MAFS 2026 Brook and Chris dinner party

Married At First Sight (2026) bride Brook Crompton has spoiled the show with her pregnancy announcement, but her journey with groom Chris Nield is not over… yet.

During Intimacy Week, a source tells Chattr the bride abruptly packed up her things and left the experiment, fleeing back home to the Gold Coast.

However, a major spoiler has revealed that Brook will be back for the next Dinner Party, one that is supposed to be explosive.

“Brook rocks up for the next Dinner Party, which was unexpected as she had quit the experiment. There were some major red flags that happened with Chris, and she didn’t feel safe staying with him,” the insider spills.

“The reason she came back for the Dinner Party and the next Commitment Ceremony was due to executive producers being really persuasive,” they add. “They convinced her to come back, not for Chris, but to finish her storyline and put all the drama to bed.”

Another source close to production also says that Brook was a “production puppet”, but it hasn’t worked in her favour. “She did whatever the producers told her to do. She would be pulled aside, asked to create drama, and she followed orders,” the source claims.

“Sadly, the edit has made her out to be a villain when Chris did far, far worse.”

What goes down at the next MAFS Dinner Party?

According to our insider, the next MAFS Dinner Party is hectic and leaves some brides in tears. The drama got so vicious and out of hand that producers were forced to step in and lay down some extreme rules for the rest of the experiment.

“The MAFS cast were no longer allowed to leave their apartments after 9pm, and they had to ask permission before leaving, even if they just wanted to get a coffee during the day,” the insider told Chattr.

“Cast were kept separate from each other, and they weren’t even allowed to say hello if they passed another bride or groom in the hallway.”

According to the source, the MAFS cast were also required to take drug tests for the rest of the experiment.

Sounds like this Dinner Party is going to be one to remember!

Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 airs Sunday – Monday on Channel 9 and 9Now.
