Has the I'm A Celebrity Australia 2026 winner already leaked?

"Production gets the flexibility of a pre-recorded season."

There’s a big change coming to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia 2026, with the show being pre-recorded for the very first time. According to New Idea, filming wrapped up on December 23 in South Africa, meaning the final episode has already been filmed.

So, has the winner been leaked? Not exactly. While the show is pre-recorded, the insider claims Australia will still get to vote for their favourite contestant. The publication understands that Channel 10 filmed three separate endings, with the finalists still unsure of the result.

“The final three will leave South Africa not knowing who’s won,” the source claimed. “Australia will still get to vote, and whichever ending matches the public’s choice is the one that goes to air.”

This isn’t dissimilar to other shows Channel 10 has aired in the past, with MasterChef Australia judge Andy Allen previously telling TV Tonight the show films “multiple endings”.

“It’s the only way to get a true winner,” he said. “You can try and contain the 200 people, I suppose, with friends, family, crew, if you wanted to gamble it. But I think there is so much on the line with this show, the last thing anyone wants is for a production that goes for six months, airs for three months [to be spoiled]. It’s the only real way to keep it under our hats.”

The I’m A Celeb insider added that this new format is “clever”, saying there’s still plenty on the line. “The cast still feels the pressure, the audience still gets their vote, and production gets the flexibility of a pre-recorded season.

“They’ll have to sit on it for weeks. No spoilers, no slip-ups. The winner won’t know until Australia decides.”
