Isabel’s dramatic dumping on Love Island Australia was followed by her storming out of the villa and refusing to do an exit interview. Isabel’s emotions were obviously higher — despite Connor’s decision to leave with her — but she doesn’t regret not taking the time to have one last interview.

As Connor and Isabel were leaving the villa, the episode showed producers stopping them for a goodbye message.

“The exit interview is just kind of your last chance to say your piece,” the producer explained.

However, Isabel responded by saying she’s “not saying anything” and that she just wanted to go.

So, looking back, does the 27-year-old regret not sharing her last thoughts before leaving the villa? Apparently not!

Why didn’t Isabel do an exit interview on Love Island?

Isabel made the choice to decline her exit interview, and in a post-elimination interview on the Love Island Australia podcast, Officially Unpacked, she said she doesn’t regret her choice.

“Because I was very upset,” she explained.

Isabel added that she did an on-camera interview the next day when she was calmer, but she pointed out the high tension in the villa after they left showed how upset everyone was over the couple’s departure.

“I don’t regret it…. But, I think you can see the reaction on everyone when we left — they all know what actually happened in that villa — and they were all so upset. You can see the raw emotion.’

Isabel added that seeing the disappointment from her fellow Islander’s after her elimination made her feel better.

“It was actually really nice watching it back, because I didn’t remember that, like, I forgot everyone’s emotion, because I was like, feeling like I was having an out-of-body experience, and my head was spinning. So to watch, like all of my friends, and the way that they were reacting,” she explained.

“Everyone was angry and upset, and it was beautiful to see how intense my connection was with everyone.”

“And, the talking in the beach hut,” Connor added. “You don’t ever see what they say in the beach hut, what they were saying in the beach hut, was just like, beautiful.”

Love Island Australia 2025 airs Monday – Thursday on 9Now.
