My Kitchen Rules (MKR) 2025 has almost come to the end, and we finally have our grand finalists. Maria and Bailey will be going head-to-head with Justin and Will, but only one team will be able to take away the $100,000 prize.
Throughout the competition so far, each of the teams have been scored by both their fellow competitors, as well as judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge, and those scores determined their place on the MKR leaderboard.
However, during the two semi-finals, Manu and Colin decided who would make it through to the grand final. When the final pair were eliminated from the most recent semi-final, there were tears galore.
So, who has been eliminated from MKR so far? Read on to find out!
Who was eliminated from My Kitchen Rules 2025?
Lol and Lil

Lol and Lil were eliminated from MKR during the second semi-final. For the main, they served up a sous vide lobster, which Colin and Manu said was inconsistent and undercooked. While they redeemed themselves with their berry pannacotta and vanilla creme tart, it wasn’t enough to get them over the line.
Colin and Manu scored Maria and Bailey’s dishes higher, sending them to the grand final and eliminating the girls from the competition.
“To go home then, it’s so sad. We’re so proud of ourselves to get to that point, but also it’s so disappointing to go home with one cook away from winning the title of My Kitchen Rules,” Lil told Chattr in a post-elimination interview.
Danielle and Marko

Best mates Justin and Will clinched the first spot in the MKR Grand Final after knocking out Danielle and Marko in the first semi.
Justin and Will served up a Sri Lankan Tripe Curry with Carrot Sambal and Paratha for the main, and a Chocolate Soufflé with Chocolate Ice Cream and Caramel Whisky Sauce for dessert. Danielle and Marko opted for an Asian-inspired main course of Miso Glazed Salmon with Soba Noodles and a Smashed Cucumber Salad, and a Pandan Meringue with Lemon Curd and Raspberry Sorbet.
It was a close battle between the two teams, but Manu and Colin were ultimately impressed with the technical skills used in both of Justin’s and Will’s dishes, and they were sent through to the grand final.
Mark and Tan

Mark and Tan were eliminated from My Kitchen Rules during the final Ultimate Instant Restaurant.
While they got off to a strong start with their entree of a tuna tartare and pork and prawn dumplings, their main left both the judges and fellow contestants unimpressed because of the fat left on the steak that wasn’t rendered.
Their dessert went even worse, with a thick crust on the chocolate tart and a semi-raw, bitter orange steamed pudding.
Overall, they scored 56 out of 100, which put them at the bottom of the leaderboard, and they were eliminated.
Michael and Rieli

Michael and Rielli were sent home from the competition after cooking in an elimination round against Marko and Danielle.
Both couples earned an average score of 7 from their teammates and from Manu, leaving Colin’s score to decide their fate. In the end, Marko and Danielle edged ahead with an 8 from Colin, while Michael and Rielli received another 7, ending their journey in the competition.
Anne and Maree

Anne and Maree competed against Lol and Lil in the elimination round, losing out to them by just two points.
The two teams were tasked with cooking a main and a dessert. Lol and Lil opted for a classic Sunday roast featuring Roast Chicken, Vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, and gravy and a Profiterole tower. Anne and Maree served up a traditional Greek feast of Lamb shoulder, Lemon potatoes, Dolmades, Greek salad and Tzatziki and Greek Ekmek Kataifi for dessert.
While Manu and Colin loved their main, Manu noted the dessert base was “a little too thick and not crispy”. The mother-daughter duo got a score of 19 out of 30, and Lol and Lil triumphed with 21.
“I never thought I’d get here, to be honest. I’m so proud,” Maree said of their elimination, adding, “We are going to go home with our heads held high. The fact that we even got chosen to do this – we are winners.”
Amy and Lara

Amy and Lara were the second team eliminated from the competition after winding up at the bottom of the MKR leaderboard in round two with a score of 58.
Throughout the competition, they spoke proudly about their cooking skills, and while they did well on their entree, their main meal of surf and turf with an eye fillet, lobster and truffle mash really let them down, receiving a score of 2 and 3 from Manu and Colin.
“This is gobsmacking, we’re shocked,” Amy said upon finding out they were eliminated. “We’re mortified, embarrassed, gutted.”
Mel and Jactinta

Jacinta and Mel were the final team to host their Instant Restaurant on MKR 2025. To stay in the game, all they needed to do was score higher than Lol and Lil’s total of 64 out of 110.
Unfortunately for the feisty cousins, they fell well below that mark, receiving a total of 50 points.
Their entrée of Bang Bang Cauliflower with Spiced Cashew Sauce and Pickled Cucumber was the highlight of the night, with both judges praising the flavour combination.
The main — Braised Beef with Black Rice, Lime and Corn Salad, and Coconut Roti — fared worse. Manu remarked that some pieces of beef were “really dry,” while Colin noted the top was burnt.
Dessert proved to be their weakest course. The Tofu Mocha Mousse with Coffee Liqueur and Coconut Sauce earned just a three from each judge, with Colin criticising its brick-like texture and quipping, “You should not be able to stand a spoon in mousse.”
Their score of 50 sent them to the bottom of the MKR leaderboard, sealing their fate and seeing them eliminated from the competition.
My Kitchen Rules (MKR) airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
