Channel 7’s new dating show Stranded on Honeymoon Island was a journey — we had had multiple flares pulled, a secret-girlfriend scandal and a late-entry groom.
The show was filmed in October 2023, but Channel Seven shelved it until 2025. So, amongst the chaos, have any of the couples made it after all this time?
Apparently not! A source told Chattr prior to the finale that every single couple has broken up since Stranded on Honeymoon Island was filmed.
“Obviously, none of them are together anymore,” they told us.
The insider also dished on the drama that caused some of the couples to split. So, read on to find out what went down between the couples, and why none of the Stranded on Honeymoon Island couples are still together.
Amy and Haydn

Amy and Haydn are the newest Stranded on Honeymoon Island couple.
Amy’s first partner, Mike, was given the opportunity to pull a flare that would mean he was sent home, and another partner would be sent in for Amy. After realising there was no romantic spark between him and Amy, Mike sacrificed his time on the island, and Haydn was shipped in.
Amy and Haydn hit it off right away and shared an instant spark. But at the final decision, Haydn threw a curveball, admitting he felt like they barely knew each other. Amy confirmed to Chattr that she and Haydn split shortly after leaving Fiji.
“Haydn and I are not together,” she told Chattr. “He left the country to go travelling immediately after filming wrapped.
“We chatted for a few weeks while he was travelling and he was going to change his plans to come visit me in Brisbane on his way home but I told him not to change his plans. For me, I wasn’t feeling it romantically anymore and things just kind of fizzled.”
Prior to the finale, an anonymous source told Chattr that Amy and Haydn’s relationship didn’t last the distance.
“Immediately after the show, Amy just ditched Haydn. They never saw each other after the show,” the source told us.
Verdict: Not together
Georgia and Chad

Out of all of the couples, Georgia and Chad have appeared to have the strongest bond throughout their Stranded on Honeymoon Island journey, and looked the most likely to last the distance.
When it came to the finale, in an emotional scene, Chad explained to Georgia that he was one of his disabled sister’s carers and said she had an “out” if she wanted it. Georgia reassured Chad that she wanted to be with him.
“I do choose you and all that you come with,” she told him.
While Georgia and Chad appeared to get their happy ending, a source told us that they actually broke up shortly after the show finished filming.
“They stayed together for a few weeks after, but… It’s complicated,” the insider said.
Georgia confirmed their break-up in an interview with Chattr.
“Chad and I are not together anymore,” she said. “Three weeks after he told me he loved me at the Commitment Ceremony, he friend-zoned me and dumped me via text message.”
“He ghosted me for four days, then dumped me via a string of text messages. He said to me that he just sees more of a friendship in this, even though three weeks prior, he cried and told me that he loved me at the Commitment Ceremony.”
Verdict: Not together.
Dani and Emanuel

Dani and Emanuel exchanged ‘I love yous’ in the final decision on Stranded on Honeymoon Island, and practically rode off into the sunset together.
However, things didn’t last long on the outside. Dani confirmed in her newsletter Dani Said Yes that she and Emanuel tried things back in Australia, but their relationship didn’t work out.
“After the show wrapped, we all spent a few nights in Sydney shooting some promo content. Then I drove north to pick my dog up, then I was driving up to Noosa as I was spending the summer there,” she said.
“Emanuel flew from Sydney to the Gold Coast where he was living at the time. We left the show ‘together’. I picked him up from the airport and drove him back to his place (car packed for Noosa and dog in tow).
“I spent a night at his place on the Gold Coast then made my way up to Noosa. We stayed in touch, planned to catch up again but it wasn’t until that December (maybe two months later) that we saw each other again when I was on the Gold Coast for my birthday.
“We’d long gone our separate ways by then, but we’re on good terms. There’s no hard feelings from either of us and we still have each other’s back.”
Verdict: Not together.
Amy and Mike

Amy and Mike are no longer together. The pair didn’t get off to a great start, and Amy recently uploaded a video calling Mike “sexist” and revealed he had a past with one of her friends.
“On the Honeymoon, things went from bad to worse. I felt that he spoke down to me, I felt that he belittled me, I felt that he made some misogynistic comments, and that he was a little bit controlling,” Amy said. “It wouldn’t be long until I found out he had a history with one of my friends. Turns out they’d matched on a dating app, and he had made some particularly vulgar comments to her.”
During Episode 5, Mike found out that he wasn’t Amy’s first choice, and she was crushing on the guy with the man bun in a salmon jacket. It turns out that the mystery man, Haydn Slater, is quite keen on Amy and he even told Chattr he could be sliding into her DMs shortly. A spanner in the works!
During Episode 9, the groom was given the choice to pull a flare and leave the island, so that Amy could be given another man to try and find a connection with. It was a tough decision, because he said he was falling for her, but in the end, he wanted to do what was best for Amy.
“I’m not her person, and I’ve had to actually accept that. But I also now have the opportunity to give her what she wanted. That opportunity for love,” Mike said. “As sad as it is to say, I don’t think I’m the person to give her love, I think it’s gonna be someone else. I want her to be happy.”
Amy was then reunited with Haydn, AKA Mr man bun in a salmon jacket, so sparks are already flying between the pair.
The groom recently shared a video with a mystery woman in which they looked like more than just friends… could this be a soft launch? It sure feels that way! We’ll have to keep an eye on his socials closely.

Verdict: Not together.
Emily and Tom

Emily and Tom are no longer together; in fact, Tom is now married to Australian Survivor’s Morgan Mitchell and they recently welcomed twin girls Honey and Maya. Tom hasn’t hidden his relationship status, so he’s basically spoiling the show… but we can’t help but be happy for the cute cross-reality TV show couple. Tom and Morgan announced their engagement in July 2024, and tied the knot in February 2025.
All of the Stranded on Honeymoon Island contestants were given the option to pull a flare during Episode 7, and if they decided to go through with it, both them and their partner would exit the experiment immediately.
Emily was the only participant who launched the flare, and she told Chattr that it was a liberating moment for her.
“It was probably one of the proudest moments I’ve had for myself. It was extremely emotional, but I wasn’t going to keep fighting for someone who’s never going to fight,” she said.
“[Stranded on Honeymoon Island] was one of the biggest emotional rollercoasters of my life, to say the least. I loved it in the sense that it was something I probably would never have done before, and I could — hand on heart — say I’ll never do again,” she laughed.
Verdict: Not together
Brie and Byron

Brie and Byron actually seem like a really sweet couple, and Brie has already cried happy tears over how nice he is. However, things got rocky in Episode 4, after Byron revealed he had never thought about Brie sexually.
Brie and Byron’s final decision was heartbreaking, with Brie committing to the relationship, but Byron deciding to walk away.

Verdict: Not together.
Jess and Sam

At first, Jess and Sam seemed well matched, with this relationship coach ready to finally find her one true love on Stranded On Honeymoon Island. But, as the season progressed, the couple have wound up in multiple arguments, with Jess stressing that she doesn’t feel heard, and Sam getting upset because he doesn’t feel like Jess has his back.
However, the other shoe dropped during the final decision, when both Jess and Sam decided to walk away single.
“You made me feel small, and I can’t tell how much I regret letting that happen. I have absolutely no problem telling a man to do better, that I’m not interested in his lackadaisical efforts or that he fumbled the bag. It pains me to say this but, Sam, you fumbled the bag,” Jess told him. Ooft!
Verdict: Not together.
Stranded On Honeymoon Island airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
