Amid the chaos and controversy of Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026, it seems true love has prevailed, with an insider claiming one couple secretly got engaged at Final Vows.
Stella and Filip are clearly one of the strongest couples in the experiment at this point, and it appears their bond only gets stronger, with a source claiming Filip gets down on one knee at the end of the season and proposes to Stella.
“Stella gets engaged at the end, at Final Vows, so they’re going to be the golden couple all season, like Rhi and Jeff from last year,” the insider told Chattr.
Speculation about Stella and Filip’s engagement has also popped up on TikTok after a user posted a video of the two walking hand in hand.
“Guys, it’s Stella and her husband from MAFS, they’re still together, they’re at Cronulla, having a little walky-walk. I can’t think of his name, but slay,” they wrote, and one person responded in the comments section claiming that the couple recently had an engagement party
“They are engaged in real life now and just had their engagement party,” the user wrote.
Stella talks marriage and babies with Filip
In an interview with Chattr, Stella was coy when asked whether she could see herself getting married to Filip.
“We don’t know what the future holds,” she said, adding that “getting married is a beautiful aspiration in life — to have a lifelong partner with whom you build a life together and support each other through everything.”
However, Stella did reveal that she and Filip have talked about what they think their kids would look like.
“We actually ran a ChatGPT simulation,” she told Chattr. “They would get pretty bloody good genes. Filip is tall, dark and handsome, and I’m petite, and you know, strong, little lady. So, I think the kids would have quite good genes, in that sense.”
“I was just saying I would love to have a blue-eyed baby, but I think Philips has dark eyes and dark eye genes are quite strong, so I don’t know if that’s gonna work in my favour.”
Have any couples ever gotten engaged on MAFS before?
No! Over the 12 previous seasons of MAFS, no couple has ever gotten engaged at Final Vows, so if the claims are true and Filip pops the question, the couple will make history.
While no couple have actually gotten engaged on the show, last year got close, when Jacqui and Clint — who weren’t even paired together on the 2025 season — got engaged while watching the reunion.
“You’re amazing, and I know we’ve talked about a lot, a lot about our future and our future plans. We signed up for Married at First Sight to get married, [and] to find a life partner. So I’ve got one question for you,” Clint told Jacqui.
He got down on one knee before pulling out a little ring box. She started screaming and hugging Clint, before nodding yes.
The couple are still together and gearing up to celebrate their wedding this year.
