Big Brother Australia 2025’s Coco Beeby not only walked away with the winner’s title and $135,000 richer, but she also left the house with a budding romance with Bruce Dunne.

So, what’s next for the new couple? While host Mel Tracina pressed Bruce’s parents about whether there’d be a “chair” at the Christmas table for Coco, the Big Brother winner said she wants to focus on spending time with her three kids, and will catch up with Bruce after the festive holiday.

“I’m just gonna go home and lap up the next three weeks with my kids, with Chrissy and then, yeah, I’ve got a bit of time after Christmas that hopefully we’ll be able to catch up, have a surf, have a coffee, and get to catch up without the cameras beaming down on us,” she told Chattr.

Coco added that she only got to see Bruce for a brief moment after she won Big Brother, before she was whisked away to a hotel for winner’s duties.

“I saw him briefly after the show, but we haven’t actually got a chance to catch up either, so that’ll be nice to catch up with him when we eventually can.”

However, Bruce clearly stayed busy post-finale, with Holly sharing a video of her in the front seat of his car as she, Bruce and Colin drove off after the show wrapped.

When asked about her future with Bruce, Coco stayed coy but said she was looking forward to seeing how things go in the real world.

“I’m not thinking too far ahead. I’m just looking forward to getting to know him a bit more. And… without the cameras and the mics on us.”

Coco on Bruce’s growth in the Big Brother house

Bruce entered the Big Brother house with strong opinions, but when Coco called him out for the abrasive way he handled the Grand BB Hotel task — scoffing down the guests’ food with Holly and snapping at housemates — he did some self-reflection.

At the finale, he told Big Brother that the Bruce that walked into the house wouldn’t recognise the man he’s turned into during the show, because of his tremendous personal growth.

Reflecting on how much Bruce changed from the start of Big Brother, Coco said that she believes the softer side of Bruce is actually his true self.

“I think that was actually him, truly being himself,” she said. “I think he was caught up. It’s an emotional roller coaster [being on Big Brother], and everything is magnified, and tensions are high, and, like most, combust. So I think what we saw towards the end of the show with Bruce was him being his true, authentic self, and I think that’s what made me fall for him.”
