Love Island Australia‘s Isabel Vella and Connor Deighton coupled up on the first day in the villa, and quickly appeared to be the show’s golden couple.
While some of the other singles demonstrated their lack of commitment by switching partners like musical chairs, Isabel and Connor only really had eyes only for each other.
However, the budding couple was dumped from the villa during a shock firepit ceremony on the November 24 episode. While it was Isabel who was eliminated, in a Love Island Australia first, Connor decided to leave the show alongside his partner, despite not being voted out.
Connor’s act paid off, as the pair are still together today and recently moved in together. These two are so in love, and we’re obsessed with them!
Are Love Island Australia’s Isabel and Connor still together?
Yes! The pair are now living together on the Gold Coast and spent Christmas with their families, while also showing off their relationship on social media.
“We love sharing our lives post-villa with you all! We’ve taken so many big steps, overcoming the biggest challenge of living interstate. The emotional rollercoaster of long distance is over,” Isabel wrote on Instagram. “We are so excited to not be separated anymore. Gold Coast, you have my heart. Can’t wait for this new chapter.”
In a round-up post looking back at 2025, Isabel also wrote a sweet paragraph about her “Connie baby”. These two are certainly head-over-heels for one another. “My Connie baby, you changed my life, taught me how to be loved, with patience, kindness, tenderness and compassion. I am in awe of you, and cannot wait to see where this life takes us. I finally know what they mean when they say ‘when you know you know’. So grateful for the changes in my life,” she wrote.
Connor also captioned a photo with Isabel as a “once in a lifetime love”, so he’s just as smitten. Awww. Could a proposal be coming soon?
When did Love Island Australia’s Isabel and Connor confirm their relationship?
They are! Isabel and Connor revealed in a post-elimination interview on the Love Island Australia podcast, Officially Unpacked, that they are moving in together, with Isabel relocating to the Gold Coast.
“This one’s going, she’s coming up to Goldie,” Connor told host Eoghan McDermott.
Isabel explained that she and Connor went travelling around Spain for two weeks after leaving the villa, before making the commitment to move.
“When we came out of the show together, we travelled around together, which was absolutely crazy,” she said. “Then I decided to move up to the Gold Coast. So we have our own place on the Broadwater. It’s beautiful. So I just saw it yesterday, so it was really nice.”

Conor and Isabel made their first public appearance together at the TikTok awards, where they shared that they are happily in love.
“All loved up,” Connor told a reporter from Stan, joking that they’d signed a contract so they’ll be together for “at least twelve months.”
Izzy said she had an “out of body experience” during her Love Island dumping, with Connor adding that she “blacked out a bit” and doesn’t remember much.
“Going down [to the fire pit], there’s always a chance that one of you is going to go home, so I was already set in my ways, as you could probably tell that I was gone if Izzy went, and I’m pretty sure she was the same,” he said.

While Love Island couples are not allowed to be seen together while the season is airing to avoid spoilers, it seems Isabel and Connor may have slipped up.

Though Connor and Isabel are a relatively new couple, they already have shippers in the comments section of the lunch video.
“Alright, guys, this is good news. Make sure we vote for them to win, aight everyone?” one person wrote, while another added, “This is a good sign, I’d say!”
