Here’s everything we know about MasterChef Australia 2023

When will MasterChef Australia 2023 air?

The new chefs will don the infamous white apron and enter the kitchen on May 1 — after the finale of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.

Who is in the cast?

While we don’t know who will be cooking for MC domination, we do know that Jamie Oliver will join Zonfrillo, Allen and Leong as a guest judge in the kitchen…on DAY ONE!

“I’m very, very excited to be back in the MasterChef Australia kitchen, and honoured to be kicking off the new season of Secrets & Surprises alongside Jock, Andy and Mel,” Oliver said in a statement released on April 2.

“I want to give the contestants some little nuggets of advice, some techniques and some thoughts most importantly, that might help them to navigate some of the big moments ahead.”

What’s different about this new season?

While in the past, we’ve seen 24 aprons up for grabs, this year, only 18 will make it to the kitchen so for this new crop of passionate amateur cooks, there’s a lot on the line!
