There's apparently one empty bed!

Big Brother Australia’s usual Monday nominations took a dramatic turn this week when it was announced that one of the housemates would be eliminated in a snap 1:05am eviction. And, in yet another twist, the housemates were completely unaware that an eviction was looming just hours away.

It was Vinnie, Coco, Alanna and Emily who were nominated by their fellow housemates. However, as Head of Housemates, Colin had the power to save one of them, and he chose Alanna.

As viewers are aware, Big Brother Australia 2025 offers a live stream, prompting many fans to stay up late in anticipation of watching the eviction unfold on the feed. But, they were left disappointed as the live stream cut out, and Big Brother announced shortly after that someone had left the house.

While the network hasn’t confirmed who was evicted yet, and has done their best to make the answer unclear on the live stream by cutting to the housemates who weren’t nominated, many Redditors believe that they’ve figured out who has left.

“We’ve heard Em and Coco, no Vinnie and his bed is empty apart from the hugsy teddy unless he’s asleep outside or something, he’s been evicted for sure,” one user wrote.

“It’s Vinnie who is gone; we saw his empty bed last night,” a second penned.

Some other users confirmed that they’ve seen Emily and Coco on the live stream this morning, suggesting that Vinnie has left.

“I heard Em’s hiccups and Coco’s sniffs (she sniffs a lot) last night. And Coco is there today, too. She was talking about making beds,” they pointed out. “Poor Vinnie. Middle-of-the-night evictions are cruel.”

Who nominated Vinnie for eviction?

Vinnie received the highest amount of nominations this week at 16 votes, with Colin, Emily, Alanna, Coco and Ed all throwing points his way.

Ed’s power played a big part in Vinnie’s high vote count. After opening a box that granted him a special advantage, Ed was given ten nomination points, double the usual five each housemate receives. However, he only discovered that his noms were broadcast to the entire house after he gave Vinnie seven and three to Coco.

However, even without Ed’s extra votes, Vinnie still would have been up for nomination.

Big Brother Australia 2025 airs Monday to Friday at 7.30pm, and Sundays at 7pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
