In one of the most exciting episodes of The Traitors 2026, Faithful AJ Antonios proposed an alliance with Traitor Alex Nation, but was sadly ‘murdered’ as a result. Unlike the other eliminated contestants, who’ve done the rounds in the press and spoken their truth on social media, AJ has stayed completely quiet.
And banished Faithful Claudia has revealed that his spicy gameplay is even more of a reason why AJ should ‘come out of hiding’ and talk about his time in Castle Claremont.
“I was very close with AJ, but I don’t know what he’s doing. I think he should come out of hiding because everyone’s so excited to talk to him,” she told Chattr in an exclusive interview.
Claudia added that the contestants saw a very different side to AJ than the strategic mastermind viewers saw on screen, adding that he always went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and felt comfortable. However, when she watched the show back, she questioned which version of AJ was actually real.
“He’s honestly such a great person. But I look at it now and I’m like, was that real? Was that fake? Because he was so good at manipulating people that I’m like, I’m scared to ask him those questions. Like, were you really being a great guy? He was the type of person to put a blanket on you if you were cold, [he was] everyone’s best friend. So I don’t know why he’s hiding. Maybe because it was fake.”
The Love Island star pointed out that AJ was so thoughtful and caring during filming that she and her castmates completely forgot about his Survivor background, which would typically make him a major threat on The Traitors.
“Watching it back, you are like, that was all of our best friend, and you think he’s just so kind and sweet to everyone. He really cares about everyone, but I’m like, was it fake? Was he just playing the game? He’s a Survivor player, and we didn’t even process that.”

What was AJ’s strategic plan that got him sent home on The Traitors?
During Episode 6 of The Traitors 2026, AJ pulled Alex aside and confronted her about knowing she was a Traitor.
“I’ve known you’re a Traitor for a while,” he told her. “Also, I know Kirby’s a Traitor. I don’t trust Kirby. I trust you. She’s scared because she knows the only way I can get through this game is with you.”
AJ proposed that he and Alex work together to recruit Traitors into the turret and eliminate them, before joining forces as Traitors right at the end.
“There’s a strategy, okay…. I think you need me to take down Kirby. How it works is we vote out a Traitor. I tell you who I think we should recruit. Vote that person out. We keep getting these Traitors. It gets to the end. Then you recruit me. Right at the end, when Kirby thinks she has me against you, I turn on Kirby. Then I take out Kirby.”
While it looked as though Alex could be on board with the plan because she voted with AJ that night, successfully banishing Traitor Alvin, she and Kirby decided to ‘murder’ the Survivor player after the Round Table, meaning he was eliminated from the game.
The Traitors 2026 airs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on Channel 10 and 10Play.
