“People were upset for [Adrian]. The consensus from most of the cast that spoke about this was that it was really unprofessional from the agency’s end, because they knew what they were getting when they signed Adrian,” our source spills.
“Obviously, Adrian has a problematic past and didn’t have the most favourable portrayal in the show, but he still built an online platform, and they chose to sign and promote him.”
The insider adds that some of the cast thought it was “quite humiliating towards Adrian”, and shared that many had “empathy” for the MAFS groom.
Eliot and Adrian post MAFS. Image: Instagram
Why did Adrian Araouzou get dropped by Roxy Jacenko’s Ministry of Talent?
In a statement to Chattr, Adrian said he was potentially dropped due to the backlash Roxy received after he was signed.
“I can understand [Roxy’s] point of view [if she received] backlash. People hate seeing people do good and unfortunately, a lot of people will do the most to make sure I don’t,” he said.
The backlash Roxy received could have possibly been about Adrian’s past legal issues, where he was acquitted of domestic violence charges against a former partner.
He hasn’t started searching for a new talent agency to represent him and instead wants to focus on his own business.
“Now I have had time to think, I have my own business and want to build my own personal brand just as I was before the show, not just promote every business for a dollar,” he said.
What a PR nightmare! Wonder if this hurts or helps Adrian’s petition to be on MAFS All-Stars?
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is a cinematic love letter from Tom Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie.
After the first three entries of the franchise provided mixed results critically (with Rotten Tomatoes results in chronological order of – 66%, 57%, and 71%). One of the hallmarks of this initial cluster of films was the vastly different styles implemented by the three different directors contracted for each film.
Brian De Palma’s original (1996) emphasised espionage and suspense, John Woo‘s sequel (2000) focused on stylised action and melodrama, and finally J.J. Abrams’ (2006) focused on character depth and emotional stakes.
Brad Bird’s 2011 entry, Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol, served as a soft reboot for the series. Birds film seemed to focus and streamline the series in a way that had eluded it in the past.
This included an enhanced cinematic approach that ranged from its inventive set pieces (such as the Burj Khalifa sequence), to its music scoring and cinematography that laid the stylistic foundation that Christopher McQuarrie would build on with the next four films (Rouge Nation, Fallout, Dead Reckoning, The Final Reckoning).

Another key piece of Bird’s film that was pivotal for the franchise was returning the narrative to its original roots (the 1966 TV series, Mission: Impossible), by focusing on team-centric missions.
While Ghost Protocol was a major success both critically (93% on Rotten Tomatoes) and financially (second highest profit margin in the series), this new film apparatus established by Bird set the franchise up for even greater heights.
It is rare for a movie franchise to get better from its fourth film onwards, which is evident in the breakdown below of Rotten Tomatoes scores:
Mission: Impossible (1996) – 66% Mission: Impossible II (2000) – 57% Mission: Impossible III (2006) – 71% Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011) – 93% Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) – 94% Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) – 97% Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) – 96% Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (2025) – TBD
Since the soft reboot, the series has also had some of its strongest financial performances. The table below shows that many of the films’ strongest profit margins were produced with the most recent films (besides the original entry, which performed phenomenally from a profit margin point of view).
Please note that these numbers do not factor in marketing budgets which are also significant. For example the marketing budget for Fallout was expected to be around $140 million, which is approximately 78% of the films budget.
Although the thing that may stand out the most from the above table is the profit margin for the franchise’s most recent film, Dead Reckoning. Despite a strong total gross of $571 million, it has a profit margin of 96.22% (less when considering the significant marketing budget that would have been assigned). This is due to its large production budget of $291 million.
And with the budget for The Final Reckoning believed to be around $400 million, this is why we referred to this film as a cinematic love letter. The franchise, at its core, has always served as a tribute to high-budget action films and classic espionage films all at once, but this most recent film is a culmination of that.

While Tom has done very well for himself financially (He has generally been compensated approximately $70 million – $100 million per Mission: Impossible film). A lot of that budget is poured into producing a movie with a focus on quality, locations and real stunts.
This $400 million budget makes The Final Reckoning one of the most expensive films of all time.
When adjusted for inflation, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Cleopatra are often cited as the most expensive films of all time.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) had an estimated production budget of $379 million at the time of its release. Adjusting for inflation, this amounts to approximately $422 million. This figure excludes marketing and promotional costs.
Cleopatra (1963) had a production cost of $44 million at the time—a record-breaking amount then. When adjusted for inflation, this equates to approximately $422 million , placing it on par with On Stranger Tides.

While this film might ultimately be an albatross for its studio (Paramount) and not provide the return on investment that it requires in these trying economic times. There is something beautiful about how this film throws all its chips on the table to make pure cinema fanfare.
Outside of Marvel Studios, we might never see a film of this magnitude produced again. It takes a classic approach to cinema and combines it with modern resources.
This film is absolutely made for cinema. It is a popcorn movie.

While it’s not perfect and is edged out by some of the other films in the series for overall quality, it is a thrill-a-minute. It is almost three hours of heart-in-the-mouth emotional investment for the cinema goer as Tom doubles down again and again on creating classic cinema.
This could not be any truer than the fact that one of the signatures of this series is that Tom generally does all of his own stunts.
Beginning with the CIA vault drop in the original film, where he balanced horizontally inches above a pressure-sensitive floor. In Mission: Impossible II, he scaled the cliffs of Dead Horse Point in Utah without a stunt double. In Ghost Protocol, he climbed the exterior of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, hundreds of feet in the air. In Rogue Nation, he famously hung onto the side of an Airbus A400M during takeoff, repeating the stunt eight times. Fallout featured a motorcycle chase through Paris without a helmet, a high-altitude HALO jump from 25,000 feet, and a helicopter chase in which he acted as the actual pilot. He even broke his ankle during a rooftop jump but finished the scene, which was left in the final cut. In Dead Reckoning Part One, Tom executed a motorcycle launch off a cliff, followed by a BASE jump, which he performed multiple times, and took part in a train-top battle and collapse sequence shot on practical sets.
The Final Reckoning continues this with several innovative set pieces performed by Tom. Although the signature piece of the film sees him clinging to the wing of a 1930s Boeing Stearman biplane as it performs aerial manoeuvres at altitudes reaching 10,000 feet and speeds up to 140 mph. Filmed over the landscapes of South Africa, this was executed without the aid of CGI. He underwent extensive training to withstand the intense wind pressure and oxygen deprivation experienced during the stunt, even developing specific breathing techniques and hand signals to communicate with the pilot during the flight.
Tom Cruise plays Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Image: Paramount Pictures and Skydance.
As per Mission: Impossible style, the film franchise also featured many beautiful and exotic locations in addition to South Africa. Overall the series has highlighted locations such as: Prague, London, Virginia, Sydney, Utah, Rome, Shanghai, Xitang, Berlin, Los Angeles, Dubai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Moscow, Budapest, Vancouver, Vienna, Casablanca, Marrakesh, Paris, Abu Dhabi, New Zealand’s Rees Valley, Norway’s Pulpit Rock, Venice, Birmingham, Lake District (UK), Malta, and various cities in South Africa.
In an industry where most film franchises are given a choice between leaving money on the table and concluding a film series to preserve the integrity of the product, or jumping the shark (continuing to go and eventually create lower quality films). Mission: Impossible somehow reinvented itself in the middle of its run and has crafted a body of work that will forever stand as unique.
There is significant doubt about whether or not this is the final film in the franchise. To be honest, there may not be room in the modern film industry for these types of films anymore, not the way that Tom and McQuarrie like to make them. If that’s the case, then that is a shame, but if it is, then they did not go gentle into the night; they went out in a blaze of glory.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is in cinemas now.
Against all odds, Payton and Jordan stayed together until the Love Triangle Reunion— but a huge spanner was thrown in the works when audio surfaced of Jordan making a vile comment about his girlfriend.
In a post-reunion interview, Payton told Chattr that things only got worse after the Reunion wrapped, and she believes her whole relationship with Jordan was a lie.
“I don’t think he’s ever had feelings for me at all. Genuinely, I don’t think he’s ever had feelings for me.”
Payton told Chattr that straight after the cameras stopped rolling at the Reunion, Jordan “didn’t have much to say.”
“He just kept saying, ‘I didn’t know you then, and I know you now,’ and that the experiment worked the way that it worked,” she said.

What happened between Payton and Jordan after the Love Triangle Reunion?
Payton explained that she flew out to her friend’s engagement party the morning after the Reunion, which is when Jordan first broached the subject of the audio played.
“I got off the plane in Perth to this really, really long text, basically saying that it all worked — the experiment worked — and that he’s so apologetic, and more than anything, he wants to keep trying with this and give this a shot. And, yeah, just essentially spilling his guts with emotion.”
“I read it and teared up because I was like, ‘Oh, he’s had time to process and realise that he doesn’t want to lose me’. I mean, where the hell was this last night? But okay. And I thought, maybe it means more because it’s off camera, you know? Maybe it means more because it is between us — and it’s off camera, and it’s real.”
Payton said she agreed to give their relationship another go, but Jordan put in no effort.
“We probably exchanged 10 messages after that — very half assed messages — him being like, ‘Oh, this was my day,’ and it was a photo of, like, a fence. Like, just absolutely nothing.”
Payton knew she needed more from Jordan and spent some time writing out her thoughts.
“I needed to put my feelings on paper. I needed to end it, and I needed it to be done, because I don’t want to be holding space for someone who’s taking up my energy, my time and my feelings.”
Payton and Jordan on their first date on Love Triangle. Image: Stan.
After reflecting on her situation, she decided she wanted to break up with him and thought the best way to do it was over the phone.
“I tried calling him, but there was no answer. I tried calling him six times, right? Six times — no answer. He did not text me to say, ‘Are you okay? Why are you calling me? Is everything good?’ Nothing.”
She said Jordan finally sent her a message weeks after the missed calls.
“And he goes, ‘Why did you call me seven hundred times the other night?’ Obviously, it’s been weeks since I tried calling him. And he goes, ‘Yeah, but why? I thought something bad had happened?’ It had been weeks.
“I said, ‘I wanted to talk to you’. And he goes, ‘What was wrong?’ And I was like, ‘The moments been and gone.’ And he was like, ‘Rats.’ That was it.”
Payton added that they hadn’t spoken since, except for a message from him asking if she watched the Reunion — which she didn’t reply to.
She added that what hurt her most was the fact that it seemed like Jordan had zero regard for her feelings.
“It’s the deceit — because someone who I genuinely thought, if not a lover, was at least a friend at the end of the day… but he’s not even that.”
Payton added that her time on Love Triangle has taught her to value herself more and stop tolerating toxic behaviour.
“I’ve definitely learned not to settle. I’ve definitely learned not to put up with anyone’s bullshit. And that, yeah, there’s someone for everyone—and my self-worth is definitely a lot greater than putting up with any of that bullshit.”
Payton thriving after the show. Image: Instagram.
What were Love Triangle’s Jordan’s controversial comments about Payton?
Of course, as viewers, we already knew Jordan once said some pretty horrible things about Payton during the first dinner party.
“Fuck you man, you know I’m not attracted to that,” Jordan said to someone, about Payton. “I asked for small, tanned, ethnic… She is the complete opposite in every single thing.
“Literally any other girl here I would be into,” he continued. “If I fucked her or whatever then I’m like even more of a fuckwit. Like, there’s just no way I’m not looking like an arsehole after this, dude.”
PreviousLove Triangle star Allan Wallace told Chattr it’s pretty hard to forget you’re mic’d up. “You usually ask your sound guy to mute your mic,” he said. “If you’re still wearing a mic, just don’t say anything dumb, surely it’s common sense. It’s virtually impossible [to forget].”

What happened between Jordan and Payton at the Reunion?
Things at the reunion started on a hopeful note, with Payton and Jordan confirming they were still dating, doing long-distance and officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
Then, Jordan’s controversial comments were shown, leaving Payton in a state of shock.
“I got carried away. I completely forgot I said it, but I said it,” Jordan said as an explanation.
Payton teared up as she said she was “used to it and disappointed” and “not thrilled about the situation.”
“That was all me, that was prompted,” Jordan said, before Chrishell called him out for not giving a genuine or remorseful apology.
“I’m genuinely sorry for saying it, I can’t imagine how you felt,” Jordan said, before Payton said she wasn’t sure if she could continue the relationship.
“I don’t think there’s any apology, the only thing I can do is show you in the next few weeks how much my feelings have changed for you,” Jordan said. “There’s nothing I can say, that was fucked.”
Pressure Tests are the crème de la crème of MasterChef Australiachallenges; they’re set by esteemed chefs, involve extremely long recipes, take hours, and usually end in an elimination.
Another thing Pressure Tests have in common is that most of them seem to involve desserts, and eliminated contestant Jimmy Wong tells us why this is.
Jimmy was sent through to the Pressure Test in the episode that aired May 20 alongside Ben Macdonald, Rue Mupedzi and Tim Bone. The four contestants were tasked with recreating Steven He‘s Balloon Puppy cake, an entremet topped with a white chocolate balloon puppy.

When Jimmy received the news that he’d be competing in a Pressure Test, he knew there was a good chance that he’d be making a dessert.
“Desserts are probably not my strongest point, you know, being the first time that I’ve ever tempered white chocolate, that was a bit scary,” he told Chattr.
Jimmy added that the cook involved 92 steps, and said they were given three hours to recreate the cake.
“There were a few moments in the cook where I said, you know, in hindsight, I could have done it a little bit differently. You know, when you’re in that melting pot of of a Pressure Test, you know, you’ve gotta move like the clackers, but, but you’ve also gotta sort of trust your gut.”
In MasterChef Australia 2023 and 2024, five of the eight Pressure Tests involved desserts, and both this season have featured sweet dishes.
Jimmy told Chattr that he believes it’s because there is a lot of intricacy involved with whipping up a dessert.
“I think it’s a lot more technique when it comes to desserts. There’s a lot more exactness when it comes to dessert. So I think that’s always something that I think the show uses to sort of really test you out.
Take note, future contestants, it might be time to sharpen those baking skills.
MasterChef Australia airs on Sunday at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
With reality stars practically influencers and influencers practically celebrities, you can now expect to see MAFS stars and the like at Australian Fashion Week at Carriageworks in Sydney.
So we look back at who else was at AFW 2025, and what they wearing.
Reality stars at Australian Fashion Week
Carina Mirabile

Carina Mirabele has been slaying AFW, however her haters came for her when she showed up in what appeared to be a fur coat and long hair extensions. Speaking to Chattr, Carina explained that “it’s not real fur, bought from a vintage store in New York. I wouldn’t wear anything that’s not ethically sourced.”
The rumour mill has been in overdrive since Jamie and Elliot were spotted canoodling in Queensland. After being spotted again together at AFW, you have to wonder if they are more than just friends? Well, they do look damn good together.

Chrishell Stause brought serious star power to the Love Triangle 2025 Reunion — and she didn’t shy away from calling the men out for their shocking behaviour, something she says she learned during her time on Selling Sunset.
Chrishell, who has been the main character on all eight seasons of the drama-fuelled Netflix show, said that it took her a while to feel confident enough to stand up for herself. So, going into the Love TriangleReunion, she wanted to use the skills she’d learnt over the years and make it clear who was in charge.
“I was the biggest person of thinking of what I wanted to say after [the fact] — once it was already over. And I think just being in the situation and the environments I’m in, I had to learn quickly and on my feet,” she explained.
“I think that that was why I was able to stay calm and try and, you know, be in charge of this situation that very quickly could get out of hand and go wild and go left.
Chrishell on Love Triangle. Image: Stan.
“I really wanted to have that kind of power position, a little bit, so that there would be respect there.
“Because you can see that this is the kind of situation that if you don’t have that, then it’s kind of like with children, if you don’t establish a little bit of authority, they’re just going to — like with a substitute coming in — they’re going to be wild. So I wanted to kind of have a little bit of separation.”
And, Chrishell didn’t disappoint. When Chloe revealed that Bernie has dumped her the night before the Reunion, after palming off his Love Triangle matches Jazmin and Marissa, the host called him out for clout chasing, and being a fuckboy. Bravo!

How Chrishell established a powerful dynamic during the Love Triangle Reunion
Chrishell has been in her fair share of Selling Sunset Reunions and hosted Netflix’s Reality Games, so she’s no stranger to being in the hot seat — or putting others in it.
But, going into the Love Triangle Reunion, she said that there was a plan in place so that she didn’t form any personal connections with the contestants ahead of the interview that would stop her from hitting them with the hard questions.
“They didn’t let us talk a lot before, and I think that that helped, because I’d want to be friendly with them if I met them. In any other circumstance, I’d be like, ‘Hi. How are you? Nice to meet you, I love your dress.’ You know, all these things, but it was important for me to be able to keep that distance a little bit so that when I see something, I can call it out.
Chrishell with the Love Triangle cast. Image: Stan.
“I didn’t want to feel like, ‘Oh, I really like them and oh, they’re really charming. So let me not say that’. I just didn’t want to have any biases, and you see someone like Bernie is the perfect example. He would have loved to have charmed me beforehand, so that I was on his side,” she laughed.
Can we please keep Chrishell for every future Love Triangle Reunion?
As mentioned last week, I was fortunate enough to be the primary guest in the first two episodes of Billion Dollar Playground with a bunch of my glamorous girlfriends.
After what unfolded on Episode 1, I couldn’t wait for our second adventure to air – especially because it featured one of the things I’m obsessed with: super yachts.
Two years ago I spent four unforgettable days trackside at the Monaco Grand Prix aboard a mega super yacht and it was an unforgettable experience. While our boat wasn’t going to be a ‘super’ yacht, our group and I were still excited to get out on the harbour.
The day started glamorously as we got our hair and makeup done ahead of a private lunch at the stunning Omeggio (which happens to be in my neighbourhood).
It was funny to watch that behind the scenes Elsie was buried under a mountain of ‘50 designer dresses to steam’. I had no idea that steaming our clothes would end up being such a saga on the show, but fashion prep is serious business on the Playground.
Heaven with my friends and I. Image: Binge.
Then Heaven dropped the first bombshell: our original yacht was cancelled. Cue mild panic. But credit where it’s due – Heaven pulled out all the stops to secure us another one. Unfortunately, the brewing storm turned into a torrential downpour, and even the replacement yacht got cancelled.

We tried to pivot the energy by requesting something a little extra for our evening party: belly dancing skirts. The ladies in my group are exotic (European and Middle Eastern) so we wanted to spice things up for our party. Heaven jumped into action, but it was during this process that the tension between her and Salvatore reached boiling point. What started as minor friction escalated fast, and in true reality TV style, the hot-headed Salvatore stormed out and quit on the spot – causing chaos for the crew.
With Salvatore gone, Alex from Luxico stepped in and made a surprise call: Jasmin was promoted to lead. JB didn’t look thrilled about the change, and his secret hopes of being the boss seemed crushed.
Jasmin, who’d always been lovely to us, rose to the occasion. Ironically, I had a list of suggestions I was planning to give Salvatore after he’d previously encouraged my feedback. I didn’t expect to have to hand that list to Jasmin, and I genuinely didn’t want to bust her chops – especially since she wasn’t originally in charge of the house preps and guest experience.
Watching the episode back, I’ll admit some of my complaints—like the bin placement or the towels being too smooth—seemed a bit extra in the edit. But when you’re paying top dollar for a luxe experience, you really do expect five-star touches. And for the record, in Episode 1, the bin was next to the sink!
Jasmin and I. Image: Binge.
There was also a cheeky dinner scene where the conversation turned to our hot private chefs – let’s just say we weren’t shy about whether they were available for hire. Watching them blush while we teased was hilarious, and one of many impromptu fun moments.
Chefs Matt and George. Image: Binge.
Later that night, our last-minute request for a fire dancer actually came through (thank you, Heaven!), along with our belly dancing skirts. We ended up having an epic party. The cameras captured some of the dancing spilling outside with the spectacular city views in the background. What you didn’t see was how the party kept going well into the night. We danced, we laughed, and we celebrated what felt like a truly magical experience.
When it was time to leave the next day, we were genuinely sad. After spending two full days with the crew, it was a delight to get to know them on a personal level. As a gesture of our appreciation, the ladies and I gifted them a bottle of the (infamous) vintage Dom Pérignon. That was my last episode on the show, so it felt like the perfect send-off.
The preview for Ep 3 shows Billion Dollar Playground is just warming up. Tensions continue to simmer behind the scenes as next group of guests arrive. The new location looks absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to see how things unfold … or unravel!
I’ll still be watching the rest of the season and bringing you my weekly insider takes on the cast, crew, and the binge-worthy drama!
From the luxurious villas to the wild party scenes Billion Dollar Playground is pure escapism—and trust me, it’s addictive. Whether you’re watching for the ultra-lux locations, the staff drama, or to live vicariously through the guests, you won’t want to miss a second.
The Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 cast have been busy answering fan questions since they gained control of their social media accounts back. Jamie Marinos has constantly been asked about her relationship with Eliot Donovan, as well as receiving comments about any cosmetic procedures or plastic surgery she’s had.
She’s been surprisingly open about what she’s had done — including a boob job and filler in her lips — and tells Chattr she prides herself on not “gatekeeping” anything from people in her life. And we’re all part of her life now, having developed a parasocial relationship with her through MAFS.
“I’m just someone [that doesn’t] gatekeep, and I feel like it’s so unauthentic to be like, ‘Yeah, I naturally don’t make lines on my face’. Like, no, just say you’ve got Botox! I mean, clearly I don’t… [but] people just assume,” Jamie says.
“I don’t know what everyone’s issue is with fake lips, like my lips are so vintage. They were done in 2022, but it’s like, people just say, ‘Oh she’s got lips so she’s just so fake and she’s got filler everywhere’.”
Jamie says she hasn’t had filler or Botox anywhere else, and is open and honest about what work she’s had done.
“I had my boobs done years ago, but I’m like, it’s obvious. They don’t move! Like I’m not going to pretend that they’re real,” she spills. “If I do something else, like if I choose to get my nose done, it’ll be bloody obvious,” she adds.

Jamie slams trolls criticising her appearance
With the territory of being a reality TV star comes the influx of trolls in your inbox. Jamie isn’t too bothered by the insults, but she thinks everybody should have agency over their own body and decide what they want to do. Amen!
“I just don’t think people should be criticising people’s appearances period. Like, yes, I am quite natural in the way I approach things, where most of the time I don’t even have makeup on… I’m usually someone who’s really low-key, and I think a lot of people have celebrated the fact that I went bare-skin most of the time,” she explains.
“On the flip side, I don’t want to be torn apart for when I decide to put makeup on, because now I’m ‘looking too fake’,” she says. “I’ve had people that have messaged me like, ‘I love you. You look so pretty, but you look better without your lips’.”
It’s definitely an odd message to send a MAFS star, and Jamie calls it “weird”.
“What do you want me to do? Suck my lips out here, now? Like, even if I decide to dissolve them, I have to walk around thinking Karen_7 thinks I don’t look good right now,” she jokes. “I have done fine when it comes to picking up men with my botched lips and my big beak, and whatever the hell they think is going on, I seem to do fine.”
There can be a bit of a stigma around women getting plastic surgery or talking about their cosmetic procedures, so it’s refreshing to see a reality TV star get so candid about the topic.
Jamie believes that shaming anybody for their choices is unproductive, and isn’t here for it. We love this energy! “If I choose to do [my nose], everyone needs to back off, like I can do whatever I want. I think anyone should be able to do whatever they want,” she declares.
“You get your hair done, you go to the gym, you get your nails done, you put makeup on. I’m not going to shame anyone for wanting to look a certain way.”
In an interview, Jamie tells us that while she loves to “flirt” with the MAFS groom, both of them are single. So no, there’s no secret engagement or baby on the way. Sorry to all those Jeliot shippers out there!
“I’ve been mainly hanging out with the MAFS cast, like, I think now that we’ve jumped in this crazy world, we do a lot of appearances together, we’re travelling, so from a male perspective, obviously, I’ve hung out with Eliot quite a bit,” she explains.
“But him and I, we’re both single. I think we both need that selfish time. It’s kind of like the perfect situation where I have my little flirt flirt, he’s been [a] great support system.”
After everything they went through with their exes on MAFS — Dave Hand and Veronica Cloherty — the pair simply aren’t ready to dive into anything just yet. But you know what they say, never say never.
“We are probably not at that stage where we’re ready to jump into a relationship, like there’s so many things that I want to do and he wants to do, but we’re both open,” she hints.
“I never know what will happen like he’s fantastic, so it wouldn’t be like the worst situation if I end up with Eliot.”
They make a good looking couple, though… Image: Instagram
What does Jamie think about the shade directed at the MAFS nightclub appearances?
The Jamie and Eliot romance rumours have only grown after fans went wild over their recent nightclub appearances. However, it’s attracted a bit of shade from some other MAFS contestants, like Katie Johnstone, who shared a social media post saying she was too “busy” for club appearances.
These jabs don’t bother Jamie, who to be fair, is “out there getting drunk [and] getting paid”. Business queen.
“For me, I feel like we all throw shade at each other but it’s like a humorous way. When people make a TikTok, honestly, pick at me for anything you want, like I can handle it, I know it’s a joke,” Jamie says.
“I think it’s different when it’s actually an attack… and like, I work at a nigtclub, and I love a nightclub. Like I’ll swing off the lampshade, I mean you might be taking jabs, but I’m out there getting drunk [and] getting paid. Who’s the real winner?”
People hate to see strong women come out on top! Thank God we had Jamie to carry MAFS 2025 on her back.
ICYMI, MAFS 2025 saw a ‘cheating scandal’ erupt between Sierah and Adrian Araouzou after they went out to dinner (with Tony Mojanovski)behindBilly’sback. The drama was rehashed at a Dinner Party, and viewers saw a scene of Sierah and Adrian, which looked like they were playing ‘footsies’ under the table.
Sierah has now taken to Instagram, sharing a screenshot of the ‘footsies’ incident and claiming that it didn’t actually take place, while calling Billy out in the process.
“That doesn’t even look sexy, nor does it actually look like we are touching,” she wrote. “What actually happened was Billy accused me of saying something, then moments later denied it. When I got annoyed, he told me to ‘calm down’ and was actually called out for being controlling by the experts for this.”
Sierah’s story about the ‘footsies’ incident. Image: Instagram.
In a follow-up story, Sierah responded to a fan who said she looked broken at her last commitment ceremony.
“My feelings were never included,” she wrote. “The way I was treated wasn’t shown.” Sierah added that the “lack of context actually speaks volumes”.

Billy has moved on from the MAFS drama
An inside source close to Billy told Chattr that Billy is sick of Sierah bringing his name into drama and has “moved on.” However, they doubled down that the relationship between Billy and Sierah was correctly represented on MAFS.
“Let’s be honest, what you saw on TV is what happened,” they said. “Billy never treated her wrongly. It just didn’t work out, and he doesn’t know why she can’t just move on, too.”
I’m not the betting type, but if I were, I wouldn’t put money on it. The MAFS just drama never ends!
Farmer Wants A Wife Australia is often thought of as the wholesome version of other reality TV juggernauts like MAFS and The Bachelor. However, not all is as it seems.
Speaking to Ellen Dunger from last year’s season of Farmer Wants A Wife, Tahlia and Lachlan found out why the once wholesome show is slowly turning into the chaos of MAFS.
“Making a wholesome show more dramatic is just going to do more damage in the long run,” podcast host Tahlia said of the show’s increasing drama.
While most of us are aware of the producer tactics used on MAFS, Ellen revealed that similar tactics are used on FWAW – cultivating a highly emotional atmosphere for the women on the show.
“One day they grilled me dead set for 45 minutes straight and I was just balling my eyes out,” Ellen told the podcast. “They were like, why have all your relationships failed? Do you think you deserve love? Do you love yourself?”
“The next day I had a massive breakdown. I was so tired and then just emotionally you don’t realise how much talking about that sort of stuff actually takes out of you.”
That day, Ellen told producers she wasn’t ok and up to filming – but they made her do it anyway.

Another tactic producers would use on Farmer Wants A Wife, is isolating the women without phones, books, magazines or anything to keep them occupied.
Before leaving, Ellen revealed she was locked in a bedroom by producers who wouldn’t tell her what was going on. Later, finding out it was all part of her storyline with Todd the farmer.
“It’s kind of like they would lock you up to make you go crazy,” she said.
Farmer Wants a Wife contestant’s dismal pay
Not only are the conditions of being on the show dire, but the pay is even worse.
For the two and a half weeks Ellen was on FWAW, she revealed that the money she made “wouldn’t have even been $1000”.
What’s worse, is that not only are you not being paid much, but contestants also have to foot the bill for a lot of “out of pocket expenses”.
Simply buying a coffee in town is an out of pocket cost. Plus, all the outfits you’re expected to wear on the show.
According to Daisy, Channel Seven pays the Ladies 60 per cent of what they’re owed once filming wraps. The final 40 per cent isn’t paid out until the show has aired.
“They withhold that money as sort of like, it’s over your head, like if you keep your mouth shut [and] you protect the integrity of Farmer Wants A Wife,” she explains.
While the MAFS girls tend to reach out to dress companies before going on the show, that same culture doesn’t exist for the women on FWAW who have to supply their own dresses and outfits.
In the end, the women who go on Farmer Wants A Wife aren’t necessarily in it for an influencer career in the same way as MAFS contestants. However, with more dramatic storylines and villains – like we’ve seen with Clarette’s villain edit – it wouldn’t be a surprise if FWAW becomes just another MAFS reincarnate.
Lovable dentist Matt Hopcraft returned to the MasterChef Australia 2025 kitchen a decade after his first stint to compete against some of the most impressive contestants of all time for Back to Win.
Amongst the cast is two-time runner upLaura Sharrad, MasterChef Asia judge Audra Morrice and food writer Alana Lowes.
Matt was sent home during a challenge involving “tableside theatre”. In a post-elimination interview, he told Chattr that when he first laid eyes on his fellow competitors, he knew the season was going to be challenging.

“I think once you find out that you’re up against some of the big names that have come in that kitchen before and have done really well, who are accomplished chefs, I think that was always going to be really, really tough.
“But, I wanted to push myself to be a little bit more creative, to be a little bit more myself this time around than last time around, and I think I did that. I guess there was a part of me that hoped that I would go further, that hoped that I was in with a chance to win, because that’s why you go on in the first place.”
Of course, fans of MasterChef Australia Back to Win will know that three contestants, Callum Hann, Sarah Todd, and Laura, returned for a third time this season. However, Matt explained that it wasn’t the contestant’s extra time in the MasterChef kitchen that he saw as a threat.

The three MasterChef Australia contestants that Matt thinks have an advantage
Matt explained that he believes contestants with extensive experience working in kitchens and restaurants have a huge advantage in comparison to other contestants. He named Andre Ursini, Laura and Callum as having the kind of professional background that gives them a significant edge
“Callum and Laura, who have restaurants, and Andre, who’s got a restaurant, those sort of people that you just knew are cooking every day, high-quality food, running services all the time. I think they were, they were clearly the people to watch.
“They’ve definitely got a huge advantage because they are so immersed in food.”

Matt referred back to Episode 1, in which Callum headed up their team and they won.
“That for me was [evident] on day one, when we had to do a service challenge for Gordon Ramsay and Callum was our team captain, it was just really obvious. We won because he was able to marshal us into a team, with people that had never met each other and who’d never cooked [together] before. So it’s definitely an advantage.”
Will we see a restaurant owner take out the season? We’ll just have to wait and see!
MasterChef Australia airs on Sunday at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
Love Triangle 2025‘s ChloeHannigan and BerniePlacido shocked viewers when they struck up a connection outside of their own matches. Both participants were original suitors and were given not one, but two options to date on the show.
However, after Bernie locked eyes with Chloe at the first Dinner Party, it appeared that he’d all but forgotten about hisLove Triangle matches, Jazmin and Marissa. He later made it clear that he was determined to get to know Chloe and slid her a secret letter confessing his feelings.
Chloe told Chattr that she had no idea that Bernie was interested in her before he made his move.

“I was definitely very surprised at how interested Bernie was from the very start, I was completely oblivious,” she said.
“I genuinely was tunnel-visioned. I didn’t even think to like, look elsewhere, so I had not even the tiniest niggling instincts that that this was happening. I just was like, He’s a really cool guy. I can be quite oblivious to when people fancy me. I’m always like, no, they surely they don’t think that of me.”
However, Bernie’s letter clearly worked, as Chloe secretly met up with him at the final Dinner Party and the couple shared a kiss away from their partners.
So, did Chloe and Bernie stay together in the real world? Let’s dive in!

Chloe and Bernie’s final Love Triangle decision
Chloe found herself in a love square between Emma, Beck and Chloe. It was Beck who removed herself from the situation first, then after Bernie reached out to Chloe and asked her to meet him on final decision day, she decided to break up with Beck, too.
Meanwhile, Bernie got double dumped by Jazmin and Marissa.
Chloe met Bernie at a park for the decision. However, rather than hearing a spiel from Bernie about how he wanted to be with Chloe, viewers saw Chloe take the floor and tell Bernie she wanted to pursue a future with him.
The new couple sealed their fate with a kiss, with Chloe telling the camera that she was feeling “over the moon.”

Are Chloe and Bernie still together in real life?
Nope! Bernie and Chloe continued to see each other after the Final Decision, but he dumped her one night before the Reunion.
“Bernie and I have been getting to know each other for the past couple of weeks,” Chloe explained.
“Bernie took us on a weekend to the Blue Mountains, things were going really, really, really well. But, last night Bernie told me that he didn’t want to continue pursuing me.
I was told that Bernie didn’t want to continue seeing me because we have different senses of humour.
The rest of the cast ripped into Bernie for his treatment of Jazmin and Marissa. To wrap it all up in a tight little bow, Bernie unofficially became the villain of Love Triangle 2025. Move over, Mike Gunner.
Although Ari Djoric‘s run on Love Triangle 2025 was a bit of a rollercoaster, her relationship with her only suitor, NuriKaya, was pretty smooth sailing.
Ari was initially presented with two matches to text, ‘S’ and ‘N’ — ‘N’ being Nuri and ‘S’ being Sam Carraro, who you may recognise from Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2021. However, after some awkward exchanges between Sam and Ari, he ghosted her, and she ended up meeting up with Nuri, who she hit it off with.
Partway through the season, all of the original suitors had their second pick move into the house, completing the love triangle. While Sam showed up at the house Nuri and Ari were staying in, he left shortly after his arrival.
“Everyone knows that’s not who I would date, ever. She’s not my cup of tea. I just wanted to get out of here,” Sam told a producer. “Get my bag, I’m out.”
Fortunately for Ari, after Sam’s quick cameo, the rest of her time with Nuri continued to go well, and the couple were clearly smitten with one another.
What happened at Ari and Nuri’s Final Decision?
Heading into the Final Decision, Ari shared that she had doubts about whether Nuri was ready for a relationship.
“I just don’t think I can hold another emotionally unavailable man’s hand again, and I always do it,” she explained.
When Ari and Nuri met up for their Final Decision, they both voiced their reservations about a long-distance relationship, but decided to give it a shot outside of the experiment.
“I like you, I like the pace that we’re going at. I guess the last thing to say is, Ari, would you like to join me on a date now outside?” Nuri asked, and Ari accepted.
“We’re two peas in a pod, and that doesn’t come around often. So, yeah, I would like to see how we go on the outside,” she said.
Are Ari and Nuri still together?
While Ari and Nuri arrived at the Love Triangle Reunion looking cosy, they confirmed that they were no longer romantically involved.
“We left, he went back to the Gold Coast, I went back to Melbourne. We texted a bit, I guess, a little bit, but there hasn’t really been anything,” Ari explained.
She added that Nuri’s replies got “more drawn out” and he explained that he struggled with the long distance.
However, not all hope is lost for Ari and Nuri! When the Love Triangle host Chrishell Stause asked if there was any hope for the couple in the future, Nuri said there was a “possibility” if they’re in the same city.
She went as far as to admit that she wishes she self-eliminated from the show, early on in the piece in an interview with Chattr. So, after such a negative experience, would Emma be open to returning for another season?
“Actually, yeah, probably because I’m sick of dating apps,” she told Chattr.
Emma added that while she “definitely” didn’t think her and Farmer Tom were right for each other, she’d be willing to give it a shot with another Farmer.
“I want someone who gives me a chance and can see what I’m like. But yeah, overall, I would definitely [return],” she explained.
“I love the country,” Emma added. “I am a country girl, but I guess there was just nothing there [with Farmer Tom].

What did Emma say about self-eliminating from FWAW 2025?
As mentioned, Emma considered leaving Farmer Wants a Wife when she noticed Farmer Tom’s interest in her waning.
“There were moments when I was just like, ‘I don’t know if I want to be here’, but I wanted to make the most of the experience, to try and see if I could form a connection,” she told Chattr.
“I thought about giving [the relationship] a chance because you don’t know. Maybe he’s awkward and shy in some ways, and I just wanted to see if something could progress.
“But looking back, I do feel like I should have left a bit earlier at the first couple of signs — when I realised he wasn’t making eye contact, and I felt not included. I probably should have left earlier.”
At the end of the day, both the Ladies and Farmers are looking to find the connection that’s right for them.
Farmer Wants a Wife airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
In an exclusive chat with Chattr, she shared some behind-the-scenes secrets, including how much cash the Farmers walk away with.
It turns out the lucky blokes make about $6000 to $7000 for appearing on the show. That’s not too shabby for six to seven weeks of filming, plus they also get an added bonus of finding ~love~.
However, there’s a catch — Channel Seven supposedly only pays the Farmers some of the fee up front, and waits until the show has finished airing to settle up.
“I think [Farmer] Toddwalked away from it — again, it’s a 60/40 thing, so I think they get paid around $3000 when they first start, and then after the show is… they end up with about $6000 or $7000,” Daisy spills.

How much do the Ladies on Farmer Wants A Wife get paid?
Daisy reveals the ladies are paid less than the Farmers on Farmer Wants A Wife, even though they have to do their own hair and makeup as well as provide outfits.
“The women going on the show are paid $80 a day for the days that we’re away. So if you’re only on the show for like a week, then it’s alright, like you only have a week to worry about,” she says.
“But if you’re on the show for four to eight weeks like our season, you get paid sweet FA and you don’t actually get that pay straight away.”

Daisy Lamb exposes filming conditions on Farmer Wants A Wife
Daisy also tells Chattr filming conditions are rough on Farmer Wants A Wife — so the Ladies definitely deserve to be paid more!
“There were some days where [we] were filming well into like 1am, 2am, and then after filming you would have to send outfits to the production team to get approved for the next day or the next scene,” she spills.
“I got some comments online saying, ‘Why does she always look drunk?’. And I’m like, sis, I’m just tired. We are all just tired.”

Producers would also use techniques to get what they wanted out of contestants, because as we all know, reality TV isn’t exactly real.
“They’ll ask you [the same question] five or six times until you get so frustrated, and you [explode],” she recalls. “They’ll grab that, and they’ll put that into a scene.
“I remember they did that with Todd’s mum. They asked her the same question, and she must have rolled her eyes [as] she was so over it, and then that’s what they grab and that’s what they use.”
That’s spicy! A good reminder for us to never quite believe everything we see play out on screen, especially when it comes to this year’s ‘villain’ Clarette.
Farmer Wants a Wife airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
She told Chattr that as the show progressed, she felt her initial connection with Farmer Tom grow more distant.
“He never really made eye contact with me, he never really asked me questions. I felt like he was more interested in the other two girls, but I also didn’t feel like he gave me a proper chance to be honest and really tried to get to know me,” she explained.

“I remember feeling like he got closer to the other girls, basically talking to them more and going for walks with them. I felt excluded, to be honest, I felt a little bit left out. I really tried to be my vulnerable and best self.”
When asked if she wishes she had left Farmer Wants a Wife when she first started to feel distance from Farmer Tom, Emma confirmed she did, adding, “But then they’d be down to the top two.”
She explained that while she flirted with the idea of self-eliminating, she didn’t want to wonder what could have been with Farmer Tom.
“There were moments when I was just like, ‘I don’t know if I want to be here’, but I wanted to make the most of the experience, to try and see if I could form a connection.

Emma weighs in on Bridget and Emmie’s decision to self-eliminate from FWAW 2025
“I can understand why they chose to leave. If I’m being honest, I think it’s a really brave move to leave like that.
“I did check up on Bridget that night to see if she was okay after a few things Bridget’s already mentioned, and I can kind of see her perspective, if I’m being honest.”

While Emma may not have found love on FWAW, she told Chattr that she’s made some lifelong mates.
“I’ve definitely got amazing friends out of the experience. I’m pretty close to Bridget now. She’s an amazing chick, and I still talk to all of the girls. I get along with all of them.”
FWAW may not have brought Emma love, but it definitely delivered some lasting connections.

There’s been some controversy around Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025’s Carina Mirabile, after a video Chattr posted showed her wearing what appeared to be a fur coat. The MAFS star has been busy attending Australian Fashion Week shows in Sydney, and she looked striking in a vintage outfit at Carriageworks.
However, fans and animal activists soon latched onto the fact that Carina’s fur coat looked realistic. Wild-animal skins, wild feathers and furs are banned at AFW, and animal activist Bailey (@warriorforanimals) said they had lodged an “official complaint” with AFW.
Carina tells Chattr there has been a misunderstanding because her fur coat was fake.
“It’s not real fur, bought from a vintage store in New York. I wouldn’t wear anything that’s not ethically sourced,” she says.
As for her hair extensions, she told fans her hairstylist also uses “vegan products”, so no animals were harmed for her look.
After years of protesting, AFW was declared wildlife-free for 2025. This includes the runways as well as those attending — meaning the event is more sustainable and compassionate.
“This [is] a reminder that the fashion industry can be a positive force for wildlife, and change the lives of crocodiles, ostriches, minks and more,” Suzanne Milthorpe for World Animal Protection Australia said.
“We are seeing a domino effect of fashion events around Australia and the world rejecting exotic skins, feathers and fur. With this new wildlife policy, Australian Fashion Week [has] joined the growing list of runways that are embracing innovative alternatives to cruelty.”

What have people been saying about Carina’s Australian Fashion Week look?
The original video has had over 150K views on social media, and comments are constantly flowing in.
“She’s wearing fur — time to cancel her,” one person wrote.
“I hope that coat isn’t real fur,” another worried viewer added.
“I hope that’s [a] faux fur jacket,” a third pointed out.
Carina says it’s “worrying” people were so quick to jump to conclusions.
“People are so quick to judge in this day and age and it’s worrying and detrimental on people’s lives. We are not robots. If people have nothing nice to say, they should n’t say anything at all,” she tells us.
“There is already enough cruelty in the world, people shouldn’t add to it, but try and make it a better peaceful place.”
At least everybody is agreeing that real fur is out and faux fur is the way to go! Let’s just not cancel someone before we know all the facts next time.
The Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 cast have been busy launching their influencer careers, but Adrian Araouzou’s path to fame seems to be over before it even really began. On May 5, it was announced that he had been signed to Roxy Jacenko’s talent agency, Ministry of Talent. Just one week later, he was quietly dropped.
Adrian tells Chattr he believes it’s due to the backlash Roxy would have received after signing him.
“I can understand [Roxy’s] point of view [if she received] backlash. People hate seeing people do good and unfortunately, a lot of people will do the most to make sure I don’t,” he says.
He doesn’t think it was any of his fellow MAFS contestants — even estranged ex Awhina Rutene — who contacted Roxy, but others from his past. The backlash Roxy received could have possibly been about Adrian’s past legal issues, where he was acquitted of domestic violence charges against a former partner.
The MAFS star claims he’s not looking for another manager or wanting to sign with a different talent agency, and instead has other plans.
“Now I have had time to think, I have my own business and want to build my own personal brand just as I was before the show, not just promote every business for a dollar,” he adds.

When was Adrian dropped from Roxy Jacenko’s agency?
Roxy shared a post of Adrian on May 5, welcoming him to the Ministry of Talent.
“Thrilled to announce that Adrian is now represented by the Ministry of Talent for social media collabs and appearances! Get in touch for opportunities,” the Instagram caption read.
The post has since been deleted and a week after the announcement, Adrian sneakily deleted the Ministry of Talent mention from his TikTok bio.
I guess we won’t see Adrian spruiking influencer products on our feeds now, which is probably a good thing.
Remember Emma from Farmer Wants A Wife 2020, who was in the running for Farmer Nick’s heart? According to one fan, she may have made an appearance on First Dates Australia years prior to the show.
“One week ago Season 3 Episode 2 of First Dates Australia was available to watch on 7Plus. Emma was on this episode, plus another and her persona and behaviour was entirely different to what we have seen on Farmer Wants A Wife,” a fan theorised in a Facebook fan group.
“I just wonder, was she acting then or now or both? I’m thinking a planted actor in both.”
Image: SevenImage: Seven
Are Farmer Wants A Wife contestants paid actors?
Some people were sceptical, saying it didn’t look anything like FWAW’s Emma — but it wasn’t long before others started sharing some very juicy secrets about the casting process.
And folks, buckle up, because these secrets are wild!
“I had a friend go on FWAW in one [of the] first few seasons. Back then the girls were actually genuine applicants… the ‘Farmers’ [were a] different story. Her ‘Farmer’ wasn’t actually a farmer; he was scouted and had no interest in being on FWAW,” one person claimed. “Think both the men and women of the show now are scouted and the whole thing is scripted.”
Farmer Thomas with his Ladies. Image: Seven
Another said she had a friend whose son had been contacted by producers.
“I have a friend whose young son has been approached the last three years to see if he wants to go on the show,” she spilled.
“Same with Clarette, I bet my bottom dollar that she is also an actor,” the fan guessed.
“Yep, just put in there to spice things up,” another agreed.
Farmer Thomas and Clarette on the show. Image: Seven
However, since Chattr uncovered a massive spoiler (look away if you don’t want to ruin the show), it’s unlikely Clarette is an actor… seeing as she ends up with Farmer Thomas!!! The pair are said to be living together on Thomas’ farm, much to the disappointment of fans.
Farmer Wants a Wife airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
