Big Brother Australia’s first evictee Michael has gone rogue and shared his thoughts on housemate Holly. The 31-year-old model is currently having a fling with 21-year-old Colin in the house, but Michael tells Chattr he believes it’s all calculated.
“She’s in there completely playing the game to get social media followers,” Michael claims. “I wouldn’t say she’s a fake person, but she’s the most fake in the house. She’s the one who’s… not being authentic.”
The Big Brother Australia contestant says her “showmance” or “fauxmance” with Colin isn’t real, and dubs it “completely and utterly fake”.
“Holly even told me [that] ‘When we’re out of here, yeah, it’s going to be more of a mentor thing. You know, I can mentor Colin’,” Michael reveals. “She chose Colin because he’s the easiest to target. I guess he’s fallen the hardest.”
Michael doesn’t think that Bruce, Edward or Vincent would have fallen for Holly’s strategy, but Colin ate it up.
“[Colin] thinks this is real. I feel really sorry for him, and I said so on my way out. So I’m sure he’s seen that [and] hopefully had a bit of a reality check,” he adds.

Colin confronts Holly for not getting his name right
On his way out of the house, Michael shared a video where he called out Holly for faking her feelings for Colin. It appears to have made a bit of a splash, with Colin crying to Big Brother in the diary room after confronting Holly.
“My gut tells me that something’s just off because there’s so many people that have said the exact same thing,” Colin told Holly in the house.
“The way you never get my name right, the way that 90 per cent of the time we’re talking about you and not me, the way that I say that we don’t ever get anywhere into my personal story, it’s because of me… Learning my name would be a real cool first step.”
Holly has called him “Conor” multiple times, which is a little bit embarrassing.
Fans have flooded the Big Brother Australia comment sections in support of Colin, with one saying Holly is “using him”.
“Nahhh this is wrong, justice for Colin,” another added.
“She’s playing a game and a dangerous one that will only get him hurt, she doesn’t like him, she wants more screen time end of,” a third chimed in.
“Honestly feel it would’ve been worse for him if Holly was evicted as he would’ve been too blinded, didn’t take long for him to wake up though,” another wrote.
Big Brother Australia 2025 airs Monday to Friday at 7.30pm, and Sundays at 7pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
