Big Brother Australia’s Coco Beeby has been called out after she indulged in a steamy kissing session with Bruce Dunne in the pool on Tuesday night. The 30-year-old single mum of three previously sat Holly Young down and asked her to stop flaunting her relationship with Colin Ridley around the house, specifically regarding their PDA sessions.

“I’ve got three kids at home, my three kids don’t want to see you macking on every episode too, you know what I mean? Maybe chill out on the macking on, just ’cause you know, there [are] children at home watching the show, my children especially because their mum’s on it,” Coco told Holly and Colin.

“People are uncomfortable with the PDA,” Bruce agreed.

Coco also told Big Brother that it was frustrating to watch Holly and Colin keep kissing, and posed the question: “Can’t they just wait until they get out of the house?”

Well, it turns out that Coco and Bruce couldn’t wait five days until the Big Brother Australia finale, because they got close and personal in the pool. To be fair, the other housemates weren’t around, so it wasn’t PDA like Colin and Holly. However, many fans weren’t pleased by Coco’s behaviour.

On a reel Chattr posted of Coco and Bruce’s first kiss, one person wrote: “She forgot her kids are watching. Made a big deal with Holly. The plot thickens as they say.”

“But the kids are watching right, well that’s what she told Holly. Guess it’s okay for her, just not Holly. We see you Coco, sad,” another chimed in.

Big Brother has had people have sex on there before. No one said anything. These housemates ganged up on Holly and Colin because they were being creepy,” a third said.

“She’s forgetting she has kids and had a problem with Holly ‘macking on’. This is ridiculous, I really liked Coco until I [saw] her being a hypocrite,” another remarked.

Big Brother fans defend Coco and Bruce

However, there were some viewers who said Coco and Bruce’s romantic entanglement was different from Holly, who would sometimes climb on top of Colin while other housemates were around.

“Her kids are watching but Holly and Colin were all over each other 24/7 in all different positions… imagine not being able to kiss someone you have feelings for, I think they [did] well to last that long,” a fan pointed out.

“Holly did it 24/7 in front of everyone and including sexual positions! Coco and Bruce are alone and it was one kiss! Geez people… how boring do you want the show to be?” a second asked.

“So many jealous people in the comments. It’s nothing that Coco should ever feel bad about because the kiss was planned for a very, very long time,” another remarked.

Holly responds to the housemate’s PDA intervention

In in an interview with Chattr, Holly previously said that the housemates were “making a mountain out of a molehill” and described them as “Karens”.

“There was just nothing else to talk about. Nobody else clicked like how Colin and I clicked… it was very eye-opening,” Holly said. “We understand that no one’s perfect, and we try to do the opposite of what everybody else was doing to us.”

We’ve reached out to Holly to see if she has any additional comments to add now that Coco has been spotted “macking” on Bruce, so watch this space.

Big Brother Australia 2025 airs Monday to Friday at 7.30pm, and Sundays at 7pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
