It's getting messy.

Tahnee Cook from Married At First Sight (MAFS) has ruffled some sensitive feathers with comments she made to Chattr yesterday. The Season 10 bride addressed rumours of a MAFS All-Stars show, saying she wouldn’t be keen to join the cast “based on what the men are like”.

Considering Paul Antoine literally punched a wall on MAFS 2025 out of jealousy, she has a point.

However, walking red flag, Harrison Boon, has weighed in on Tahnee’s comments and made some snarky comments. After former groom Steve Burley accused the podcast host of “men-bashing”, Harrison took aim at Tahnee’s age and relationship status.

“Don’t worry mate these ladies are all over 30 and still single since the show. If the men were so bad what does that say about them?” Harrison said. “Lyndall [Grace], Bronte [Schofield], Melinda [Willis], Janelle [Han]. The longer you’re single the funnier [this] gets.”

Tahnee clapped back on her Instagram story, and she tells Chattr she’s not tolerating this type of rhetoric from men like Harrison and Steve.

“It’s so bizarre that I’ve caused this reaction from Steve and Harrison. My comments around not being interested in participating in MAFS again based on what the men are like is more than valid and their reaction to this further proves my point. If they are so offended by my comment, they really need to take a hard look at themselves as to why, because they are part of a wider problem,” she says.

“We’ve seen men on the show with domestic violence allegations and others displaying coercive controlling behaviour — it doesn’t seem that unreasonable for me to feel the way I do. To say I was ‘men bashing’ is laughable and honestly just so out of touch given the current gender-based (domestic) violence we are seeing in Australia at the moment.”

According to the Australian Femicide Watch, 24 Australian women have been killed in 2025 — and we’re only in May.

MAFS’ Tahnee calls out Harrison’s comments about her age

Tahnee also recently celebrated her 30th birthday, and she’s proud of her age, not ashamed of it.

“‘30 and single’ keeps getting thrown at us as if it’s an insult or something we should be deeply ashamed of — and it genuinely isn’t,” she declares.

“Now more than ever, women are able to live successful, fulfilled lives on their own, without needing a man to provide for them — and these men hate us for that. I’m sure I can speak for some of the women in the same position as me, but I’m honestly so content with how I’m currently living my life — happy, unbothered and thriving — than be in a relationship wtih such a miserable, angry, horrible person like [some men].”

Amen! Let’s throw these boring, misogynistic takes in the bin and move on.
