We’re not even through the first week of Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026, but there’s already a vicious feud brewing between Gia Fleur and Bec Zacharia. While Gia told Chattr yesterday that Bec called her a “trashy s**t” during the Hen’s night, Bec has disputed that account.
It’s a bit of a she-said vs she-said situation, but it’s always good to hear both sides.
“If I had said that Gia was a trashy s**t when I had just met her, like, come on. That would have been TV gold. That would be on TV. I don’t think there’d be any reason why production would take that out,” Bec tells us.
“I actually rang production after I [saw Gia’s claims], and I said, guys, I need to know if [there is footage of me saying this], because if [it exists], she deserves an apology from me.”
According to Bec, production assured her that the phrase wasn’t said or caught on camera. “It wasn’t said… I mean, it’s very difficult for me to walk up to Gia and say to her face, you’re a trashy s**t. I mean, that’s not who I am,” Bec claims.
“I think it would be a bit premature to make that assumption [about] someone before even getting to know them.”
What really happened between Gia and Bec at the MAFS Hen’s party?
Bec admits she didn’t have the best vibe from Gia from the moment they met at the Hen’s party, which could be when their feud started.
“I did feel like she walked in with this sort of cockiness about her. And we sort of sat on opposite sides of the room the whole time, and it was just evident that we just weren’t each other’s people,” Bec declares.
“The way that she was sort of not engaging with Rachel, and Rachel was telling her a story, and yeah, it just didn’t align with me and who I am.”
The pair continued to give glares and side-eyed glances throughout the rest of the night, and the rest is history. Wonder what will happen when these two meet later at the first MAFS Dinner Party?
