"They stuck to a theme."

One of the biggest events on the Australian reality TV calendar is almost here — The Block auctions — and fans are on the edge of their seats to see which team will come out on top.

Prior to landscaping week, Britt and Taz, along with Robby and Mat, are tied for the most room reveal wins with four each — but will that success translate to auction day?

Britt and Taz believe that there are three houses in the running to take out The Block auctions, which will air on October 26, and their house is one of them.

The WA couple said that while they hope to be crowned the winners, they believe their biggest competition will be House One, renovated by Emma and Ben, and House Five, renovated by Robby and Mat.

“We do love Em and Bens, and the boys,” Britt told Chattr.

“Everyone wanted the pitched roofs, and I think all three of the houses really made the most of having those pitched roofs,” Taz added.

” I think the boys, more so, for their backyard and Em and Ben for their interiors. It’s very consistent — like ours — they stuck to a theme, but the boy’s backyard is beautiful.”

Do Britt and Taz think they can win The Block 2025?

Britt and Taz are undoubtedly one of the front-runners to win The Block 2025, but when asked by Chattr whether they think they can take out the competition, they remained modest.

“It’s so nerve-racking, I don’t know, we hope so,” Britt said. “We just want to set our family up. I feel like we do have a very beautiful home. It’s very on brand with Daylsford, it’s about wellness, and it’s very consistent, but you just don’t know.”

Taz pointed out that just because they’ve taken out several room wins this season doesn’t mean they’ll perform well at auction, based on past seasons.

“We’ve seen time and time again, people who might not have the greatest house do really well. We see the Toms and SJ’s [from The Block 2022] of the world, who won seven of twelve rooms and didn’t make [much] money, so it’s so unpredictable. But, you know, we try to do everything we can to sell this place.

Britt added, “We’re working as hard as we can to try and do that.”

The Block auction will take place on October 25 and air on Channel 9 and 9Now on October 26.
