Big Brother Australia’s Holly Young is one of this year’s most polarising housemates, and her romance with Colin Ridley has raised eyebrows. The 31-year-old model comes from Western Australia and describes herself as a “unicorn”.
The influencer has 103,000 followers on Instagram, including celebrity followers such as Jackie O, MAFS’ Jessika Power and Australian Survivor’s Liz Parnov.
While she was nominated for eviction in her first week, she was given the title Head of House by the first evictee, Michael, meaning she was safe for her second week. She’s currently at risk of being evicted during the third live eviction, going up against Conor, Bruce, and Vinnie.
Below, here’s everything we know about Big Brother Australia housemate Holly Young.
Holly Young’s feud with MAFS star Carina Mirabile
Holly was previously friends with MAFS star Carina Mirabile, with the former bride calling Holly her “best friend” in old TikTok videos. However, it was recently reported that the pair ended their friendship after living together.
According to the source, Holly moved out abruptly after having an argument with Carina, which “f**ked Carina over hard”.
Holly Young’s dating history
Holly previously dated Luxe Listings Sydney star Gavin Rubinstein, with the pair sharing photos together on social media back in 2024. Before this, she was linked to a Manchester United football player in 2019 and Usain Bolt in 2017.

Holly Young reveals breast augmentation surgery
The influencer underwent breast augmentation surgery when she was 23, with plastic surgeon Dr Kourosh Tavakoli in Sydney. “One of my breasts was a little lopsided, so they weren’t quite symmetrical, so it’s something I’ve had on my mind for a little while,” she said in a testimonial video.
“I was a little bit lost in regards to getting it done, and then I just made a decision one day to get it fixed, and I’m so glad I did.”
What have the Big Brother contestants said about Holly?
Former housemate Michael clashed with Holly, and while he called her the “most fake in the house”, he said she was “great” and would hang out with her outside of Big Brother Australia. However, she is playing very strategically.
“She’s the one [who is] playing the game and not being authentic,” he told Chattr.
Jane also added that Holly is at risk of eviction, as the Australian public hasn’t fallen for her schtick. “She’ll go. I think she will be [next]. I think she’ll have a high amount of votes,” she told us.
Big Brother Australia 2025 airs Monday to Friday at 7.30pm, and Sundays at 7pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
