Love Island Australia 2025, and although they hit a rough patch mid-season thanks to a fiery Bombshell named Boston, they’ve found their way back together.

Are Love Island’s Australia’s Sharn and Ross still together in real life?
Yes, they are. In a post-win interview, Kye and Yana confirmed that the couple are still going strong.
“Sharn and Ross are together,” Yana told Chattr, with Kye explaining that they watched the finale with their friends in Byron, which isn’t why they didn’t attend the watch party Kye and Yana had with Gabby, Connor and Isabel.
“We’re on good terms with them,” Yana added. “They’re probably the only other couple that we’re still in good terms with, other than Izzy and Connor and Gabs. They’re probably our group.”
Ross and Sharn also confirmed that they’re still together on the show’s official podcast Love Island Australia Officially Unpacked, and the demal therapist revealed she’s moving to Palm Beach on the Gold Coast, which is a 50-minute drive from Ross.

Ross explained that he’s been taking his relationship with Sharn slow because of commitment issues that he’s struggled with in his adult life.
“I still deal with commitment issues. I’ve been a bit of a love bomber as well. So Sharn and my journey hasn’t been a love bombing scenario. I do think that from the start it’s been very different.

Olan Tekkers — who has somehow unofficially taken on the role of spilling Love Island tea on TikTok — revealed that he attended the TikTok Awards after party, and Sharn and Ross made it clear that they were very much together.
“Ross and Sharn are definitely still together, very much publicly declaring their love for each other. So, I don’t know if they make it to the finals or not, but they’re still together,” he said.

A number of Islanders attended the TikTok Awards hosted in Sydney on November 26. Both Ross and Sharn were in attendance, but a snap shared afterwards seemed to confirm their relationship status.

A cabin crew member reveals Ross was flying to Adelaide — where Sharn lives
A Jetstar cabin crew member may have let the fate of Sharn and Ross’s relationship leak thanks to a selfie. TikTok user @GeorgiaClarkee posted a photo with Ross to her TikTok. When another user asked her if he was flying to Adelaide, she replied in a now-deleted comment that he was.
As of now, Sharn is the only Islander in the villa from Adelaide, and users have speculated that Ross was flying to see her, suggesting that they’re still together in real life.
“Sharn is the only islander who lives in Adelaide. And let’s be honest, I’ve been to Adelaide, there is not much reason to go there unless you are visiting someone,” one person wrote after the clip was posted to Reddit.

Jotham and Jaide may have been the newest couple in the Love Island Australia finale, but in that time, they already locked things in and went exclusive.
However, things turned sour for the couple shortly after they left the villa, with Jaide revealing details about Jotham going back to the woman he was dating before the show.
Of course, Love Island Australia was pre-recorded, and filming wrapped months ago, so a lot of drama has gone down in that time. Scroll on to find out what happened to Jotham and Jaide’s relationship after they left the villa.
Did Jotham have a girlfriend while he was in the Love Island villa?
In a post-finale interview, Love Island winners Yana and Kye revealed that Jotham had broken up.
“I don’t think Jotham and Jaide are [together anymore],” Yana told Chattr.
Now Jaide has confirmed that she and Jotham have split and said he had a girl who he was dating on the outside while he was in the villa.
During an interview on the show’s official podcast Love Island Australia Officially Unpacked, Jaide explained that she and Jotham spent a few romantic days together in Spain after filming wrapped, but his communication dropped off when they got back to Australia.
“I think he definitely had someone before, and then it didn’t take him long to go back straight to that person again,” she said.
Jaide explained that Jotham’s decision to go on the show despite being involved with someone else made her angry.
“I was like, why are you even going on Love Island? Like you’re saying, you’re not here for clout. You’re saying you don’t want to be an influencer. You say you don’t care if you win. Like, what? What are you doing? Like, why are you even here if you’ve got someone back at home?”
Despite Jotham’s questionable actions, Jaide said she’s seen him a few times and they’re on amicable terms.
“I can’t be bothered holding grudges. I would rather, personally, kind of just leave him, and let him do his thing,” she said, adding: “Obviously, I was so hurt at the time, and it’s hard.”
Jotham was expected to appear on the podcast, but claimed he missed his flight.
Who is Jotham’s ‘secret girlfriend?
In November, Gabby was asked by TikToker Olan Tekkers why her then on-screen partner Jotham wasn’t at an event with her, and she claimed he was “at home with his girlfriend that he had the whole time throughout the whole show”.
Gabby doubled down on her claims, telling Chattr in an interview that the other male islanders told her about the woman.
“He told all the boys that he had a girl on the outside. The boys told it back to me,” she said.
When viewers watched Yana and Kye be crowned the winners of Love Island Australia 2025, the couple didn’t actually know they’d won at the time, as each pair of finalists pre-recorded a winning segment. Instead, they found out at a watch party in Sydney, which they had with their castmates, including Gabby, Isabel, Connor, and Yana’s bestie, Jamie-Lee.
That revelation explains why the couple weren’t overly excited in the aired segment, with Kye simply saying he was “shocked” and Yana adding that it was “crazy”.
However, in a post-win interview with Chattr, Yana revealed that there was another reason they were so surprised when host Sophie Monk called their name.
“It was a bit awkward,” she said. “But when Kye and I got called, we actually didn’t realise it was our turn. We thought that I was going to do Jotham and Jaide again, so it was a bit of a shock to us in a way.
“We were like, oh, it’s us now? It was definitely weird not knowing if we actually won or not,” she laughed.
Many Australian reality TV shows stage endings for all the finalists to ensure that the final vote doesn’t get spoiled. The pre-recorded ending was particularly important for Love Island Australia, which isn’t filmed live, but has the winner decided by public vote.
While the couples are still in the villa in Spain, the show records a winning ending for each finalist. Once the votes are counted, the network simply airs the pre-recorded segment for the winning couple.
Love IslandUS and UK are filmed live, and the Australian version only switched to a pre-recorded format in 2022.
During an interview on the show’s official podcast Love Island Australia Officially Unpacked, creative director Alex Mavroidakis explained that the switch to a pre-recorded format was for logistical reasons.
“Love Island Australia is commissioned by Channel Nine for November and December,” he began. “They want to shoot it in Europe, but it’s bloody freezing in Spain during those months, so we have to shoot it in the European summer. That’s the only way to make the show work.”
He added that Channel Nine only broadcasts Love Island Australia from Monday to Thursday, so if the show were aired live, there would be three extra days of content with no time slot, pointed out that “it’s either this or nothing.”
Jacqui Purvis captured Home and Away fans’ hearts with her stint on the soap as Felicity Newman, the fierce yet vulnerable character who had an epic love story with Tane Parata (Ethan Browne). When she was killed off in August 2024 with a surprise brain aneurysm, viewers were devastated to see her go, but interested to see where her acting talents would take her.
After taking some time to work on her screen career and travelling to the USA — she’s been cast in a big film Fear Is The Rider — Jacqui has made a surprising decision to return to Australia for her first professional theatre role. The actor founded her own production company NicNac Productions to “flip the script on female narratives”, and wants to create more strong female-led content.
Her new play, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea written by John Patrick Shanley, will be playing at The Old Fitz Theatre in Melbourne from January 13 until February 1, 2026. It’s a gritty, violent and romantic play featuring two characters, with the other lead played by Jacqui’s real-life boyfriend JK Kazzi.
“It’s kind of dangerous, it’s emotional, it’s kind of violent, but it’s also got romance and at the base of it, it’s love. It’s about love and connection… and I thought it was a really great time to do it at the moment, because we’ve kind of drifted from human connection,” Jacqui tells Chattr.
Jacqui chose to produce Danny and the Deep Blue Sea partly because her character, Roberta, is such a strong female character who breaks out of the boxes so many are placed in. “Everything’s put out onto the table… all your dirt, and grit, and messiness, and everything. I think that’s what I love about strong female characters, the messiness, and I don’t want to shy away from that because that is a part of us,” she explains.
When the former Home and Away star was growing up, she had a passion for sports and action films, but failed to see herself reflected in many of the roles, joking she wanted to be Matt Damon. This has influenced her ethos going forward, and it’s why she plans to make a change. “I wanted to see strong, gritty female characters on the screen and to reflect me, you know, my life growing up. So that’s a really strong driving force of mine. So everything I do is kind of motivated by that,” she says.

The passionate star is laser-focused on her career and achieving her goals, and while preparing for Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, she travelled with JK to New York, as the show is set in The Bronx. While she was there, the writer John Patrick Shanley agreed to meet for coffee. He’s won Oscars, Pulitzers, Tony Awards, Golden Globes and more, so Jacqui was grateful he made the time to answer their questions.
“[It] was so surreal, because here’s this incredible writer who’s shaped modern theatre and [worked] with Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman and Viola Davis… and we actually got a lot of his insight into him writing it, why he wrote it, the characters who were very personal to him,” Jacqui recalls.
“We actually then travelled to the Bronx and went to the area that he kind of grew up and got a feel for that culture,” she adds.
Jacqui calls her new play a “massive challenge”
Going from the screen to stage is no easy feat, especially when you’ve been working with multiple co-stars and storylines that don’t revolve around your character, like Jacqui had on Home and Away. She tells Chattr she was searching for something to push her out of her comfort zone.
“I’m so used to that beautiful big ensemble at Home and Away and having so many voices, whereas here it’s literally just JK and I,” Jacqui says. “It’s so intimate, we’re on the stage 100% of the play, where we never leave the stage. For that one hour and 15 [minutes] you’ve jsut got us the whole time, so there’s no way out for us.
“It’s a massive challenge, but that’s why I wanted to do it, because it is so different from Home and Away.”

Love Island Australia winners Yana and Kye were left with a $30,000 prize after Dylan took $20,000 from the pot during the ‘Love or Money’ challenge, and Yana has revealed what the two-time Islander spent the money on.
The challenge, which took place in the final week, saw host Sophie Monk offer the remaining Islanders a cash prize of $20,000, but taking it meant they’d have to leave the villa immediately. Dylan decided to take the cash and bail, meaning his partner, Kodi, was dumped as well.
During the Truth Bike segment, which aired in the finale, Kodi was asked if Dylan had split the money with her, to which she replied “No”. Dylan jumped in and said she could expect some, but Yana has since confirmed that he chose to keep it all for himself.
“He didn’t even give her anything. He sent a photo of his new car to our group chat, showing off what he spent it on, and we all just had a crack at him being like, ‘You’re a dog,'” Yana told Chattr. “It’s also a sh**tbox.”
Yana’s revelation about Dylan is especially interesting, considering that he told 9Now that he is using the money to fly home to Ireland to see his sister,
“My sister lost her baby this year and she wants to fly home to mum. That’s all she wants to do but her and her boyfriend are getting sponsored so it’s a lot of money. I’m gonna pay for flights in February to spend three weeks at home with mum,” Dylan told the publication.
What will Kye and Yana spend their Love Island prize money on?
Kye and Yana’s portion of the prize money was considerably lower than previous seasons, thanks to Dylan’s move.
While Kye told Chattr that it was frustrating that the amount had been reduced, he understands why Dylan made the choice he did.
“It made sense for him to take it; there were three solid couples in the end, and it was probably the right decision in the moment. But, also, now that we have won, it’s a bit disappointing.”
Yana added that it’s “a bit s**t now that we’ve won.”
Kye pointed out that Yana was clearly a fan favourite this season, and for that reason, he wants the money to be spent on her.
“Yana’s now made a massive Christmas list, with a lot of Louis Vuitton on it, and I think we winning was definitely because of her, so I think I’ll treat her for Christmas this year,” he said.
All hell broke loose in the Love Island Australiavilla when Yana’s ex, Kye, entered as a bombshell during Episode 5. Yana was visibly shaken by his arrival and made it clear she was unhappy about it, however, things have since turned around for the couple, and they’re coupled up in the villa.
But, it’s been an extremely rough road for them, which has resulted in a lot of tears for Yana — particularly when Kye broke their boundaries and hooked up with bombshell Emma in Hotel Amor.
Despite the chaos, viewers saw Yana save Kye at the mass dumping that aired on December 2, and she has made it clear she’s willing to work to make a relationship work with him.
So, will they make it together as a couple in the real world? Love Island Australia 2025 is pre-recorded, so Kye and Yana already know the answer to those questions. However, read on to find out what we know so far about whether the couple are still together — and what their dating history is.
Are Love Island’s Kye and Yana together in real life?
Yes, they are! Yana and Kye confirmed in the post-win interview that they’re still going strong.
“We’re officially together, we have been the whole time [since leaving the villa],” she told Chattr.
Both Yana and Kye said their relationship has been going great outside the villa, and when asked if they could see a wedding on the cards one day, Yana responded: “Hell yeah, babies and all.”
Kye echoed Yana’s sentiments, saying he can see a life with her. “Yeah, definitely we’re on track, we’re definitely doing better than we ever have, so it’s looking good!

All the clues that Yana and Kye were still together while Love Island was airing.
The Islanders are strictly warned by production not to share their relationship status while the show is still airing, to avoid ruining the finale for viewers. However, eagle-eyed fans have managed to pick up signs about where Kye and Yana stand, and it’s not good news for people who think she should leave him.
One of Yana’s friends has dropped a major hint that she and Kye are still together. The friend Jamie-Lee shared a video on TikTok of Kye carrying Yana down a road at night.
In the comments section, a fan called Kye a “red flag” and Jamie’s response sounded as though Kye and Yana are still going strong.
“He has grown up so much. He also loves her so much,” she wrote.
On top of that, Yana attended a White Fox event in late November, and she can be seen wearing the “K and Y” bracelet Kye made and gifted her in Episode 25. If you look closely at Yana’s left hand, you can see the same black cord that Kye’s bracelet was made with.

She also posed with Kye for a photo with long-term Love Island couple, Nate and Georgia, suggesting that they’re, at very least, on good terms.

Another photo posted to Reddit shows Yana posing with two friends, wearing a different outfit from the White Fox party, with Kye in the background. So, while this doesn’t necessarily confirm that they’re dating, it does show they’ve been hanging out on multiple occasions since filming wrapped.

However, Yana recently threw a spanner in the works when she posted some lyrics about a man who lies and highlighted a section of the song that says, “I’m done”. Could she be hinting at being done with Kye after his Hotel Amor antics? We’ll just have to wait and see!

Love Island Australia’s Yana and Kye’s dating history
When Kye entered Love Island Australia, he picked Gabby for a date early, and she left to meet him. During their meet up, Gabby mentioned Yana by name, which is when it clicked to Kye that his ex was in the villa. Kye told Gabby that he’d dated Yana for a year and a half, and said the last time they saw each other was “a couple of months ago”.
After Kye officially entered the villa, Yana and the rest of the girls headed to a nook for a debrief, and Gabby told Yana that Kye had said their relationship had “finally ended six months ago”.
So, does the timeline of Yana and Kye’s relationship add up? Here’s everything we know about their history before the show.
It appears that Yana and Kye hard-launched their relationship in October 2023, on a group trip to Dumbogan, located about four hours north of Sydney. Yana shared a collection of snaps from the holiday, including a couple of her cuddled up with Kye.
In December 2023, Yana posted a photo of herself posing alongside a Four Wheel Drive on the beach at Scotts Head Beach, a five-hour drive from Sydney. Kye was tagged in the pic, suggesting that the pair headed off on another romantic trip together.
Kye was once again mysteriously tagged in a post by Yana in May 2023, but can’t be seen. It shows Yana competing in a surf competition in Newport on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Kye popped up again in Yana’s post in July 2024, and this time he was in front of the camera again. Yana captioned the carousel “Lil trip”, and it appears that the couple went dirt bike riding together.
October 2024 marked Kyle and Yana’s first solo couple photo on the gram, and the location was tagged as Annuka Beach Resort. However, there was some crazy foreshadowing in the comments section, with a now-deleted user writing: “He’s cheated on every gf he’s had pls beware before u txt the gfs gc broken x.”
Things appeared to still be going strong between Kye and Yana in January of this year, as Kyle was tagged in a selection of pics of Yana in Seal Rocks. However, the same user who ominously warned Yana about Kye in October was back in the comments section. “Dating a guy with a horrendous past is really embarrassing please beware,” they wrote.
Kye and Yana took things international with a trip to LA and Brazil in February 2025, but it seemed to spell the end of the couple, as the pics are the last photos posted online of them together.
March 2025
In March, Yana posted a clip to her Instagram story showing her friend running to her car, captioning it “Who needs a bf?”, which implied that she was single.
When was Love Island Australia 2025 filmed?
Unlike the UK and USA versions of Love Island, which are filmed live, the Australian iteration is pre-recorded.
While exact filming dates haven’t been released to the public, it’s understood that filming generally takes place from late July to late August. If that’s correct, it looks like Yana and Kye broke up around five months prior to filming the dating reality show.
However, Yana and Kye have since rekindled their flame on Love IslandAustralia, and headed to the hideaway together for a spicy night on November 20.

With the Love Island Australia 2025finale wrapped, it’s safe to say this season has delivered. Think tears, heartbreaks, dramatic break-ups and even more dramatic make-ups.
But now comes the question on everyone’s lips: which couples are actually still going strong, and which ones haven’t spoken in months? Let’s get into it.
Sharn and Ross

Sharn and Ross quickly became one of the most talked-about couples in the Love Island Villa, thanks to their instant chemistry and refreshingly real connection. The couple were coupled up from day one, and it looks like they’re still going strong.
In a post-win interview, Yana and Kye confirmed that the couple are still together.
“Sharn and Ross are together,” Yana told Chattr, with Kye explaining that they watched the finale with thier friends in Byron, which isn’t why they didn’t attend the watch party Kye and Yana had with Gabby, Connor and Isabel.
While the season was still airing, Love Island pro Olan Tekkers recently attended the TikTok Awards after party, and said Sharn and Ross were still very much together.
“Ross and Sharn are definitely still together, very much publicly declaring their love for each other. So, I don’t know if they make it to the finals or not, but they’re still together,” he said.
Sharn has also updated her LinkedIn location to the Gold Coast, which is a stone’s throw from Ross’s town of Byron Bay.
Additionally, they were pictured on dates in Adelaide and leaving the TikTok awards together, alongside Isabel and Connor.

Yana and Kye’s Love Island journey was a rollercoaster. What started on the outside as a relationship quickly turned into an ex status… until Kye arrived in the Love Island villa with his tongue wagging — literally, during episode 5.
At first, Yana wasn’t having a bar of it, but eventually their love prevailed, and they got back together in the villa.
In a post-finale interview, Kye and Yana confirmed that they’re still very much together in and in love.
“We’re officially together,” Yan told Chattr. Kye added that he’s planning something romantic to ask Yana to be his girlfriend again.
“I’m going to make it a big special one, I think she deserves something nice with some balloons,” he said.
Prior to the finale, Yana dropped a big clue that she was with Kye, as she wore the bracelet that Kye made and gifted her in the villa to a White Fox event.
Verdict: Still together.

They may be the newest pair in the finale lineup, but Jotham and Jaide recently locked in their relationship on the show by making it exclusive.
During a post-win interview, Yana revealed that Jotham and Jaide have split since the villa.
“I don’t think Jotham and Jaide are [together anymore],” she told Chattr.
Earlier in the season, Jotham dropped a hint during a podcast interview that suggested that they’re no longer together.
“The statement of me having a girlfriend before, on, during and after [the show] is just not true at all,” he said, and that specific reference to having no girlfriend after the show certainly raises eyebrows.
Verdict: Not together.
Mateo and Tamara

Mateo and Tamara split before even leaving the villa; however, Tamara revealed on the Officially Unpacked podcast that they’ve been spending some time together in Australia.
“I did spend a couple of days with him in Sydney last week, and we have been talking a lot more,” she said on December 12.
Tamara said she and Mateo weren’t in contact immediately after filming, but started talking on FaceTime when she went back to the UK.
“It was before our entrance episode, and we were kind of just checking in on each other. And then we started talking a little bit more. And then we both were just in Sydney last week, and we spent a little bit of time together,” she explained.
However, while Mateo didn’t completely rule out the possibility of getting back with Tamara, he did point out later in the interview that the former couple haven’t spent any time together one-on-one.

Mick and Emma

Mick and Emma were dumped from the villa right before the finale, and Mick has revealed that they haven’t seen each other since they left Spain.
“I haven’t seen Emma since the villa, to be honest,” he said on the Officially Unpacked podcast.
“I think she was a really good girl, like, really fun. I think out all the girls I met in the villa, she was someone I really clicked with and had a really good time. But she lives on the Gold Coast. I live in Melbourne.”
“I think we both knew, once we got out of there, that look, we tried in there and we did form a genuine connection in there, and we did ride it out. But look, when I got out of there, I was like, okay, like, what, what do I really want right now? And I think, I want to focus on my career and doing what I want to do. And… I just think she’s probably doing the same thing right now. And I wish her the best.”
Verdict: Not together.

When the Islanders were offered a $20,000 cash prize—on the condition that taking it meant leaving the villa and automatically dumping their partner—Dylan grabbed the money and left Kodi high and dry.
Although Kodi was frustrated at Dylan during her exit interview, the preview for the Love Island Australia finale showed her walking in hand in hand with Dylan, suggesting that they may have made amends.
Verdict: Unlikely, but possible.
The Love Island Australia 2025 finale airs on Monday, December 15th on 9Now and9Go.
Yana confirmed that she and Kye are very much together, but revealed she’s still waiting for Kye to ask her to be his girlfriend.
“We’re officially together, we have been the whole time [since leaving the villa],” she told Chattr, adding: “he hasn’t asked me to be his girlfriend yet.”
While Kye also confirmed to Chattr that they’re dating, he revealed he has something in the works for when he officially pops the girlfriend question.

Yana added that she and Kye are grateful for their time on Love Island Australia, saying the experience taught them a lot about their relationship and that they won’t be repeating the same mistakes they made before entering the villa.
“The communication [we learnt was] the biggest one for us. And just realising each other on a deeper level, I think the villa brings us closer than we’ve ever been. We’ve both definitely matured and grown a lot in in there, and taking that out into the outside world, and everyone’s noticing it, all our families and friends.
She said she and Kye will be spending Christmas and New Year’s together and have plans to head up to the Gold Coast to visit their families. Yana added that despite her mum’s initial shock at seeing her and Kye back together during the family calls that aired in the finale, she’s now thrilled they’ve reunited.
“She’s happy now that she’s spoken to Kye and everything, she’s super stoked. And dad was so happy to see Kye, because he always loved Kye, so he was super happy to see that Kye ended up on the show as well, and we ended up together.

“You don’t get to see everyone’s full potential and the real human beings that we are.”

Passionate fans have made their opinions loud and clear online, and one couple has emerged as the clear frontrunner.
Which couple do fans think will win Love Island Australia?
A Love Island Australia Facebook fan group poll has drawn hundreds of responses, and if it reflects the wider public vote, this season’s winner is a shoo-in.
At the time of writing, Kye and Yana were leading the poll with 79% of the vote, while Ross and Sharn sat a distant second on 13%, and Jotham and Jaide trailed further behind with just 8%.

However, while many viewers voted for former exes Yana and Kye, much of the support appeared to be for Yana individually, rather than for the couple as a pair. That’s likely to do with the fact that Kye betrayed Yana during Hotel Amor when he hooked up with Emma.
However, despite Kye’s wandering eye, their villa-bestie Gabby believes he has what it takes to step up and be the man Yana needs in the real world.
“Kye is a big, soft teddy bear, and you actually don’t get to see that side of him,” she told Chattr.
“Yana was the one who had her walls up in there with Kye, and he was just obsessed with Yana,” she said. “We would sit there at lunchtimes, and all he would talk about was her.
“You don’t get to see everyone’s full potential and the real human beings that we are.”

However, despite exchanging “I love yous” in a recent episode, fans remain wary of Kye’s treatment of Yana — and her villa bestie Gabby has weighed in on whether he can really be the man she needs.
During an interview with Chattr, Gabby confirmed that she “100%” believes Kye will be a good partner to Yana post-villa, adding that there was a lot that viewers didn’t get to see.

Gabby explained that Yana was a lot more cautious about diving back into a relationship with Kye, and said he would gush about her in their daily conversations.

Why Gabby backed Yana and Kye getting back together post Hotel Amor
Gabby and Yana grew extremely close in the Love Island villa, and fans have questioned why Gabby encouraged her bestie to get back with Kye after he strayed in Hotel Amor with Emma.
However, Gabby explained that Yana and Kye hadn’t agreed to be exclusive before their nights away separately, and said they’d only just started exploring the idea.
“I’ve been so supportive of them because Kye is going to Hotel Amor, they weren’t anything like they had only just opened up the idea of getting back together and all those sorts of things. So I think that she’s been able to move on [and continue their relationship now], because they weren’t actually together.”
Gabby added that she’s still really close to Yana and Kye, telling Chattr that they have her vote to win the finale.
