When Farmer Jarrad was announced as one of the Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) 2026 leads, fans flocked to his social media pages to celebrate the news, and no doubt flooded casting with applications in the hope of winning the farmer’s heart.
With his rugged good looks and wealth of life experience — having been married before and raising two sons — Jarrad seemed like the complete package. His remaining Ladies, Brodie, Yvonne, Carly and intruder Christina, certainly seem to think so.
But who will Farmer Jarrad pick as his FWAW winner? Read on to find out everything we know.
Is Farmer Jarrad dating eliminated contestant Kyiah?
Unlike some of the other FWAW Farmers, who have very clear front runners, it’s not obvious which lady Farmer Jarrad will pick as his winner just yet.
Farmer Jarrad started the season with seven Ladies and has since narrowed the field to four. However, reports have emerged that he may not have ended up with any of his finalists. Instead, rumours suggest he’s struck up a romance with Kyiah, who he eliminated in the very first episode.
An insider told New Idea that Kyiah and Jarrad reconnected after the season finished filming late last year.
“Jarrad and Kyiah are talking again, and there’s definitely a connection there,” the source said. “There’s a lot of unfinished business.”
“Sometimes the best love stories aren’t the loudest ones,” they added. “People around Farmer Jarrad are starting to wonder whether producers let a really good opportunity slip away.”
Does Jarrad leave Farmer Wants a Wife single?
With Farmer Jarrad’s ending on FWAW kept so tightly under wraps, there aren’t many spoilers floating around about who he picks. However, this could be because he doesn’t pick any of his Ladies and leaves the show single.
There have been a few hints that align with this theory. Ahead of the FWAW 2026 premiere, Jarrad told Chattr that he was “terrified” of the season airing.
“I’m packing it. I said last night, we were out for dinner, and I said to the boys, like, what, why did I go on this show? I mean, I know why I went on it, but I was like, this part of it is scary now, it’s fine up until now, but now actually watching it is terrifying to me,” he said. “This side of it, I’m definitely, a little bit scared to watch it now.”
If he walked away with his perfect match, wouldn’t he be excited to relive the journey? Being “terrified” doesn’t exactly scream happily ever after.
On top of that, he scoffed at the idea of getting engaged on FWAW — despite the fact that plenty of past couples have done exactly that.
“Did any of us get engaged, or could we see ourselves getting engaged in the question? Yeah, next question,” he told us.
Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) airs on Sundays at 7pm and Mondays at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
