Karl Stefanovic’s podcast is making a return after weeks off the air, with the former Today host teasing a new interview featuring LMCT+ founder Adrian Portelli, who rose to fame after his appearances on The Block.
The official social media account for The Karl Stefanovic Show announced on Wednesday that the billionaire businessman, better known to many as “Lambo Guy”, will appear on the podcast at 5pm AEST.
“It’s the one you’ve all been asking for. Adrian Portelli AKA ‘Lambo Guy’,” the post read.
“From sleeping in cars in LA to building LMCT+ and becoming one of Australia’s most recognisable young entrepreneurs. His battle with the establishment, his move to Dubai and why he no longer trusts the government.”

The teaser gives us a glimpse of the spicy conversation between the pair in which Adrian reveals what he’s been up to.
“Oh, if I tell you what’s been happening. Oh, just everyone coming for me. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say it, but I don’t give a f**k,” he said, to which Karl assured him: “You’re allowed to say it.”
In the following snippet from the convo, Adrian says: “This is recent, they’ve abused their power. It’s scary what they can do. They’ve really come down on me. Once you start making a bit of noise, the system comes down on you.”
He then reveals that he’s moved to Dubai permanently, much to Karl’s surprise.
“Honestly man, I’m just packing up and moving. I’ve set up base over in Dubai, believe it or not,” he shared.
Adrian Portelli rose to prominence through his LMCT+ promotions business and became a familiar face to TV audiences, thanks to his involvement with The Block. The upcoming interview is expected to dive into his business success, relocation to Dubai and his views on government.
Earlier this year, Portelli was found not guilty of nine charges relating to assisting in the conduct of unlawful lotteries in South Australia. However, his company, Xclusive Tech, which operates as LMCT+, was convicted on 10 counts of conducting unlawful lotteries and fined $40,000.
Karl Stefanovic goes to war with podcast partner
The teaser arrives just one day after fresh details emerged in the NSW Supreme Court regarding a dispute between Stefanovic and his business partner, Keshnee Ibrahim.
According to reports from The Daily Telegraph, the teaser reportedly surprised members of Stefanovic’s own team after the podcast had been inactive for three weeks.
During Tuesday’s court hearing, it was revealed that Stefanovic and Ibrahim — who each own a 45 per cent stake in the company behind the podcast, 123 Podcast — had suffered what was described as an “irreconcilable breakdown” in their relationship.
Ibrahim launched urgent legal action over concerns she would be removed as a company director, while Stefanovic has denied allegations that he engaged in oppressive conduct. The court also heard that he has agreed to purchase Ibrahim’s share of the business, with the company’s value still to be determined.
The podcast has not released a new episode since August 24, following the fallout from Stefanovic’s interview with British far-right activist Tommy Robinson.
That episode was removed less than 12 hours after it was published and came shortly before Stefanovic’s departure from Nine, ending his 25-year career with the network.
