This week’s Married At First Sight (MAFS) Dinner Party is said to be explosive, wild and unlike anything we’ve seen before. According to an inside source, producers were so horrified by what went down, they ended up enforcing strict rules on the cast.
“The MAFS cast were no longer allowed to leave their apartments after 9pm, and they had to ask permission before leaving, even if they just wanted to get a coffee during the day,” the insider tells Chattr.
“Cast were kept separate from each other, and they weren’t even allowed to say hello if they passed another bride or groom in the hallway.”
So, what actually happens during the Dinner Party? According to Gia, there’s major drama surrounding herself, Bec and Alissa.
“It was like Armageddon — so wild,” Gia told TV WEEK. “[Bec] had all this stuff on [Alissa], so we kind of jumped on that bandwagon.”
The bride hinted Bec Zacharia’s husband Danny Hewitt gets “caught in the crossfire”, which leads Chattr to believe it could revolve around Danny telling Gia she’s more his type than Bec.
“Only one person hears Danny telling Gia she’s more his type than Bec, and because it was off-camera, nobody believes Gia when she tries to tell the group,” a source previously told us.
“Danny denies it to keep the peace, but it means Bec and other brides turn on Gia.”
Why does Brook return to the experiment for the Dinner Party?
Brook Crompton leaves the experiment due to Chris Nield’s actions, but she makes a triumphant return during this particularly spicy Dinner Party.
An insider previously told Chattr it was due to producer pressure, rather than Brook wanting to patch things up with Chris.
“The reason she came back for the Dinner Party and the next Commitment Ceremony was due to executive producers being really persuasive,” the source spilled. “They convinced her to come back, not for Chris, but to finish her storyline and put all the drama to bed.”
Grab some wine and popcorn, because this Dinner Party sounds like it will be a doozy.
