I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2026 was pre-recorded at the end of last year, so fans are unable to choose who leaves the jungle. The first elimination is about to take place, with Rachel Hunter and Matt Zukowski at risk of going home.
The campmates were split into two teams, yellow and green. Each team were able to nominate one person from the other team to be nominated for elimination, with Cyrell Paule from the green team announcing they had picked Rachel.
“I’m just very cut, and to me, this really showed that the game has changed. Everyone’s out for survival in this right now,” Rachel said.
Gary Sweet from the yellow team then revealed they had picked Matt.
“My heart sunk, it wasn’t the best feeling,” Matt said. “I will fight with every breath and smash out whatever’s put in front of me.”
Rachel and Matt will now face a tough elimination challenge at the Elephant Graveyard during the next episode, but fans have their heart set on keeping one campmate in the jungle.
“No offence to Matt, I think he’s a nice guy, but I personally will be a little devastated if Rachel leaves,” one fan wrote.
“Nothing against Matt, but don’t want Rachel to go either! So much missing from this season, which gave the show a bit of soul,” another said.
“Yes, I think Rachel provides the calm and wise influence that a lot of them need beside them, at least for a little while longer,” a third chimed in.
“Yes, not a good way to be eliminated. Not fair. It’s like Big Brother. People will get strategic, they picked Rachel as they know she could win. Not nice,” another remarked.
Matt Zukowski reflects on his time on I’m A Celeb
While we don’t know who has left the I’m A Celeb jungle yet, Matt has posted a clip from the show along with a caption reflecting on his time at camp.
Could this be a clue that he’s going home?
“I came into the South African jungle and met 12 strangers. If I leave, I’m leaving with friendships and bonds that will last a lifetime. Forever grateful for my jungle family,” he wrote.
