Gabby strutted into the Love Island Australia 2025 villa as the season’s first bombshell — and she’s had instant main character energy ever since.
From blowing the boys away from the moment she entered, to winning the girls over with her sweet personality, Gabby has well and truly made her mark on Love Island Australia.

Gabby was an established influencer before going on Love Island Australia
Gabby — real name Gabrielle McCarthy — had a successful career as an influencer before heading into the villa, boasting almost 100,000 followers on Instagram and 140,000 on TikTok.
The 21-year-old often shares snaps from her adventures around the world and recently opened up about how much travel means to her.
“Travelling is so important to me because it takes you out of your comfort zone, opens your eyes up, inspires you, educates you, forces you to try new things and makes you appreciate every single aspect of life,” she wrote on Instagram.
Where is Gabby from?
Gabby grew up in Mackay in regional Queensland before moving to the Gold Coast, where she’s now based.
Who is Gabby coupled up with on Love Island Australia?
Gabby entered the Love Island Australia villa as a bombshell, once all of the other Islanders were coupled up.
However, she had her sights set on Jotham, who was paired up with Lacey. While Jotham had an initial attraction to Gabby, he decided to continue to pursue things with Lacey, before switching up and coming back to Gabby.
At the first firepit recoupling ceremony, Gabby had the first pick of who she wanted to couple up with, and she chose Jotham.
The couple are currently coupled up in the villa, but this is Love Island Australia — so anything can happen.
