The cast of Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 has officially been announced, and while we can glean a little bit of information from the photos and social media, a production source has given Chattr some inside information.
According to the insider, the “fakest person” on MAFS 2026 is TikTok influencer and nurse Alissa Fay.
“I can’t give away too many spoilers, but she pretty much has no friends at the end of MAFS. Everybody can’t stand her,” the source claims.
“She was only there for her influencing career, she wasn’t genuine.”
Alissa has over 268,000 followers on TikTok, and is an ambassador for the car brand Southern Chery. She’s matched with David Momoh, who went on the show to find a long-lasting relationship like his parents.
“Alissa’s groom was gutted, because he was there for the right reasons,” the source adds. “Everyone will understand when they watch MAFS, because it was very obvious what she was there for.”
Alissa isn’t the only clout-chasing MAFS participant
Another source recently told Chattr that Scott McCristal was also on MAFS because he was seeking fame, which tracks with the fact that he has already been on reality TV shows Million Dollar Island, Blind Date and Holey Moley.
The production insider suggests that perhaps Scott and Alissa should have had different matches to save the hearts of their blindsided partners.
“Alissa would have been better matched with Scott. They both were there for the wrong reasons,” they claim.
Alissa’s most popular TikTok has over 2.2 million views, and her influencer presence is sure to skyrocket once she’s made her mark on Married At First Sight 2026.
We recently heard whispers that Scott is trying to get on another reality TV show in 2027, so it appears these two are searching for fame, and it looks like they’re going to get it!
