MAFS 2025 Adrian Araouzou dropped agent cast think

The latest Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 scandal to make headlines involved Adrian Araouzou and PR queen Roxy Jacenko. You see, Adrian was briefly signed to Roxy’s talent management company Ministry of Talent, before he was dumped one week later.

While you’d think some of the cast would have a giggle at Adrian’s expense — his ex Awhina Rutene has been brutally sledging him on Instagram — an insider tells Chattr this wasn’t the case.

“People were upset for [Adrian]. The consensus from most of the cast that spoke about this was that it was really unprofessional from the agency’s end, because they knew what they were getting when they signed Adrian,” our source spills.

“Obviously, Adrian has a problematic past and didn’t have the most favourable portrayal in the show, but he still built an online platform, and they chose to sign and promote him.”

The insider adds that some of the cast thought it was “quite humiliating towards Adrian”, and shared that many had “empathy” for the MAFS groom.

Why did Adrian Araouzou get dropped by Roxy Jacenko’s Ministry of Talent?

In a statement to Chattr, Adrian said he was potentially dropped due to the backlash Roxy received after he was signed.

“I can understand [Roxy’s] point of view [if she received] backlash. People hate seeing people do good and unfortunately, a lot of people will do the most to make sure I don’t,” he said.

The backlash Roxy received could have possibly been about Adrian’s past legal issues, where he was acquitted of domestic violence charges against a former partner.

He hasn’t started searching for a new talent agency to represent him and instead wants to focus on his own business.

“Now I have had time to think, I have my own business and want to build my own personal brand just as I was before the show, not just promote every business for a dollar,” he said.

What a PR nightmare! Wonder if this hurts or helps Adrian’s petition to be on MAFS All-Stars?
