The Traitors finale will air at 7:30pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 on Channel 10 and 10Play.
Throughout the season, episodes have been available to stream on 10Play from 12pm AEST on the day they air. However, the final two episodes aren’t available for early streaming, so you’ll have to wait til Wednesday night to find out who wins the game.
Who will be in The Traitors finale?
The 22 cast mates have been whittled down to just four for the finale; Krissy Marsh, Keira Maguire, Rhys Nicholson and Kirby are still in the running to win the show. Of course, Kirby and Rhys are the Traitors, while Krissy and Keira are the last two remaining Faithfuls.
Josh Packham and Tully Smyth narrowly missed out on making the finale, with Josh being banished in the semi-final and Tully being ‘murdered’ by the Traitors.
How is the winner of The Traitors Australia 2026 decided?
The endgame of The Traitors is a little more complex than most reality shows. Rather than having one clear-cut winner, multiple contestants can walk away victorious — but only if they’re all on the same team.
To win as a Faithful, contestants must survive until the end and successfully banish every remaining Traitor. Any Faithful players left after all the Traitors have been removed share the accumulated prize money.
However, if even one Traitor remains undetected at the end, the Traitor can claim the prize instead. This means contestants must decide whether to end the game or continue banishing players if they suspect an enemy is still among them. The Traitors must build trust, misdirect suspicion and sometimes sacrifice one of their own to avoid being exposed.
What does the winner of The Traitors get?
Throughout the season, the Traitors and Faithfuls compete in challenges to build up the prize pot, which sits at $152,500 ahead of the finale. The total amount will either be awarded to one person, or split between multiple winners, depending on the outcome of the finale.
