While ex-The Bachelor contestant Sierah Swepstone was one of the MAFS 2025 brides, she isn’t the only one who’s dipped her toes in a dating reality show before.
Yep, Paul — who was on reality TV just two years ago — is one of MAFS 2025 grooms.

What reality show has Paul Antoine been on before?
Paul starred on The Real Love Boat Australia in 2022. The short-lived show was basically Love Island on a boat.
Paul was one of 21 singles who tried to find love with the help of host Darren McMullen, cruise director Hannah Ferrier, head of entertainment Daniel Doody and captain Paolo Arrigo.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?), Paul’s quest for love was about as successful as the show itself, which has since been axed.
Paul is a fitness coach living in Perth. However, he is originally from France and moved to Australia 11 years ago.
When he was on The Real Love Boat Australia, he was hoping to find someone down-to-earth and was a fan of long chats — so we can only assume that’s what he’s looking for this time around, too.
Who is MAFS’ Paul Antoine?
According to Paul’s Channel 9 bio, he’s a hopeless romantic, who’s gone through the small dating pool in Perth.
He’s had two long-term relationships in the past and is ready to find his forever love. Paul said that person would ideally be a woman with European flair, with a smile that lights up the room.

Paul’s MAFS bride is fashion influencer and aspiring actress Carina Mirabile. She’s also no stranger to the silver screen, with an acting career that includes roles in two short films and appearances in several commercials.
When they first got TV hitched, Carina wasn’t exactly over the moon. As luck would have it, the two had already dated before the show but, after a hiking date, Paul ghosted her. So, not exactly the best start.
Despite that little hiccup, it seems like the couple has managed to move on, and their relationship has only gotten stronger since.

When asked about all the MAFS drama unfolding, Carina told us she hasn’t been keeping up because she’s too busy spending time with Paul and the rest of the cast.
“To be fair, my phone is going off, and I’m just enjoying life with Paul and all the rest of the cast that are my friends,” she said.
Life with Paul, you say? Could this be third time lucky for the TV vet? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Sierah Swepstone is the first ex-Bachelor contestant on MAFS
While there always seems to be reality TV crossovers — like MAFS 2024’s Ben Walters apparently being approached for The Bachelors and Janelle Han choosing MAFS 2023 instead of receiving roses — this will actually be the first time an ex-contestant has appeared on the MAFS social experiment.
And if it was going to be anyone, we’re low-key excited it’s Sierah. Her exit from Jimmy’s 2021 season of The Bachelor was iconic.
Remember when she told all of Australia that she “definitely had chlamydia”? We’re all for a woman of honesty who doesn’t give two shits about the judgement.

Daily Mail Australia reported that Sierah was poached by MAFS producers. An insider told the publication, “She is a nutter but amazing for television because she just doesn’t care.”
Honestly, it was a shame that she was on Jimmy’s season (because it had one of the worst ratings in television history). However, it’s good she’ll be making her return on a show people actually care to watch.
Sierah will be joining fellow reality TV personality Paul Antoine from The Real Love Boat, who’s already been married off to his ex-fling Carina Mirabile.
Alongside them is a wave of actor hopefuls, including Ryan Donnelly, and former Neighbours actor turned businessman Jeff Gobbels.

Rachel Gunn — AKA Raygun — is reportedly in the sights ofI’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! producers following her viral breakdancing routine at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
According to New Idea magazine, the 36-year-old has been deemed “the ideal campmate” by unnamed producers of the hit TV show. On top of that, two of the I’m a CelebrityAustralia 2025 cast clues strongly suggest that the Olympian will be heading to South Africa.

In the past, the show has had the likes of Bernard Tomic, Abbie Chatfield, Domenica Calarco, Brendan Fevola, Callum Hole and many more in the campsite.
Is Raygun going to be on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here?
Although Raygun hasn’t officially been confirmed to join the I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025 cast yet, there is some compelling evidence supporting the idea.
In December 2025, the first cast clue was posted on the I’m a Celebrity Instagram account, revealing that an Olympian was entering the jungle.
“A headline-grabbing Olympian has a ticket to the African wilds. They love freestyle; will the Jungle break them?” the narrator said in the clip.
Then, in mid-January 2025, a second clue was published, which further indicated that Raygun was the celeb in question.
The bonus clue shared three emojis representing the mystery Olympian: a kangaroo, a croissant, and a cap.
Of course, Raygun famously imitated a Kangaroo during her routine at the Paris Olympics, during which she wore a cap. It doesn’t exactly take a rocket scientist to connect the emojis to the controversial breakdancer.
Furthermore, back in August 2024, New Idea magazine reported that the I’m a Celebrity producers were in talks with Raygun about joining the show.
“The public will want to hear her story in the jungle. Love her or loathe her, she has everyone talking,” the source told the publication.
Raygun made a video cameo at the 2024 Logies in August, where she encouraged the industry to whip out some of her moves to celebrate the night.

How did Raygun become famous?
Raygun has been the topic of the internet since she performed at the Paris 2024 Olympics, busting out the sprinkler and some kangaroo-esque moves that baffled the audience.
In August, Raygun was referenced on The Jimmy Fallon Show and at an Adele concert that same month, truly proving that she got the world talking (and smiling).
While not everyone was supportive of Raygun making it to the Olympics—where she was awarded zero points—it’s likely that people are keen to hear more about her story.

We now have the confirmed cast for The White Lotus season 3, featuring Season 1’s Natasha Rothwell, the spa manager who was taken for a ride by Jennifer Coolidge‘s character, Tanya McQuoid.
The cast for season 3 also includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood.

Walton has gone ahead and done God’s work for White Lotus fans by sharing a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos of the Season 3 cast. The carousels include photos of cast members Michelle, Carrie and Leslie.
In Season 2, fan favourite and the only returning character, Tanya, was seemingly killed off. Will we see her return from the dead, or perhaps a long-lost twin sister will come in to take her place? Fingers crossed for a Coolidge resurrection, but HBO has been keeping mum if she’s returning.
However, with the release of the full trailer and no Tanya in sight, things don’t look promising.

After vacationing in Maui in Season 1 and Sicily in Season 2, HBO revealed in a statement that Season 3 will take us to the stunning setting of Thailand. Filming locations include Bangkok, Koh Samui and Phuket.
What hotel is The White Lotus filmed at?
The first two seasons were shot at Four Seasons resorts in Hawaii and Italy, and Season 3 followed the trend.
While there are Four Seasons resorts in both Bangkok and Koh Samui, Bloomberg reported in early 2024 that The White Lotus Season 3 would be filmed at the Koh Samui location.
AFAR has also reported that Phuket’s Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas will feature in Season 3 scenes.
What can we expect from The White LotusSeason 3?

In a press release, we got a vague synopsis for this season, “The social satire is set at an exclusive Thai resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.”
If the past two seasons are anything to judge this season off, we know it will be a very dramatic week for the guests.
During an episode of the Unpacking explainer series, White said, “The first season kind of highlighted money, and then the second season is sex.
“I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion – and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”
The show has absolutely cleaned up at awards shows in recent years. In total, the series has been nominated for more than 80 awards, winning 38, including two Golden Globes and 10 Emmy awards.
Is there a Season 4?
Yes, there will be a Season 4 of The White Lotus.
The next season has already been confirmed on the show’s Instagram, but they have kept the details very threadbare.

Sporting a shaggy blonde mullet, heavy eye makeup and chained jeans, Mol slowly built up to the chorus with an eerier and edgier take on the early noughties tune.

With the show primarily showcasing mainstream genres and producing pop artists, Mol’s performance was surprising in a way that Australian audiences are loving.
While some viewers didn’t love the performance and are entitled to that opinion, the response is overwhelmingly positive.
“So good to finally see someone singing screamo,” someone commented on The Voice Instagram, noting that her “growl” was fire.
“An impressive death metal take on ‘Toxic’ that was so entertaining, she has quite an impressive vocal range — I think she will surprise us with what else she is capable of doing,” someone wrote to The Voice Australia Facebook.
Mol’s take on this song is definitely a welcome change. Even people who don’t neccesarily like death metal or screamo as a genre could still appreciate that she nailed it.
“Couldn’t think of anything more painful than listening to Death Metal but that was a fantastic performance and you can only appreciate the talent behind it,” one person wrote.
“Love it or hate it but that was amazing well done Mol !!!!. I loved every second!” wrote another.

It Ends With Us just hit cinemas but there’s one sequel-shaped question on everyone’s lips: will we get a movie adaptation for It Starts With Us — Colleen Hoover‘s follow up novel to It Ends With Us?
Mentions of It Starts With Us have definitely been happening on the red carpets for the It Ends With Us movie but, as of right now, it hasn’t officially been green lit. In fact, it’s looking murkier than ever considering all the supposed beef between leads Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Does It Ends With Us have a sequel?
Colleen’s It Ends With Us book has a sequel called It Starts With Us.
While It Ends With Us follows the story of Lily Bloom trying to navigate a relationship that becomes abusive, It Starts With Us picks up where the last novel ended and focuses on Lily’s relationship with Atlas. (I’d go into further detail, but I don’t want to invite any spoiler backlash!)

Justin, It Ends With Us director and lead actor, optioned the first novel back in 2019 — before It Starts With Us was even published.
Will there be an It Starts With Us movie?
A sequel is an obvious decision based on the huge box office success of It Ends With Us.
While in early August it appeared that no one had secured the rights for the It Starts With Us movie, The Hollywood Reporter is now reporting that Justin and Wayfarer Studios do have the rights for the sequel film.
If there was to be an It Ends With Us sequel off the back of the film’s success, it would be an obvious decision to keep the original cast including Blake as Lily, Justin as Ryle Kincaid, Brandon Sklenaras Atlas Corrigan and Jenny Slate as Alyssa Kincaid.
That being said, there have definitely been sequels that have deviated from the original casting (albeit usually awful).
But even if Justin was no longer in the role of Ryle or as the film director, a sequel involving Blake would mean the pair would still need to work together in some capacity. Because of this, there have been doubts over whether or not the film will go ahead.
What has Justin Baldoni said about an It Ends With Us Sequel?
Justin told Entertainment Tonight that he believes someone else should direct the sequel.
“I think that there are better people for that one,” he said. “I think Blake Lively’s ready to direct, that’s what I think.”
When asked whether or not he’d spoken to Colleen or Blake about a sequel, Justin admitted that he hadn’t.
“I haven’t. I have no idea what that story would be,” Baldoni told TV Insider at a press junket, noting that he’s trying to stay in the present.
“I’m just kind of doing my best to take this all in because it’s been five years to even get us here. So I can’t even fathom another story yet, but I’m so happy that fans love it and that she did it.”
What has Colleen Hover said about an It Starts With Us movie?
Author Colleen has definitely entertained the idea of a movie sequel.
“I think whoever decides to take charge of the next one would do it justice,” she told ET.
“I think they’re all in it for the right reasons, so I think that will be exciting. But it’s a lot of people to get the same schedules together again, so we’ll see.”
In regards to Blake coming on as director, the author said she’d “absolutely” be into that.
Considering It Ends With Us is all anyone’s talking about right now — and considering a lot of people want to see more of Atlas — we think a sequel could definitely be on the cards.
The It Ends With Us drama has been dominating our algorithms for the past fortnight, moving from a rumoured rift between Blake Livelyand Justin Baldoni to an all-out public scrutiny of Blake’s promotional run. Now, costar Brandon Sklenar has addressed the criticism.
Taking to Instagram this week, Brandon released an online statement to discuss for “vilifying the women of this cast” is “counterproductive” to the film’s message.
Why are people criticising Blake Lively?
This month, Blake has been gradually dragged online for interviews, including one where she tells the audience to “wear their florals” for a film about domestic violence.
Old interviews have also been surfacing including one where she is rude to an interviewer and one where she makes a transphobic slur.
In one interview, the interviewer asks how those who personally resonate with It Ends With Us‘ themes can go about discussing it with Blake, to which she jokes about sharing her location or address alongside Brandon, who plays love interest Atlas Corrigan in It Ends With Us.
What did Brandon Sklenar’s statement say?
“I wanted to take a minute and address all this stuff swirling online,” 34-year-old Brandon wrote in an image uploaded to his Instagram account.
“The women of this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and for women choosing a better life for themselves,” he continued.
“Vilifying the women who put so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and detracts from what this film is about.”
For weeks, rumours have been circling of creative differences between Blake, who plays lead actress Lily Bloom in It Ends With Us, and Justin, the director and also the lead actor playing the role of Ryle Kincaid.
When he was asked about an It Starts With Us movie — the It Ends With Us sequel — Justin suggested Blake as director.
“What may or may not have happened behind the scenes does not and hopefully should not detract from what our intentions were in making this film,” Brandon said.

“It’s been disheartening to see the amount of negativity being projected online.”
He called for people to stop spreading hate online and to remind themselves of the core message of the film.
“This movie is a harsh reality check for the men who need to get their shit together and take responsibility for themselves and their actions,” he wrote.

“Ultimately it’s meant to spread love and awareness. It is not meant to once again, make the women the ‘bad guy,’ let’s move beyond that together.”
Home and Away fans are praising the soap for the “powerful” portrayal of grief by actor Ethan Browne (Tane) on the show’s August 19 episode.
In the emotional scene, Tane mourns the loss of Felicity (played by Jaqui Purvis) following her shock death while performing the Haka.
Perri, played by Cantona Stewart, watches on in concern and heartbreak as Tane grieves Felicity.
Home and Away fans have been quick to share their thoughts on the episode, praising the scene along with Ethan’s acting and the inclusion of Maori culture.
Home and Away hair and makeup designer Laura Vazquez wrote, “So powerful, so beautiful. Felt every emotion in this scene,” on an Instagram post sharing the scene.
“Absolutely love that the Maori culture and traditions has been brought into the show. Such a beautiful culture,” another comment read.
“Finishing with the Haka was a perfect ending to the episode. And done with such pure emotion,” said another.
“Couldn’t stop crying watching this,” a commenter added.

Felicity collapsed at Cash and Eden’s engagement party during the August 12 episode. Felicity and Tane split late last year after Tane discovered she had been taking birth control pills behind his back.
At the engagement party, Felicity and Tane danced, flirted and instilled hope in viewers at home who have been rooting for their relationship. She then got blurred vision and collapsed before being taken to hospital.
The doctor declared she had suffered a brain aneurysm and she was eventually taken off life support on the August 19 episode.

The Voice 2024 is set to premiere this August with Guy Sebastian, Kate Miller-Heidke, Adam Lambert and LeAnn Rimes leading the charge as coaches for the new season.
Apparently there’s one celebrity coach that got a little overexcited this season though, with fellow The Voice judge Kate labelling them as “trigger happy” with that big red button.

“Adam was super trigger happy,” Kate revealed in an exclusive interview with Chattr, explaining that he chewed up most of his singer positions within the first half of the blind auditions.

“He turned around for for so many people very early on in the filming and then he found himself with one spot left for, like the second half of the blinds,” Kate explained.
“He got a bit overexcited.”
On The Voice, four judges have traditionally gotten to choose 12 singers each. If they turn around for a contestant who chooses to be on their team in return, it means that one of their 12 positions have been filled.

Kate explained to Chattr that she turned around for moments that really struck her.
“You’re just listening to hear that one magic moment,” Kate explained to Chattr. “It’s such a cliche, but that magic moment in a song that gives you goosebumps or surprises you in some way.”

“Sometimes it’s really it can be hard to tell because a lot of people are struggling with nerves. It’s a deeply nerve-wracking experience to get up on that stage and you’re just waiting to hear that that kernel of something amazing.”

Kate revealed to Chattr that it was her first time meeting both LeAnn and Adam, the latter of which became one of her “favourite” people.
“They were both so lovely,” Kate explained of meeting Adam and LeAnn for the first time on The Voice.
“Leanne shot to superstardom when she was only 12 years old,” Kate recalled.

“This season is as drama-filled but in really different ways,” Chatfield told Daily Telegraph earlier this year.
“The stories along the way are way more complex and I think the three leading women did such an amazing job at supporting each other, really doing detective work and being steadfast.
“They had some hard conversations with each other along the way as well, which I think is what real friendship is all about.”

Where is FBoy Island Australia filmed?
Sadly (or gladly?) there is no actual FBoy Island on Google Maps. FBoy Island Australia is filmed in a place called Casaurina which is 150km south to south east of Brisbane.
Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys is getting a prequel spinoff called Vought Rising which is great news for fans who were bummed about Season 5 ending.
The Boys spinoff was announced during a panel presentation at San Diego Comic-Con. Supernatural‘s Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy) and Aya Cash (Stormfront) will feature in the new prequel series.
Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming The Boys spinoff, Vought Rising.
What is The Boys spinoff Vought Rising about?
Vought Rising is “a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s”, according to the official The Boys Instagram page.
“Vought Rising may or may not feature the very first Herogasm, founded in 1952,” the post added about The Boys spinoff.
For the uninitiated, Herogasm is a yearly festival where superheroes engage in a bunch of sexual activity. A selling point for the new spinoff if I ever did hear one!
Vought Rising will also follow “the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical manoeuvres of a ‘Supe’ known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought”, according to executive producers Eric Kripke and Paul Grellong‘s statement (shared by news.com.au).
“We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.”
This will be the third The Boys spinoff.
The Boys Season 5 will be the last
During the San Diego Comic-Con panel, it was also revealed that Jensen will play a major role in The Boys Season 5 and that a relationship between Soldier Boy and Homelander will be further explored.
The Boys Season 4 premiered in June 2024 and it was recently confirmed that Season 5 would be its last.
Just before the highly anticipated premiere of Season 4 in June, Eric Kripke (the mastermind behind the show), announced that Season 5 would be the final season.
“SEE YOU FOR OUR FINAL SEASON, MOTHERF***ERS!” the tweet read.
“From the very beginning, I wanted to wrap it out around season five,” Kripke told The Hollywood Reporter.
“And then I would say plans really solidified that we were going to actually do it years ago.
“It might have been because I was trained as a TV writer and there were five acts,” he added.
“It gives you enough time to get to know the characters… It’s about the characters and then you kick off into a climax.”
End of an era! At least now we have The Boys spinoff to look forward to, huh?
Harry Garside has shared a heartfelt message on social media after missing out on the gold medal he was gunning for at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Overnight Australian time, Harry was eliminated in the first round of the men’s 63.5kg class. He won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games and had been hoping to score a gold in Paris.
In a post-match interview that personally broke my heart watching at home, Harry apologised to his home country and revealed that times ahead will be tough for him.

“It is crazy… two decades dedicated to one dream and it is over just like that,” Harry told Nine.
“Australia is such a sporting nation and I’m so sorry. Honestly, I feel like a failure right now … I don’t even know what to say,” he added.
“Deep down inside I fear for what the next couple of months look like for myself. I’m sure there’ll be some dark times. I’ve just got to prepare for that now.”
Harry’s heartfelt realisation
Harry has taken to social media following his Olympics outcome to share how he’s feeling after some time to process and we’re glad to see him looking a bit more optimistic.
Sharing that he’s been “beating himself up for a couple of hours” over the events before coming to a “realisation”.
“I had this realisation that I wanted a two-decade journey to try and get that gold medal. And yes, I didn’t get that gold medal but I became my own friend in that journey,” Harry reflected.
Harry continued to explain that his self-worth was low at the beginning of the journey and now he feels like he has the relationship with himself to manage his inner-critic.
“Over the last three years, I really worked hard and trying to build my self-worth and trying to grow and evolve and be kind to myself more often. In that, I don’t get success, but I’d rather be my friend and have no success.”
Harry then got emotional as he went on to share his hopes of becoming a dad one day.
“Being a dad and not passing on negative things to my kids is really important to me. So I’m really happy that the two-decade journey wasn’t for nothing,” Harry finished.

In the social media post announcing Janet’s passing, Neighbours cast memberJackie Woodburne (who plays Susan Kennedy) remembered Janet as “an extraordinary woman” who she will miss.
“Janet was one of the finest actors of her generation, but more than that, she was an extraordinary woman,” Jackie said in the Neighbours post.
“Passionate, political, curious, delightfully eccentric, generous and fun. To me she was a steadfast friend for over 45 years. I will miss her every day.”
Stefan Dennis (who plays Paul Robinson) commented on the post to echo Jackie’s words.
“So very upset to lose the lovely Janet,” Stefan wrote. “As Jackie said, she truly was an exceptional actress who was a pleasure work with and to be around. We will all miss you dear girl.”

This is huge news for Home and Away fans as the rumours of the pair’s romance first started swirling in May after photos of Ada and James kissing emerged.
It was following the April announcement of Ada’s split from Adam Rigby. Ada and Adam were together for eight years.
James, 48, finalised his divorce from former Home And Away star Sarah Roberts in March. The pair were together for five years.

Ada and James play husband and wife on Home and Away as their characters Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan. In fact, the pair filmed wedding scenes for the soap last year and the episode itself aired in April.
Prior to Ada’s confirmation of their relationship, The Sunday Telegraph reported that she was spotted kissing James at a Seven Network Christmas party last year.
That being said, Ada shut down any rumours that she was involved with James during shooting.

How did Eden feel when Jayden told her that confession?
Even though it seemed like Jayden’s confession was quickly forgotten about by viewers, Eden revealed that the whole thing really changed things for the relationship.
“When I first experienced the confession letter in real life, I had only known Jayden a few weeks,” Eden told Chattr.
“It was hard at the time as I really liked him. Prior to finding out I trusted him 100 per cent and but that trust was completely shattered,” she continued.
“It made me question and overthink everything he ever said from that day on.
“So as much as I did make the choice to forgive him, the trust was subconsciously broken and I wouldn’t have been the best version of myself in the relationship from then on.”
How did Eden feel watching Australia’s reaction to Jayden’s confession?
Eden says that having to watch the confession on television was difficult, especially because of how much their relationship had grown outside the experiment in that time.
“Reliving the story all over again when it aired was really hard for me as by that point I’d been with the guy for seven-to-eight months and was completely in love.
“It was tough seeing everyone’s opinions and they way people spoke about him online.”

How did Eden find out Jayden’s confession was a lie?
While Australia found out about the lie within 24 hours of the episode airing, Eden thought it was true for months — up until Jayden himself admitted it was false.
“The day after it aired, his ex-girlfriend had come out and claimed the story was false,” Eden recalled.
“After that, he did admit to me that it didn’t happen.
“It made me really angry to be honest — angry at him for putting me through that and putting his ex through that and for sharing it on national television.
“It honestly made me so angry that if I wanted to be with him, I really had to choose to forgive him for it and never bring it up again, which is the choice I made.”

As for why Jayden would make up a story that doesn’t necessarily make him look great of national (and later international) television, Eden hinted she’d probably never know.
“It baffles me to this day why anyone would make that up,” she explained to Chattr.
“I couldn’t get a straight answer from him as to why, just lots of different reasons and blaming other people which didn’t make any sense.”

The footage shows Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) having a very sensual dream about his mother, Alyssa Targaryen (Emeline Lambert).

“On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease.
“The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie.
“The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace,” the statement continued.
Costars mourn Shannen Doherty’s death
Shannen’s costars and friends have been taking to social media to grieve following the news of her death.
Rose McGowan, who starred in Charmed following Shannen’s departure from the hit show, remembered her friend as a “soft-hearted badass” with the “heart of a lion”.
Jennie Garth starred in Beverly Hills, 90210 with Shannen, both in the original version of the series and the 90210 reboot which started airing in 2008.
“I am still processing my tremendous grief over the loss of my long-time friend Shannen, the woman I have often described as one of the strongest people I have ever known,” Jennie wrote alongside photos of the pair from their early Beverly Hills, 90210 days.
Shenae Grimes-Beech, who played Annie Wilson in the 90210 reboot alongside Shannen, shared her tribute on Instagram Reels.
“To the icon, the legend, the take-no-sh!t WARRIOR of a woman, Shannen Doherty… thank you for inspiring me in more ways than I can bring myself to put into words right now,” Shenae wrote alongside a video she posted to Instagram.
“You paved the way and it was an absolute privilege and honour to follow in your footsteps.”

Shannen Doherty cause of death
Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer almost a decade ago. She confirmed the news in August 2015 when she was aged 44.
“Yes, I have breast cancer, and I am currently undergoing treatment,” the actress said in a statement to PEOPLE at the time.
Two years later Shannen went into remission but announced in 2020 that the cancer had returned as Stage 4. It was made public in court documents that her cancer was terminal, as reported by TODAY.
Shannen underwent brain surgery in 2023 following the cancer metastasising to her bones and brain.
Shannen had been open and honest about her condition in her ‘Let’s Be Clear’ podcast, sharing that earlier treatment protocols were no longer working.
Our thoughts are with Shannen’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

When asked by Chattr what her thoughts are about Sara and Lauren calling out Tim’s behaviour, she made it clear that what Tim said was “inappropriate”.
“I don’t think there was any malicious intent from Tim, but it’s definitely important for him to understand that using that kind of language is inappropriate and can be really damaging,” Eden told Chattr.
“However, I also believe that Lauren and Sara need to take some accountability for the name calling, insults, and bullying behaviour that they constantly demonstrate themselves.”
What do Lauren and Sara think about their cast’s comments?
In response to the “double standards” claims of her cast mates, Sara argued that “two wrongs don’t make a right”.
“Just because I did wrong doesn’t mean that Tim gets a hall pass for alluding to calling me a bitch,” Sara told Chattr.
“I apologised to Cassandra,” Sara added, in response to calling her the C word.
“That is the only time I use vulgar language to someone. And I would never do that publicly on the internet for the world to see.”
Lauren responded to the comments from her MAFS cast mates in a follow-up video on Instagram.
“I was the queen of the insult. I understand that. The purpose of what we’re talking about is men with a platform perpetuating language that is violent to women.”

Ferrell’s legal name is John William Ferrell.
Discussing his youth with Applegate, Ferrell mentioned that he was able to make friends easily thanks to “being funny”.
However, he mentioned that the start of every school year could be quite embarrassing for him thanks to his real name rearing its head.
“This is a minor thing in terms of — it’s not really even trauma — but I remember feeling so embarrassed because my real name is John, John William Ferrell, so first day of school, I’d be John,” Ferrel recalled on the podcast.
“The teacher would be like ‘John Ferrell?’ and it was so embarrassing to me to have to say ‘Here, but I go by Will, I don’t go by John.’ “

Unfazed, Strecker dropped Stonestreet’s name like the hot tea it is.
“He’s [Cameron Tucker] from Modern Family, and he’s like the chubby, jolly, sweet, funny one,” Strecker clarified when DeSorbo didn’t recognise the name.

Esteemed US comedian Chelsea Handler told The Project host Sam Taunton exactly how she felt about the Margot Robbie pregnancy joke he made and it wasn’t pretty.
Rumours quickly spread yesterday that Robbie and her partner, Tom Ackerley, were expecting their first child after paparazzi shots of the actress sporting an exposed stomach surfaced.
As Australia’s golden girl, it’s no surprise that Robbie’s reported pregnancy with Ackerley was a topic of conversation on the entertainment news program, The Project.

“I’ve seen the Barbie movie by the way,” Taunton said. “It’s going to have to be a C-section.”
The joke didn’t immediately land with his cohosts, who started asking what he meant.
Later in The Project episode, which aired Monday, June 8, Handler joined the desk to promote her upcoming comedy tour titled ‘Little Big Bitch’.
“Before you get started, I want to touch on your Barbie joke,” Handler told Taunton.
“How can you even make a joke like that when you know a comedian is coming on the show? That’s humiliating for both of us,” she roasted him.

Jessica Gunning wowed audiences around the world with her groundbreaking portrayal of Martha in the Netflix sensation Baby Reindeer.
However, news has just surfaced that there was another name in the mix for the role and I’m not sure how to feel about it.
According to a report by Variety, a source has claimed that agents for creator Richard Gadd (who also wrote and starred in Baby Reindeer as himself) “pushed aggressively” for Melissa McCarthy to play the leading role of Martha.
While McCarthy is known for her comedic roles such as her ones in Bridesmaids, The Heat and more, she has also shown her depth and more serious side in other roles such as Can You Ever Forgive Me? in 2018.
“A knowledgeable source says McCarthy met Gadd about the role but ultimately wasn’t interested,” the Variety report said.
“Those familiar with the production say Gadd micromanaged casting and fired his CAA agents after they and Netflix pushed aggressively for Melissa McCarthy to be cast as Martha.”
I don’t doubt that McCarthy would’ve been phenomenal in the role of Martha just like she nails every other character she’s portrayed, but Gunning’s casting was so perfect it’s hard to imagine the shoes being filled by anyone else.
Honestly, the way she brought so many layers to such a complex character was incredible.

You know what they say: oral sex sells. OK, maybe that’s not quite it, but the gobby scene in the latest episode of House of the Dragon sure is getting people talking about the hit show.
The Game of Thrones spinoff has shocked viewers of Season 2, Episode 3 thanks to a massive penis (or schlong, wang, meat slapper for the more fun among you) alongside a spot of confronting blowjob activity.
It happened around halfway through the episode, which I know not from watching (it’s on my list) but because of how wild the internet’s going over it.
So how does a bit of head happen mid-episode, you ask? Well, King Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) treated his soldiers to a cheeky night out at a brothel — as you do — following many drinks.
When they rock up to said brothel, King Aegon opens a set of curtains to reveal a bunch of people getting jiggy with it.
The first curtain? A rather large penis. In a mouth. In front of all of our salads.
In case you were wondering: it’s been widely reported that the penis in question was a prosthetic one.
More explicit sex acts were revealed as he continued pulling back curtains, but nothing quite slapped viewers in the face like that first scenario.
The Game of Thrones universe is not a stranger to nudity and sex scenes. In the same episode, there is a full-frontal nude scene of Prince Aemond Targaryen (played by Ewan Mitchell).
Regardless, nothing prepared The House of the Dragon community for what they saw in Season 2, Episode 3.
“Was not expecting an explicit blowjob then Aemond full frontal in the span of 2 minutes,” a Redditor wrote.

There’s some strong intel that Home and Away‘s golden girl — none other than OG Kate Ritchie — could be returning to Summer Bay. And you know what? I think it’s what the show needs.
Kate Richie played Sally Fletcher on the Australian soap from 1988 until 2008 and her character absolutely went through it throughout her 20-year stint.
Her storylines included (but were not limited to) a dead husband, a long-lost brother and an imaginary friend. What a trooper!
Sally was an icon in Summer Bay and our television screens alike. There’s no doubt about it. And in my humble opinion, Home and Away has lost the plot in the years since she left the show.
That’s why I’m absolutely rooting for all these rumours about her returning to be true. But will it be enough, or is the show too far gone?
Will Kate Richie return to Home and Away?
Last year, Richie told her radio co-hosts on the Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael “Wippa” Wipfli that she’d definitely be back for a final episode of the show — not unlike Kylie Minogue returning from the final episode of Neighbours (or what we thought was the final episode).
“If Ray Meagher (Alf Stewart) asked me to come back, to change the sheets in the Caravan Park, I’d be there,” Richie told her cohosts in 2023.
“I know you’re going back to the bay,” Wippa pushed. “I’ve seen your emails as I sit next to you in the office.”
“No you don’t, you have bad eyes,” Richie laughed back.
Wippa went on to say that he wanted to get “Home & Away fans warmed up” by “rolling out a couple of scenes here at Nova”. As he delved further into his plans, Kate asked:
“What is the point of this? Why are you trying to make me look silly, and you’re actually trying to blow an exclusive.”
The rumours of Ritchie’s Home and Away return come after Meagher told TV Tonight that the longtime soap has lost its way.
When Ritchie started on the show, Home and Away was about a seaside community with the Fletcher family taking in foster children.
In recent times, however, the show became more focused on harder-hitting storylines, like crime, since the infamous “River Boys” (Lincoln Younes, Steve Peacocke and Dan Ewing) of 2011.
“I mean, that was just a great period. But was it Summer Bay? Hmmm …. in my humble opinion, not to that extent.”
But can any one person actually save Summer Bay?
While it seems like a return from Richie could help to get Home and Away bring back some lost viewers, there’d need to be more than just her reprised character to save the soap.
We’ve seen the return of other Home and Away OGs before like Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) and Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons), however, the show’s storylines and character mix were still different to its heyday.
Take Summer Bay High, for example. Not having the high school (we haven’t seen it since 2019) gaping hole in the current Home and Away format.
When a photo of ex-Summer Bay High students Casey Braxton (Younes), Sasha Bezmel (Demi Harman), Spencer Harrington (Andrew Morley) and Maddy Osborne (Kassandra Clementi) was posted to a popular Facebook group, fans were quick to get nostalgic.
“I wish they would use the school scenes again,” one fan wrote.
“I loved that it USED [to] encompass most age groups, if I am entirely honest I no longer get sad if I miss a[n] episode or two, or seven,” wrote another.
“Bring back those days. The present storylines are ridiculous.”
Perhaps if Sally comes back and resumes her role as a teacher, and they bring back a whole bunch of teenagers that Australia’s youth can relate to, then Home and Away might be in with a fighting chance?
If they could bring back Kim Hyde (Chris Hemsworth) while they’re at it, that’d be great.
Last night, fan favourite Lachlan “Lochy” Whittle‘s time in the MasterChef kitchen came to a devastating end after he lost the time auction elimination challenge to fellow contestant (and bestie), Harry Butterfield.
“I’m just really proud of the food that I was able to put up,” Whittle reflects, speaking with Chattr.
“To not have the apparatus of what I’m so used to and what I’m actually really good at, to be able to get as deep in the competition as I did. I am extremely proud of that moment.”
Whittle describes the solace he finds in cooking and the release it gives him; something he looks forward to after work, even on the “bad days.”
“[You] just put on an album and cook something delicious and just groove to some music, and everything’s going to be all right again,” he says.
Whittle’s story has touched the hearts of many a MasterChef viewer after the heartbreaking reveal that his mother, Jan, passed away from Huntington’s Disease just days before filming.
The news came out during the Mum Cook challenge episode, along with another poignant revelation: that Whittle has since discovered he has inherited the degenerative brain condition.
Despite not having a conventional upbringing, he recalls, one where disease was an uncannily familiar character, but “always a difficult thing,” Whittle thanks his mum for giving him the power in that cook “to be able to push through, and realise that no matter what there is, I can overcome obstacles and keep pushing forward.”
He remembers that challenging day on the Masterchef floor, “the crew and the other contestants and even the judges knew what I was going through, and the support that I had on that day was phenomenal.”
Thinking about some of his favourite moments from the show, Whittle is grateful for the close friendship he struck up with kitchen mate, Harry Butterfield.
“It means the world to be able to be able to come into the competition and be able to click with somebody like Harry from day one,” he says.
“To have that kind of support system, that we would do so much together on our mornings to help get into the zone. Going into the kitchen and cooking every day, and then being able to come back and debrief with each other, cook for each other, and just talk about food and support each other’s ideas… it just made it so, so great.”

He also fondly calls to mind “a really cool moment” that happened with esteemed Vietnamese-Australian chef and restaurateur, Luke Nguyen. It was particularly significant to him, given it was Nguyen who first made Whittle “fall in love” with Vietnamese cuisine.
“I actually travelled to Vietnam because of falling in love with him and his show and how he talks about food,” says Whitall.
“In my first cook in that elimination, I tried to really ‘MasterChef’ something on a traditional Vietnamese dish, and just didn’t pull it off.”
Despite the dish, short rib Bo La Lot, being what he estimates to be around 15 minutes away from what he envisioned, Whittle describes “the little message that Luke wrote to me in my Luke Nguyen Vietnam cookbook, which was absolutely beautiful, that made me feel so good about where my head was at.”

“Don’t be surprised if you see that coming up in one of my restaurants, because I thought that was a fabulous idea,” wrote Nguyen.
The chef also gave a cheeky “Ps.” that he would be nabbing the wing bean and green mango pickle recipe Whittle used in his subsequent ghee-seared kingfish cook.
“I pride myself on Vietnamese cooking, and I tried to do a lot in that cook to really impress him. I may have bitten off more than I could chew, especially for a dish I hadn’t tested or done before,” Whittle admits.
“But to have that message after not being eliminated come down right in front of me really made me feel special about that.”

There are a lot of things I’m still forgiving Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes for (like that musical episode — why?) but the departure of Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) from the Seattle Grace roster is pretty high on that list.
Today Dane — the man who played McStreamy before he rudely McLeft us — has helped us inch closer to closure by clarifying why he was savagely booted from the wildly successful television drama.

(Side note: I’m going to assume if you’re here you know what happened to Dane’s character in Grey’s Anatomy Season 9 but, on the off chance you don’t, I should let you know that this article will include spoilers.)
In a new podcast episode of Dax Shepard‘s Armchair Expert, Dane opened up about his struggles with drugs and alcohol, however, clarified that it wasn’t the reason he left Grey’s Anatomy.
In fact, he basically says he didn’t leave at all — at least not on his own accord.
“I didn’t leave so much as I think I was let go,” Dane explained.
“I was struggling. They didn’t let me go because of that, although it definitely didn’t help”.
The 51-year-old went on to say that he was let go after his six-year stint on the medical drama due to his pay-check.
“I was starting to become – as most of these actors who have spent significant time on the show – you start to become very expensive for the network,” Dane told Shepard.
“And the network knows that the show is going to do what it’s going to do irrespective of who they keep on it – as long as they have their [Meredith] Grey they were fine.”

To refresh your memory, Dane was killed off following a fatal plane accident.
It was extra hard pill to swallow considering we had lost Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh) — another main character and McSteamy’s longtime love interest — just a few episodes prior.
It’s still one of the most talked about storylines of the show’s 20-season strong run on air.

The deaths of the pair were so impactful that Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital was renamed the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in tribute.
Dane joined Grey’s Anatomy in Season Two which aired back in 2006.
“I wasn’t the same guy they had hired. So I had understood when I was let go,” Dane explained on the podcast.
“And Shonda was really great,” Dane clarified of the mastermind behind the show.
“She protected us fiercely. She protected us publicly. She protected us privately…,” he continued.
“But I was probably fired. It wasn’t ceremoniously like, ‘You’re fired,’ it was just like, ‘You’re not coming back.’”
They say reasons can provide understanding and closure, but I’m not sure these ones are going to help me sleep any better at night. Especially when my dreams involve an alternate universe where Mark and Lexie have several babies.
But at least Dane can get decent shut-eye knowing that the show peaked while he was on it?

Former MAFS stars Brett and Angel Renall and Benjamin Blackwell shared the news of Andrew’s death to Instagram, as reported by NZ Herald.

Andrew appeared in MAFS NZ Season 1 back in 2017 when he was aged 26. He was matched with bride Vicky Gleeson-Stokes but the pair were not able to make the relationship work beyond the reality TV show.
A year after his time on MAFS, Andrew publicly questioned the show’s ethics, saying he and his match, Vicky, were complete opposites.

Australian singer Tones And I has addressed the collapse of negotiations with the NRL after the league confirmed it would abandon its traditional Grand Final pre-match entertainment.
The news broke on Tuesday when Australian Rugby League Commission chair Peter V’landys revealed the NRL would no longer proceed with plans for The Voice coach to perform at next month’s decider.
Instead, the money that would have been spent on the entertainment act will reportedly be redirected towards helping children who cannot afford to participate in rugby league.
However, Tones And I’s management has clarified that no official deal was ever signed or confirmed in writing.

In a statement provided to ABC Sport, management representative Regan Lethbridge said the decision came down to the singer’s existing commitments.
“Tones was recently approached to perform the pre-show at the NRL grand final,” the statement read
“An offer was presented to Tones via management on September 5.”
The statement explained that Tones And I had been trying to make the performance work around a previous commitment with US artist Macklemore.
“Tones had a prior commitment with Macklemore in America and explored all avenues to make it work,” the statement continued.
“Nothing was signed or confirmed in writing.
“Due to the last-minute nature and prior commitments by Tones, we were unable to accept the offer.
“We wish the NRL nothing but the very best for their event.”
Tones And I’s Grand Final performance plans reportedly fell apart over this one request
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, one reported sticking point in negotiations was the NRL’s alleged request for Tones And I to perform her global smash hit Dance Monkey — a song the singer has previously revealed she does not enjoy performing.
The track became a worldwide phenomenon after its release in 2019, topping charts across the globe and becoming one of Australia’s biggest musical exports.
However, neither Tones And I’s team nor NRL boss Peter V’landys has confirmed that the song choice played a role in the collapse of talks.
The reported disagreement comes after Tones And I was also navigating other professional commitments, including a planned performance with US rapper Macklemore.
Macklemore recently faced his own touring shake-up after he was removed from Ed Sheeran’s The Loop Tour following backlash over his public comments supporting Palestine.

ICYMI: Nine has unveiled a brand-new companion series, The Block: The House Next Door, which is set to premiere alongside next year’s season of the reno show.
The Stan Original will follow a group of returning fan-favourite contestants as they tackle their sixth renovation in an All Stars competition taking place right next door to the homes featured in the main series.
While the broadcaster has confirmed the new format, the identities of the returning Blockheads are still being kept under wraps.
So, we reached out to a bunch of iconic Blockheads to see if they’d be down to return and their responses were rather interesting!
Which The Block contestants would return for All-Stars?
The majority of the teams we chatted exclusively to said they were keen to get on the tools once again.
Eliza and Liberty from 2023’s season said they’d “absolutely froth the opportunity to go back” but reckon “there’s probably quite a few stylistically talented teams The Block would call before us”.
As for Ronnie and Georgia, they said they’d of course be keen but doubt they’ll be asked to return for a third time and honestly, stranger things have happened!
“We’ve heard a little through the grapevine and the project looks amazing,” they said.
“A build centred around restoration with so much historical significance would definitely be right up our alley. As for us… we’d never say never! But the chances of us doing it for a third time would be crazy… Then again… third time lucky?!”
And finally, one team, which shall remain nameless, responded to our request for comment with two sneaky words: “Top secret.”

Which teams are a maybe
Last year’s fan fave Robby (of team Robby and Mat) told us: “We’ve heard, and that’s very exciting!”
“Mat and I have been so busy with our family and the business that we haven’t even had time to see each other, let alone sit down and discuss the current affairs,” he said.
“I guess we’ll just have to wait until the phone rings!”
So it’s more of a ‘we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it’ vibe!

As for Kirsty and Jesse, who appeared in the 2021 season, they told us they have backtracked on their stance about never returning, but they’re still not 100%.
“We have heard lots of rumours and lots of our followers have messaged asking us if we are going back for round two,” Kirsty said.
“We always said we would never do The Block again because our house was such a mammoth task and almost broke us BUT of course time heals all wounds and it’s been a while.”

Her one caveat is that she’d like a little less drama this time, and said her hubby might need “a little more convincing”.
“I would love to experience it again without all the drama that was on our season, it was really hard to enjoy any of it with the constant drama every single week and I also lost my nan who I was extremely close to while filming so it was a pretty shitty time for us,” she said.
“But we haven’t stopped renovating since the show, so Jesse might take a little more convincing.”
Which The Block contestants don’t want to return
Of all the contestants we reached out to, only one team was a no, but it was for noble reasons.
The lovely Tam (of Jimmy and Tam) wrote to us: We’ve heard the news about the All Stars season — very exciting!”
“We honestly feel like we had our go, and we were incredibly lucky to have such an amazing experience and do so well. The Block opened so many doors for us and will always be a really special chapter in our lives,” she said.

“Because of that, we’d actually love to see someone else get the opportunity to experience what we did. It can be completely life-changing, and it would be so nice to see another couple have their moment.”
She concluded, “Never say never, but for us, there’s something really lovely about being able to look back on our season with so much gratitude and let someone else have their turn.”

More than five weeks after Hayden Panettiere died aged 36, officials have shared the results of her post-mortem examination, shedding new light on the circumstances surrounding her death.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed the actor had multiple substances in her system, including fentanyl and its chemical byproduct, the anti-anxiety medication alprazolam, a muscle relaxant, and a medication used to treat major depression and other serious mental health conditions.
Coroner Mike Ellis said the autopsy found nothing to suggest Panettiere suffered any physical injuries that contributed to her death.
“At autopsy no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death,” Ellis said in a statement.
While the medical findings have now been released, authorities say the case is not yet closed.
Police previously stated there were no signs of foul play after attending Panettiere’s South Carolina apartment following reports of a cardiac arrest on August 16. However, investigators have since confirmed enquiries are still ongoing.
Family publicist Kasey Kitchen echoed that message, telling The Associated Press the investigation is far from over.
“The investigation is still ongoing, and the case is complex,” Kitchen said.
Boyfriend Brian Hickerson was at the apartment when she died
Panettiere was found unresponsive inside a South Carolina apartment where her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother, Zach Hickerson, were both present.
According to police, Zach was “very emotional” throughout the emergency response, while Brian reportedly remained calm until paramedics declared the actor dead after more than 40 minutes of CPR.
Officers also said Brian handed over a bag containing medication Panettiere had reportedly been taking around the time of her death.
The attending officer wore a body camera during the incident, although the footage has not been made public.

Their relationship had a troubled history
Panettiere and Hickerson had recently reunited after a five-year protective order involving the pair expired earlier this year.
The couple’s relationship had previously been marred by domestic violence incidents. In 2021, Hickerson served a short sentence after pleading no contest to two felony counts relating to assaults on Panettiere in 2019 and 2020.
In the days following her daughter’s death, Panettiere’s estranged mother, Lesley Vogel, publicly criticised Hickerson, accusing him of enabling the actor’s struggles.
“This person in her life that we have been trying to get rid of for quite some time was with her at her death, and that was Brian Hickerson,” Vogel told NBC News.
“There is a lot of history in the past that Brian has enabled Hayden many times, and this is why her father and I had been concerned for a long time about him.”
Hickerson’s lawyer later responded by urging the public not to jump to conclusions while authorities continue their investigation.
“Hayden’s death remains under investigation and it is important to allow that investigation to proceed.”
“Out of respect for Hayden’s loved ones and the ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment at this time.”
Panettiere had spoken candidly about her mental health
Throughout her career, Panettiere was open about the challenges she faced with her mental health.
She spoke publicly about experiencing postnatal depression after welcoming her daughter, Kaya, with former fiancé Wladimir Klitschko, and later reflected on how those experiences mirrored her character Juliette Barnes’ storyline in Nashville.
She also shared the devastating impact of losing her younger brother, Jansen Panettiere, who died in 2023 at the age of 28 from a heart condition.

Interior designer Chris Carroll of TLC Interiors (@tlcinteriors) has shared his take on last night’s ep exclusively with Chattr and his thoughts are rather intriguing.
Firstly, he agrees with the judges that Lisa and Rosco’s home is very livable, but he feels the judges are “sleeping on” another pair.
“Lisa and Rosco have a great sense of cohesion in their home; the rooms connect well, and there’s an overarching style,” Chris began. “However, the judges are sleeping on Chantel and Wyatt. Are the rooms a bit boring? Sure. Does this mass-appeal approach work when selling to the general public? Absolutely. So many Aussies love the safe, all-white look, so Chantel and Wyatt, though not winning major points from the judges, are delivering a home people can put their own stamp on.”
He also agreed with Marty’s opinion that Adam and Jolene’s kitchen was a standout, but that the “best kitchen anyone’s seen in 20 years” accolade was a “stretch”.

“This room orientation — with the island running parallel to the dining table overlooking the living room — is always the most successful layout,” he said. “It allows for a real connection between the zones, feels more harmonious, and points toward the view. The best kitchen anyone’s seen in 20 years is a stretch, but it was impressive.”

From a design POV, Chris tipped his hat to one team in particular, noting that they have the best design instincts of the entire cast.
“Lisa and Rosco are delivering design that pushes the envelope a little without taking it too far,” he opined.

Which contestants made “cheap and tacky” choices
As for the teams that could use some work, he noted that Tayla and Rick’s kitchen “came across as a bit tacky” due to all the wine fridges.
“If anyone legitimately owns that many wine bottles, they’re a collector. And a collector would want a cellar for their bottles, not several display areas in their kitchen to show off their vino to guests. It doesn’t make any sense.”
He also noted that “a few appliances need to go” from some kitchens.
“In Courtney and Sev’s, the industrial style fridge really breaks up the calm, harmonious feel they were going for. It would look right at home in a restaurant kitchen, but not in a residential setting of this style,” he began.
“The same can be said for Rick and Tayla. Who needs three tall wine fridges in their kitchen and another half-height fridge in their pantry? The show went bonkers with sponsored products this week and some of the zones were worse for it.”
He concluded: “All three judges are wrong about the wall of mirror in Adam and Jolene’s living room. Regardless of whether you can see the view in the mirror from the kitchen, it still transports me to the seventies in the worst way. It feels cheap.”

Hope you’ve cancelled your evening plans for the week because an insider is claiming that things really blow up on The Block 2026.
Nine recently dropped the trailer for the week ahead (catch it below) and it is a DOOZY, teasing huge scraps between several contestants.
Speaking to New Idea, the insider has spilled that Jolene finds herself smack bang in the middle of several bust-ups, including a scrap with Tayla and also Wyatt.
“The pressure of the show caused everything to buckle,” an insider told the mag.
“Jolene says it as she sees it, and after weeks of biting her tongue, she is ready to talk.”
And by the looks of the trailer, the talking (or rather, the shouting) involves rival Tayla.

New Idea claims the ongoing conflict between contestants has created fresh concerns behind the scenes, with producers reportedly worried about bringing everyone back together for auction day.
“There has been so much bad blood that getting the entire cast back into the same room is becoming a genuine worry,” the insider adds.
The source goes on to claim the fractured relationships may not be easily repaired.
“The houses may be close to completion, but some of these relationships could be beyond repair.”
With tensions at an all-time high, the source is claiming that The Block producers have called on a certain ex contestant to help quell the drama.

The insider claims The Block producers have called on 2025 contestant Alicia Aplin to act as a sounding board for Jolene given she has experience with this sort of thing.
“Alicia became a real lifeline for Jolene,” the source revealed, adding that “she understands what it’s like to be an outspoken woman on The Block and how quickly you can be painted as the villain for saying what everyone else is thinking.”
“Like Alicia, Jolene will have it out, clear the air and move on. But that doesn’t make them villains.”

According to the publication, the drama unfolds during one of the busiest weeks of the competition, with contestants juggling their own renovations while also transforming apartments for the Mornington Community Support Centre.
The properties serve as crisis refuge accommodation and are the only emergency housing of their kind on the Mornington Peninsula.

The charity challenge is said to hit particularly close to home for Jolene and Adam. An emotional Jolene reportedly reveals that if House 1 wins any prize money from the challenge, the pair intends to donate the entire amount back to the organisation.
MAFS besties turned rivals Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding have reunited for the first time in two years after the fall-out over their shared podcast.
The pair, who first became close while appearing on MAFS Season 9, reunited on Ella’s The Ella Era podcast. It marks the first time they’ve spoken publicly together since their friendship ended in the wake of the backlash surrounding their 2024 interview with controversial groom Jack Dunkley.
Reflecting on their time apart, Ella admitted losing her best friend left her life feeling “quiet” after years of speaking every day.
Dom echoed the sentiment, saying the absence of someone she’d spoken to from the moment she woke up until she went to sleep was incredibly difficult to navigate.
“When you’re in your 20s and 30s and losing a friend, it’s literally worse than a break-up with a man,” she said.

“People saw this as internet drama, but at the end of the day behind that were two women figuring it out,” she said.

Dom says she suffered a nervous breakdown
Away from the public scrutiny, Dom explained she was also dealing with significant personal challenges, including a painful relationship breakdown and later checking herself into a mental health facility.
“Dealing with that, then dealing with a f**king literal nervous breakdown, the breakdown of our friendship, the breakdown of a career, I actually don’t know how I survived it and got through,” she said.
Becoming mums together was ‘taken away from us’
The pair also reflected on missing out on experiencing pregnancy and early motherhood together. Dom said she mourned the fact that sharing that milestone had been “taken away from us”, after she and Ella welcomed their daughters, Dove and Pia, just three months apart.
Despite the heartbreak, Dom believes everything happened for a reason.
“It’s so sad, but it’s also so beautiful,” Dom said. “If that didn’t happen, I don’t think we’d be where we are, and I think we are right where we need to be.”

Reflecting on their reconciliation, Dom described reconnecting with Ella as “one of the greatest things other than the birth of my daughter”, signalling a new chapter in their friendship after one of the most difficult periods of both their lives.

Sunday night’s episode of The Block 2026 featured a savage body corp that still has people talking.
In case you missed it, the bubbling tension among the groups came to a head when Tayla called a body corp to ask for more time given her father Rick’s injury.
Well, that went down like a led balloon as the only team that agreed to it was Lisa and Rosco (bless their cotton socks).
Jolene wasn’t buying Tayla’s reasoning, suggesting Rick’s injured knee wasn’t the real issue. Speaking to the cameras, she claimed the pair might not be so far behind if Tayla spent more time on site.
“She’s just so bloody entitled, she’s a brat,” Jolene snaps.
In her confessional, Courtney says Tayla’s comments have “pissed me right off” and refuses to give more time, adding: “I just wanted to prove a point, no.”

With the decision being an almost resounding no, the teams get back to work.
Then later at the sharehouse, Sev consoles Rick about his injury.
“I just want to say, I don’t want to come across like I’m not sympathetic towards your injury,” she tells him.
It then cuts to Lisa and Rosco’s confessional where the couple call BS on Sev’s explanation.
“And then we get home, and they’re like,” Rosco says, before Lisa imitates Sev: “‘Oh Rick, I just want to know, how’s your knee? I just want you to know that it came across really harsh and really cold’. While there’s a camera there!”
Lisa adds: “If you care about his knee, you would’ve let him have an extra couple of hours to climb up and down that ladder and do all his painting. If you’re that worried about your kitchen not winning, then you’ve got bigger problems, I’m sorry.”

Speaking exclusively to Chattr, Courtney and Sev denied the idea that they were faking their concern for Rick.
“With Rick being in hospital, Sev and I would message him daily, making sure he was okay,” Courtney said. “I’m sure Lisa was too busy to do that”
She added: “Absolutely, we are sympathetic, empathetic to what Rick went through. He looked like he was in no state to be on his knees painting, doing any sort of physical play, and we knew Tayla couldn’t be on her own either. Our thought process was he is not fit to play this competition in this moment.”

The gals went on to say that they have receipts to prove how caring they’ve been of Rick throughout the process of his injury, but feel they don’t need to “prove it to anyone”.
“It’s really disappointing that Lisa would say that because yeah, it’s just simply so untrue,” Courtney said, adding that: “She would have no visibility over our relationship. We spent so much time with them away from cameras, so for her to sort of go on the record and say something like that, it hurts a little bit.”
“True to Lisa’s form, though,” Sev said.

The ladies went on to refute Lisa’s version of events, accusing her of “flip-flopping” during the body-corp in regards to whether or not they would give Tayla and Rick more time.
“She came to the body corp not knowing what she was going to do, what decision she was going to make,” Courtney claimed.
“She was completely up in the air and flip-flopping. At the start, it was very much like no, I don’t think we’re going to do the extra time.”
Sev then interjected: “And then in the end they fell short and said they needed more time, so we became their scapegoat to just put the blame on us. There was a pile-on with the whole Rick thing.”
Are Courtney and Sev still friends with Lisa and Rosco?
In light of the shade, the ladies admitted their relationship with Lisa and Rosco is somewhat fractured.
“Love Rosco, we think he’s a great bloke,” Sev said.
“We do sort of feel there’s a coldness from Lisa towards us, and that was pretty prevalent throughout the competition. But like, if someone doesn’t like you, that’s on them. If she thinks we’re smug, that’s her prerogative. We we are established, confident, competent women. That some people will convey that as being cocky or smug, again, that’s your prerogative. So it is sort of hurtful to hear that that’s the case.”

She went on to say that they’re in a “post-Block life now” and they just want “everyone to have a successful outcome”.
“I just don’t see any point in throwing words at each other and saying, you know, she’s XYZ because she was someone different in the competition, and she’s someone different now. So that’s my perspective on that,” she said.
Courtney then pointed out that she and Lisa were “never close on the show” and “still aren’t now”, but praised her for not coming between her friendship with Rosco.

The Block 2026 cast have addressed the ongoing criticism over the use of AI in the episodes.
ICYMI: fans of the show have been rather vocal on social media about their dislike for the AI technology peppered throughout the season.
On some of The Block’s clips, fans have pleaded for the show to “cut out the AI slop, no one wants to see it”.

At Nine’s Upfronts (aka the fancy schmancy industry event where networks roll out their upcoming content, including next year’s plan for The Block), Scott Cam, Shelley Craft, Shaynna Blaze and a few contestants were asked for their take on the AI use this year.
“Look, it’s been good. I always have liked the music on The Block. I’ve always thought it was fantastic, and the AI is personalising all of that,” Scott told PEDESTRIAN.TV. “I’d like it a little bit peppered throughout.”
His co-host Shelley Craft agreed that the first ep was a little much as it depicted contestants morphing into animals, telling the publication it “caught [her] a little bit off guard”.

“There was a lot of new stuff in there, but again, all the elements of The Block that we know and love from previous years, we’re just building on that,” she said.
“The editors have just as much fun as we do on set, so that’s awesome.”
As for longtime judge Shaynna Blaze, she admitted that AI isn’t really her thing.
“To tell you the truth, I’m not an AI person, so I like traditional,” she said. “But the thing is, the reason The Block is so good and it keeps coming back is because they try everything. If it was the same rinse, lather, repeat, people would turn off.”
She concluded, “So whether it works or whether it’s not, it makes people talk, keeps them interested, and then we’ll see what they do next year.”
This year’s contestants also weighed in, with Adam and Jolene opining that there are some perks to it, such as children being interested in the show.
“I don’t think maybe that was their aim, but I think it’s working,” Adam said, while Jolene added it “takes the edge off the seriousness”.
“Some of the songs are so catchy,” Sev said. “Each to their own. I think it’s a good integration. It’s just going to keep happening, so get used to it. Buckle up.”
As for Lisa, she believes it “keeps you engaged” but acknowledged that “some people don’t love it”.

The Voice Australia2026 is set for some tough goodbyes, with the competition holding one of the strongest Blind Audition rounds in recent memory.
This season, reigning coach Kate Miller-Heidke is battling Melanie C, Richard Marx and returning coach Ronan Keating, with each allowed just eight artists on their team — making every chair turn even harder to secure.
There have also been major changes to the format. Contestants who fail to turn a chair now leave without meeting or receiving feedback from coaches, while Tones And I has been recruited as a secret fifth coach. Intrigue! Watching backstage, she was able to cheekily rescue selected unsuccessful singers, mentor them and give them a second Blind Audition.
With limited team spots, knockouts and performances ahead, the coaches admit they’ve become more ruthless this season. Eek! This means plenty of talented singers will sadly see their The Voice journey end.

Charlotte June is a 22-year-old singer from South Australia who joined Team Kate. Her stunning rendition of Fred Again and Obongjayar’s ‘adore u’ left the coaches speechless, with Richard praising it as “the best performance we’ve had all season”. She was eliminated in the semi-final.
Leyla Sabo is a 13-year-old singer from Victoria who competed on Team Ronan. She first impressed the coaches with a powerful Blind Audition performance of Sia’s Alive at just 12 years old, before earning a place in the Semi Final with her rendition of Demi Lovato’s ‘Skyscraper’. Despite questions about whether she was too young for the competition, Leyla remained confident, saying music is what she has always wanted to do. Having started performing at around eight years old and releasing her original song Hard To Breathe at 10, Leyla was ultimately eliminated in the Semi Final.
Taylor Beadle-Williams

Taylor Beadle Williams is a 37-year-old singer from New South Wales who competed on Team Kate in The Voice Australia 2026. Music has always been part of Taylor’s life, with her father Mark Williams serving as the lead singer of Dragon and one of the voices behind the original Home and Away theme song. Throughout the competition, Taylor continued to impress, delivering a powerful rendition of Whitney Houston’s ‘I’m Every Woman’ to secure her place in the Semi Final. She was ultimately eliminated in the Semi Final.
Tika Cetinich

Tika Cetinich is a 35-year-old singer from Victoria who competed on Team Richard in The Voice Australia 2026. Having previously auditioned for The X Factor in 2015, Tika returned to the spotlight and put everything into her second chance at a singing competition. Her powerful performance of ‘Heart’s Alone’ earned her a place in the Semi Final, with Richard praising her growth and saying, “You deserve to be standing exactly where you are. You have become a contender for the crown.” Tika was ultimately eliminated in the Semi Final.

For his Blind Audition, Jack performed Bon Jovi’s ‘Wanted Dead or Alive’, turning two chairs before choosing fellow Liverpudlian Melanie C as his coach.
Jamie Koul
Jamie Koul is a 19-year-old singer from Melbourne whose The Voice journey came with a major second chance. His first Blind Audition, performing Nick Jonas’ ‘Jealous’, failed to turn a chair, but secret fifth coach Tones And I saw potential and saved him. After mentoring, Jamie returned with sombr’s ‘Back to Friends’, turning all four chairs. He chose Ronan Keating and progressed through to the Quarter Finals.
Victoria Knight

Victoria Knight is a 21-year-old singer from Pascoe Vale, Victoria, whose musical style brings together two competing worlds: classical opera and goth metal. An opera student at the Melbourne Conservatorium, Victoria grew up embracing heavier music thanks in part to her mum. She showcased both sides of her voice during her Blind Audition with Evanescence’s ‘My Immortal’, earning a spot on Team Kate Miller-Heidke and eventually reaching the Quarter Finals.
Wave Raiders
Wave Raiders are a Sunshine Coast punk surf-rock trio made up of brothers Pete and Tom and their primary-school friend Jayden, aged 15, 14 and 13 during the competition. Bonded by their love of surfing and loud music, the young band took a major gamble by performing their own song, ‘Don’t Wanna Be Late’, for their Blind Audition. Kate Miller-Heidke and Melanie C turned, with the group initially choosing Team Kate.
Cleo Paladino

Cleo Paladino is a 26-year-old doggy daycare worker from Annandale, NSW, who entered The Voice having rarely sung in front of people. She decided to chase her dream following the sudden loss of her father in 2024, one of her greatest supporters. Cleo stepped onto the Blind Audition stage with Christina Aguilera’s ‘The Voice Within’, earning three chair turns before choosing Melanie C as her coach.
Bertie Anderson
Bertie Anderson is a 37-year-old R&B singer-songwriter with Torres Strait Islander heritage who spent around 15 years working FIFO in Western Australia while funding his musical ambitions. He eventually quit mining to pursue music full-time, having also attended a songwriting retreat in Los Angeles. Bertie brought Usher’s ‘Caught Up’ to his Blind Audition, scoring three chair turns before joining Team Kate Miller-Heidke and reaching the Quarter Finals.

For 18-year-old Litia Keni, pursuing music meant going against her father’s hopes that she would become a lawyer. The Canberra singer’s first Blind Audition of Beyoncé’s ‘Listen’ failed to turn a chair, but secret coach Tones and I saw potential and gave her a second chance. Litia returned to perform the song again after working with Tones, this time turning three chairs and ultimately choosing Team Melanie.
Charlotte MacPhail

Charlotte MacPhail may only be 16, but the Central Coast singer has dreamed of becoming a pop star since she was six years old. The trained dancer brought both her singing and performance skills to her Blind Audition with Rihanna’s ‘Where Have You Been’, earning a huge four-chair turn. Melanie C was particularly determined to land Charlotte, using her block against the other coaches and securing the teenager for her team.
Fox Stapleton

Music has been a big part of Fox Stapleton’s life, with the 18-year-old Bondi singer growing up writing songs with his nan. Although she couldn’t be there for his Blind Audition, Fox kept her firmly in mind when he took to The Voice stage. He performed Olivia Dean’s ‘Man I Need’, with the gamble paying off and earning him a place in the competition before he ultimately chose Kate Miller-Heidke as his coach.
Ian ‘Dicko’ Dixon

Ian ‘Dicko’ Dixon got a second shot at The Voice Australia after his first Blind Audition failed to turn any chairs. The 47-year-old Victorian was picked up by secret coach Tones and I, and made the most of his second chance, returning to the stage and securing an impressive four-chair turn. Richard Marx even blocked Ronan Keating in his bid to land Dicko, with the singer ultimately joining Team Richard.
Saem Millward

At just 19, Saem Millward brought some serious old-school charm to The Voice Australia. The student and busker describes himself as a crooner and even performs on the street dressed in a suit. Fittingly, Saem chose Frank Sinatra’s classic ‘New York, New York’ for his Blind Audition, which earned him a spot on Richard Marx’s team.
Cherry Green

For Cherry Green, music became an important outlet after arriving in Australia as a refugee from Rwanda. The 24-year-old Ipswich performer said stepping onto a stage transforms him into a different person, and that confidence was on full display during his Blind Audition. Cherry performed ‘Everybody Needs Somebody to Love’, prompting all four coaches to turn their chairs before he ultimately chose Richard Marx.
Carla Venkataya

Fresh out of high school, 18-year-old Carla Venkataya came to The Voice determined to pursue a career in music. Her first Blind Audition of ABBA’s ‘The Winner Takes It All’ didn’t turn a chair, but Tones and I saw potential and gave her another shot. Carla returned with ‘The Wizard and I’ from Wicked, turning both Kate Miller-Heidke and Melanie C before choosing Team Kate.

Cris J’s The Voice Australia journey nearly ended at his first Blind Audition when none of the four coaches turned for the 25-year-old Queenslander. However, secret coach Tones and I saw something special in him and offered him a second chance. Madeline Beckett

For Madeline Beckett, auditioning for The Voice Australia meant facing a fear that had kept her away from performing for a decade. The 35-year-old Moss Vale singer had struggled with intense performance anxiety, but pushed through her nerves to perform Janis Joplin’s ‘Piece of My Heart’ for her Blind Audition. Her comeback paid off with three chair turns, and Madeline ultimately chose Kate Miller-Heidke as her coach.
Brooklyn Sauer

The Bundaberg teenager survived a shark attack in 2024, suffering around 40 puncture wounds and requiring 230 stitches, with music becoming an important part of her recovery. Brooklyn performed Lady Gaga’s ‘Always Remember Us This Way’ for her Blind Audition, turning Richard Marx and Ronan Keating before Ronan used his block to secure her for his team.
Moniquewa Williams

Professional “hype girl” Moniquewa Williams is used to getting other people moving on the dance floor, but came to The Voice hoping to step into the spotlight herself. The 33-year-old NSW performer took on the Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’ for her first Blind Audition, but failed to turn a chair. Tones and I loved her confidence and gave her a second chance, which eventually saw Moniquewa land a spot on Team Melanie.
Enza Russo

Enza Russo came to The Voice Australia hoping to show her young children that it’s never too late to chase a dream. Before becoming a full-time mum, the 35-year-old NSW singer performed professionally at weddings and aboard cruise ships. Enza returned to the stage with Billie Eilish’s ‘What Was I Made For?’ for her Blind Audition, with the emotional performance earning her a place on Melanie C’s team.
Lachlann Lawton

The 32-year-old West Australian has spent 15 years training in opera and performed Rossini’s ‘Largo al factotum’ from The Barber of Seville without a microphone. The 26-year-old quit her job to pursue music, but her first Blind Audition of Olivia Dean’s ‘The Hardest Part’ failed to turn a chair. Sam performed Alex Warren’s breakout hit ‘Ordinary’ for his Blind Audition, sparking a battle between the coaches before choosing Team Ronan.

The NSW singer was born with a rare heart condition and underwent three open-heart surgeries before he was six, leaving him unable to join in many sports growing up. Findlay channelled that emotion into Lewis Capaldi’s anthemic ‘Survive’ for his Blind Audition, before choosing Ronan Keating as his coach.

Jerikye Williams may only be 23, but his musical tastes belong to another era. The Queanbeyan performer works as an Elvis Presley tribute artist and has described himself as a “50s and 60s kid”. Fittingly, Jerikye brought some old-school rock ’n’ roll to The Voice with Chuck Berry’s ‘Johnny B. Goode’, eventually choosing Ronan Keating over Richard Marx.

Victorian singer Liam O’Neill was one of the younger performers hoping to make his mark on The Voice Australia 2026. The 23-year-old took on The Fray’s emotional 2008 hit ‘You Found Me’ for his Blind Audition, showcasing his voice with one of the band’s biggest songs. His audition secured him a place in the competition, with Liam joining Richard Marx’s team.

Gold Coast musician Benny D Williams brought far more than just his voice to his Blind Audition. The 52-year-old father-of-three used a loop pedal and his live musicianship to build an energetic medley with power songs ‘Proud Mary’, ‘Bust a Move’ and ‘Jump’. The ambitious performance had all four coaches turning their chairs, before Benny ultimately chose to join Richard Marx’s team.

Yarra Valley singer Jessica McPherson-Riley delivered one of the season’s most jaw-dropping Blind Auditions. The 41-year-old performed Wendy Matthews’ ‘The Day You Went Away’ in honour of her late mother, who had encouraged Jessica to keep singing. The emotional performance earned all four chair turns, with Jessica eventually choosing Richard Marx to guide her through the competition.
Edde Masson

Edde Masson came to The Voice with more than a decade of music industry experience, but had stepped away from performing after becoming seriously unwell during pregnancy. The 32-year-old Queensland artist made her return by completely reimagining coach Melanie C’s own hit ‘I Turn To You’, using a looping machine during her Blind Audition. Appropriately, Edde ultimately joined Team Melanie… obviously. However, it wasn’t meant to be for Edde as she was knocked out before the quarter-final.
More details have emerged following the tragic death of Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber.
According to PEOPLE, Presley died at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica, California, on September 20, with authorities now investigating his death as a suspected overdose.
Dispatch recordings obtained by the publication reveal emergency services were called to the facility at 9:35am local time following reports of a cardiac arrest. A separate dispatch reportedly indicated first responders were attending an overdose at the address.

The Santa Monica Police Department later confirmed officers found Presley deceased when they arrived at the rehab facility.
In a statement shared with PEOPLE, police said detectives are treating the death as a suspected overdose.
“At this time, there is no indication of foul play,” the statement read. “The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. The investigation remains ongoing.”
What was Presley Gerber’s cause of death?
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner also confirmed it is still in the early stages of its investigation.
An autopsy was completed on Monday; however, the cause and manner of Presley’s death have been deferred while further testing is carried out.
According to the Medical Examiner, additional studies have been requested before an official determination can be made, though officials have not disclosed what those tests involve. Deferred cases can often take several months to be finalised.
The department also confirmed Presley was pronounced dead at 9:45am on September 20 by responding paramedics.
Family asks for privacy
A representative for the Gerber family told PEOPLE they are requesting privacy as they grieve.

Before his death, Presley had spoken publicly about his struggles with mental health and substance abuse, including discussing his experiences in interviews and on social media.
The investigation into his death remains ongoing, with an official cause of death yet to be determined.

Presley was Cindy and Rande’s only son, with his younger sister Kaia following in their mother’s footsteps as a successful model and actress.
The 27-year-old previously made headlines in 2019 when he was arrested for a DUI. Later that year, he was sentenced to three years probation, ordered to complete a DUI program and required to perform community service.
Kaia Gerber opened up about Presley Gerber’s mental health battle
Before his death, Presley’s struggles with mental health and addiction became something that he and his family spoke about publicly.
Kaia, 24, previously opened up about her brother’s journey, telling Vogue that his battle with drug use and mental health challenges had a profound impact on their family.
“When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,” Kaia said, explaining that she often pushed aside her own needs because she didn’t want to add more pressure.
“I think that’s also why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help. Because it felt like too much to have two children who were needing.”

Kaia said watching Presley become open about his experiences was eye-opening, especially after growing up in a family that valued privacy.
“My parents for most of our lives were very, very private and didn’t share anything — and now we have this absolute teacher, my brother, who says, ‘I’m gonna be very human for everyone’. There’s only so much you can hide from the world.”
She added that trying to hide someone’s struggles could make them feel as though their loved ones were ashamed of them.
“And trying to put a lid on something just makes the person feel like you’re ashamed of them,” she said.
Presley shared his struggles in a candid video
In December, Presley opened up about his mental health struggles in an emotional Instagram video, explaining that he had been taking several medications, including Buprenorphine, Xanax and Valium, to help manage panic attacks.
The model said he had experienced significant loss and wanted to share his story so others facing similar challenges would feel less alone.
“Unfortunately, I’ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently, so that is not an excuse, but it’s the reason why I am where I’m at now,” he said.
Presley explained that he hoped his honesty would help others going through difficult times.
“So you feel like you’re not alone, because that is how I feel most of the time and I have a feeling that if I say all of this, a lot of people will at least know that there’s someone else going through it.”
He also said he hoped sharing his experience would connect him with people who could offer support or guidance.

The Block’s Courtney and Sev felt the “wrath” of Rick
Speaking exclusively to Chattr, Courtney and Sev responded to Lisa’s diss about supposedly only caring for Rick’s injury while cameras were rolling, revealing there were several unaired moments from the episode.

“We did feel the wrath of his feelings post the body corp, and I actually went up to him when there wasn’t cameras, and he gave me a bit of a cold response, and that’s when I knew he was upset with me, and I really wanted to just say to him, ‘We care for your injury. In this moment, we don’t care about the competition, we care for your injury because you’re not going to be here for the end, like those last remaining weeks, if you keep this up’,” she told Chattr.
“But he sort of shut me down, and so I was like, okay, I think I can recognise that he just wants a bit of time and space from us, so we’ll let him have it. But we always knew our friendship would bounce back. Like we built something so beautiful over the last seven weeks that this was just like a momentary thing, and whoever has opinions in that moment of what happened then, that’s their prerogative. But it absolutely was not the case.
“We think highly of Rick and Tayla, and it was never the case that we didn’t care for his injury or weren’t empathetic to the situation.”
Courtney and Sev went on to say that they have “the receipts” to prove they actually did care for Rick, but feel they don’t need to “prove it to anyone”.
Sunday night’s Kitchen reveals on The Block came with a generous side serving of drama, thanks to a fiery exchange between friends-turned-frenemies, Tayla and Brisbane besties Courtney and Sev.
On the episode, Tayla called a body corporate to ask everyone to agree to work two extra hours in order to finish their kitchens, citing that Rick was struggling to keep up with his injury. This request wasn’t warmly received by any of the teams — other than Lisa and Rosco. As Tayla brought up Rick’s injury, Sev said she didn’t like her playing that ‘card’.
Tayla hit back with: “You had Tim come and paint your whole f**king kitchen, so that’s not a fair card either.” ICYMI: Rick filmed a British Paints employee, Tim, painting the women’s wall — a big no-no in The Block’s rulebook.

To this, Sev and Courtney denied any wrongdoing. A clip played showing that the British Paints moment was actually permitted by Scott Cam as the painters were rectifying an earlier mistake, as the women told Chattr previously (read the breakdown here). The women added that Tayla had multiple British Paints employees painting for her the previous week, a claim which was backed up by some sneaky footage obtained. Awkies!
Back at the body corporate, the teams voted against Tayla’s idea to extend the hours in an awkward moment. Sev and Courtney reflected on their war of words with Tayla in an exclusive interview with Chattr.
“She just went in and she started just shooting left, right and center. She laid a couple of guilt trips on us about her dad,” Sev said.
“This is a competition. As much as we love you as a beautiful person, and you are so close to us — call it outside of this Block bubble — but to come at us that aggressively… saying that I’ve got footage of Tim painting, it wasn’t the best delivery of trying to get us on side.”
Courtney admitted that in hindsight, they wish they had agreed to more hours, but they didn’t appreciate Tayla’s approach. “It came across as an attack instead of a conversation,” she told Chattr.
Courtney and Sev reveal how the moment affected their friendship on The Block
Courtney and Sev told Chattr they were shocked by Tayla’s treatment of them on Sunday night since they had considered her and her dad their closest friends on the show.
“Sev and I were really disappointed because Rick and Tayla were our best friends on the show. We had their back time after time again,” Courtney told Chattr. “It really upset us that they were throwing us under the bus when they had two painters in their house painting their room [the week before].”
Sev could understand the miscommunication around the British Paints incident, but was still shocked Tayla came at them so hard. “Part of us tried to sort of forgive her in that instance, but just how reactive they were to that moment really showed us that they were in competition mode and they were sort of willing to put our friendship aside,” she said.
“We’ve helped them a lot. For them to turn on us really hurt deeply.”

Josh Packham, along with his twin brother Luke, is an Aussie reality TV staple, having appeared on Love Island, The Block and now The Traitors. But it was his stint on The Block that appears to have left the biggest impact, as it kicked off an ongoing trend that’s still used on the show today.
Speaking exclusively to Chattr, Josh reflected on the infamous cheating scandal that surrounded him and his twin brother Luke during The Block: Fans vs Faves in 2021, saying they had no idea what they were walking into.
Josh admitted that despite being cast as a ‘Fan’ of the series, he’d never actually watched The Block before being cast on the show and to this day, he still refuses to watch the show.
“To be honest with you, I never watched The Block before I went on it,” he said.
“When I was put on Fans vs Faves, that was fraught… I had to pretend to be a fan, but I’d never watched the show beforehand, and I never have since.”

He said that lack of knowledge explained why the brothers often found themselves in hot water during the early weeks of the competition.
“That’s why when we were doing the wrong things in the early weeks and were seen as the bad boys, like we don’t know the rules, we don’t know how the show works,” he admitted.
Josh also addressed one of the first controversies they faced, when a builder was seen helping the pair paint.
“Even on the first week, where a builder helped us paint, I was like, ‘I didn’t know how to do that’. That’s how little knowledge I had of the show,” he said.
Josh believes The Block has replicated the cheating scandal from his season
Reflecting on the years since his season aired, Josh suggested The Block has needed to keep raising the stakes because audiences now expect the level of drama his team brought back in 2021.
In fact, their cheating scandal — in which they admitted to using a leaked schedule to plan ahead — was one of the first of its kind, but it certainly wasn’t the last.
“I think they need [cheating scandals] now because I think it’s voted by the fans [as] their favourite season of all time, and when you’ve hit that level of drama, same with any sort of big drama type show like Married at First Sight, when something major happens, your next season has to live up to that,” he said.
“They basically have to do that every season now. If not, their ratings would go down.”

Josh also reflected on the number of clashes he had with his fellow contestants during his time on The Block.
“I clashed with almost everyone who was a contestant besides Tanya and Vito at some stage on that season. It was a lot of fiery characters, so made for compelling TV,” he said.

Britt and Taz offer advice to The Block 2026 cast
The pair said the biggest takeaway from The Block was learning to make decisions before tradies were left waiting.
“On The Block, decisions had to be made at lightning speed,” they wrote. “At Hazelwood we’re trying to make as many decisions as possible before tradies are waiting on them.”

Budgeting wisely also made the list, with Britt and Taz saying the show taught them that throwing more money at a room doesn’t necessarily produce a better result.
“The Block taught us very quickly that a big budget doesn’t automatically mean a better room,” they explained.
“We’re prioritising the things that will make the biggest impact at Hazelwood and saving where we can.” Another lesson? Never underestimate lighting.
“It’s one of the easiest things to underestimate,” they wrote, adding that they’re planning lighting alongside each room from the very beginning rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Practicality was another major takeaway, with the couple saying storage should never be overlooked.
“If The Block taught us anything, it’s that beautiful spaces still need to actually work,” they joked.
“At Hazelwood, we’re finding a home for EVERYTHING before we even start building the cabinetry.”
Outside the home, they’ve also learned the importance of landscaping early in the process.
“One of our biggest lessons from The Block. Landscaping affects levels, drainage, access, services and how the whole property connects — which is exactly why Troy is already involved.”
The pair also admitted they’ve completely changed course on some of their renovation plans, saying they’ve realised your first idea isn’t always your best one.
“Hazelwood has changed SO much since our first plans,” they wrote.
“Sometimes sitting with a design, questioning it and changing your mind gives you a much better result.”
Finally, Britt and Taz acknowledged that not everything goes to plan during a renovation.
“If there was one lesson The Block drilled into us, it was this. Plans change, things don’t arrive, mistakes happen and sometimes you just have to find another way.”
“We have a feeling Hazelwood will test this one.”

Fans of The Block have discovered contestant Jolene in an unexpected place — a Stan true crime documentary exploring one of Queensland’s most haunting unsolved cases.
A Reddit user recently pointed out that Jolene appears in Revealed: The Cape, a documentary investigating the mysterious disappearance of fisherman Bevin Simmonds and his 10-year-old son, Brad, who vanished while checking shark nets off Cape York in 2003.
The documentary examines the decades-long search for answers surrounding the father and son’s disappearance, delving into the impact the case has had on their loved ones and the remote community where it unfolded.
Police charged two people over the alleged murders in 2005, however both were acquitted after trial. No one has ever been convicted over Bevin and Brad’s disappearance, which remains an unsolved case.

“He was a very motivated person. He wanted a home for his kids, he wanted to set his kids up. He had three properties and wanted to have something for them,” she says.
“If Bevin was sitting here, there’d be kids [all around him]. They wanted to be in his presence all the time.”

Looking back on the verdict years later, she recalls the overwhelming frustration she felt after those charged with the alleged murders were acquitted.
“I still remember the look on Michael’s face when the verdict was read and he turned around and just had this shocked look on his face. Like, that was it. And that was pretty much it,” she says.
“I remember being so angry and they came over to interview us but they were just so hellbent on Michael’s story, Michael and Joan have been acquitted of murder, but it just means Bevin and Brad were really forgotten in that moment.”

Married At First Sight (MAFS) star Bec Zacharia is opening up about her health and fitness journey, revealing a transformation she says goes far beyond physical appearance.
Sharing a side-by-side comparison on Instagram, Bec reflected on the personal growth she’s experienced, explaining that her journey has been built on consistency, discipline and learning to appreciate herself.
“A lot can change when you finally decide to show up for yourself,” she wrote to her followers.

Bec stressed that her post wasn’t intended to suggest that losing weight makes someone more worthy.
“The post was never about saying smaller suddenly makes someone worthy. It’s simply me acknowledging my own journey,” she explained.
“I’ve worked incredibly hard to get to where I am today and I think we should be allowed to celebrate ourselves and our progress without being ashamed of where we started.
“I’m proud of the woman in both photos but choosing to celebrate myself today and the hard work it’s taken me to invest in myself as I will continue to do so.”

Will the format be different?
Having two Bachelors naturally raises plenty of questions about how the season will play out. Nine has confirmed that the women will choose which Bachelor they wish to pursue, but exactly how dates, rose ceremonies and eliminations will work remains a mystery.
The format isn’t entirely new to Australian audiences, however.
Back in 2023, The Bachelors featured three leading men, with Wesley Senna Cortes, Luke Bateman and Ben Waddell all searching for love at the same time. Nine has confirmed that The Golden Bachelor Australia will return to the network, but an official premiere date has yet to be announced.
With filming now underway, fans can expect more casting announcements, trailers and first-look footage in the coming months as the countdown to Season 2 begins.
Nine has announced an enticing slate of returning reality and unscripted favourites for 2027, led by Married at First Sight (MAFS), which will return for Season 14.
MAFS experts Alessandra Rampolla and John Aiken are back, while relationship expert Marryam Chehelnabi joins the panel next year. MAFS: After The Dinner Party will return on Stan with hosts Jules Lund, Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne all coming back.
The Blockreturns for its 23rd season and is heading to Sunbury, Victoria, where five teams will restore historic heritage buildings at Jacksons Hill, with Scott Cam and Shelley Craft picking up the tools again to host.
In a surprise announcement, a new Stan spin-off, The Block: The House Next Door, will stream next year and feature returning all-stars renovating a sixth property. That’s right, The Block all-stars, baby!

It’s Stan spin-offs all round, as Love Island is getting Love Island Australia: Unseen. Uncut, which will drop daily unseen footage and more unfiltered villa content on Stan.
The Golden Bachelor Australia is officially getting a Season 2, with Samantha Armytage returning as host. This time there will be two Golden Bachelors, while the women will get to decide which man they want to pursue. Love this!
The Floor returns for Season 3 with Rodger Corser and 81 contestants, including Peter Helliar, Kerri Pottharst and Love Island’s Jess Losurdo.
Travel Guides is back, with all the faves returning but joined by newbies Tom and Sarah-Jane, Fletch and Lachie, alongside Olympic swimming sisters Cate and Bronte Campbell.
However, alongside these exciting announcements, there were some shows not included in the 2027 slate, begging the question: have they been axed?
What TV shows won’t return to Nine in 2027?
A number of Nine programs are conspicuously absent from the network’s announced 2027 slate of TV shows.
The Hundred with Andy Lee has been a Channel 9 fixture since 2021, with the comedy panel show asking 100 everyday Australians to weigh in on everything from relationship dilemmas to current affairs. It returned for its ninth season in April 2026, with Sophie Monk and Mike Goldstein among its regular panellists, but there’s no mention of a tenth season in Nine’s 2027 upfront. Oh no!
Of course, this could just mean the series is being rested or paused, but time will tell if the popular panel show returns.
Space Invaders is also missing from the line-up. The decluttering and renovation series launched in 2021 and reached its sixth season in 2026, with Peter Walsh, Cherie Barber and Angie Kent helping families tackle clutter and transform their homes. Earlier this year, it was confirmed the series would be paused.
Regarding the omissions, a Nine spokesperson told Chattr: “These programs are not in the 2027 programming lineup due to our expanded sports coverage next year.”
This suggests these shows could return in the future, but the network has confirmed SHARK! has been cancelled.
SHARK! was one of Nine’s major new reality shows for 2026. The series sent six celebrities to the Bahamas to confront their fear of sharks under the guidance of shark attack survivor Paul de Gelder. Unlike The Hundred and Space Invaders, it has only aired for one season so far — and it looks like it was one and done for the new series. So long!
Australia’s biggest renovation show is getting its biggest makeover yet. The Block has officially unveiled its plans for 2027, confirming the long-running series will return with an ambitious heritage restoration project, alongside a brand-new All Stars spin-off coming to Stan.
After two consecutive seasons focused on new builds, the show’s 23rd season will see five new teams take on the mammoth task of transforming three historic buildings in Sunbury, Victoria.
Located around 40 minutes northwest of Melbourne’s CBD, the Jacksons Hill site is steeped in history.
Originally built more than 170 years ago during the gold rush era, the buildings have served as an industrial school, psychiatric hospital and, most recently, a university campus.
The Victorian Government has sold the trio of heritage-listed buildings to Channel Nine, with contestants tasked with preserving their historic character while turning them into modern family homes.
Scott Cam and Shelley Craft will return to lead the series as the five new teams tackle what has been described as the most ambitious project in The Block’s history.

Nine announces The Block All Stars is coming to Stan
Alongside the flagship series, The Block is expanding onto Stan with a brand-new companion series, The Block: The House Next Door.
Premiering in 2027, the spin-off will see fan-favourite Blockheads return for their sixth renovation, taking on an All Stars challenge “over the fence” from the main competition.
While Nine has confirmed the concept, it is yet to reveal which former contestants will be returning for the special series.
The announcement marks the first time The Block will expand onto Stan with an original format, giving fans even more renovation drama beyond the main competition.

Nine Managing Director Streaming and Broadcast Amanda Laing said 2027 would be a landmark year for the network.
“2027 is shaping up to be an enormous year for Channel 9 and 9Now and builds off the back of our ratings dominance in 2026,” she said.
“Next year we’re excited two of our biggest shows — The Block and Love Island Australia — will extend onto Stan for the first time with never-before-seen formats.”
With an ambitious heritage restoration, a brand-new location and an All Stars spin-off, it looks like The Block is going all out in 2027 and we will most definitely be sat!
